Live streaming has become the hottest marketing method for apparel brands nowadays. E-commerce anchors, as the core of live marketing, have an important role in influencing consumers' impulse purchase intention. However, the research on clothing brand anchor characteristics on consumers' impulse purchase intention based on live-streaming anchor characteristics has yet to be explored in related studies. The article uses consumer trust and attitude as mediating variables, and the cognitive-affective system as an analytical framework. All variables are tested by validated factor analysis, and FsQCA to analyze the grouping of anchor characteristics (attractiveness, popularity, professionalism, interactivity, and brand fit) in apparel live streaming marketing. The article discovers seven configurations that triggered consumers' high impulse purchase intention and five configurations of non-high impulse purchase intention. The findings indicate that (a) all dimensions of anchor characteristics have a significant effect on consumers' impulse purchase intention, in which the effect of popularity is most significant; (b) consumers' trust has a mediating effect between anchors' attractiveness, popularity, interactivity, brand fit, and impulse purchase intentions; (c) consumers' trust and consumers' attitude have a chain-mediated effect between popularity, brand fit, and impulse purchase intention. The results of the research will help clothing anchors to further understand consumers' information needs and perceived preferences, and provide references to improve the quality of live streaming.

To further explore the quasi-static mechanical characteristics of composite solid propellants at low strain rates, an investigation was conducted on the mechanical behavior and damage mechanisms of a four-component hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) propellant by means of experiments and numerical simulation. A uniaxial tensile test and scanning electron microscope (SEM) characterization experiment were carried out. A microstructural model, which accurately represents the mesoscopic structure, was developed via the integration of micro-CT scanning and image-processing techniques. The constructed microstructural model was utilized to conduct a numerical simulation of the mechanical behavior. The experimental results demonstrated that the maximum tensile strength increases with increasing strain rate, and the primary cause of propellant failure at low strain rates is the dewetting phenomenon occurring at the interface between the larger particles and the matrix. The maximum tensile strength is 0.48 MPa when the strain rate is 0.00119 s−1, and the maximum tensile strength is 0.37 MPa when the strain rate is 0.000119 s−1. The simulation results indicated a consistent trend in variation when comparing the simulation and experimental curves. This suggested that the established model exhibits a high level of reliability, and provides a promising approach for carrying out microstructural simulations of heterogeneous propellants in future. The mechanical behavior of the propellant can be effectively described by utilizing a mesoscopic finite element model that incorporates the superelastic constitutive model of the matrix and the bilinear cohesive model. This framework facilitates the representation of mesoscopic damage evolution, which consequently provides insights into the damage mechanism. Additionally, the utilization of such models assists in compensating for the limitations of damage evolution characterization experiments.

Ethylene–propylene–diene monomer (EPDM) composites were usually enhanced with ablative additives to protect solid rocket motor (SRMs) casings. However, the poor thermal insulation caused by the high thermal conductive ablative fillers can lead to rocket motor failure. Herein, the novel EPDM composites containing alternating layers of ablative EPDM (AM) and heat-insulated EPDM (HM) were prepared through layer-multiplying extrusion. Compared with conventional EPDM ablative material, the multilayer composites showed enhanced thermal insulation and mechanical properties that could be further improved by tuning the number of layers. The ablation and thermal insulation properties possessing in AM and HM layers could be combined by forced assembly during co-extrusion, and the alternating multilayer composite was capable of showing the effect of each component. In particular, compared with AM, the maximum back-face temperature with 40 alternating layers of AM/HM decreased from 96.2 °C to 75.6 °C during oxyacetylene test, while the good ablation properties were preserved in the AM component. This significant improvement was attributed to the planar orientation and densification of ablative additives, and the interruption of conductive pathways in the through-plane direction of AM/HM alternating laminate. The anisotropic EPDM composites featuring mechanical robustness, good ablative resistance and thermal insulation suggest considerable potential application in the aerospace industry.

The consumer use phase of textiles and fashion contributes one-third to the carbon and water footprint, which is the highest for the life cycle assessment technique. However, it is only estimated by questionnaire or estimated data. We carried out a 180-day direct data tracking for three volunteer families with different demographic characteristics. The results show that consumer behaviors significantly influence the carbon and water scarcity footprint. Moreover, the uncertainty between the test data and the energy label estimated data is revealed. For family 1, the energy label-based electricity consumption carbon footprint is 0.57 kgCO2e, while the empirical data result is 2.79 kgCO2e. We proposed an improved carbon footprint evaluation method with the correction parameters, which can be estimated using the sampling data from the customers. Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) foams have received considerable attention owing to their low weight, low thermal conductivity, and mechanical flexibility. However, their poor ablative resistance and low thermal stability make their use in severe conditions, such as the combustion chamber of a solid rocket motor, difficult. In this study, EPDM foams reinforced with aramid fibers (AFs) and carbon fibers (CFs) are prepared through a hot-pressing-induced foaming process. The effects of the fibers on the cellular structure, thermal stability, and mechanical, ablating, and insulating properties of the EPDM foams are investigated. The results show that the addition of CFs enhanced the thermal stability and mechanical properties of the EPDM foams, whereas the use of AFs lowered the thermal conductivity and ablation rate. In particular, when 2.5 phr (parts per hundred parts of rubber) AF and 2.5 phr CF are added, the linear ablation rate tested using oxyacetylene is 0.33 mm s-1, and the back-face temperature is 53 °C, revealing a good balance in terms of ablative resistance and thermal insulation. Thus, the hybrid-fiber-reinforced EPDM foams possess several advantages, such as low weight, good thermal insulation, ablative resistance, and mechanical robustness, suggesting considerable potential for application in the aerospace industry. With the development of Internet technology, increasing numbers of people would like to have clothes that are customized to meet their personalization requirements. The purpose of this study is to explore how visual-audio merchandising elements affect consumers' impulsive purchase intentions in apparel e-customization. There are five dimensions to visual-audio merchandising elements, i.e. the perceived visual-audio of environmental atmosphere, the perceived visual of apparel attributes, the perceived visual-audio of apparel presentation effects, the perceived visual of fashion information, and the perceived visual of service information. Supported by the stimulus-organism-response model, a theoretical model is constructed with positive emotion as the mediating variable. The exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and mediating effect test are adopted to analyze 361 valid datasets. The application and feedback are conducted as well. The findings indicate that (a) visual-audio merchandising elements, perceived visual-audio of environmental atmosphere, perceived visual of apparel attributes, perceived visual of fashion information, and perceived visual of service information positively influence impulsive purchase intentions; (b) perceived visual-audio of apparel presentation effects have no direct significant effect on impulsive purchase intentions; (c) visual-audio merchandising elements, perceived visual-audio of environmental atmosphere, perceived visual of apparel attributes, perceived visual-audio of apparel presentation effects, perceived visual of fashion information, and perceived visual of service information positively influence positive emotion; (d) positive emotion positively influences impulsive purchase intentions; and (e) positive emotion mediates the relationship between visual-audio merchandising elements and impulsive purchase intentions. The quality of technology and service should be considered by brand managers.
