Anchocerus yini Hu & Li, sp. nov. (Figs. 14���19) Type material. Holotype: CHINA: male, Yunnan Prov., Jinghong City, Nabanhe Nature Reserve, Benggangxinzhai, alt. 1,850 m, 4 -V- 2009, HU Jia-Yao & YIN Zi-Wei leg. Description. BL: 6.2 mm, FL: 3.1 mm. Body (Fig. 14) reddish brown; head and elytra darker. Head longer than wide (HL/HW= 1.12), vaguely dilated behind eyes. Temples 2.59 times as long as eyes. Dorsal macrosetae (one side only): one near antennal base; one medially between eyes; one postero-medially, closer to neck constriction than to posterior margin of eye; one medially near neck constriction; two laterally on temple, of which one near posterior margin of eye, one near neck constriction. Surface scattered with extremely fine non-setiferous punctation, which becoming coarser between eyes. Antennae slender; relative length of antennomeres (from I to XI, each measured from base to apex): 53.0: 27.0: 14.0: 12.0: 12.0: 11.0: 11.0: 11.0: 11.0: 11.0: 15.0; relative width of antennomeres (from I to XI, maximal width: 11.5: 7.0: 6.0: 7.0: 7.5: 9.0: 9.5: 11.0: 12.0: 12.0: 11.0. Pronotum about as long as wide, longer (PL/HL= 1.31) and wider (PW/HW= 1.50) than head; with punctation much finer than those on head. Dorsal macrosetae (one side only): One medial and two lateral. Elytra with dense and coarse punctation and brown setae, shorter than wide (EL/EW= 0.95), slightly longer (EL/PL= 1.06) and wider (EW/PW= 1.09) than pronotum. Wings well developed. Scutellum with punctation and setae similar to those on elytra. Abdomen with coarse punctation except for median part of tergite II; tergite VII with whitish apical seam; tergites without microsculpture. Legs densely covered with brown setae, all tibiae with lateral spines. Male. Sternite IX (Fig. 15) long and slender, slightly emarginate medio-apically, with numerous long setae at apical portion; tergite X (Fig. 16) gradually narrowed apically, with several long setae situated at apical and lateral margins. Aedeagus (Figs 17���19) with median lobe very long and narrowed apically; paramere narrow and short, distinctly shorter than median lobe; with some very short apical and lateral setae, without sensory peg setae. Female. Unknown. Distribution. The species is known only from the type locality in Yunnan, Southwest China. Remarks. The new species is close to A. schuelkei Smetana, 2005, from which it differs by the head being longer than wide, the temples being more than 2.5 times as long as eyes, the pronotum having two lateral macrosetae at each side, and the aedeagus having longer paramere. Quwatanabius yanbini sp. nov. (Figs. 1���8) Type material. Holotype: male (SNUC), China: Guangdong Prov., Shaoguan City, Nanling N. R., 17 -VIII- 2010, Lizhen LI leg. Paratypes: 2 females (SNUC, ASC), same data as in holotype. Description. BL 4.9���5.8 mm; FL 2.3���2.8 mm. Body (Fig. 1) dark brown; mouthparts and appendages brown; front margin of pronotum and apical margin of each abdominal tergite reddish brown. Head slightly wider than long (HW/HL = 1.27); eyes small, slightly convex (TL/EyL = 1.10); no additional setiferous punctures between anterior frontal punctures; one additional setiferous puncture behind anterior frontal puncture at posterio-medial margin of eye; posterior frontal puncture situated almost midway between posterio-median margin of eye and posterior margin of head; two additional setiferous punctures between posterior frontal puncture and posterior margin of head; temporal puncture situated distinctly closer to posterior margin of head than to posterior margin of eye; surface of head without microsculpture. Antennae short; relative length of each antennomere from 1 to 11: 24.0: 17.0: 17.0: 10.0: 10.0: 10.0: 10.0: 10.0: 11.0: 12.0: 21.0; relative width of each antennomere from 1 to 11: 7.0: 8.0: 8.0: 9.0: 10.0: 11.0: 11.0: 12.0: 13.0: 13.0: 12.0. Pronotum wider than long (PW/PL = 1.20); dorsal