Abstract

Urban air mobility, also known as UAM, is currently being researched in a variety of metropolitan regions throughout the world as a potential new mode of transport for travelling shorter distances inside a territory. In this article, we investigate whether or not the market can back the necessary financial commitments to deploy UAM. A challenge in defining and addressing a critical phase of such guidance is called a demand forecast problem. To achieve this goal, a deep learning model for forecasting temporal data is proposed. This model is used to find and study the scientific issues involved. A benchmark dataset of 150,000 records was used for this purpose. Our experiments used different state-of-the-art DL models: LSTM, GRU, and Transformer for UAM demand prediction. The transformer showed a high performance with an RMSE of 0.64, allowing decision-makers to analyze the feasibility and viability of their investments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

International audience; Under the generic term "Web 2.0" are gathered many different tools allowing a better interaction between a user and an Internet site, or between communities of users by mean of a Web site. Social networks, but also wikis, mashups, tags etc. have had an exponential development in private life applications. As a consequence, companies have also been interested in these tools, with the result of new terms like "Enterprise 2.0", "Manufacturing 2.0" or "ERP 2.0" suggesting the idea to transpose the use of these tools to industrial applications. We analyze in this communication cases of implementation of Web 2.0 technologies into industrial practices and software. We shall show that structured methods allowing to identify on which processes the Web 2.0 can bring something new, and how, are still to be defined. Mots clés-Web 2.0, ERP, réseaux sociaux.; Sous le terme de "Web 2.0" sont regroupés un certain nombre d'outils permettant une meilleure interaction entre un utilisateur et un site Internet, ou entre des communautés d'utilisateurs par l'intermédiaire de sites Web. Les réseaux sociaux, mais aussi les wikis, les "mashups", les "tags" etc. ont ainsi connu un développement exponentiel dans les applications grand public. L'Entreprise s'est donc à son tour intéressée à ces outils, avec pour conséquence la multiplication de termes comme "Entreprise 2.0", "Manufacturing 2.0" ou "ERP 2.0" exprimant l'idée de transposer l'utilisation de ces outils à des applications industrielles. Nous proposons dans cette communication d'analyser des cas d'intégration des technologies du Web 2.0 dans des pratiques et logiciels industriels. Nous montrerons qu'il manque des méthodes structurées permettant de déterminer sur quels processus les outils du Web 2.0 peuvent apporter un "plus", et de quelle manière.

18. Towards a collaborative MRP for supply chain coordination.

Abstract

The necessity to increase collaboration in nowadays supply chains is emphasized both by academics and practitioners, but most of the supply chains are still managed through cascades of classical MRP/MRP2 systems. Interviews in the aeronautical sector have shown us the existence of many hidden practices aiming at satisfying local constraints which would be better addressed through collaborative processes. We suggest in this communication to define a “collaborative MRP” which would not only provide a better global performance than purely local planning, but take into account the autonomy of the involved partners which is not always respected by centralized approaches using APS (Advanced Planning Systems).
