The geoscience knowledge graph (GeoKG) has gained worldwide attention due to its ability in the formal representation of spatiotemporal features and relationships of geoscience knowledge. Currently, a quantitative review of the state and trends in GeoKG is still scarce. Thus, a bibliometric analysis was performed in this study to fill the gap. Specifically, based on 294 research articles published from 2012 to 2023, we conducted analyses in terms of the (1) trends in publications and citations; (2) identification of the major papers, sources, researchers, institutions, and countries; (3) scientific collaboration analysis; and (4) detection of major research topics and tendencies. The results revealed that the interest in GeoKG research has rapidly increased after 2019 and is continually expanding. China is the most productive country in this field. Co-authorship analysis shows that inter-national and inter-institutional collaboration should be reinforced. Keyword analysis indicated that geoscience knowledge representation, information extraction, GeoKG construction, and GeoKG-based multi-source data integration were current hotspots. In addition, several important but currently neglected issues, such as the integration of Large Language Models, are highlighted. In order to study the transmission efficiency of engine and optimize the structure of driving wheel, the rotational speed storage test device of driving wheel in tracked vehicle based on magnetoelectric sensor was designed. The device consisted of a mounting bracket, a sensor and a tester. The mounting bracket was installed in vehicle body after fixing the tester and sensor to mounting bracket beside the driving wheel. Using the storage ten instrument, the wireless trigger technology was applied to synchronously record and stored the rotational speed data of the driving wheel in tracked vehicle. After the experiment was finished, the data was read out through the upper computer. Both valid data and satisfactory results were obtained through both simulated and actual vehicle tests. To investigate the effects of antibiotic exposure on the prognosis of patients with advanced metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (m-NSCLC) who received immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). This study retrospectively included 199 patients diagnosed with m-NSCLC in Shandong Cancer Hospital and Institute from December 2017 to October 2021, all patients received ICIs for the first time. The basic clinical characteristics of patients before the first treatment of ICIs, whether antibiotics were used during treatment, progression-free survival (PFS), and overall survival (OS) were collected. The survival among different groups was compared by the Kaplan-Meier method. The median follow-up time of m-NSCLC patients was 33.79 months, mPFS was 11.67 months, and mOS was 21.55 months. Univariate analysis showed that antibiotic use, radiotherapy, and targeted drug resistance influenced PFS and OS (P < 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that antibiotic use, radiotherapy, and targeted resistance remained independent factors of PFS, and targeted resistance was an independent factor of OS (P < 0.05). Subgroup analysis found that antibiotic use within 30 days before and after immunotherapy could decrease the PFS and OS (P < 0.05). Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that patients without radiotherapy had shorter PFS (mPFS, 12.89 vs. 8.13 months; P = 0.0258) and OS (mOS, 26.94 vs. 16.43 months; P = 0.0465). The mPFS (16.17 vs. 9.19 months; P = 0.0151) and mOS (27.27 vs. 18.65 months; P = 0.0437) of patients in the antibiotic group were shorter. Patients in the targeted drug-resistant group had shorter PFS (mPFS, 40.66 vs. 7.77 months, P < 0.001) and OS (mOS, 41.98 vs. 16.89 months, P < 0.001) compared with patients who did not receive targeted treatment. Antibiotics and radiation therapy are associated with the prognosis of m-NSCLC who are newly treated with ICIs. Effectively reducing antibiotic use in 1 month before and after ICIs treatment may help improve the immunotherapy efficacy of patients with m-NSCLC., (Copyright © 2024 The Author(s). To investigate whether transcription of hepatitis B virus (HBV) gene occurs in human sperm, total RNA was extracted from sperm of patients with chronic HBV infection (test-1), from donor sperm transfected with a plasmid containing the full-length HBV genome (test-2), and from nontransfected donor sperm (control), used as the template for reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Positive bands for HBV DNA were observed in the test groups but not in the control. Next, to identify the role of host genes in regulating viral gene transcription in sperm, total RNA was extracted from 2-cell embryos derived from hamster oocytes fertilized in vitro by HBV-transfected (test) or nontransfected (control) human sperm and successively subjected to SMART-PCR, suppression subtractive hybridization, T/A cloning, bacterial amplification, microarray hybridization, sequencing and the Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) search to isolate differentially expressed genes. Twenty-nine sequences showing significant identity to five human gene families were identified, with chorionic somatomammotropin hormone 2 (CSH2), eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4 gamma 2 (EIF4G2), pterin-4 alpha-carbinolamine dehydratase 2 (PCBD2), pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein 4 (PSG4) and titin (TTN) selected to represent target genes. Using real-time quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR), when CSH2 and PCBD2 (or EIF4G2, PSG4 and TTN) were silenced by RNA interference, transcriptional levels of HBV s and x genes significantly decreased (or increased) (P < 0.05). Silencing of a control gene in sperm did not significantly change transcription of HBV s and x genes (P > 0.05). This study provides the first experimental evidence that transcription of HBV genes occurs in human sperm and is regulated by host genes.

The genomic and transcriptomic studies have been greatly accelerated by the next-generation sequencing technology. Currently, there are two main methods in transcriptomic studies, namely, Tiling microarray and RNA-seq. Comparatively, because of its overwhelming superiority in transcript coverage and resolution, as well as decrease of costs, RNA-seq has been employed in transcriptome analyses by an increasing number of research institutes. According to the mRNA enrichment or rRNA depletion methods, RNA-seq can be performed in six ways. Among them, dRNA-seq can descriminate the original transcripts from the processed RNAs based on a differential exonuclease treatment. This kind of method has been broadly applied in studies of prokaryotic transcriptional start sites, small regulatory RNAs, promoters and operons, etc. Here, we reviewed the detailed principle and technical process of dRNA-seq and its applications in prokaryotic transcriptome analyses. Besides, we also summarized the advantages and limitations of dRNA-seq at present stage, and then gave our perspective of its future development and potential applications, expecting to present useful references for civil researchers in related fields.
