Electrical energy is a very vital energy and plays an important role in the development of human technology. Almost all devices in the world use electrical energy as a source of energy. Indonesia is a country that has a large enough water energy potential of around 75,650 MW, 6% of which has been developed in various forms of research, especially in locations outside the islands of Java and Bali in the form of utilizing river water as a Pico Hydro Power Plant (PLTPH) to meet the needs of electrical energy in remote and remote areas. The design of this PLTPH prototype aims to analyze the output voltage generated by the generator which is influenced by the flow of water in the system which has been equipped with sensors monitoring current, voltage, rpm and water discharge which then the results can be seen in real time through the LCD screen. In this test, it is also known that the water discharge affects the output voltage produced by the generator, the greater the water discharge, the greater the output voltage.

The Wakatobi Islands are one of the national priority tourist destinations in the 2020-2024 Medium Term Development Plan (RPJM), but the level of transportation services is not yet adequate. The physical condition of the area in the form of an archipelago is one of the obstacles in transportation services besides the limited accessibility of transportation, the availability of facilities and infrastructure to support tourism and human resources. The purpose of this study was to determine public satisfaction with the level of transportation services in Kabupaten Wakatobi. The analysis method used is the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) using seven indicators of transportation services, namely network connectivity, intermodal integration, travel time, travel costs, comfort, safety, and security. Based on the CSI analysis, it was found that the public satisfaction score was 52.73% which was included in the sufficient category with a value range of 50% to 80%. The IPA results state that the most important indicators to be improved are travel costs, comfort, intermodal integration, and travel time.

The spectrum efficiency in fourth-generation (4G) i.e. orthogonal frequency division multiplxing (OFDM) systems has become a major problem at this time due to the increasing need for communication bandwidth. This efficiency is reduced due to the high out-of-band emission (OoBE) that exist. As one of the candidates that still has the potential to be used in the fifth generation (5G) signal modulation method, this paper aims to make observations by out of band emission simulation on a multi carrier filter bank (FBMC). This paper illustrated facets of the 5G with FBMC modulation scheme. To illustrate it, 24 sub-carriers were simulated with each sub-carrier spaced 15 kHz, later the power spectral density of the FBMC signal is plotted. The MATLAB simulation results with the 256-QAM order indicated that FBMC is more advantageous than OFDM because it offers higher spectral efficiency with a difference of 130 dBW/Hz. In other words, this system offers low out of band emission. Previously, an illustration of the FBMC prototype was also shown.

The development of technology can be seen from the increasing number of industries that are standing and especially industries that produce air-conditioning machines such as Air Conditioner (AC), Air Cooler and Chiller. As the name implies, AC has a function to condition the air in a room so that it feels cool, comfortable, and healthy. In operation, AC requires electricity, and almost all of its main components require electricity so that the cost of using flow electricity is the benchmark in efforts to save energy. At the tool and system design stage, an overall tool design is carried out to form a miniature air-conditioning system using a Peltier Thermoelectric. The purpose of designing this tool is to produce a tool that functions to cool a room, so that the temperature in the room is cool and maintained, with the performance of Peltier TEC1-12706 and also heatsink as a channel for cold air through fans indoor and outdoor, and displaying temperature. In testing the system there is a slight difference from the measurements of the results with the component datasheet. On the results of the power test on the 12 V.10A adapter without load, the average output is 12.11 V, not pure at 12 V because the voltage displayed on the AVO meter has an average difference of 0.92%. Whereas in the measurement of power by load, that is, with an average load of 12.05V because the voltage displayed on the AVO meter has a difference and the voltage already has a load and has an average error of 0.41%. The existence of this error is because the current entering the adapter is also unstable.

Road performance is the ability of a road to serve traffic flow which can be determined by its capacity, free-flow speed, and degree of saturation. The performance problem of Jalan Otto Iskandar Dinata (Otista) Bandung, which is located in an office and trade area, occurs due to high side activity, namely on-street parking marked by congestion. Analysis conducted using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014) to the traffic data collected on weekdays and weekends. This research tries to find a solution by eliminated on-street parking. The existing condition shows the volume on weekend at noon at 3242 pcu/hr, side friction is classified as very high with the proportion of on-street parking at 76%, spoot speed of 12 km/hr, the free flow speed of 36.89 km/hr, a capacity that occurs is 3324 pcu/hr, and degree of saturation is 0.98 with the level of service E. The road performance improvement scenario is carried out by setting on-street parking which gives the free flow speed value greater than the existing condition, class of side friction becomes very low, increased capacity, degree of saturation below 0.85 as determined by PKJI 2014 by improving the level of service to C.

