Title: Experimental investigation of human gait analysis parameters Objective: The main objective of diploma thesis was an experiment, that examined kinematic and dimensional parameters of human gait which was captured by several cameras and acquired data was recorded in 2D and 3D measurement. Secondary objective was to compare and statistically evaluate data acquired from measurement. The objective of analysis was to discover and describe possible regularities, patterns of human gait and other connections in investigated subjects. Methods: Comparative method was used in the thesis. The purpose of the experiment was to compare parameters measured during attempts of every subject that were conducted under different conditions (different velocity, dressed, undressed, in the environment of 2D and 3D recording) and also to compare different subjects with each other. Results: In the experiment we observed that it is possible to prove the relation between the length of a step and the velocity of gait and also the relation between the change in the body height and the velocity of human gait by three dimensional recording of gait and its analysis. Aims: The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of MPAT therapy on postural stability using a selected parameter among physiotherapy students with functional motor system disorders. The sub-objective of the study is to evaluate the change in the occurrence of TrP after the first two physiotherapy sessions in the experimental group. Methods: 24 physiotherapy students of the 3rd LF UK, average age 20.9 ± 1.0 years, were divided into two groups. The experimental group attended 7 times 90 minutes of ambulatory physiotherapy using the method of a Motoric program activating therapy during three months. The control group did not change their previous habits. Both groups were examined at the beginning and at the end of the intervention. In addition, the experimental group was examined during the therapy for the occurrence of TrP after 2 sessions. The instrumental measurement of postural stability was performed at the FTVS, UK, using a tensometric platform in 4 tests - standing with a narrow base of support, with eyes open and closed, and one-leg stances. This thesis compares the rate of adverse events in standard and intensified physiotherapy. The theoretical part of thesis provides basic information about rehabilitation in intensive care of various procedures, which are recommended, and also safety criteria that must be followed when working with the patient. This work is also based on these safety principles and limitations. In this part is introduced the term functional electrical stimulation, it's history, effects, use and brief description of the study, on the basis of which the practical part is performed. In the practical part of this work there is observation of the values of five variables - systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, saturation, pulse, and minute ventilation - observed on ten patients. The results showed that in three variables there was no difference in the rate of adverse events in both therapies, in one variable a higher rate was found in standard therapy and in one variable in intensified therapy. The results also showed a relatively high variation in the rate of adverse events for individual therapies and patients. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the influence of intensified and standard therapy on the life functions of critically ill patients. The theoretical part summarizes the basic information about the possibilities of physiotherapy in intensive care, recommended procedures for physiotherapeutic intervention and safety criteria, which are important to follow. Furthermore, the method of functional electrical stimulation, its history, effects and utilization is characterized. The theoretical part contains a description of study, in which the material for the practical part was acquired. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the evaluation of the incidence of undesirable phenomena of intensified therapy to systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate and breath volume. Intense is achieved by functional electrical stimulation assisted cycling ergometry. The study was conducted in ten randomly selected patients hospitalized at the Clinic of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation at the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital in Prague. Introduction: A new approach to the treatment of critically ill patients lies in early mobilization. One of the options is the functional electrical assisted ergometry method (FES- CE). Until now, we do not know how much patients are burdened with this therapy - we know nothing but meaningless numbers. The aim of the work is therefore to describe what the patients undergo during the therapy and to get an idea about the therapy itself. Aim: Find out the distance traveled during functional electrical stimulation on cycloergometer (meters), the average session duration (seconds) and how energy-intensive the therapy is (calories). Introduction: Muscle weakness is a manifestation of multi-organ dysfunction at peripheral nerve and muscle level, and its severity is that it prolongs weaning and reduces rehabilitation options in critically ill patient. New approaches to the treatment of critically ill patient lie primarily in their early mobilization, and one of the possibilities of this early mobilization is functional muscle stimulation. Functional electrical stimulation can generate muscle contraction in critically ill patient, which can lead to muscle growth and reduce muscle weakness in critically ill patient. However, the precise effects of functional electrical stimulation are not yet known. Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to determine whether the method of functional electrical stimulation can influence muscle atrophy in critically ill patients.
