Study Design Controlled laboratory study. Purpose This study aimed to evaluate the in vitro pharmacological activity of growth factors (GFs) in freeze-dried platelet-rich plasma (FD-PRP) after storage for 4 weeks. Overview of Literature Freshly prepared PRP is a rich source of many GFs. We reported that FD-PRP stored for 8 weeks accelerated bone union in a rat posterolateral fusion model equally well as fresh-PRP. However, the pharmacological activity of FD-PRP after long-term storage has not been shown in vitro. Methods Immediately after preparation, as well as 4 weeks after freeze-dried storage, the platelet count was measured. Human osteoblasts were treated with fresh-PRP and FD-PRP, respectively. Western blotting was used to assess the phosphorylation of the platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) receptor (PDGFR) and its downstream target, extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK). The proliferation rates of osteoblasts were investigated by immunocytochemistry and MTT cell viability assays. Furthermore, we used western blotting to evaluate the effect of PDGFR knockdown on the phosphorylation of ERK stimulated with fresh-PRP and FD-PRP. Results Platelet counts in both the fresh-PRP and FD-PRP samples were approximately 10-fold higher than in peripheral blood samples. The phosphorylation and activation of the PDGFR and ERK were evenly induced by fresh-PRP and FD-PRP stimulation. Both freshPRP and FD-PRP significantly induced osteoblast proliferation in MTT cell viability assays. Furthermore, osteoblast PDGFR knockdown attenuated the downstream ERK activation by fresh PRP and FD-PRP. Conclusions We demonstrated the pharmacological activity of PDGF in FD-PRP in vitro after 4 weeks of storage.

Introduction: Leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) is known to demonstrate a very poor prognosis. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the prognostic factors in LM cases diagnosed by spinal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 19 patients with LM detected by spinal MRI between 2010 and 2017. Results: The primary tumors were breast carcinoma (n = 7), lung carcinoma (n = 6), lymphoma (n = 3), colorectal carcinoma (n = 2), and gastric carcinoma (n = 1). Thirteen patients exhibited preceding brain metastasis, and 11 of these exhibited metastasis in the posterior fossa. Ten patients exhibited limb paralysis. Performance status at diagnosis was 0-1 in 6 patients, 2 in 9 patients, and 3-4 in 4 patients. Testing of cerebrospinal fluid revealed malignant cells in 9 patients. On MRI, 11 patients demonstrated disseminated tumor lesions at the cervical cord level, 15 patients at the thoracic cord level, and 11 patients below the conus level. Eleven patients received radiation therapy, while intrathecal chemotherapy was performed in 9 patients. Univariate analysis revealed cervical cord level lesions, intrathecal chemotherapy, paralysis, and performance status as prognostic factors. Multivariate analysis identified existence of a cervical cord lesion as associated with a poor prognosis (hazards ratio (HR) 3.46, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.12-12.2), while administration of intrathecal chemotherapy was associated with a good prognosis (HR 0.15, 95% CI 0.026-0.67). Conclusions: In LM patients, cervical cord level lesions are a negative factor for prognosis, and performance of intrathecal chemotherapy is a positive factor for prognosis.

Abstract Background Giant cell tumor is known to be a benign neoplasm that arises most commonly in the long bones, while cases in the spine are rare. Recently, denosumab, a monoclonal antibody that inhibits receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappa β ligand, has been used to treat patients with giant cell tumor. However, there are few reports of total en bloc spondylectomy being used for paravertebral giant cell tumor lesions following denosumab therapy. Case presentation Our patient was a 20-year-old Japanese woman with a 4-month history of lower back pain. A spinal computed tomography scan and magnetic resonance imaging of her lumbar spine revealed an osteolytic lesion involving the L3 vertebral body, and the tumor extended toward the left side of the paravertebral soft tissue and into the left pedicle. The lesion was diagnosed as a giant cell tumor by needle biopsy. Denosumab treatment calcified the paravertebral giant cell tumor lesion and the tumor vertebral body was removed completely by total en bloc spondylectomy. Conclusion This case report describes a patient with a paravertebral giant cell tumor who was successfully treated by preoperative denosumab injection followed by total en bloc spondylectomy.

