The article examines the problems of applied social and communication aspects of the media literacy development in future teachers. The research involved such methods as sociological analysis, the reproductive method, the pedagogical experiment, testing, survey, as well as the method of dialectical research. The results of testing and surveying students showed the need to improve the applied social and communication aspects of the media literacy development in future specialists. The main ways to improve the media literacy development in future teachers were identified based on the results of testing and surveying students, namely: create special learning environments, involve students in project activities, organize student interactions with all participants in the learning process, etc. In the future, compliance with such recommendations will expand the dialogue needed between teachers and students, and increase awareness of future professionals features and skills of media literacy. As a result, it will allow future professionals to become aware of their responsibilities and obligations to society. Background: Antipsychotics are indispensable in the treatment of severe mental illneses, however adverse metabolic effects including diabetes, weight gain, dyslipidemia, and related cardiovascular morbidity are common, and current pharmacological strategies for their management are unsatisfactory. Glucagon-like 1 peptide receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) are approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity hold promise for the management of antipsychotic-associated adverse metabolic effects. Methods: To characterize the molecular effects and identify biomarkers for GLP-1 RA preventive treatment, Sprague-Dawley female rats were treated with long-acting formulations of the antipsychotic olanzapine and the GLP-1 RA dulaglutide for 8 days. A pair-feeding protocol evaluated the combined effects of dulaglutide and food restriction on an olanzapine-induced metabolic phenotype. Body weight and food consumption were recorded. Biochemical analysis included a lipid profile, a spectrum of gastrointestinal and adipose tissue-derived hormones, and fibroblast growth factor 21 serum levels. Results: Olanzapine induced hyperphagia, weight gain, increased serum triglycerides and HDL cholesterol. Food restriction affected the OLA-induced phenotype but not serum markers. Dulaglutide led to a modest decrease in food intake, with no effect on weight gain, and did not reverse the OLA-induced changes in serum lipid parameters. Concomitant dulaglutide and food restriction resulted in weight loss, decreased feed efficiency, and lower total and HDL cholesterol. Conclusions: A combined strategy of dulaglutide and food restriction manifested a massive synergistic benefit. GLP-1RAs represent a promising strategy and deserve thorough future research. Our findings underline the potential importance of lifestyle intervention in addition to GLP-1 RA treatment.

The Colorado potato beetle (CPB; Leptinotarsa decemlineata) is an important potato pest with known resistance to pyrethroids and organophosphates in Czechia. Decreased efficacy of neonicotinoids has been observed in last decade. After the restriction of using chlorpyrifos, thiacloprid and thiamethoxam by EU regulation, growers seek for information about the resistance of CPB to used insecticides and recommended antiresistant strategies. The development of CPB resistance to selected insecticides was evaluated in bioassays in 69 local populations from Czechia in 2017-2022 and in 2007-2022 in small plot experiments in Zabcice in South Moravia. The mortality in each subpopulation in the bioassays was evaluated at the field-recommended rates of insecticides to estimate the 50% and 90% lethal concentrations (LC50 and LC90, respectively). High levels of CPB resistance to lambda-cyhalothrin and chlorpyrifos were demonstrated throughout Czechia, without significant changes between years and regions. The average mortality after application of the field-recommended rate of lambda-cyhalothrin was influenced by temperature before larvae were sampled for bioassays and decreased with increasing temperature in June. Downwards trends in the LC90 values of chlorpyrifos and the average mortality after application of the field-recommended rate of acetamiprid in the bioassay were recorded over a 6-year period. The baseline LC50 value (with 95% confidence limit) of 0.04 mg/L of chlorantraniliprole was established for Czech populations of CPBs for the purpose of resistance monitoring in the next years. Widespread resistance to pyrethroids, organophosphates and neonicotinoids was demonstrated, and changes in anti-resistant strategies to control CPBs were discussed.

Досліджено сучасний стан податкоспроможності об’єднаних територіальних громад у контексті регіональної асиметрії соціально-економічного розвитку. Проаналізовано стан регіональної асиметрії в Україні за макроекономічними та бюджетними показниками: валовий регіональний продукт на одну особу, заробітна плата одного штатного працівника, частка офіційних трансфертів у доходах зведеного бюджету області, питова вага валового регіонального продукту, що перерозподіляється через податки зведеного бюджету області. Визначено, що в дореформенний період (2013—2014 роки) в Україні відбувався соціально-економічний розвиток регіонів з ознаками регіональної асиметрії за розміром валового регіонального продукту на одну особу та частки офіційних трансфертів у доходах зведених бюджетів областей. Заробітна плата у регіонах, надходження від оподаткування якої покладено в основу визначення податкоспроможності регіонів, варіювалася на рівні, що дозволяє стверджувати про однорідність регіонів за цією ознакою. Детально проаналізовано регіональну асиметрію податкоспроможності об’єднаних територіальних громад за такими ознаками: середній індекс податкоспроможності об’єднаних територіальних громад області; темп росту податкоспроможності об’єднаних територіальних громад області; ступінь диференціації податкоспроможності об’єднаних територіальних громад у межах регіону. Доведено, що високий рівень податкоспроможності об’єднаних територіальних громад з одночасним зменшенням його приросту визначено у Полтавській та Дніпропетровській областях. Частину областей Центрального і Північно-Східного регіонів визначено як трансформаційні області, в яких індекс податкоспроможності об’єднаних територіальних громад демонструє позитивну динаміку і застосовування різних видів горизонтального вирівнювання; Західного і Південного регіонів — областей, у яких низький рівень податкоспроможності з позитивною динамікою. Обгрунтовано та емпірично доведено наявність прямого і сильного зв’язку між валовим регіональним продуктом і податкоспроможністю об’єднаних територіальних громад у межах регіону.

Consumer neuro-science is a new field in marketing, which aims to predict the consumer behaviour and to obtain information about feelings and preferences based on the physiological changes. We can objectively reveal our inexplicable behaviour to which we are not able to answer using a questionnaire in the traditional market research. An accurate measurement enables marketers to compare the response during research, such as the impact moments associated with a particular product or brand, how they react to different marketing stimuli. The paper aims to assess the current possibilities of the interdisciplinary examination of wines as well as to identify new opportunities for the current utilization of the knowledge of modern research methods. The research was conducted by measuring the electrical activity of the brain through the electroencephalography (EEG) and the software platform for analysing facial expressions. The research objective was the recognition of consumer emotions during the tasting of eight kinds of blank samples of wine. Using the interdisciplinary research, we identified facial expressions (happiness, sadness, disgust, neutral emotions, anger and surprise) that were captured immediately after tasting each type of test wines and the electrical activity in the brain based on which we have identified the valence of consumers. The achieved results confirm that neuro-marketing can be a useful tool that will help manufacturers and sellers to offer products that truly and not only in appearance satisfy customers. Ideally, this should lead to more a satisfied and better functioning market supply and demand and market positioning.
