This project will examine the differences between MDS data and explicit categorizations of the race/ethnicity of Kamala Harris. We will also examine whether or not individual categorizations and psychological representations of Kamala Harris vary based on political affiliation, reported prejudice, and other individual difference variables.

This study will explore whether arguments presented in the form of personal narratives or numerical evidence are more effective at producing long-term attitude change. Participants will complete a pre-test of their attitudes on Covid-19 vaccinations as well as measures of individual differences. They will then be presented with our manipulation and have their attitudes reassessed immediately after as well as one week later.
