The aim of this study was to determine the pattern of individual traits of malocclusion, including sagittal molar relationship, overbite, overjet, crowding, spacing, cross bite, missing tooth, impacted tooth and extra tooth of upper and lower jaws in patients attended in Orthodontic Department of a Tertiary Level Hospital. This cross-sectional study included orthodontic patients who visited the department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in Sapporo Dental College and Hospital from January 2013 to February 2018. Among the study population comprised of 371 patients the females were 57.1% and the males were 42.1%.Among them, 6.7% belonged to 6 to 11 years, 20.5% belonged to 12 to 17 years and the remaining 72.8% were of 18-35 years of age . Angles Class I malocclusion was seen to be the most prevalent (64.2%). In incisor classification, Class I malocclusion was seen to be the most prevalent (38.3%). Increase in overjet, deep overbite, crossbite, crowding and spacing were found in 35.34%, 40.3%, 24.3%, 58.2% and 38.5% of the patients respectively. J Bangladesh Coll Phys Surg 2019; 37(3): 119-123

Due to COVID-19, companies were forced to adopt new work processes, and reduce modern work environments such as collaboration spaces. Professionals from many fields were forced to work remotely, almost overnight. Little is known about the impact of such non-volunteer remote work on productivity, stress, and other key aspects of work performance. To further our understanding of the impacts of this situation and remote work in general, we conducted an exploratory study by studying 28 knowledge work professionals (researchers, software developers, interior designers, service designers, and development consultants) from the viewpoint of perceived productivity and aspects affecting it in this unusual setting. Early results showed the positive influence of self-efficacy and teamwork on productivity during remote work, while no moderating effect of measured physical stress on productivity either through the intrinsic or social factor was present. peerReviewed

An IoT based design for monitoring the quality of supply-water is represented in this paper. The sensor-based circuitry is completely powered up with solar energy which is a sustainable approach as well. Through this designed system using Arduino Mega 2560, different qualitative parameters of water namely, the pH level, turbidity, salinity, arsenic level etc. can be measured by simple modification but for implementation purpose only the pH level and turbidity of water have been measured using sensors. However, the information gathered from the sensors are sent to the cloud server by means of a WiFi module. The collected data is further analyzed, is shown in visual format in LCD and graphical comprehension is demonstrated via ‘ThingSpeak’, a cloud server. The circuit is also modified to control the water pump for decreasing the wastage of water and hence electricity usage. The designed system can be utilized not only to the rooftop tank but also to overhead water tanks for monitoring the quality of water easily and from anywhere in the world through internet.

This article presents the monitoring of water quality by means of wireless sensor technology that is powered by solar energy. The different constituents of water example pH level, turbidity, water level are measured by means of sensors that are powered by solar energy. The information from the sensors are gathered and afterward sent to the cloud server by means of WiFi module. The collected data is further analyzed, shown in visual format in LCD and graphical comprehension is demonstrated via ThingSpeak. In the remote areas, the quality of water is displayed in LCDS. If after analyzing the properties the water quality appears to be negative, necessary steps can be taken.
