36. Geochemical Characteristics and Metallogenic Significance of the X03 Vein Tourmaline in the Jiajika Rare Metal Deposit, West Sichuan.

Abstract

The Jiajika rare metal deposit contains the largest area of granitic pegmatite-type rare metal deposits in China. The X03 vein is an immense rare metal deposit dominated by lithium, which was found in the deposit in recent years. The contact metamorphic belt of tourmalinization and petrochemistry is widely developed in its wall rocks, and the altered rocks formed contain Li and other rare metal mineralization. In this paper, the tourmaline found in the different rocks of the Jiajika X03 vein is divided into four types: two-mica quartz schist (Tur-Ⅰ), tourmaline hornfels (Tur-Ⅱ), tourmaline-bearing granite pegmatite (Tur-Ⅲ) and spodumene-bearing granite pegmatite (Tur-Ⅳ); their in situ major element, trace element and boron isotope data are systematically studied. The results show that all tourmalines in the Jiajika X03 vein deposit belong to the alkali group, and are schorl–Oxy/Fluor–schorl, dravite–Hydroxy-dravite and foitite–Oxy foitite solid solutions, among which Tur-Ⅰ are dravite, Tur-Ⅱ are foitite of hydrothermal origin and Tur-Ⅲ and Tur-Ⅳ are schorl of magmatic origin. The boron isotope values show that the boron involved the formation process of tourmaline mainly originates from the Majingzi S-type granite, and the boron isotope variations in tourmaline are controlled by melt fluid and Rayleigh fractionation. Moreover, there is a clear correlation between the B isotope value of tourmaline and the Li, Mn, Zn, Mg, and V contents, showing that these contents in tourmaline are good indicators of the mineralization type of pegmatite. 37. Zircon U-Pb Geochronology and Uranium-Production Capacity of the Taoshan Complex in Southern Jiangxi

Abstract

The Taoshan granite complex located at the North-East part of the Nanling region, hosts the largest granite-related uranuim ore field in China. Baohuashan granite and Huangpi granite are two major components of the Taoshan granite complex. The formation age of Baohuashan granite was in the Indosinian period, which is more closely associated with uranuium ore, however, only individual uranium ore has been found in Baohuashan granite. Huangpi and Daguzhai granites have the same age of (154±2) Ma, but this is in conflict with the field geological phenomena, i.e. Huangpi granite was intruded by Daguzhai granite. High precision techniques of Laser Ablation-Multicollector Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (LA-MC-ICPMS) have been used to re-determine the emplacement age of these two plutons and the method is reported in this paper. The results indicate that Baohuashan granite was formed in the Indosinian era (229.98±0.98) Ma, and the Huangpi granite was formed in the early Yanshanian era (160.9±2.4) Ma. The emplacement age of Huangpi granite is a little earlier than Daguzhai granite, which is more aligned with the geological facts. Combining with previous studies, the magma evolutionary sequence, tectonic environment and uranium-production capacity of Taoshan complex are discussed. The magma evolutionary sequence of Taoshan complex was classified into five main stages, which is composed of Baohuashan granite in Indonisian, Huangpi and Daguzhai granites in early Yanshanian, Luobuli and Caishan granite in late Yanshanian. Granite formed at deferent stage belongs to deferent genesis type. The formation of Indonian and Yanshanian granite in Taoshan complex was speculated to related extension tectonic environment caused by subduction of pacific plate. We pointed out that the genesis type of granite is a primary controlling factor for uranium-production capacity of granites. The Daguzhai granit, which is an S-type granite, has the greatest uranium-production capacity. There is a need for further study to determine the underlying reasons for the genesis type controlling uranium-production capacity of granite.

Abstract

锡石原位微区U-Pb同位素测年，样品制备简单，具有高空间分辨率、高性价比、高效率等显著优势，是锡多金属矿床直接定年的有效手段。然而，基体效应的影响和标样的缺乏是制约该方法发展的关键。本次研究在He做载气以及加入不同辅助气（N2、水蒸气）条件下使用锆石作为外部标准物质对锡石标准和样品进行元素、同位素分馏校准，并采用Tera-Wasserburg图解法和207Pb法对普通铅进行校正。分析结果显示，氮气和水蒸气的引入，可以不同程度的提升Pb、U信号强度；3个不同的锡石标准和样品在He做载气及不同辅助气（N2、水蒸气）条件下获得的Tera-Wasserburg U-Pb下交点年龄及207Pb法普通铅校正后的206Pb/238U加权平均年龄在误差范围内都与文献报道值一致，并未发现明显基体效应的影响，显示采用锆石标准物质对不同类型锡矿床的锡石样品进行原位LA-ICP-MS U-Pb定年是可行的。

Abstract

石榴子石是演化花岗岩常见的重要副矿物之一，但石榴子石地球化学特征如何随岩浆演化而变化是有待探讨的问题之一。雅拉香波片麻岩穹隆发育年龄分别为20.3±0.5Ma和20.1±0.3Ma（锆石U-Pb年龄）的高Sr/Y比二云母花岗岩（TMG）和淡色花岗岩（Grt-LG）。虽然两类花岗岩都含石榴子石，且在形成时代和Sr-Nd同位素组成上相似，但在元素地球化学特征上具有明显的差异，淡色花岗岩和二云母花岗岩分别代表演化程度较高和较原始的岩浆。在同一件样品中，在石榴子石颗粒之间，存在一定程度的微量元素地球化学特征的不均一性，反映了局部熔体地球化学特征。在两类花岗岩中，岩浆型石榴子石具有以下相似的地球化学特征：（1）从核部到边部，Mn和HREE含量降低，表现出典型的生长环带特征；（2）富集HREE，亏损LREE；和（3）显著的Eu负异常。但在关键微量元素Zn、Sc和Y上，具有明显的差异性。在花岗质岩浆演化过程中，贫Fe、Mg和Mn矿物相的分离结晶作用，导致残留熔体的Ca和Sr含量降低，Eu负异常幅度增大，Sc、Zn、Y和HREE增高，是导致淡色花岗岩石榴子石相应元素含量增高的主要原因。上述观测表明：高Sr/Y花岗岩也可以结晶石榴子石，与通常的淡色花岗岩石榴子石相比，这些石榴子石的Sc、Zn和Y含量和Eu异常幅度明显较低。但随分异程度的升高，石榴子石的元素地球化学特征与源自变沉积岩的淡色花岗岩的类似。因此，花岗岩中的石榴子石矿物化学特征变化记录了花岗岩岩浆演化的重要信息。