Advanced gastric cancer with bone metastasis has a very poor prognosis with short median survival. To the best of our knowledge, no reports in literature have described extensive recovery of paralysis with multimodality treatment without surgery in these cases. This report describes the case of a 52-year-old severely paralyzed female patient with spinal metastasis from advanced gastric cancer. She was inoperable, owing to a large thrombus in the inferior vena cava; alternative multimodality treatments, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, were administered. The paralysis and the bladder and rectal dysfunction improved considerably. In addition, the performance status (PS) and Frankel grade also improved dramatically, from 4 to 1 and grade B to D, respectively. At 1 year after initiation of treatment, she is ambulatory. Patients with poor PS are often offered palliative therapy. However, this case demonstrates that poor PS solely due to paralysis from spinal metastasis may necessitate multimodality treatment instead of palliative care.

Desmoplastic fibroma of the bone (DFB) is a notably rare, lytic, locally aggressive but nonmetastatic, primary benign bone tumor in patients less than 30 years old. As the recommended primary treatment for DFB, wide resection is preferred to curettage from the perspective of recurrence but wide resection of DFB in the pelvis such as in the acetabulum could result in greater functional loss, suggesting the need for conservative treatments. However, there is no report on long-term follow-up following conservative treatment for DFB. The present case involved a 21-year-old woman with right hip pain. Radiological evaluation revealed a massive lesion throughout the right ilium and acetabulum with partial osteolysis, cortical destruction, marginal sclerosis, slight pseudotrabeculation, and bone expansion. Open biopsy from the ilium showed the proliferation of spindle cells in an abundant collagenous matrix without atypia and mitosis, suggesting a diagnosis of DFB. Conservative treatment was selected considering the risk of greater functional loss following wide ilium resection. An evaluation 10 years after follow-up showed a partially sclerotic lesion of the ilium and the absence of pain. The current case demonstrates that conservative therapy may be effective even in some cases of aggressive DFB.

Synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, and osteitis (SAPHO) syndrome is a rare inflammatory disorder with multiple phenotypes. The syndrome has identifiable radiologic characteristics that are the most important when making a diagnosis. X-rays of cases diagnosed with SAPHO syndrome reveal sclerotic lesions or mixed lytic and sclerotic lesions. Pure osteolytic lesions in SAPHO syndrome are rare, and to the best of our knowledge, no study has reported the radiologic change of purely osteolytic lesions to osteosclerotic lesions over time. Herein, we report on the case of a woman experiencing severe left thigh acute pain and having a medical history of palmoplantar pustulosis. Although SAPHO syndrome was suspected because of palmoplantar pustulosis, based on radiologic findings, bone metastasis of a malignant tumor or chronic bacterial osteomyelitis owing to a purely osteolytic lesion was suspected. However, needle biopsy revealed no malignancy and bacterial culture was negative, thus suggesting SAPHO syndrome. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, bisphosphonates, and corticosteroids were administered, which improved the left thigh pain. Furthermore, the radiologic change of osteolytic lesions to osteosclerotic lesions over time was confirmed, leading to the diagnosis of SAPHO syndrome. Our case demonstrates that knowledge of atypical radiologic findings is necessary to diagnose initial SAPHO syndrome.

Undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) is a high-grade, aggressive, soft tissue sarcoma that is often fatal. Although there are reports describing associations of sarcoma and skin lesions such as burns, radiation, and trauma, to our knowledge, UPS development in a keloid scar has not been reported. Herein, we present the case of a 76-year-old woman who had undergone surgery for endometrial cancer, 5 years before. She presented with a protruding lesion that was continuous to a keloid scar on the abdominal wall. The tumor appeared clinically malignant as it was protruding and doubled in size within three weeks, reaching approximately 6 × 6 × 2 cm. Since the tumor was diagnosed as UPS after pathological evaluation by needle biopsy, wide resection was performed. Intraoperatively, the tumor was apparently continuous to the keloid, protruding and pedunculated outside the body, and had not invaded the abdominal cavity. Histopathological examination of the resected tumor showed evidence of UPS and no suspicion of metastasis of endometrial cancer. No recurrence, metastases, or other complications were noted 6 months after surgery. The current case study reminds us that keloids may cause high-grade sarcoma such as UPS, and careful follow-up is required.

