This study tests steel double web sections filled with normal concrete. All beams have the same length span, cross-section (I-section), load type, and boundary conditions. The thickness and width of the flange plates on the steel beams were 120 mm and 6 mm, respectively, while the thickness of the web plates was 3 mm. All beam samples had 1200 mm between supports. One specimen without concrete was assigned as a reference beam, while the second set consisted of three double web beams filled with normal concrete. In terms of ductility, stiffness, and overall flexural capacity, the specimen filled with normal concrete outperformed the hollow steel specimen and the specimens filled with normal concrete in the middle and edge sections of the double-web steel beams, (NMF) and (NEF), respectively.
