Technological development connects the world and becomes the basis for digitalizing finance and boosting the economy. Investment is useful for protecting investors from inflation, planning for the future economy, increasing wealth, and providing convenience in emergency needs. This study aims to analyze legal protection, the problem, and the consequences of law enforcement toward corporations. This study used the library research method. This study used a normative juridical approach which means that the study concerns norms, legislation, and court decisions related to legal protection for victims of illegal investment. The result of the study showed that the court has provided legal protection but it has not been able to meet the aspect of justice. Indonesia faced some problems in enforcing the law and maximizing the function of government institutions. This is proven by the great power to deceive using current developments. Besides, the results reveal that the court gave punishment as the result of the law enforcement to the corporation such as company dissolution and compensation payment to the victim.

EFL classes are offered at the secondary school level in Indonesia. To ensure the success of the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom, educators in the field must use effective pedagogical practices. Assessing teachers' performance in the classroom can have far-reaching implications on the quality of education in the classroom. A useful strategy is to analyze the pupils' perspectives. Research was therefore done to detail which techniques students found useful and which they found less, as well as the reasons behind these judgments. Twenty-nine college students participated in this study via a systematic random sampling strategy. Focus group discussion (FGD) was used to collect data, which was then analyzed descriptively using a qualitative methodology. First, the analysis revealed that (1) students viewed the Communicative Method, Cooperative Learning, the Competency-Based approach, and Community Language Learning as effective strategies for teaching and learning languages. While the Lecturing Method, the Grammar-Translation Method, the Direct Method, and the Task-Based Method are all considered inefficient. (2) The strategies that students found useful and those that they found ineffective. (3) Three distinct senses will recognize an efficient strategy. These include studying outside the class, reviewing material from the previous session, and repeating it before moving on to the new one.

Perlunya mempersiapkan generasi muda dalam mengembangkan pariwisata di Misool Raja Ampat melalui penguasaan Bahasa Inggris menjadi urgensi pelaksanaan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini. Selain itu, dengan penguasaan Bahasa Inggris tentunya generasi muda akan mampu menunjukkan kualitas dan kekhasan daerahnya lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Mengingat, masih kurangnya keterampilan Bahasa Inggris siswa SMP Negeri 18 Raja Ampat yang berlokasi di Misool dan belum adanya metode yang tepat yang dinyatakan oleh kepala sekolah yang bisa membuat mereka lebih mampu mempersiapkan generaasi muda yang natabenenya sering mendampingi turis yang berkunjung ke daerah mereka. Maka pelatihan Bahasa Inggris Dasar melalui English Camp perlu dilakukan. Berdasar pada penglaman pengabdi dalam melaksanakan English Camp, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan percakapan Bahasa Inggris dasar 100 % peserta kegiatan stingkat lebih baik dari sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan. Selain itu, PKM ini juga menghasilkan satu modul untuk diserahkan kepada sekolah yang menjadikan sekolah mampu mengadopsi kegiatan yang dilakukan secara mandiri sebagai bagian dari keberlanjutan program.

Areca nut or Areca catechu L is a plant that has many benefits, one of which is that it can be used as medicine. There are secondary metabolite compounds in betel nut. The presence of this secondary metabolite content makes the betel nut skin a high potential as a bioreductant to synthesize silver nanoparticles as an antibacterial. The process of synthesizing silver nanoparticles is carried out with the addition of a stabilizer in the form of Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The analysis results obtained using the UV-Vis instrument have wavelengths with variations in the addition of 1%, 3% and 5% PVA, respectively, are 448 nm, 456 nm and 460 nm. In the results of the analysis using XRD, the value of 2θ is silver nanoparticles (PVA 1%): 38,020; 43,930 ; 64,320 ; 77,270. silver nanoparticles (PVA 3%): 38,230; 44,270 ; 64,610 ; 77,500. And silver nanoparticles (PVA 5%) are 38,100 ; 44,240 ; 64,460 ; 77,370. For analysis using SEM, the particle size obtained with the help of the Imegej and OriginLab 8.5 applications, namely at AgNPS + PVA 1% is 28 nm - 31 nm. Agnps + PVA 3% ranged from 26 nm – 29 nm. And Agnps + PVA 5% has a size of 19 nm – 22 nm. For the results of FTIR data, the specific absorption peaks of Ag nanoparticles are located at frequencies of 412.23 cm-1, 453.57 cm-1, and 476.84 cm-1. Then in the antibacterial test, silver nanoparticles were used with the addition of 5% PVA. The size of the clear zone obtained in the test for E. coli bacteria is 11.2 mm and for S. Aureus it is 13 mm

