Fetal growth restriction is the second leading cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality, behind prematurity, and is present in 5-12% of all pregnancies in the general population. Often confused with children constitutionally small for gestational age, those who had not achieved their potential for fetal growth and therefore having true growth restriction can be identified using customized growth curves. The point is to accurately identify fetuses with slowing growth or cessation of growth reflecting a pathological process, because these are at risk of death in utero or chronic fetal hypoxia with a significant impact on brain development. The kinetics of growth and prenatal markers of fetal growth restriction will influence the decision to extract the fetus and the gestational age at birth, as well as other factors involved in the neurodevelopmental outcome. Cognitive deficits and executive, motor, and behavioral dysfunctions described in the short term seem to persist together with greater risk of metabolic syndrome in adulthood. Decisions of fetal extraction by C-section continue to be debated until new epidemiological data will be available on large cohorts monitored over the long term using accurate neurocognitive tools. Understanding the effects of fetal growth restriction on the structure and function of the developing brain is essential for improving the relevance of fetal extraction decisions, perinatal care, and early evaluation of treatments for the prevention of neurodevelopmental disorders.

International audience; La généralisation de l’usage des technologies connectées en réseau ouvre sur un foisonnement d’initiatives et de pratiques sociales permettant de diversifier les possibilités d’apprendre avec les autres. Cependant, partant du constat que la recherche en SHS/SE s’intéresse le plus souvent, soit aux outils techniques et à la conception des ressources, soit aux usages et aux processus d’apprentissage des sujets (Albero, 2003, 2010a/b/c ; Lameul, 2016), il semble plus que jamais opportun, à la suite des travaux de Linard (1989, 1994, 2001), d’envisager une approche de la technique centrée sur l’activité humaine. Plus particulièrement, il s’agit de questionner les conditions par lesquelles ces outils peuvent devenir les instruments favorables d’émergence d’activités collectives (Albero, Guerin, 2014) permettant le renforcement de la persistance à vouloir comprendre, seul, mais jamais sans les autres (carré, 2005, Heutte, 2014, 2017b). Ainsi dans la perspective écologique (Simonian, 2015), notamment dans la prise en compte de la construction d’affordances socioculturelles (ibid.), on peut se demander si les communautés peuvent être potentiellement perçue comme des écosystèmes favorables au déploiement de l’apprenance (Carré, 2005), comme un ensemble de compossibles (Simondon,1956 ; Simonian, 2014), porteuses d’autoproduction cognitive socialement co-construite dans un processus qui « dépend par définition, et des dispositions personnelles internes des acteurs et des conditions externes, physiques, sociales, interpersonnelles de l’environnement » (Albero, Linard, Robin, 2009, cités par Lameul, 2016, p. 29). De ce fait, les théories qui s’accordent pour faire de l'action et de l'interaction entre sujets, objets et environnement les deux moteurs essentiels des processus psychiques de l’activité cognitive (Linard, 2001) constituent un cadre organisateur robuste (ibid.), y compris pour l’étude des formes contemporaines des collectifs pour apprendre. Après un focus sur les types de communautés favorisant l’émergence, la croissance et/ou le maintien d’un ensemble stable de dispositions favorables à l’acte d’apprendre, une deuxième partie de ce chapitre sera l’occasion de présenter de quelques exemples emblématiques de collectifs pour apprendre en contexte de e-learning informel au sens de Las Vergnas (2017). Poursuivant la réflexion initiée par Linard, en 2003, concernant les enjeux et paradoxes de l’autonomie, la dernière partie de ce chapitre ouvrira la réflexion sur les éléments constitutifs d’une ingénierie autotélique (Heutte, 2017c), c’est à dire une ingénierie dont le fonctionnement est pour ainsi dire principalement « alimenté » par l’énergie résultant de l’autotélisme-Flow (Csikszentmihalyi, 1975, 2014) des apprenants.