rows each with one puncture close to anterior margin; surface without microsculpture. Scutellum impunctate, with traces of fine microsculpture of transverse waves at base. Elytra vaguely wider (EW/PW = 1.09) than pronotum, at suture vaguely (ELs/PL = 1.05), at lateral margins slightly (ELm/PL = 1.19) longer than pronotum at midline; each elytron with two slightly irregular longitudinal rows formed by four punctures, with longer setae in punctures; surface without microsculpture. Wings fully developed. Abdominal tergite 7 with whitish apical seam of palisade fringe; all tergites with fine and dense punctation, and dark brown pubescence; surface between punctures with fine and dense microsculpture of transverse waves. Male. Basal four tarsomeres markedly dilated, sub-bilobed, each with tenent setate ventrally; Sternite 8 (Fig. 2) with two long, thick lateral setae; with wide, obtusely triangular medio-apical emargination; sternite 9 (Fig. 3) slightly emarginate medio-apically, with single long seta at each side of emargination; tergite 10 (Fig. 4) distinctly emarginate medio-apically, with one or two thick setae at each side of emargination and with one additional long seta. Aedeagus (Fig. 5, 6) with median lobe subparallel-sided in middle portion, then conically narrowed into acute apex. Paramere very small, reduced into a triangular thin sheet; lacking setae and sensory peg setae. Inner sac with large sclerites, as in Fig. 7. Female. Basal four segments of front tarsus similar to those of male. Tergite 10 (Fig. 8) gradually narrowed toward minutely emarginate apex, with seven long, strong setae at apical margin. Remarks. The new species may be distinguished from the similar Qu. flavicornis (Sharp, 1889), in addition to the characters of the aedoeagus, by the dark brown elytra and by the male sternite 8 bearing triangular medio-apical emargination. In Qu. flavicornis basal 1 / 3 of elytra is reddish brown, male sternite 8 bears round medio-apical emargination, and shape of the aedoeagus is different. Distribution. The new species is known only from the type locality in Southern China (Guangdong). Etymology. Anchocerus pengzhongi Hu & Li, sp. nov. (Figs. 1���7) Type material. Holotype: CHINA: male, Guangxi Prov., Lingui County, Huaping Nature Reserve, Anjiangping, alt. 1,400���1,700m, 14 -VII- 2011, PENG Zhong leg. Paratypes: CHINA: 1 female, same data as holotype; 1 female, same locality as holotype, alt. 1,500m, 18 -VII- 2011, TANG Liang leg. Description. BL: 12.6���13.9 mm, FL: 5.1���5.8 mm. Body (Fig. 1) dark brown; mouthparts, basal two segments of antennae, legs and apical margin of abdominal tergites reddish brown. Head shorter than wide (HL/HW= 0.94), distinctly dilated behind eyes. Temples 2.24 times as long as eyes. Dorsal macrosetae (one side only): one near antennal base; one medially between eyes; one postero-medially, closer to neck constriction than to posterior margin of eye; one medially near neck constriction; two laterally on temple, of which one near posterior margin of eye, one near neck constriction. Surface with dense and fine nonsetiferous punctation. Antennae slender; relative length of antennomeres (from I to XI, each measured from base to apex): 85.0: 50.0: 27.0: 21.0: 23.0: 21.0: 20.0: 19.0: 16.0: 14.0: 20.0; relative width of antennomeres (from I to XI, maximal width): 22.0: 12.0: 10.5: 10.5: 14.0: 14.0: 15.0: 17.0: 17.0: 18.0: 18.0. Pronotum shorter than wide (PL/PW= 0.86), longer (PL/HL= 1.15) and wider (PW/HW= 1.26) than head; with punctation finer than those on head. Dorsal macrosetae (one side only): One medial and two lateral. Elytra with dense and coarse punctation and brown setae, shorter than wide (EL/EW= 0.88), slightly longer (EL/PL= 1.08) and wider (EW/PW= 1.06) than pronotum. Wings well developed. Scutellum with punctation and setae similar to those on elytra. Abdomen with coarse punctation except for