A smart antenna is an array of antennas with signal processing capabilities to transmit/receive information in an adaptive manner. This capability continues to be investigated to find the best adaptive algorithm for the desired beamforming capability. This paper aims to provide a study and analysis of the effect of the normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm on step size parameter settings which have an impact on the desired minimum square error (MSE) value and on the nulling beam radiation pattern arrangement of smart antennas in its role in mitigating interference. The simulation for beamformer performance for 1000 iterations was carried out using the Matlab tool on the additional white noise gaussian (AWGN) channel and the simulation parameters were changed to some step size values (μ) with the NLMS algorithm for 16 antenna elements. The effect of the value of the step size μ is seen in the iterations number that takes place before the minimum error noise is obtained, where the increase in the value of this step size reduces the iterations number required; at the same time further improving MSE levels. From the pattern of amplitude response after the beamforming process, the result is an escalation in the number of nulling to increase the distance between the spaced elements taken. The interference source is eliminated/closed by placing the nulls in the path of the interference source where the worst interference level is obtained around -90 dB when the smallest step size is taken.

Unsignalized intersection between Jalan Sukajadi, Jalan Sukawangi, Jalan Sindang Sirna is a strategic intersection in Bandung as the main access to the North Bandung area (Ledeng and surrounding areas). The intersection is often congested, especially at peak hours. This research tried to find a solution by exercising two scenarios, i.e. scenario (1) eliminating the main conflict and scenario (2) applying Traffic Signal (APILL). Analysis conducted using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014) to the traffic data collected in peak hours of three workdays, i.e. morning peak, noon peak, and afternoon peak at December 2018. The existing condition shows the degree of saturation (DJ) value of 1.31, delay (T) about 153.93 sec/pcu, a potency of queuing (PA) about 70.71 to 46.7%, and level of service at F. Scenario (1) gives a DJ value smaller than the existing condition, T remains, PA becomes bigger and the level of service still in F. Scenario (2) results in a DJ value below 0.85, T and PA gets smaller, and service level increased to level C. In accordance to the simulation results, it recommended to apply traffic signal (APILL) on the intersection to relieve the congestion.

The current application of technology has played a large role in human activities, especially in industry. One of the technologies applied is an automatic filling and packaging system for cooking oil using a filling machine. The application of cooking oil packaging technology using modern machines is usually carried out in the large-scale cooking oil industry. However, the packaging for bulk cooking oil which is common in traditional markets that are classified as a small scale still uses the conventional method of measuring and packaging it. To improve the quality of bulk cooking oil sales and answer this problem, we need a tool that can fill the oil with an adjustable number of measures as needed and has high accuracy and can be run automatically. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, this type of qualitative descriptive research displays the results of the data as they are without any manipulation or other treatment processes. The overall results of the work system design of this tool discuss the results of the automatic oil filling system and the sending of oil expenditure data to the Antares ID webserver. The resulting delay value is still below the normal limit, which is around 1-2 seconds. The deviation that occurs is in the ratio 0.11 and the percent error is in the range of 0.2%.

The multi-story building construction project was carried out according to the schedule at the time of the initial session’s work. There was a delay in the agreement for the receipt of land which caused work to be delayed. The researcher’s aim is to find out the work time using the Critical Path Method (CPM) method, in this analysis the time from the acceleration of the duration obtained from the CPM, so that in analyzing the estimated normal and up-normal costs of labor wages and the estimated amount of the budget due to the acceleration of implementation time. By making direct observations, and interviewing project team members, the data obtained are used to base analysis. Based on the results of the data obtained and analyzed using CPM. The results of the normal duration of work with the CPM method produce 119 working days, the results of the acceleration of the time done by the CPM method obtained 104 working days. Therefore, using labor analysis, the total cost of normal labor costs is IDR 30,901,500.00 and the total up-normal costs of labor costs are IDR 26,037,000.00. So the results of the analysis, save labor costs of Rp.4,864,500.00. Thus, the total normal cost budget is Rp. 1,337,999,697.00 and the total up-normal cost budget is Rp. 1,333,135,197.00.