Recently, several quantitative MRI techniques have been developed; T2 mapping can be used to evaluate hydration and collagen fiber integrity within cartilaginous tissue, and T1ρ mapping can be used to evaluate hydration and proteoglycan content.MethodsUsing New Zealand White rabbits, annular punctures of the IVD were made 10 times at L2/3, 5 times at L3/4, and one time at L4/5 using an 18-gauge needle (n=6) or a 21-gauge needle (n=6). At 4 and 8 weeks post-surgery, MRI was performed including T1ρ and T2 mapping. The degree of IVD degeneration was macroscopically assessed using the Thompson grading system. Study DesignRetrospective case series.PurposeTo examine the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for bone fusion in transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) using local bone grafting.Overview of LiteratureSeveral authors have reported the efficacy of PRP for bone union in animal models. However, the use of PRP for bone fusion in TLIF surgery has not been fully explored.MethodsTwenty patients underwent single-level TLIF surgery because of L4 spondylolisthesis. An interbody fusion cage and local bone were used in nine patients (control group) and an interbody fusion cage, local bone, and PRP were used in 11 patients (PRP group). PRP was prepared from the patients' blood samples (400 mL) immediately before surgery. The duration of bone union and postoperative bone fusion rate were assessed using plain radiography at every 3 months postoperatively and computed tomography at 12 or 24 months postoperatively, respectively. Lower back pain, leg pain, and leg numbness were evaluated using the visual analog scale preoperatively and at 3, 6, 12, and 24 months postoperatively.ResultsThe platelet count was 8.7 times higher in PRP than in blood. The bone union rate was significantly superior in the PRP group than in the control group (91% and 77%, respectively; p=0.035), whereas the average duration of bone union was not significantly different between the groups (7.7±0.74 and 10.0±2.00 months, respectively; p=0.131). There was no significant difference in lower back pain, leg pain, and leg numbness in both groups during follow-up (p>0.05).ConclusionsOur study suggests that the use of PRP in TLIF surgery increases bone fusion rate.

Abstract Background Nerve growth factor (NGF) is not only an important factor in nerve growth but also a major contributor to the production of inflammation. It has been reported that inhibiting NGF could reduce several types of pain in several animal models. Here, we aimed to clarify the efficacy of NGF antibody in a knee osteoarthritis (OA) pain model in mice. Method Six-week-old male C57BR/J mice were used (n = 30). Ten mice comprised the control group, which received saline injection into the right knee joints; the other 20 mice comprised the experimental group, which received monoiodoacetate (MIA) injection into the right knee joints. Three weeks after surgery, the 20 experimental mice were randomly placed into treatment groups which received either sterile saline (non-treat group: 10 mg/kg, i.p.) or an anti-NGF antibody (anti-NGF group: 10 mg/kg, i.p.). Simultaneously, all mice received fluorogold (FG) retrograde neurotracer injection into their right joints. In a behavioral study, we evaluated gait using the CatWalk quantitative gait analysis system before surgery, 3 weeks after surgery (before treatment), 4 weeks after surgery (one week after surgery), and 5 weeks after surgery (2 weeks after surgery). In immunohistochemical analysis, the right dorsal root ganglia (DRGs) from the L4–L6 levels were resected 5 weeks after surgery (2 weeks after surgery). Study DesignControlled laboratory study.PurposeThis study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) stored at room temperature (RT), frozen, or after freeze-drying.Overview of LiteraturePRP enriches tissue repair and regeneration, and is a novel treatment option for musculoskeletal pathologies. However, whether biological activity is preserved during PRP storage remains uncertain.MethodsPRP was prepared from blood of 12 healthy human volunteers (200 mL/person) and stored using three methods: PRP was stored at RT with shaking, PRP was frozen and stored at −80℃, or PRP was freeze-dried and stored at RT. Platelet counts and growth factor content were examined immediately after preparation, as well as 2, 4, and 8 weeks after storage. Platelet activation rate was quantified by flow cytometry.ResultsPlatelet counts were impossible to determine in many RT samples after 2 weeks, but they remained at constant levels in frozen and freeze-dried samples, even after 8 weeks of storage. Flow cytometry showed approximately 80% activation of the platelets regardless of storage conditions. Almost no growth factors were detected in the RT samples after 8 weeks, while low but significant expression was detected in the frozen and freeze-dried PRP. Nodular fasciitis (NF) is a benign reactive proliferation of myofibroblasts that predominantly occurs subcutaneously. Commonly, it presents as a rapidly growing swelling in 4-8 weeks. NF mostly occurs in adults aged 20-50 years and usually has a diameter4 cm is rare. Owing to its rapidly growing nature, a precise clinical diagnosis is difficult; it is frequently misdiagnosed as an aggressive or malignant tumor. Herein, we present the case of a 15-year-old male who presented with a large protruding mass on the anterior chest wall. The tumor appeared clinically malignant as it was protruding and had doubled in size within a few weeks, reaching approximately 8×6 cm. Furthermore, the tumor separated and fell off spontaneously due to its large size. As the remaining tumor continued to grow rapidly, surgery was performed. Following wide tumor resection, no recurrence, metastases, or other complications were noted 1 year postsurgery. NF was diagnosed after pathological evaluation, including immunohistochemical analysis, molecular genetic testing, and cytogenetic testing via fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis. Knowledge of the atypical clinical course and a combination of histopathological examinations are necessary to accurately diagnose NF.