median part of tergite II; tergite VII with whitish apical seam; all tergites with dense transverse microsculpture. Legs densely covered with brown setae, all tibiae with lateral spines. Male. Sternite IX (Fig. 2) long and slender, with numerous long setae at apical portion; tergite (Fig. 3) gradually narrowing apically, with several long setae situated at apical and lateral margins. Aedeagus (Figs 4���6): median lobe slightly emarginate apically in ventral view, slightly curved ventrally at apical fourth in lateral view; paramere relatively wide, distinctly shorter than median lobe; with bunch of four setae and about 40 sensory peg setae at apex. Female. Tergite X (Fig. 7) with several long setae situated at apical and lateral margins. Second gonocoxite setose and elongate, with two long apical macrosetae. Distribution. The species is known only from the type locality in Guangxi, Southwest China. Remarks. The new species is close to A. giganteus Hu, Li & Zhao, 2010 and A. grandis Solodovnikov, 2008, from which it can be distinguished by the smaller eyes and the median lobe being slightly emarginate at apex in ventral view. Additionally it differs from A. giganteus by having an entire paramere and from A. grandis by the head being densely and finely punctuate. Etymology. Quwatanabius zhejiangensis sp. nov. (Figs. 9���15) Type material. Holotype: male (SNUC), China: Zhejiang Prov., Lishui City, Qingyuan County, Baishanzu N. R., alt. 1500m, 22���23 -XI- 2008, Liang TANG & Feng ZHANG leg. Description. BL 5.3 mm; FL 2.6 mm. Similar to Q. yanbini, but differs in the following characters: Pronotal disc and abdominal tergites 3 and 4 (first two visible) reddish brown (Fig. 9). Male. Sternite 8 (Fig. 10) with narrow, rather shallow, subarcuate medio-apical emargination; sternite 9 (Fig. 11) with apex narrowly arcuate; tergite 10 (Fig. 12) irregularly subtruncate apically. Aedeagus (Fig. 13, 14) small; median lobe gradually narrowed anteriad, with subacute apex. Paramere reduced into a triangular thin sheet, extending to the apical 1 / 3 of median lobe; lacking setae and sensory peg setae; inner sac as in Fig. 15. Female. Unknown. Remarks. The new species may be distinguished from the similar Qu. flavicornis by the dark brown elytra, by the male sternite 9 with the narrowly arcuate apex, and by the male tergite 10 apically not emarginated. Distribution. Known only from the type locality in Eastern China (Zhejiang). Etymology. Nazeris baishanzuensis Hu, Li & Zhao, sp. nov. (Figs. 11, 63– 67) Type material. Holotype: CHINA: Zhejiang Prov.: ɗ, Lishui City, Qingyuan County, Baishanzu, 1050 m, 4.V. 2005, HU Jia-Yao & TANG Liang & ZHU Li-Long leg. Paratypes: CHINA: Zhejiang Prov.: 2 ɗɗ, 3 ΨΨ, same data as holotype; ɗ, Ψ, same locality as holotype, 19.VIII. 2004, HU Jia-Yao & TANG Liang & ZHU Li-Long leg. Description. Body length: 4.1–4.7 mm; forebody length: 2.5–2.8 mm. Body (Fig. 11) elongate, reddish brown, with coxae reddish yellow, antennal segments (except for two basal), maxillary palpi and legs (except for coxae) yellow. Head suborbicular, slightly longer than broad (length/width = 1.02); postocular portion 2.10 times as long as eye length; on disc intervals between punctures flat, not raised like carinae. Antennae slender, extending to middle of pronotum; relative length of each segment from 1 to 11: 16.0: 5.5: 9.0: 8.0: 7.5: 7.0: 6.5: 6.0: 5.5: 5.5: 8.0; relative width of each segment from 1 to 11: 5.0: 3.5: 2.5: 2.5: 2.5: 2.5: 2.5: 2.5: 2.5:3.0: 3.0. Pronotum convex and oval, longer than wide (length/width = 1.15), narrower (pronotum/head = 0.87) and shorter (pronotum/head = 0.98) than head; prosternum with strong longitudinal median carina extending to its anterior margin. Elytra as long as wide, distinctly shorter (elytra/pronotum = 0.86) and slightly narrower (elytra/pronotum = 0.98) than pronotum. Abdomen without microsculpture. Male. Seventh sternite (Fig. 63) slightly triangularly emarginate in middle of posterior margin; 8 th sternite (Fig. 64) deeply triangularly excised in middle of posterior margin. Aedeagus (Figs. 65–67) distinctly sclerotized; in dorsal view lateral sides of apical half of median lobe nearly straight and parallel, narrowed arcuately near apex, with a little projection at apex; dorso-lateral apophyses curved inward, slightly projecting inwards at middle in dorsal view, slightly dilated in middle 1 / 3 in lateral view, with apices not reaching apex of median lobe. Female. Seventh and 8 th sternites simple. Remarks. Nazeris baishanzuensis is similar in appearance to N. yangdangensis, but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: male 7 th sternite slightly emarginate at middle in posterior margin (Fig. 63) (in N. yangdangensis slightly convex); median lobe of aedeagus with a little projection at apex in dorsal view (Fig. 65) (in N. yangdangensis with V-shaped notch at apex of median lobe). Distribution. China (Zhejiang Prov.). Etymology. The species name is derived from the name of the type locality: Baishanzu Nature Reserve.

Nazeris niutoushanus Hu, Li & Zhao, sp. nov. (Figs. 4, 28��� 32) Type material. Holotype: CHINA: Zhejiang Prov.: ��, Wuyi County, Niutoushan, 400���600 m, 3.VIII. 2006, LI Jin-Wen & SHEN Shan-Jia leg. Paratypes: CHINA: Zhejiang Prov.: 8 ����, 2 ����, same data as holotype; 8 ����, 4 ����, Wuyi County, Niutoushan, 500���700 m, 4.VIII. 2006, LI Jin-Wen & SHEN Shan-Jia leg. Description. Body length: 4.5���4.9 mm; forebody length: 2.6���2.7 mm. Body (Fig. 4) elongate, brown, with labrum, coxae and two basal antennal segments reddish yellow; the remaining antennal segments, maxillary palpi and legs except for coxae yellow. Head suborbicular, slightly longer than broad (length/width = 1.06); postocular portion twice as long as eye length; on disc intervals between punctures flat, not raised like carinae. Antennae slender, extending to basal 1 / 3 of pronotum; relative length of each segment from 1 to 11: 32.0: 12.0: 20.0: 15.0: 15.0: 14.0: 14.0: 14.0: 14.0: 13.0: 17.0; relative width of each segment from 1 to 11: 10.0: 7.0: 5.0: 5.0: 5.0: 5.0: 5.0: 5.0: 5.0:6.0: 7.0. Pronotum convex and oval, longer than wide (length/width = 1.19), narrower (pronotum/head = 0.88) than and as long as head; prosternum with strong longitudinal median carina not reaching its anterior margin. Elytra slightly shorter than wide (length/width = 0.97), distinctly shorter (elytra/pronotum = 0.82) than and as wide as pronotum. Third tergite of abdomen without microsculpture, 4 th and 5 th tergite with very faint microsculpture, 6 th tergite with mesh-like microsculpture reaching posterior margin, third to 6 th sternite without microsculpture, 7 th sternite with mesh-like microsculpture reaching posterior margin. Male. Seventh sternite (Fig. 28) simply rounded in middle of posterior margin; 8 th sternite (Fig. 29) deeply Vshaped excised in middle of posterior margin. Aedeagus (Figs. 30���32) distinctly sclerotized; median lobe in dorsal view widened in apical 1 / 3 and with triangular extension near apex; dorso-lateral apophyses long and narrow, slightly curved inwards, gradually narrowed from base to middle and then widened apically, distinctly widened ventrad near apex in lateral view, extending beyond apex of median lobe. Female. Seventh and 8 th sternites simple. Remarks. Nazeris niutoushanus is similar in appearance to N. nomurai Watanabe, 2000 from Yunnan Province, but can be easily distinguished from the latter by the following characters: male 7 th sternite simply rounded at middle of posterior margin (Fig. 28) (in N. nomurai slightly emarginate); 8 th sternite with V-shaped emargination (Fig. 29) (in N. nomurai the emargination is wider and rounder); dorso-lateral apophyses of aedeagus nearly straight in lateral view (Fig. 31) (in N. nomurai curved ventrad).
