Background The extent to which vaccinated persons diagnosed with COVID-19 can transmit to other vaccinated and unvaccinated persons is unclear. Methods Using data from the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), this report describes outcomes of household contact tracing during January 29–July 2, 2021, where fully vaccinated COVID-19 patients were the index case in the household. Results Among 248 fully vaccinated patients with breakthrough infections, 203 (82%) were symptomatic and 105 were identified as the index patient within their household. Among 179 named household contacts, 71 (40%) contacts tested, over half (56%) were fully vaccinated and the secondary attack rate was 28%. Overall transmission from a symptomatic fully vaccinated patient with breakthrough infection to household contacts was suspected in 14 of 105 (13%) of households. Viral genomic sequencing of samples from 44% of fully vaccinated patients showed that 82% of those sequenced were infected by a variant of concern or interest, and 77% by a variant carrying mutation(s) associated with resistance to neutralizing antibodies. Conclusions Transmission from fully vaccinated symptomatic index patients to vaccinated and unvaccinated household contacts can occur. Indoor face masking and timely testing of all household contacts should be considered when a household member receives a positive test result in order to identify and interrupt transmission chains.

Understanding how species can coexistence in light of competition has long been a focus of ecological study. One of the many mechanisms that have been proposed to explain how species with overlapping niches can coexist is that they differ in their behavioral patterns. In our study we investigated how rodents in the genera Dipodomys and Peromyscus partition their habitat spatially and how their behaviors differ. To test for behavioral differences and spatial habitat partitioning in these species we monitored animals using traps and wildlife cameras and mapped their habitat use in space. We found that Peromyscus displayed risk averse strategies in their foraging and habitat use whereas Dipodomys displayed more variability in their movements and were more likely to take risks. These interspecific patterns help us to better understand community ecology as a whole, and can have broad implications for the structure of communities in sensitive desert habitats., CEC Research Volume 1, Issue 2

La realización de dicho proyecto se basa en la propuesta de aplicación del e-commerce e e-business teniendo en cuenta los diversos aspectos de Branding para la empresa Angelino Pastelería y Repostería. Para pasar a la empresa dicha propuesta hay que evidenciar el origen de estas dos herramientas de comercio electrónico (e-commerce, e-business) analizar en qué están basadas, su concepto, la innovación que tienen y el uso que las empresas del siglo XXI le están dando; enseñándole gran variedad de referentes teóricos y una amplia bibliografía, la cual sustenta la importancia y crecimiento de las mismas, soportando así mismo la propuesta. Teniendo en cuenta, que alrededor de los conceptos que maneja la propuesta, se encuentra principalmente las TIC, el Branding, las redes sociales, las páginas web y los correos electrónicos; mencionando la importancia, origen y vínculo que tienen con respecto a las herramientas de comercio y negocio en línea. The making of this project is based on the application of e-commerce (electronic commerce) and e-business (electronic business) proposals for Angelino Pastelería y Repostería Company, taking into account the several Branding aspects. To present the company this proposal, it is necessary to show the origin of these two electronic tools (e-commerce and e-business), it’s also important to analyze in which concepts they are based on, their definitions, the development they have and what kind of importance and use these e-tools are giving to the XXI century enterprises. Showing a great variety of theoretical sources and a huge bibliography which sustain the importance and growing of these previously mentioned tools, and in that way, supporting the proposal. En las últimas décadas el Burnout ha sido una patología de impulso investigativo por su amplia presencia y foco de manifestación en el área laboral, con la llegada del Covid-19 a los profesionales de la salud se les atribuye una serie de estresores dentro de las cuales se puede mencionar como, la asignación de tareas administrativas y técnicas distintas de las habituales, falta de adecuada capacitación, dilemas éticos y morales asociados a la restricción o falta de recursos, aumento de las expectativas de la población respecto de la capacidad sanitaria, discriminación social por temor al contagio, presión de los medios de comunicación, los cuales son precipitantes para generar sintomatologías de depresión ansiedad y afección emocional contribuyendo a la aparición del síndrome de Burnout. De tal forma, en la presente investigación se pueden analizar sesgos en las repuestas entre los criterios a analizar del síndrome como lo es la despersonalización, cansancio emocional, realización personal, ya que estos datos se presentan tanto dispersos como agrupados, lo cual permite ofrecer información base para próximas investigaciones académicas visualizando la presencia del agotamiento mental, emocional y físico en personal de enfermería expuestos en el periodo de pandemia en la ciudad de Ibagué Tolima. In recent decades the Burnout has been a pathology of research impulse for its wide presence and focus of manifestation in the area of work, exposing a series of symptomatologies that by their holistic origin within the activities of the individual open debates about their genesis and their precipitating factors and/or environments. However, burnout has now been recognized by WHO as an occupational disease. In this way, in the present research we can analyze biases in the responses between the criteria to analyze the syndrome such as depersonalization, emotional fatigue, personal fulfillment, since these data are presented both dispersed and grouped, providing background information for further academic research by visualizing the presence of mental, emotional and physical exhaustion in nursing personnel exposed during the pandemic period in the city of Ibague Tolima.