Dermatofibromas are common benign fibrohistiocytic lesions, usually appearing as slow growing firm dermal nodules with a predilection for the extremities (mostly the lower legs). They are found mostly in middle-aged women and are usually smaller than 2 cm in diameter. Giant dermatofibromas exceeding 5 cm in diameter are rare. In recent years, reports have suggested a relationship between the primary size of dermatofibromas and rates of local recurrence and metastases after surgery. This relationship is however debated. The present report describes the case of a giant muscle invasive tumor in a 51-year-old female patient who presented with a large ulcerated mass in the right upper arm. The tumor appeared clinically malignant, measuring approximately 12 cm × 6 cm in size, with ulceration and invasion of surrounding muscle. Wide resection of the tumor was performed with myocutaneous flap-plasty. Histopathological examination showed evidence of a dermatofibroma. No recurrence, metastases, or other complications were noted at 5 years after surgery. The present case demonstrates that although dermatofibromas are essentially benign, they may present with atypical features including large size, ulceration, and muscle invasion, clinically mimicking malignant tumors.

Study DesignRetrospective case series.PurposeTo classify back muscle degeneration using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and investigate its relationship with back pain after surgery.Overview of LiteratureBack muscle injury and degeneration often occurs after posterior lumbar surgery, and the degeneration may be a cause of back pain. However, the relationship between back muscle degeneration and back pain remains controversial.MethodsA total of 84 patients (average age, 65.1 years; 38 men, 46 women) with lumbar spinal stenosis underwent posterior decompression surgery alone. MRI (1.5 tesla) was evaluated before and more than a year after surgery in all patients. Muscle on MRI was classified into three categories: low intensity in T1-weighted imaging, high intensity in T2-weighted imaging (type 1), high intensity in both T1- and T2-weighted images (type 2), and low intensity in both T1- and T2-weighted imaging (type 3). The prevalence of the types and their relationship with back pain (determined on a visual analog scale) were evaluated.ResultsMRI revealed muscle degeneration in all patients after surgery (type 1, 6%; type 2, 82%; and type 3, 12%). Type 2 was significantly more frequent compared with types 1 and 3 (p0.05).ConclusionsVarious pathologies of back muscle degeneration after posterior lumbar surgery were revealed. Type 2 (fatty) change was most frequent, and other patients had type 3 (scar) or type 1 (inflammation or water-like) changes. According to the Modic classification of bone marrow changes, Modic type 1 change is associated with inflammation and back pain. However, no particular type of back muscle degeneration was correlated with back pain after surgery.

