On the basis of the previous studies on international competitiveness conducted by the International Institute For Management Development & International Competitiveness Research Group of Renmin University of China, the present study proposed a system of evaluation indexes for international competitiveness of asparagus industry. International competitiveness was evaluated from two aspects of competitiveness assets and process in asparagus industry. It was classified into eight levels for competitiveness involving in environment, factors, industry scale, industry structure, enterprises, products, exports and power of science and technology. Using analytic hierarchy process to reflect a weight of relative importance ranking among elements in each level. The study would promote the development of asparagus industry towards healthy and rapid direction, and also may provide the basis of decision making for the local administration of asparagus cultivation.

Based on the literature review, the technology spillover mechanism can be concluded to four categories: demonstration-imitation effect, competition effect, correlation effect and training-flow effect. The technology spillover is always hysteretic. On the basis of multi-period lagged effect of multinational corporations' technology spillover, the paper used panel data and regression method, analyzed the effect of multinational corporations' patent application or invention patent application on Chinese enterprises' patent output during the lag period of 0-3 years. The results show that the characteristics of multinational corporations' technology spillover are different at different stages. The demonstration-imitation effect and the flow effect of human capital gradually weaken, exhibiting L-shape. The competition effect and the correlation effect first increase and then decrease, exhibiting U-shape.

A dichloromethane extract (DME) of the traditional Chinese medicine Chuanbeipipa dropping pill (CBPP) was obtained. The main bioactive components of the DME were identified and analysed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography/electrospray ionisation quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry. The retention time, mass spectrum, and tandem mass spectrum of the DME were compared with those of reference standards as well as literature data, and fifty-five components were resolved. Fourteen components were confirmed to have effects on cough and asthma. The current study aimed to establish a reliable and effective method for screening the potentially bioactive components of CBPP, report for the first time the basis of CBPP pharmacology, and provide useful information for further studies on the CBPP mechanism of action., Colegio de Farmacéuticos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires

This study was performed to screen α-glucosidase inhibitors from the actinomycete metabolites library by high throughput screening. Twelve strains of actinomycete were considered to be α-glucosidase inhibitors producing strains; then effective inhibitory strain PW409 was fermented and separated by bioactivity based HPLC, two fractions showing remarkable inhibitory activities; the two compounds were identified as 1-deoxynojirimycin (DNJ) and miglitol by mass spectrometry, comparing with authentic standards, and relevant literature. The quantification analysis of DNJ and miglitol by HPLC-MS/MS showed that the average concentrations of DNJ and miglitol in broth of strain PW409 were 11.2 and 95.8 mg/L, respectively. This is the first report about Streptomyces sp. products α-glucosidase inhibitor miglitol. The strain PW409 has potential application in biosynthesis and biotransformation of antidiabetes drug miglitol.