The rapid growth of the palm oil industry in Indonesia has made it the world's largest palm oil producer. However, this progress comes with a challenge as the industry generates Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME), which poses an environmental threat if directly discharged into the environment. POME contains high concentrations of organic compounds that can be harnessed to produce energy in biogas through anaerobic treatment processes. This study aims to develop an efficient POME biogas production technique for large-scale power generation. The biogas production process with a capacity of 675.38 Kg/batch, 51,9 tonnes/year, and economic evaluation were simulated using SuperPro Designer v13.0. Biogas production from POME involves a series of stages employing anaerobic microorganisms for organic material decomposition, including hydrolysis, acidogenesis, acetogenesis, and methanogenesis. The simulation results indicate that the plant can produce biogas with a composition of 86.228% methane, 1.507% water, 0.059% hydrogen, 0.016% hydrogen sulfide, and 1.959% carbon dioxide within a batch time of 114 hours. The economic feasibility simulation resulted in a Net Present Value (NPV) of $553,000, Internal Return Rate (IRR) of 19.3%, and Payback Period (PBP) of 4.22 years. Those results confirm the viability of these projects.

World energy consumption continues to escalate annually in line with current world development. Meeting this burgeoning demand necessitates the exploration of renewable energy. Biofuel is one of the promising alternatives for renewable energy sources. However, biofuel has a disadvantage in its lower overall performance than fossil fuel. The application of additives such as ethyl levulinate emerges as a potential solution to enhance biofuel performance. This research aims to investigate the effect of ethanol:water ratio and reaction time on the formation of ethyl levulinate from Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch (OPEFB). The OPEFB to be utilized was pretreated with 3% NaOH at a solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:8. The reaction was conducted at 120oC, with varying ethanol:water ratio and reaction time in the presence of H2SO4 as the catalyst. The reaction products were extracted using ethanol and analyzed with gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. The optimum reaction conditions obtained were 90 minutes and ethanol:water ratio of 99.1:0.9, resulting in a yield of 1.01%.

Carbonated calcium hydroxyapatite (CHAp) exhibits excellent biocompatibility with bone and teeth, making it an ideal candidate for orthopedic and dental application. However, the study of CHAp synthesis from natural material is still scarce. The purpose of this research is to synthesize and characterize of CHAp, using Rebon shrimp (Acetes erythraeus) as a calcium source. The synthesis was conducted by hydrothermal method with the variation of Ca/P ratios 1.61; 1.67; 1.73. The as-prepared CHAp was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX). The FT-IR results show that synthesized material exhibited characteristic CHAp band of hydroxide at 3448 and 1635 cm-1, carbonate at 872 and 1427 cm-1, and phosphate at 1049; 606; and 570 cm-1. The diffractogram pattern assigned the all observed peak of CHAp are in good agreement compared to CHAp database with the nano-scale size. It also observed that the high Ca/P ratio will decrease the crystallinity of CHAp. The as-prepared CHAp micrograph is agglomerates spherical form with size between 5-20 nm which build up from 18–26 nm crystallite particles. The result of this research confirmed that Rebon shrimp is the promising materials for calcium source in CHAp production.

Ecoprint is a technique for printing colors and shapes on fabric using natural materials. Ecoprint techniques have been introduced to junior high school students because they can capture the material and teacher's instructions independently, think critically and creatively. The purpose of the ecoprint introduction activity is to provide knowledge about ecoprint and students' skills in utilizing local potential through natural materials or plants around the school. The methods used are lectures, demonstrations, practice, and evaluation. The questionnaires and direct observations on ecoprint products were used as evaluations for this activity. Students have been able to print motifs and colors from leaves and flowers on a cloth to produce ecoprint products according to their respective creativity.