A 43-year-old male patient with C5 giant cell tumor (GCT) underwent tumor resection and anterior bone fusion of C4–C6. The tumor recurred locally 9 months after surgery with the patient complaining of neck and shoulder pain similar to his preoperative symptoms. Denosumab was administered and his pain disappeared after a two-month administration, with a sclerotic rim formation seen at the tumor site on computed tomography. He has been followed for 18 months with no evidence of tumor recurrence. Complete resection is generally recommended, but is not easy for many patients with cervical GCT because of the existence of neurovascular structures. Some patients suffer from recurrence and treatment becomes more difficult. As such, denosumab may be an efficacious option for treatment of recurrent GCT of the cervical spine, although long-term follow-up is required to monitor for presence or absence of recurrence.

Study DesignProspective case series.PurposeTo examine the clinical efficacy of mini-open anterior retroperitoneal lumbar interbody fusion: oblique lateral interbody fusion (OLIF) for degenerated lumbar spinal kyphoscoliosis.Overview of LiteratureThe existing surgical procedures for the treatment of spinal kyphotic deformity, including Smith-Petersen osteotomy, pedicle subtraction osteotomy, and vertebral column resection procedures, are invasive in nature. In the current study, we aimed to evaluate the efficacy of PainVision for the assessment of low back pain.MethodsWe assessed 89 patients with low back pain. The numeric rating scale (NRS) score, McGill Pain Questionnaire (MPQ) score and the degree of pain calculated by PainVision were measured twice at 4-week intervals in each patient. Spinal metastasis of differentiated thyroid cancer can have a favorable prognosis if radical surgery is performed. We encountered a case of spinal metastasis involving three anterior vertebral bodies at the posterior element fusion level and successfully achieved adequate stability by radical surgery involving only the anterior elements. A 67-year-old woman who had numbness and muscle weakness in the lower limbs caused by metastatic spinal tumor at the posterior element fusion level of L1–L3 vertebrae was treated with radical surgery of only the anterior element to gain stability. Similar situations may occur in cases involving other malignant tumor metastases or spinal primary tumors. If such a case occurs, this method could be useful in preventing metastasis to the posterior element.

Study DesignProspective study.PurposeTo examine the long-term effects of interspinous ligament injections of local anesthetics and steroids for the treatment of Baastrup's diseases.Overview of LiteratureBaastrup's disease is associated with axial low back pains. Baastrup's disease has been more recently described as the "kissing spinous processes" disease. Several authors have reported methods for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. However, there has been only one report of patients receiving interspinous ligament injections of agents for the treatment of Baastrup's disease.MethodsSeventeen patients showed severe low back pains between spinous processes at L3-L4 or L4-L5. X-ray imaging, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging revealed kissing spinous processes, consolidation of spinous process, or inflammation of an interspinous ligament. Pain reliefs after lidocaine and dexamethasone administration into interspinous ligament as therapy for low back pains were being examined and followed up.ResultsLow back pain scores significantly improved immediately after injection of the agents into interspinous ligaments. At final follow-up (1.4 year), low back pain scores significantly improved as compared with before the treatment.ConclusionsFindings from the current study indicate that lidocaine and dexamethasone administration into interspinous ligament in patients diagnosed with Baastrup's disease is effective for managing the pain associated with this disease.

Abstract Background Meniscal injuries are a risk factor for osteoarthritis (OA). While a mechanical pathway between meniscal injury and OA has been described, the biological effects of inflammation on this pathway have yet to be clarified. The aim of our study was to compare levels of specific inflammatory mediators, tumor necrosis factor‐alpha (TNF‐α), interleukin‐6 (IL‐6), and nerve growth factor (NGF), in injured and uninjured meniscal tissue and related knee joint synovium. Methods Tissue samples were obtained from 19 patients, 31.1 ± 13.6 years old, who underwent arthroscopic partial meniscectomy. For analysis, tissue samples were categorized into the following groups: injured meniscal site (IM), non‐injured meniscal site (NIM), synovium ‘nearest’ the lesion (NS), and synovium from the opposite knee compartment, ‘farthest’ synovium (FS). Clavicula pro humero (CPH) reconstruction is a method that is used after proximal humeral excision. During CPH reconstruction, the ipsilateral clavicle is rotated downward and connected to the preserved distal humerus by using plates and screws. This method is frequently used for reconstruction surgeries involving young patients and has positive outcomes. In this study, we describe two cases of CPH reconstruction that were performed on elderly individuals after wide resection of the proximal humerus; postoperative results from these surgeries were satisfactory. The average Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS) functional score after surgery was 68.5%, indicating that CPH reconstruction is suitable for not only younger but also elderly patients, particularly those over the age of 65 years.

