Virtual reality (VR) technology has made remarkable progress in recent years and will be widely used in the future. As a bridge for information exchanges between users and VR systems, the interaction interface is pivotal for providing users with a good experience and has emerged as a key research focus. In this review, we conducted a comprehensive search of the Web of Science and CNKI databases from 2011 to 2023 to identify articles dedicated to VR interaction interface design. Through a meticulous analysis of 438 articles, this paper offers a substantial contribution to the emerging field of VR interactive interface research, providing an in-depth review of the principal research advancements. This review revealed that the majority of studies are centered on practical case analyses within specific application scenarios, employing empirical evaluation methods to assess objective or subjective metrics. We then concentrated on elucidating the foundational principles of interface design and their evaluation methodologies, providing a reference for future research endeavors. Additionally, the limitations, challenges, and future directions in VR interaction interface design research were discussed, highlighting the need for further research in design evaluation to continuously refine the development of standards and guidelines for VR interactive interface design. According to the findings of this review, there is a necessity to enhance research on information design for multi-channel interactive interfaces. Furthermore, it is essential to focus on the diverse characteristics of users to propose more inclusive design solutions. Engineering equipment can efficiently assist humans in completing engineering projects and reduce work intensity. As the difficulty and scope of operations increase, higher requirements are placed on function and integration. In product design, excessive user requirements and design constraints lead to discrete results, difficult to converge. Under multi-functionality and high integration constraints, traditional mapping sub-functions to structures one by one results in overabundant mappings, and discrete, redundant structures after mapping, poorly achieving integration and reducing subsequent iteration efficiency. To address these issues, this paper proposes a conceptual design methodology for engineering equipment with function units configuration and schemes iterative solution. First, the Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment (FQFD) method applies fuzzy theory to requirement-to-function conversion, overcoming ambiguity and subjectivity of user requirements. Second, with the goal of integrated structures, an improved FBS method, i.e. Function-Function Units-Structure (FFUS), aggregates sub-functions after decomposition into function units, and then maps to structures, improving engineering equipment integration. Moreover, the Interactive Genetic Algorithm (IGA) method involves users in an interactive process to generate an optimised design scheme, overcoming blind solution generation. Prototype design and simulation of 8VN1 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) handing equipment demonstrate that the methodologies are effective in aiding engineering equipment conceptual design. A number of studies have found that the difficulty in social interactive behaviors and recognize items are two core syndromes of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children. Previous research has found that ASD children paid more attention to robots comparing to people.Intervention programs with robots as instructors or partners were also proved to be effective in improving ASD children’s social skills.Yet, few studies find robot intervention works in ASD children training.So research explore the possibility of apply such intervention programs into product design.The present study aimed at involving an animated character of robot in an application (APP) of intervention program to facilitate ASD children’s learning of social interactive skills.In order to achieve the goal, a training system based on sensory integration training was established by the design software of Sketch.Augmented Reality (AR) technology was used to create a multi-modal interactive environment of the APP.The present study is among the first attempt to apply sensory integration training in APP design, aiming at promoting social and cognitive performance in ASD children.

Innovation in design is increasingly crucial to satisfy the growing demand for user-centric products and mitigate the effects caused by design uncertainties. Recently, the integration of AI technologies into product design processes has ignited unprecedented opportunities for design innovation, offering novel opportunities to augment processes and enhance design outcomes. AI-generated content (AIGC) represents emerging AI technologies that can efficiently generate quality design data across various modalities such as texts, images, audio, video and simulated sensor data. With such technology, designers are enabled to simplify and expedite the design process while ensuring the creation and production of high-quality design objects. This study aims to report the role of state-of-the-art AIGC technologies, how they will drive design innovation and identify their promising future applications. It delves into the vision, challenges, and opportunities presented by AIGC technologies, offering insights to inspire further research agenda. Lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2), which has been successfully applied in commercial lithium-ion batteries for portable devices, possesses a theoretical specific capacity of 274 mAh g−1. However, its actual capacity is only half of the theoretical specific capacity, because the charging voltage is restricted below 4.2 V. If a higher charging voltage is applied, an irreversible phase transition of LiCoO2 during delithiation would occur, resulting in severe capacity fading. Therefore, it is essential to investigate the electrochemically driven phase transition of LiCoO2 cathode material to approach its theoretical capacity. In this work, it was observed that LiCoO2 partially degraded to Co3O4 after 150 charging-discharging cycles. From the perspective of crystallography, the conventional cell of LiCoO2 was rebuilt to an orthonormal coordinate, and the transition path from layered LiCoO2 to cubic Co3O4 proposed. The theoretical analysis indicated that the electrochemically driven phase transition from LiCoO2 to Co3O4 underwent several stages. Based on this, an experimental verification was made by doping LiCoO2 with Al, In, Mg, and Zr, respectively. The doped samples theoretically predicted behavior. The findings in this study provide insights into the electrochemically driven phase transition in LiCoO2, and the phase transition can be eliminated to improve the capacity of LiCoO2 to its theoretical value.
