The aim of this paper was to draft the entrepreneurship education (EE) at schools in Hungary from EU perspectives. The development of initiative and entrepreneurship skills is a very important task in order to achieve the goal of Lisbon Summit of 2000. The work documents of the programme consider a significant role of education. However, several problems arise in the course of its implementation process. This article outlines the difficulties in the educational policies of Hungary and the effectiveness of EE in Hungary based on of EU surveys.

We studied how the colour agent content of paprika powders changed during storage, using different storage conditions. Different quality Hungarian, Peruvian and Chinese paprika powders were investigated. The initial colour agent content of samples changed between 59 and 219 ASTA unit. The different quality paprika powder samples were stored in fridge, at room temperature using transparent packing and at room temperature packed in tinfoil. The colour agent content of samples was measured through 5 months. The measured values were analysed using ANOVA. The storage condition and storage time influenced the colour agent content decrease significantly in the case of Hungarian, Peruvian and Chinese paprika powder too. The decrease of colour agent content after 5 months was averagely 18% in case of Hungarian powders, the change was significant after 4 months, 25% in case of Chinese powders, the change was significant after 3 months and it was 11% in case of Peruvian powders, the change was significant after 4 months. The reduction of colour agent content was the least in case of samples stored in fridge. It was averagely 6 % for Hungarian, 12% for Chinese and 8 % for Peruvian paprika powders. Abstract Background Epidemiological studies suggested the chemopreventive role of higher calcium intake in colorectal carcinogenesis. We examined genetic polymorphisms that might influence calcium metabolism: lactase (LCT) gene 13910 C/T polymorphism causing lactose intolerance and calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) gene A986S polymorphism as a responsible factor for the altered cellular calcium sensation. Methods 538 Hungarian subjects were studied: 278 patients with colorectal cancer and 260 healthy controls. Median follow-up was 17 months. After genotyping, the relationship between LCT 13910 C/T and CaSR A986S polymorphisms as well as tumor incidence/progression was investigated. Results in patient with colorectal cancer, a significantly higher LCT CC frequency was associated with increased distant disease recurrence (OR = 4.04; 95% CI = 1.71–9.58; p = 0.006). The disease free survival calculated from distant recurrence was reduced for those with LCT CC genotype (log rank test p = 0.008). In case of CaSR A986S polymorphism, the homozygous SS genotype was more frequent in patients than in controls (OR = 4.01; 95% CI = 1.33–12.07; p = 0.014). The number of LCT C and CaSR S risk alleles were correlated with tumor incidence (p = 0.035). The CCSS genotype combination was found only in patients with CRC (p = 0.033). Conclusion LCT 13910 C/T and CaSR A986S polymorphisms may have an impact on the progression and/or incidence of CRC.