We investigated the efficacy of pregabalin (PGB) for neuropathic leg pain in lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) patients with disturbed activities of daily living (ADL)/quality of life (QOL) in a prospective observational study. Subjects were a total of 104 LSS patients with neuropathic pain (NeP) in leg and neurological intermittent claudication (IMC) refractory to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for at least a month. NeP was identified using screening tool, Pain DETECT questionnaire. We present a rare case of delayed onset of epidural hematoma after lumbar surgery whose only presenting symptom was vesicorectal disturbance. A 68-year-old man with degenerative spinal stenosis underwent lumbar decompression and instrumented posterolateral spine fusion. The day after his discharge following an unremarkable postoperative course, he presented to the emergency room complaining of difficulty in urination. An MRI revealed an epidural fluid collection causing compression of the thecal sac. The fluid was evacuated, revealing a postoperative hematoma. After removal of the hematoma, his symptoms disappeared immediately, and his urinary function completely recovered. Most reports have characterized postoperative epidural hematoma as occurring early after operation and accompanied with neurological deficits. But it can happen even two weeks after spinal surgery with no pain. Surgeons thus may need to follow up patients for at least a few weeks because some complications, such as epidural hematomas, could take that long to manifest themselves.

Introduction. Spinal scoliosis and kyphosis in elderly people sometimes cause severe low back pain. Surgical methods such as osteotomy are useful for correcting the deformity. However, complications during and after surgery are associated with the osteotomy procedure. In particular, it is difficult to manage deformity correction surgery for patients with Parkinson's disease. Here, we present two cases of combined anterior and posterior surgery for deformity in patients with adult scoliosis and kyphosis due to Parkinson's disease. Case Presentation. Two 70-year-old women had spinal scoliosis and kyphosis due to Parkinson's disease. They had severe low back pain, and conservative treatment was not effective for the pain. Surgery was planned to correct the deformity in both patients. We performed combined posterior and anterior correction surgery. At first, posterior fusions were performed from T4 to the ilium using pedicle screws. Next, cages and autograft from the iliac crest were used in anterior lumbar surgery. The patients became symptom free after surgery. Bony fusion was observed 12 months after surgery. Conclusions. Combined posterior and anterior fusion surgery is effective for patients who show scoliosis and kyphosis deformity, and symptomatic low back pain due to Parkinson's disease.

Background/Aim: Chemoresistance in rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is associated with poor survival, necessitating the development of novel anticancer drugs. Auranofin (AUR), an anti-rheumatic drug, is a thioredoxin reductase (TXNRD) inhibitor with anticancer properties. Although patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models are essential for studying cancer biology, reports on sarcomas using the PDX model are scarce because of their rarity. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of AUR treatment in RMS using a PDX model to evaluate its impact on local progression. Materials and Methods: A 20-year-old woman who was diagnosed with alveolar RMS was used to generate the PDX model. RMS PDX tumors were implanted in nude mice and divided into non-treated (vehicle) and treated (AUR) groups. Tumor volume and weight were evaluated, and immunohistochemical staining was performed to evaluate local progression of the sarcoma. The relationship between the TXNRD-1 expression and survival probability of patients with RMS was evaluated using publicly available expression cohorts. Results: AUR significantly suppressed RMS tumor progression over time. It also significantly suppressed the tumor size and weight at the time of excision. Histological evaluation showed that AUR induced oxidative stress in the PDX mouse models and inhibited the local progression of RMS by inducing apoptosis. High TXNRD-1 expression was found to be a negative prognostic factor for overall survival in patients with RMS. Conclusion: AURinduced inhibition of TXNRDs can significantly impede the local progression of RMS through the oxidative stressapoptosis pathway as demonstrated in PDX models. Thus, targeting TXNRD inhibition may be a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of RMS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