Artisanal small-scale gold mining (ASCGM) has caused mercury contamination. However, efforts to decontaminate mercury from the ex-mining soils are still rare. This study aims to synthesize quaternary ammonium silica functionalized magnetite (Fe3O4/SAK) as a low price, highly available, and quickly separated adsorbent for mercury decontamination from ex-mining soils samples. The synthesis of Fe3O4/SAK and the mercury decontamination process was carried out by the co-precipitation and batch type reactor procedure, respectively. The Fourier Transform-Infra Red (FT-IR) characterization of synthesized Fe3O4/SAK informed the appearance of siloxane, silanol, methyl, methylene, and Fe-O functional groups. Crystal analysis by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) showed that the typical peaks of SiO2 and Fe3O4 were emerged at 2θ 22.8˚ and 35.52˚, respectively. Morphological studies and elemental analysis using Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-Ray (SEM-EDX) indicated the successful functionalization Fe3O4 by SAK in the transformation of surface morphology and composition of the main elements, namely C, O, Si, and Fe. The results of characterization using Surface Area Analyzer (SAA) showed that the surface area and pore diameters were 224.98 m2/g and 36.149-38.70 Å, respectively. The optimum results for adsorbing Hg22+ metal ions were obtained at pH 4.0, and the adsorbent mass was 0.1 g. The Fe3O4/SAK has been proven to be an easily separable adsorbent after the mercury decontamination process in ex-mining soil samples with an adsorption efficiency of 43.36% (0.722 mg/g).

Asphyxia and Intrauterine fetal dead (IUFD) are a threat if a premature rupture of membranes is not immediately treated quickly and appropriately. Neonatal asphyxia can occur due to complications from premature rupture of membranes. IMR in Indonesia is the fifth country for ASEAN countries, 35/1000 birth. Based on data from RA Kartini Hospital in Jepara, asphyxia cases from approximately (12,6%) and incidence of premature rupture of membranes 816 cases or around (85,8%). While the incidence of neonatal asphyxia born from PROM totalled 15 cases or about (1,6%). This research using quantitative descriptive methods with cross-sectional design. This research was conducted on April 21-23, 2020 using a total sampling method of 148 respondents. The data used are secondary data with a single variable, namely the incidence of neonatal asphyxia in mothers with maternity premature rupture of membranes. Data analysis uses a descriptive statical test. Aims to know the description of the incidence of neonatal asphyxia in mothers with maternity premature rupture of membranes in General Hospital of Raden Ajeng Kartini Jepara 2019 and describe the incidence of neonatal asphyxia in mothers with maternity premature rupture of membranes in General Hospital Raden Ajeng Kartini Jepara 2019. The result showed that of 148 respondents on average had no risk age (20-35 years) as many as 120 respondents (81,1%) and the average parity PROM mothers as many as 148 respondents had multiparous parity of 85 respondents (57,4%). Then from 148 PROM mothers, 6 respondents (4,1%) gave birth to babies who had asphyxia. The highest incidence of neonatal asphyxia in mothers with maternity premature rupture of membranes was mild asphyxia of 3 respondents (2,0%), moderate to severe asphyxia of 2 respondents (1,4) and moderate asphyxia of 1 respondent (0,7%). The average degree of asphyxia in women with premature rupture of membranes is mild asphyxia.

The purpose of this writing is to describe the development of innovative characteristics of the 21st century in confidence material in SMK Negeri 1 Adiwerna using a problem based learning model. Innovative learning in schools is a learning strategy that emphasizes the delivery of learning materials to students. This writing is motivated by demands in the 21st century that education should be able to produce human resources that are able to master the 21st century including, critical thinking, communicative, creteif and collaborative. The development of 21st century skills can be done by all disciplines, one of which is in guidance and counseling learning, educators can use problem based learning models. The method used in this writing is by studying literature by reviewing some literature for analysis and conclusions. The results of this paper conclude that problem-based learning models can be a solution in improving the innovative characteristics of the 21st century and confidence and motivate students to be more active and encouraged in their learning success.

