With the increasing burden of hypertension in Chinese adults, the detection rate of hypertension among children and adolescents continued to rise, drawing increasing attention to the impact of pubertal timing on blood pressure. In recent years, many scholars have evaluated the association between pubertal development and blood pressure at different stages using various methods of assessing pubertal timing. To understand the correlation between pubertal timing and blood pressure in adolescents, this study reviews the associations between pubertal timing and blood pressure and their underlying mechanisms. The relationship between earlier female pubertal development and the risk of hypertension in adulthood shows positive, negative, and U-shaped correlations, with varying results. Earlier female pubertal development may lead to a higher detection rate of hypertension during adolescence. Most of the studies focus on the correlation between pubertal timing and adult blood pressure, with less research on adolescent blood pressure, indicating a need for further research to reveal underlying patterns.

AimThis study aimed to evaluate the validity, reliability and acceptability of the Implementation Leadership Scale in the Chinese nursing context.DesignThis study utilized a cross-sectional design.MethodsThis study was conducted in one general tertiary hospital with 234 nurses (85.3% response rate) from 35 clinical units in China. Content validity, structural validity, convergent validity, reliability (internal consistency), agreement indices and acceptability were evaluated. The data collection was from December 1st, 2017 to June 30th, 2018.ResultsConfirmatory factor analysis demonstrated a good model fit to the four-factor implementation leadership model. The psychometric testing also indicated good convergent validity, high internal consistency and acceptable aggregation. Most participants completed the scale in two minutes or less and agreed or strongly agreed that the questions were relevant to implementation leadership, clear and easy to answer.ConclusionsThis study demonstrated that the Chinese Implementation Leadership Scale is a valid, reliable and pragmatic tool for measuring strategic leadership for implementing evidence-based practices.

Three‐phase four‐leg inverters are widely used in power systems due to their inherent ability to handle unbalanced loads. However, with conventional 3D space vector pulse width modulation (3D‐SVPWM), high harmonics of large amplitude exist in the output voltage around the switching frequency and its integer multiples leading to noise in the load motor and limiting the application range of the inverter system. The passband amplification of conventional sinusoidal filters and their cutoff frequency vary with the load, so it is particularly important to investigate the regulation strategy with harmonic suppression. In this study, an improved 3D discontinuous pulse width modulation (M3D‐DPWM) strategy is proposed based on 3D‐SVPWM. By reducing the conventional 3D‐SVPWM switching segments and changing the vector synthesis sequence of the last half switching cycle, the output phase voltage period is reduced to half of the original one, which achieves the purpose of suppressing the output voltage at the switching frequency and its odd multiple high harmonics without changing the fundamental characteristics and adding additional circuits. In contrast, the conventional 3D‐SVPWM switching frequency is increased to 20 kHz to achieve similar performance. An improved RTDETR detector is proposed to solve the challenges in UAV target detection, such as small and dense targets, complex background and limited hardware conditions. In the backbone network, lightweight multi-scale attention feature extraction module (Rep-FasterNet EMA block) is designed, and RepConv is used to improve the FasterNet block. Meanwhile, multi-scale attention module (EMA) is introduced to enhance the spatial feature extraction capability and reduce the computational redundancy. In the Encoder part, DyASF feature fusion structure is used to replace CCFM, and dynamic scale sequence feature fusion (DySSFF) module and triple feature encoder (TPE) module are used to avoid the loss of small target feature information caused by up and down sampling, enrich the detailed information of small target detection, and enhance the network scale feature fusion capability. Finally, for the loss function, combining the advantages of Focaler-IoU and shape-IoU, Focaler-Shape-IoU is proposed to replace the original model GIOU, inject the shape and scale information of the bounding box, focus the difficult samples, and enhance the bounding box regression effect. The experimental results show that the mAP0.5 and mAP0.5:0.95 of the improved model on the Visdrone2019 dataset are improved by 1.6 percentage points and 0.7 percentage points respectively, while the weight file size has been reduced to a certain extent, which verifies the effectiveness of the improved model. Fusarium wilt is one of the major constraints on global watermelon production, and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. niveum (Fon) is the causative agent of Fusarium wilt in watermelon and results in severe yield and quality losses worldwide. The enhancement of antifungal activity from antagonistic bacteria against Fon is highly practical for managing Fusarium wilt in watermelon. The aim of this study was to maximize the antifungal activity of Bacillus velezensis LZN01 by optimizing fermentation conditions and analysing its regulatory mechanism via transcriptome sequencing. The culture and fermentation conditions for strain LZN01 were optimized by single‐factor and response surface experiments. The optimum culture conditions for this strain were as follows: the addition of D‐fructose at 35 g/L and NH4Cl at 5 g/L in LB medium, pH 7, and incubation at 30°C for 72 h. The fungal inhibition rate for strain LZN01 reached 71.1%. The improvement of inhibition rate for strain LZN01 in optimization fermentation was supported by transcriptomic analysis; a total of 491 genes were upregulated, while 736 genes were downregulated. Transcriptome analysis revealed that some differentially expressed genes involved in carbon and nitrogen metabolism, oxidation–reduction, fatty acid and secondary metabolism; This optimization process could potentially lead to significant alterations in the production levels and types of antimicrobial