Manajemen atau administrasi perkantoran adalah bagian dari manajemen tetapi memiliki karakteristik dan ilmu yang berbeda dari manajemen pada umumnya. Akan tetapi, hingga saat ini masih banyak yang tidak dapat membedakan antara ilmu manajemen dan manajemen perkantoran di mana manajemen perkantoran hanya dianggap sebagai clerical work. Sehingga, terdapat beberapa kasus yang menandai adanya kebingungan atau ketidaksinkronan antara Program Studi di bidang manajemen dan di bidang manajemen perkantoran. Oleh karena itu, kebutuhan untuk dapat mengidentifikasi ilmu manajemen perkantoran terbilang darurat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi ilmu manajemen perkantoran dilihat dari pendekatan filsafat ilmu: epistemologi, ontologi, dan aksiologi. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan instrumen Focus Group Discussion dengan panelis yang memiliki pengalaman dan kompetensi dalam ilmu manajemen perkantoran di dunia akademik dan dunia pekerjaan atau industry. Hasil dari studi ini adalah terciptanya model kerangka ilmu manajemen perkantoran dilihat dari unsur epistemologi, ontologi, dan aksiologi.

Web application firewall is a highly effective application in protecting the application layer and database layer of websites from attack access. This paper proposes a new web application firewall deploying method based on Dynamic Web application profiling (DWAP) analysis technique. This is a method to deploy a firewall based on analyzing website access data. DWAP is improved to integrate deeply into the structure of the website to increase the compatibility of the anomaly detection system into each website, thereby improving the ability to detect abnormal requests. To improve the compatibility of the web application firewall with protected objects, the proposed system consists of two parts with the main tasks are: i) Detect abnormal access in web application (WA) access; ii) Semi-automatic update the attack data to the abnormal access detection system during WA access. This new method is applicable in real-time detection systems where updating of new attack data is essential since web attacks are increasingly complex and sophisticated.

Tea production is considered the key sector in Thai Nguyen Province for its provision of livelihood to 40% of rural households. The province is also best known for its traditional green teas with a century history. Based on the primary data collected through field surveys and key informant interviews in Thai Nguyen city and Dai Tu district, the analysis of Thai Nguyen’s tea value chain was done by segments and key players. Thai Nguyen’s tea is mainly consumed domestically while tea in Vietnam in general is intended more for export. Results of the analysis showed significant differences in gaining profits among key players. In particular, tea growers with certified production earned more than those with non-certified farming practices. Better profits were also concentrated in the group of Kinh farmers and tea growers in Thai Nguyen City or in tea growing households with higher education levels and with production and/or market linkages. Lower profits from exports of tea materials and the decrease in export volumes in recent years would imply weak competitiveness of Thai Nguyen’s tea exports, which was mainly attributed to nonstandardized farming practices, small-scale production and non-rigorous control of food hygiene and safety. In order to improve the tea value chain in the international market, it is necessary to develop a quality-focused strategy for tea products in Thai-Nguyen province, improve the social recognition of GAP-certified households producing tea and provide incentives for GAP-adoption and renewal of certification, increase investment in irrigation infrastructure, provide adequate R&D funding for the diversification of tea products and development of environment-friendly packaging materials, plan and establish a processing cluster for tea products, and coordinate and support enterprises to provide updated market information and trade promotion for tea products.