Land purchase binding agreement in practice is often made in the form of an authentic deed before a Notary, so that the Deed of Sale and Purchase Agreement is an authentic act that has the strength of evidence is perfect. It is intended by the parties to further provide protection and legal certainty for the parties to make. Because notaries in making an act impartially and safeguard the interests of the parties objectively. With the help of the notary of the parties make binding sale and purchase agreement will get help in formulating the things that will be agreed upon. The method used in this research is normative juridical approach to literature. Legal protection of the fulfillment of the rights of the parties where one party is in default under the agreement binding sale and purchase is dependent upon the strength of the agreement binding sale and purchase is made, that if made by deed under the hands of the protection in accordance with the protection of the deed under the hand, whereas if it is made by or in the presence of a Notary, the account will automatically become a notary deed so that the protection is in accordance with the power of protection against authentic deeds.

The research objective is to create a model for regulation of construction obligations as a form of legal protection against Indonesian capital market investors based on dignity justice which is a new strategy for strengthening the role of government in the regulation of the obligation yield. The resulting model in this study in particular has a purpose as an offer or alternative solutions both a legislative function in the realm of the executive and Parliament to produce a obligation regulation. The method that will be used through the stages include: mapping existing condition of construction which has been used, the mapping of potential executives (leading sector) and the Council, evaluating regulations that have been produced so far, identify and evaluate the constraints faced in stage construction policy , identify opportunities and strategies and formulate a model of construction that can be developed, p enekanan in order construction regulations do executive and Parliament in order to generate regulatory-based justice and legal certainty

"Troso" woven fabric is a kind of weaving fabric produced in a village in Indonesia called "Troso." The aim of this study was to identify the detailed process of manufacture of "Troso" woven fabric and reconstruct it related to several scientific concepts. Research method started by observe several local cultures in this city, and found that students can better understand the science concept and increase their environmental awareness when it is exemplified by circumstances in their surrounding environment. The results of Troso woven fabric reconstruction can be used as a contextual alternative learning resource and increase students' awareness in protecting their environment. This study uses a qualitative research approach through ethnoscience and ethnoecology. The two aspects of the study were carried out through the process of reconstructing indigenous science into scientific science. The research stages include pre-research preparation, primary data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, discussion, and direct observations. The next step was collecting data from the study of cultural documents on the manufacturing of Troso woven fabric as well as verifying, reconstructing, formulating, and conceptualising into science. Various scientific studies relate to the measurement process, compounds and mixtures, heat, and energy transfer associated with ethnoscience. Ethnoecologically, the community does not know yet about the environmental impact that has occurred, resulting in environmental damage even though the community has not directly observed it. By associating science material with the local culture, it is hoped that the understanding of science will become more meaningful and contextual.

Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi merupakan daerah dataran rendah yang banyak mengandung air gambut. Air gambut dapat diadsorpsi menjadi air bersih yaitu dengan menggunakan karbon aktif dari buah bintaro (Cerbera odollam). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh aktivasi terhadap karbon aktif yang dihasilkan. Aktivasi kimia menggunakan tiga activator (KOH, ZnCl2, dan H3PO4) dan aktivasi secara fisika pada suhu 600oC. Karbon aktif dikarakterisasi menggunakan SEM-EDX sebelum dan sesudah adsorpsi. Air gambut hasil adsorpsi dianalisis kadar warna, pH, COD, TDS, KMnO4, dan Fe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi aktivator berpengaruh terhadap karbon aktif yang diperoleh. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rendemen yang dihasilkan, dimana rendemen tertinggi terdapat pada karbon aktif dengan aktivator H3PO4 yaitu sebesar 85,25%. Hasil analisis adsorpsi dapat diketahui bahwa karbon aktif buah bintaro dapat menaikkan pH air gambut dari 4,80 menjadi 6,50, menurunkan kadar logam Fe pada air gambut sebesar 75% yakni dari 0,080 mg/L menjadi