compounds by the strain. Metabolomics and UPLC/Q‐Exactive Orbitrap MS analysis revealed that the production yields of antimicrobial compounds, such as surfactin, fengycin, shikimic acid, and myriocin, increased or were detected in the cell‐free supernatant (CFS) after the fermentation optimization process. Our results indicate that fermentation optimization enhances the antifungal activity of the LZN01 strain by influencing the expression of genes responsible for the synthesis of antimicrobial compounds. Aim: To explore the prospective acceptability of an implementation leadership training programme prototype for nurse managers in China to implement evidence‐based practices, from the perspectives of potential programme participants and deliverers. Design: A qualitative descriptive study was conducted in Spring 2022 at three tertiary hospitals in Hunan, China. Methods: We conducted individual semi‐structured interviews with unit‐level nurse managers (n = 14), including 12 potential participants, and two potential deliverers that have been involved in developing the programme prototype. Interview questions and thematic analysis were guided by the Theoretical Framework of Acceptability. Results: After reviewing the programme content, potential participants and deliverers reported that unit nurse managers would benefit from engaging in the programme, acknowledging that the programme fit with professional nursing values for implementing research evidence. They expressed positive views about being involved in producing academic papers through the training process, and interactive multi‐modal training activities such as group work, experience‐sharing and coaching. Seven participants were not very confident about being fully engaged in the training, as they could not navigate the English research literature. Both participants and deliverers highlighted factors that would influence their participation, including time constraints, the impact of the COVID‐19 pandemic, and support from senior organizational leadership. Conclusions: The training programme prototype was perceived to be useful and acceptable. The multimodal training activities were considered a strength and managers expressed an interest in writing academic papers about their implementation processes. Support from senior hospital leaders and programme deliverers was identified as critical to the training programme's success. Impact: The study helps understand nurse managers' perceptions and concerns of participating in an implementation leadership training programme and could inform the development and refinement of similar programmes in various nursing contexts globally. Background: Recent studies provide compelling evidence linking the gut microbiota to most cancers. Nevertheless, further research is required to establish a definitive causal relationship between the gut microbiota and malignant cardiac tumors. Methods: The genome‐wide association studies (GWAS) data on the human gut Microbiota, included in the IEU Open GWAS project, was initially collected by the MiBioGen consortium. It encompasses 14,306 individuals and comprises a total of 5,665,279 SNPs. Similarly, the GWAS data on malignant cardiac tumors, also sourced from the IEU Open GWAS project, was initially stored in the finnGen database, including 16,380,303 SNPs observed within a cohort of 174,108 individuals within the European population. Utilizing a two‐sample Mendelian randomization (MR) methodology, we examined whether there exists a causal association between the gut microbiota and cardiac tumors. Additionally, to bolster the credibility and robustness of the identified causal relationships, we conducted an extensive array of sensitivity analyses, encompassing Cochran's Q test, MR‐PRESSO tests, MR‐Egger interpret test, directionality test and leave‐one‐out analysis. Results: Our analysis unveiled seven distinct causal associations between genetic susceptibility in the gut microbiota and the incidence of malignant cardiac tumors. Among these, the Family Rikenellaceae, genus Eubacterium brachy group, and genus Ruminococcaceae UCG009 exhibited an elevated risk of cardiac tumors, while the phylum Verrucomicrobia, genus Lactobacillus, genus Ruminiclostridium5, and an unknown genus id.1868 were genetically linked to a reduced risk of cardiac tumors. The causal relationship between these two bacteria, belonging to the phylum Verrucomicrobia (OR = 0.178, 95% CI: 0.052–0.614, p = 0.006) and the genus Ruminococcaceae UCG009 (OR = 3.071, 95% CI: 1.236–7.627, p = 0.016), and cardiac tumors was further validated through sensitivity analyses, reinforcing the robustness and reliability of the observed associations. Conclusion: Our MR analysis confirms that the phylum Verrucomicrobia displays significant protection against cardiac tumor, and the genus Ruminococcaceae UCG009 leads to an increasing risk of cardiac tumor. Exposure to patients who have experienced major traumatic events places burn therapists at risk of developing high levels of anxiety and stress, directly impacting their quality of life. Poor professional quality of life has been associated with negative physical and emotional characteristics in healthcare professionals and may subsequently influence patient safety and satisfaction, job retention, and productivity. The purpose of this study was to understand and describe the experiences of occupational and physical therapists who provide acute therapy to people who have sustained burn injuries. Semistructured interviews were completed with 10 participants (8 females and 7 physical therapists) for this qualitative descriptive study. Conventional content analysis was used to analyze the data collected from semistructured interviews. Six themes emerged after content analysis: (1) the importance of therapeutic relationships to patient successes and therapists' retention; (2) the autonomy and flexibility of burn therapists; (3) the impact of career longevity on compassion; (4) the uniqueness of burn team relationships and camaraderie; (5) the challenges of operating within the business of a healthcare system; and (6) the physical, mental, and emotional challenges to the burn therapists' resiliency. This research brings to light the physical, mental, and emotional challenges that impact burn therapists' resiliency, and which should be considered when creating programs to increase retention and professional quality of life in this professional population.
