Interdisciplinary efforts from developmental psychology, phenomenology, and philosophy of mind, have studied the rudiments of social cognition and conceptualized distinct forms of intersubjective communication and interaction at human early life. Interaction theorists consider primary intersubjectivity a non-mentalist, pre-theoretical, non-conceptual sort of processes that ground a certain level of communication and understanding, and provide support to higher-level cognitive skills. We argue the study of human/neurorobot interaction consists in a unique opportunity to deepen understanding of underlying mechanisms in social cognition through synthetic modeling, while allowing to examine a second person experiential (2PP) access to intersubjectivity in embodied dyadic interaction. Concretely, we propose the study of primary intersubjectivity as a 2PP experience characterized by predictive engagement, where perception, cognition, and action are accounted for an hermeneutic circle in dyadic interaction. From our interpretation of the concept of active inference in free-energy principle theory, we propose an open-source methodology named neural robotics library (NRL) for experimental human/neurorobot interaction, wherein a demonstration program named virtual Cartesian robot (VCBot) provides an opportunity to experience the aforementioned embodied interaction to general audiences. Lastly, through a study case, we discuss some ways human-robot primary intersubjectivity can contribute to cognitive science research, such as to the fields of developmental psychology, educational technology, and cognitive rehabilitation.

The Limited Liability Company (LLC) is characterized by its distinct juridical entity, effectively segregating its management group from shareholders. Operating as a business entity, the primary goal of an LLC is profit generation. Functioning as a corporate legal entity with legal personality, an LLC comprises three key organizational components: the General Shareholders’ Meeting, Directors, and Commissioners. Directors, or the Board of Directors (BOD), bear the responsibility of managing and representing the LLC both within and outside the legal realm. The position of BOD is mandated to be occupied by a natural person, or 'naturlijk person,' either as a single individual (Director) or collectively by two or more individuals (Board of Directors). Despite a stringent selection process for board positions, the inherent nature of directors as natural persons introduces the possibility of intentional or negligent errors in management, potentially leading to financial losses. In the face of such negligence, the pertinent question arises: can a commissioner (Board of Commissioners) and/or shareholders initiate legal action against a director or BOD, whose legal standing is as the company’s representative? To address this query, a comprehensive library research initiative is undertaken, focusing on the analysis of Article 97 and Article 98 of the Limited Liability Company’s legal statutes. This examination aims to elucidate the viable courses of action that can be pursued against the company in the event of directorial negligence. The research findings reveal that specific commissioners and/or shareholders, in the absence of a director's power of attorney, are granted the authority by the LLC’s legal statutes to initiate legal proceedings against the director or board of directors in a court of law.

Hubungan kerja antara pemberi kerja dan pekerja merupakan suatu perikatan antara dua belah pihak. Undang-undang yang memberikan kepastian hukum untuk pekerja berkembang cukup lengkap dan rinci untuk perlindungan pekerja bila pemberi kerja memutus hubungan kerja. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah menggali semangat kepastian hukum para pihak (pemberi kerja dan pekerja) bila terjadi pemutusan hubungan kerja yang dilakukan oleh pekerja profesional. Penelitian hukum yang dipakai adalah yurisdis normatif, dengan bahan hukum primer, sekunder dan tersier. Hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa pekerja profesional masih berlindung pada undang-undang yang seharusnya melindungi buruh kasar., Pekerja profesional menikmati semua manfaat yang ‘an sich’ dari Undang-Undang Ketenagakerjaan. Bila perusahaan memutus hubungan kerja dengan pekerjanya, hukum tertulis mengatur berbagai sanksi termasuk sanksi pidana dengan mengharuskan perusahaan membayarkan pesangon. Dengan perspektif asas equality before the law, penulis tidak menemukan pengecualian pengaturan kedudukan hukum pekerja profesional dalam regulasi pengaturan ketenagakerjaan.

This article aims to improve the ability of teachers and students to make media maps arise and improve teacher understanding and ability in terms of understanding pedagogical aspects that can be seen from the process of designing a Learning Implementation Plan (LIP) especially in terms of choosing a model or learning method. This activity was held at SMAN 2 using training methods, question and answer, and practice. In accordance with the objectives of the implementation of the activity, it is expected that teachers and students have an increased ability in terms of mastery to make map media arise. Then the teacher can also improve the teacher's understanding/ability in terms of understanding pedagogical aspects that can be seen from the process of designing the LIP especially in terms of choosing a learning model. By carrying out training to improve teacher skills in developing learning media, Geography Teachers are expected to have sufficient competence in terms of designing and utilizing media so that quality learning is created.