Sulfur merupakan salah satu komponen pengotor dalam bahan bakar cair. Keberadaan sulfur dalam bahan bakar cair merupakan salah satu penyumbang terjadinya pendemaran udara. Upaya peningkatan kualitas udara harus dimulai dari kualitas bahan bakar cair. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan metode untuk penghilangan sulfur dalam bahan bakar cair. Adsorpsi adalah metode yang umum digunakan pada proses pemurnian minyak. Bentonit dan karbon adalah adsorben yang biasanya menyerap zat warna dan pengotor pada minyak. Kemampuan bentonit dan karbon dapat ditingkatkan dengan aktivasi untuk memperbesar luas permukaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengadsorpsi minyak dari plastik PP untuk meningkatkan kualitasnya. Proses aktivasi karbon mengunakan akitivator H3PO4. Hasil adsorpsi menunjukkan terjadi pemucatan warna pada minyak dan kenaikan nilai kalor serta penurunan kadar surfur minyak. Kenaikan nilai kalor tertinggi terjadi pada minyak dari plastik PP bening yaitu sebesar 1,96% pada komposisi 60% bentonite dan 30% karbon aktif. Sedangkan nilai kandungan sulfur minyak mengalami penurunan, dengan penurunan terbesar terjadi pada minyak dari plastik PP warna yand diadsorpsi dengan komposisi bentonite dan karbon aktif 25% bentonite dan 75% karbon aktif, penurunan sebesar 0,14%. Hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of waste cooking oil (WCO) and trapped grease over sulfide catalysts was examined to produce high quality transportation fuel from low-grade resources. The hydrodeoxygenation of waste cooking oils was carried out in a high pressure of 30 and 60 bar and high temperature of 300 – 400 °C in a batch reactor autoclave. NiMo/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was prepared and for the first time tested in hydroprocessing of waste cooking oil. The content of NiMo/γ-Al2O3 in each catalyst was about wCo 5 wt.%. A maximum of 77,97 % green diesel yield was achieved at nearly complete conversion of waste cooking oil using NiMo/γ-Al2O3 at temperature of 400°C, pressure 60 bar and 4 hours of reaction time. The oxygen content was decreased from 14,25 wt.% to 13,35 wt.%, at temperature of 400°C, pressure of 30 bar and 1 hour of reaction time. The Hydrodeoxygenation process was much influenced by temperature, pressure, and time.

Identifying English for specific purposes material for particular students is the process of selecting, adjusting, and evaluating English material based on the unique needs of students. Need analysis is needed to identify ESP learning material. This research aimed to identify the students' needs based on goals, necessities, wants, and lacks in learning the English language in Maritime Affairs and Fisheries School using the mixed method with sequential explanatory strategy. Through the purposive sampling, thirty students of the department of fisheries product processing technology at Sekolah Usaha Perikanan Menengah (SUPM) Negeri Sorong became the participants for this research. The recent research used a mixed-method design through a sequential explanatory strategy. Data collection instruments were Guttman scale questionnaires and Focus Group Discussion (FGD. Questionnaires were given to students to determine the goals, necessities, want, and lack of students. The research conducted the FGD to have a more in-depth explanation gathered from the questionnaires' answers. The results showed that ESP material needed by the students of the fisheries product processing technology department was English learning material related to fisheries product processing technology used when having a job. Students were expected to learn ESP topics such as the captain duties, shipping, fisheries, operating machinery, fisheries conversations, cook term, and other English materials correlated with the department of fisheries product processing technology. Therefore, the recent study implied that the teacher must provide ESP material suited to the students' major other than general English to meet the student's need for future work.

Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan program pelatihan bimbingan dan konseling yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional konselor SMA Negeri Kota pontianak. Dengan pendekatan studi kompetensi, pengembangan program pelatihan menggunakan model induktif. Model induktif ini digunakan berdasarkan pada kebutuhan pelatihan yang dilakukan pada studi pendahuluan. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh konselor SMA Negeri Kota Pontianak yang berlatar belakang S1 Bimbingan dan Konseling. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen, penelitian melakukan penilaian program dan hasil pelatihan dari instrumen kompetensi profesional konselor berupa angket, pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program pelatihan bimbingan dan konseling efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional konselor SMA Negeri Kota Pontianak yang dilatihkan. Peningkatan kompetensi profesional konselor kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi setelah diberikan penerapan program pelatihan bimbingan dan konseling secara signifikan daripada kelompok kontrol yang tidak mendapatkan treatment. Rekomendasi kepada konselor adalah untuk lebih meningkatkan aspek-aspek kompetensi profesional konselor yang diteliti perlu peningkatan. Kepada peneliti selanjutnya direkomendasikan untuk mengembangkan penelitian ini dengan metode yang berbeda dan lebih khusus pada aspek-aspek kompetensi profesional konselor.
