Background: Assessing various types of dysfunction in cerebral palsy is a key factor in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. The objective of this study was to use meta-analysis and systematic review to identify the specific white matter lesions and DTI metrics strongly associated with various types of dysfunction in cerebral palsy. Methods: We conducted a literature search of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library and Web of Science databases to identify trials published that had evaluated the correlation between DTI metrics in sensorimotor pathways and function scores in cerebral palsy. Correlation coefficient (r) values were extracted for each study, and the extent of r was quantitatively explored. The remaining part of the study was analyzed qualitatively. Results: 46 studies involving 1458 children with cerebral palsy, were included. 19 articles for Meta-analysis and 27 articles were descriptively analyzed. DTI metrics such as FA、MD in both sensory and motor pathways significantly correlated with various function ratings. In overall motor dysfunction, compared with the CST and PTR, FA of the PLIC correlated more strongly with GMFCS, and showed no significant heterogeneity (r = -1.28, confidence interval [CI]-1.70 to -0.87,I2 = 38.2%,P = 0.233). In upper limb dysfunction, compared with the AHA and MA2, FA of the CST correlated more strongly with BBT, and showed no significant heterogeneity (r = -0.56, confidence interval [CI]-0.78 to -0.34,I2 = 0.0%,P = 0.511). Lower limb dysfunction and other dysfunctions we used qualitative analysis. The qualitative analysis offered a concise overview of each investigation. Conclusions: This study basically identifies the specific white matter lesions corresponding to overall motor dysfunction, upper limb and lower limb motor deficits and other dysfunctions in patients with cerebral palsy, as well as the associated DTI metrics. In the context of mines, roof-caving incidents constitute the most common and expensive accidents. To enhance the management and prevention of roof-caving accidents, it is imperative to investigate the factors that contribute to such incidents and comprehend the intricate causal relationships among them. This study aims to classify the causes of these accidents into three categories: basic factors, controllable factors, and sudden factors, based on the mechanism of roof caving. The categorization is primarily determined by two indicators: intervisibility and variability. Furthermore, the study delves into analyzing the mutual influence relationships among these factors and proposes the BCX theory (Basic-Controllable-Sudden causing theory) for roof caving. Subsequently, based on this theory, an index system called BCX is established for roof caving, and the DEMATEL method is employed to analyze the factors within this index system. To attain more accurate results, this study utilizes interval trapezoidal type-2 fuzzy number scale optimization and Tsallis relative entropy to address the limitations of the DEMATEL method. By comparing the outcomes of the traditional and optimal DEMATEL methods, it is observed that the optimal method exhibits superior applicability in the BCX index system of roof caving, with results that align closely with the actual scenario. Therefore, the optimal DEMATEL method's analysis of centrality, importance, and chain relationships between the factors within the BCX index system will offer valuable guidance for preventing roof-caving accidents in mining operations. Introduction: The purpose was to quantify the health effects of tobacco using data from the 2019 Global Burden of Disease study.Aims and Methods: We collected detailed information on tobacco consumption overall as well as its individual aspects (smoking, secondhand smoke, and chewing tobacco) for the deaths and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) for all-cause disease, cardiovascular disease, neoplasms, and chronic respiratory diseases, and their age-standardized rates (ASRs).Results: Tobacco was responsible for 8.71 million deaths and 229.77 million DALYs globally in 2019. The ASRs of all tobacco-related deaths and DALYs declined from 1990 to 2019, to 108.55 deaths per 100 000 population and 2791.04 DALYs per 100 000 population in 2019. During any year the ASRs of all tobacco-related deaths and DALYs were higher in males than in females. The ASRs of all tobacco-related deaths and DALYs were highest in countries with a low-middle sociodemographic index (SDI) and lowest in high-SDI countries in 2019. Cardiovascular disease, neoplasms, and chronic respiratory diseases were the three leading causes of tobacco-related mortality.Conclusions: Although the ASRs of deaths and DALYs related to tobacco have declined, the absolute number remain high. Tobacco control policies need to be strengthened further in order to reduce the heavy health burden of tobacco.Implications: This study provides a detailed description on the health effects of tobacco, including maps of the current global burden of tobacco-related disease. Objective: To systemically investigate the prevalence and risk factors of monoclonal gammopathy (MG) in patients with autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic disease (AIIRD)., Methods: A literature search was conducted using databases of PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science for relevant studies from inception to 31 July 2021. The pooled prevalence, odds ratio (OR), weighted mean difference (WMD), and 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated with Stata 16.0 using a random or fixed effects model., Results: In 17 included studies involving 6667 AIIRD patients, the pooled prevalence of MG in AIIRD patients was 7% (95%CI: 0.06-0.09). Compared to general populations, patients with Sjögren's syndrome (SS) possessed the highest risk for MG (OR 4.51; 95%CI: 3.39-5.74), followed by systemic lupus erythematosus (OR 3.99; 95%CI: 2.84-5.14), ankylosing spondylitis (OR 2.04; 95%CI: 1.11-2.97), and rheumatoid arthritis (OR 2.00; 95%CI: 1.79-2.22). Older age (WMD = 5.17 years; 95%CI: 0.68-9.66), higher erythrocyte sedimentation rate (WMD = 14.04 mm/H; 95%CI: 7.77-20.30), higher serum gammaglobulins level (WMD = 1.92 mg/dl, 95%CI: 0.51-3.32) were associated with a greater risk of MG in AIIRD patients., Conclusions: MG prevalence was higher in AIIRD patients, especially in SS patients.
