Abstract

Scaffold fabrication methods have a vital role in cartilage tissue engineering (CTE). For a long time, extracellular matrix (ECM) derivatives have been used to improve chondrogenesis and cartilage regeneration. In this study, polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffolds were prepared by 3D-printing and salt-leaching methods. Then, the prepared scaffolds were coated with fibrin and different acellular solubilised ECM concentrations. Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) were added to fibrin/ECM hydrogel and seeded on the PCL scaffolds. Results showed that water absorption and compressive moduli of the 3D-printed scaffolds were higher than salt-leached scaffolds. As ECM was added and concentration increased, porosity was decreased and water uptake increased significantly. 3D-printed scaffolds with ECM2% group demonstrated a high compressive modulus and cell viability. Therefore, we concluded 2% is the most suitable concentration for acellular solubilised ECM in order to fabricate more biocompatible and applicable PCL/fibrin/ECM scaffolds in CTE. Abstract

Computers promise that be as a repository of knowledge and wisdom, but instead, they sent us large amounts of data, web mining is the process of information discovery and knowledge from the Web data. The data is collected from the server, client, proxy server or database in Web mining. Web mining methods are divided into three categories: web content mining, web structure mining and web usage mining. There are several functional areas including e-commerce web mining, text mining, and management of customer behavior. Web mining research focuses on developing knowledge extraction techniques which are used for data analysis. 3 main methods that are used for data mining in web include: association or association rules, sequential patterns, and clustering requirements. The main objective of the web mining is to collect information about the user navigation patterns. Of course, web mining is faced with various challenges and constraints. And many researches are currently doing research in the field of web mining that aim to solve this problem.

Abstract

Social networks can include anything ranging from family, friends, classes, objects and other similar cases, important and effective members, members of exception, the formation of such networks can be discovered by using the relationships between the members of the network which are important to business and research works, to achieve these cases , social networks should be analyzed using special tools. Social network analysis tools generally includes two packaged based on graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and packages made for programming / scripting. These tools are powerful and extensible and are able to analyze big data networks and visualize networks, isolated or central data and other important data can be simply discovered by data visualization. In this paper, some of the most important tools of social network analysis are presented and compared according to some their capabilities.

Abstract

Investors and creditors expect that the performance of the firms, which they invested in them, proceed according to their expected conditions and their performance evaluation of the firms based on their type and size. Because of owners and shareholders multiplicity, direct monitoring on firm performance is not possible by shareholders, but this group can only receive benefit from performance evaluation from the firm. Therefore it is logical that by creating firm evaluation mechanisms they are up to maintane their benefit. This research studies the effect of firm size on its efficiency in the firms of Tehran Stock Exchange during 2007 to 2011 with the sample of 75 firms. For this purpose, the Data Envelopment Analysis technique has been used as the firms efficiency evaluation criteria and the amount of firm sale determined as the firm size. The results revealed a significant inverse relationship between efficiency and the size of firm.

Abstract

Smart cities are an important concept for urban development. This concept addresses many current critical urban problems including traffic and environmental pollution. As utilization of the Internet of things and technology in smart cities increases, large volumes of big data are generated and collected by sensors embedded at different places in the city, which present a real-time display of what is happening throughout the city at all times. Such data should be processed and analyzed as a response to ensure effectiveness and improvement in quality of provided services; correct use and analysis of such data is valuable. Big data mining is the most effective method for analyzing such data. In this paper, aiming to increase speed and accuracy in predicting real levels of air pollution, its location, and effects of weather conditions on density of air pollution, a K-means clustering algorithm using the Mahout library is used as a big data mining tool on datasets of a city pulse project. Results of this study show that temperature, low air pressure, relative increase in moisture, and wind speed are causes of low pollution density at the cleanest point of the city. The SSE evaluation metric shows the high speed of this clustering method for big data, and results obtained from employing RMSE = 0.632 and MSE = 0.488 statistical measures indicate the high efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method in predicting air pollution. Debido a la multiplicidad de propietarios y accionistas no es posible un control directo por parte de estos sobre el rendimiento de las empresas, y tan sólo reciben reportes de evaluación del rendimiento por parte de la propia empresa. Por lo tanto, resulta lógica la creación de mecanismos de evaluación de cara al mantenimiento de su beneficio. Este trabajo estudia el efecto del tamaño de la empresa en la eficiencia en las empresas en la bolsa de valores de Teherán durante el período 2007 - 2011 con un muestreo de 75 empresas. Para ello, se ha utilizado la Técnica del Análisis Envolvente de Datos como criterio de evaluación del rendimiento de las empresas y el volumen de venta en relación al tamaño de la empresa. Los resultados revelaron una relación inversa significativa entre la eficiencia y el tamaño de la empresa.