The study of molecular drivers of cancer is an area of rapid growth and has led to the development of targeted treatments, significantly improving patient outcomes in many cancer types. The identification of actionable mutations informing targeted treatment strategies are now considered essential to the management of cancer. Traditionally, this information has been obtained through biomarker assessment of a tissue biopsy which is costly and can be associated with clinical complications and adverse events. In the last decade, blood-based liquid biopsy has emerged as a minimally invasive, fast, and cost-effective alternative, which is better suited to the requirement for longitudinal monitoring. Liquid biopsies allow for the concurrent study of multiple analytes, such as circulating tumour cells (CTCs) and circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA), from a single blood sample. Although ctDNA assays are commercially more advanced, there is an increasing awareness of the clinical significance of the transcriptome and proteome which can be analysed using CTCs. Herein, we review the literature in which the microfluidic, label-free Parsortix ® system is utilised for CTC capture, harvest and analysis, alongside the analysis of ctDNA from a single blood sample. This detailed summary of the literature demonstrates how these two analytes can provide complementary disease information.

18 F-FDG positron emission tomography with computed tomography (PET/CT) is a standard imaging modality for the nodal staging of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). To improve the accuracy of pre-operative staging, we compare the staging accuracy of mediastinal lymph node (LN) standard uptake values (SUV) with four derived SUV ratios based on the SUV values of primary tumours (TR), the mediastinal blood pool (MR), liver (LR), and nodal size (SR). In 2015-2017, 53 patients (29 women and 24 men, mean age 67.4 years, range 53-87) receiving surgical resection have pre-operative evidence of mediastinal nodal involvement (cN2). Among these, 114 mediastinal nodes are resected and available for correlative PET/CT analysis. cN2 status accuracy is low, with only 32.5% of the cN2 cases confirmed pathologically. Using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses, a SUVmax of N2 LN performs well in predicting the presence of N2 disease (AUC, 0.822). Based on the respective selected thresholds for each ROC curve, normalisation of LN SUVmax to that for mediastinum, liver and tumour improved sensitivities of LN SUVmax from 68% to 81.1-89.2% while maintaining acceptable specificity (68-70.1%). In conclusion, normalised SUV ratios (particularly LR) improve current pre-operative staging performance in detecting mediastinal nodal involvement.

Background and Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the long-term safety of the omission of immediate neck dissections (IND) in patients with human papillomavirus (HPV)-positive head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) achieving a less than complete nodal response on 12-week FDG PET-CT., Material and Methods: Patients with HPV-positive, node-positive HNSCC that were treated with radical (chemo) radiotherapy (RT) between January 2013 and September 2019 were identified. PET-CT responses were classified as complete (CR), incomplete (ICR) or equivocal (EQR) nodal responses. Clinical outcomes were obtained., Results: 347 patients were identified. Median follow-up was 43.9 (IQR, 30.8-61.2) months. 62.8% (218/347) achieved a CR, 23.4% (81/347) EQR and 13.8% (48/347) ICR nodal response. 70 of 81 (86.4%) patients with an EQR and 25 of 48 (52.1%) with an ICR had no residual disease during follow up (a pathologically negative ND if surgery undertaken or no subsequent neck or distant relapse clinically/radiologically). Median survival of the EQR and CR groups were not reached, and despite the omission of IND in 95% of the EQR group there was no statistically significant differences in overall survival (OS) between the groups, p = 1.0. Median survival of ICR was not reached. However, OS for ICR group was significantly worse than that of CR, and EQR, both p < 0.001., Conclusion: The omission of IND in those achieving an EQR nodal response does not compromise long-term survival. Objectives: Surveillance PET-CT scans at 12 weeks post-radiotherapy for head and neck cancer can be used to omit neck dissections with no detriment in overall survival. Human Papillomavirus (HPV) driven tumours behave differently on conventional imaging after radiotherapy but it is unknown if this effect is seen on PET-CT and if HPV status affects the accuracy of PET-CT. We aimed to determine the negative and positive predictive values (NPV and PPV) of 12 week surveillance PET-CT in HPV positive and negative tumours, and investigate predictors of relapse in equivocal responders., Materials and Methods: A retrospective cohort study in a UK tertiary level oncology hospital, between 2013 and 2016 included adults with oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma, or HPV positive head and neck squamous cell cancers of unknown primary, treated with radiotherapy., Results: The PPVs of 12 week PET-CT in HPV positive and negative disease are 30% and 81.8% respectively (p < 0.01). The NPVs of 12 week PET-CT in HPV positive and negative disease are 92.9% and 55.6% respectively (p < 0.01). 67% of HPV positive patients with equivocal responses on 12 week PET-CT achieved complete response by 24 weeks. Equivocal responses in HPV positive disease had statistically similar survival to patients with complete responses. Comparing disease and imaging characteristics, there were no predictors of residual tumour., Conclusions: HPV positive tumours have a poor PPV of 30% on 12 week surveillance PET-CTs and take longer to achieve complete response. The concept of quality of life has received considerable attention as an inclusive notion of health and as a basis for health interventions. The authors' argument in this article is that notwithstanding this attention, little consensus exists as to definition of the term. In addition, a focus on measurement has led to the neglect of wider aspects of quality of life. Such difficulties are particularly relevant to the study of quality of life of older people. Analysis of interview data suggests that older people's understandings of quality of life are not readily measurable and should be viewed in terms of phenomenological experience. The authors discuss the implications for studying quality of life of this group and difficulties for the concept itself.
