Four porous corundum‐spinel aggregates were prepared from magnesia and α‐Al2O3 micropowder via the Kirkendall effect. Effects of the particle size of magnesia (PSM, 0–74 μm, 0–15 μm, and 0–44 μm) and firing temperature (1100–1600°C) on the phase compositions, microstructures, pore characteristics of the prepared porous aggregates were investigated. As the firing temperature increased, the PSM influenced the reaction rate of magnesia and alumina, and the sintering process, leading to remarkable changes in the phase compositions, porosity, and microstructure with a negligible impact on the pore size distribution. As the PSM decreased from 0–74 μm to 0–15 μm, the apparent porosity initially increased and then decreased. Relatively compact cyclic spinels formed around the Kirkendall pores in aggregates with 0–74 μm and 0–44 μm magnesia added after fired at 1600°C, as the expansion of spinel formation was inhibited by the high strength of the alumina matrix. Finally, the optimized product is an aggregate with 0–44 μm magnesia added, which exhibits a high total porosity of 32.4%, a low bulk density of 2.69 g/cm3, and a thermal conductivity of 2.178 W/(m·K) at 1000°C, as well as a high compressive strength of 302.5 MPa and a small median pore size of.46 μm. We argue that one can associate a pseudo-time with sequences of configurations generated in the course of classical Monte Carlo simulations for a single-minimum bound state if the sampling is optimal. Hereby, the sampling rates can be, under special circumstances, calibrated against the relaxation rate and frequency of motion of an actual physical system. The latter possibility is linked to the optimal sampling regime being a universal crossover separating two distinct suboptimal sampling regimes analogous to the physical phenomena of diffusion and effusion, respectively. Bound states break symmetry; one may thus regard the pseudo-time as a quantity emerging together with the bound state. Conversely, when transport among distinct bound states takes place—thus restoring symmetry—a pseudo-time can no longer be defined. One can still quantify activation barriers if the latter barriers are smooth, but simulation becomes impractically slow and pertains to overdamped transport only. Specially designed Monte Carlo moves that bypass activation barriers—so as to accelerate sampling of the thermodynamics—amount to effusive transport and lead to severe under-sampling of transition-state configurations that separate distinct bound states while destroying the said universality. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori, Hp) has been designated a class I carcinogen and is closely associated with severe gastric diseases. During colonization in the gastric mucosa, H. pylori develops immune escape by inducing host immune tolerance. The gastric epithelium acts as the first line of defense against H. pylori, with Toll-like receptors (TLRs) in gastric epithelial cells being sensitive to H. pylori components and subsequently activating the innate immune system. However, the mechanism of immune tolerance induced by H. pylori through the TLR signalling pathway has not been fully elucidated. In this research, we detected the expression of TLRs and inflammatory cytokines in GES-1 cells upon sustained exposure to H. pylori or H. pylori lysate from 1 to 30 generations and in Mongolian gerbils infected with H. pylori for 5 to 90 weeks. We found that the levels of TLR6 and inflammatory cytokines first increased and then dropped during the course of H. pylori treatment in vitro and in vivo. The restoration of TLR6 potentiated the expression of IL-1β and IL-8 in GES-1 cells, which recruited neutrophils and reduced the colonization of H. pylori in the gastric mucosa of gerbils. Mechanistically, we found that persistent infection with H. pylori reduces the sensitivity of TLR6 to bacterial components and regulates the expression of inflammatory cytokines in GES-1 cells through TLR6/JNK signaling. The TLR6 agonist obviously alleviated inflammation in vitro and in vivo. Promising results suggest that TLR6 may be a potential candidate immunotherapy drug for H. pylori infection. Introduction: Mortality from acute myocardial infarction (AMI) remains substantial. The current study is aimed at developing a novel simple risk score for AMI. Methods: The Coronary Artery Tree description and Lesion EvaluaTion (CatLet) extended validation trial (ChiCTR2000033730) and the CatLet validation trial (ChiCTR-POC-17013536), both being registered with chictr.org, served as the derivation and validation datasets, respectively. Both datasets included 1,018 and 308 patients, respectively. They all suffered from AMI and underwent percutaneous intervention (PCI). The endpoint was 4-year all-cause death. Lasso regression analysis was used for covariate selection and coefficient estimation. Results: Of 26 candidate predictor variables, the four strongest predictors for 4-year mortality were included in this novel risk score with an acronym of BACEF (serum alBumin, Age, serum Creatinine, and LVEF). This score was well calibrated and yielded an AUC (95% CI) statistics of 0.84 (0.80–0.87) in internal validation, 0.89 (0.83–0.95) in internal-external (temporal) validation, and 0.83 (0.77–0.89) in external validation. Notably, it outperformed the ACEF, ACEF II, GRACE scores with respect to 4-year mortality prediction. Conclusion: A simple risk score for 4-year mortality risk stratification was developed, extensively validated, and calibrated in patients with AMI. Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) estimates the robot's pose in three-dimensional space by analyzing the depth variations of inter-frame feature points. Inter-frame feature point mismatches can lead to tracking failure, impacting the accuracy of the mobile robot's self-localization and mapping. This paper proposes a method for removing mismatches of image features in dynamic scenes in visual SLAM. First, the Grid-based Motion Statistics (GMS) method was introduced for fast coarse screening of mismatched image features. Second, an Adaptive Error Threshold RANSAC (ATRANSAC) method, determined by the internal matching rate, was proposed to improve the accuracy of removing mismatched image features in dynamic and static scenes. Third, the GMS-ATRANSAC method was tested for removing mismatched image features, and experimental results showed that GMS-ATRANSAC can remove mismatches of image features on moving objects. It achieved an average error reduction of 29.4% and 32.9% compared to RANSAC and GMS-RANSAC, with a corresponding reduction in error variance of 63.9% and 58.0%, respectively. The processing time was reduced by 78.3% and 38%, respectively. Finally, the effectiveness of inter-frame feature mismatch removal in the initialization thread of ORB-SLAM2 and the tracking thread of ORB-SLAM3 was verified for the proposed algorithm. • The flow noise in ejector and the generation reason of noise was analyzed. • The flow field variation in diffuser under different back pressure was explored. • The decline of flow noise is caused by the disappearance of shock wave in diffuser. • The correlation between the ejector performance and flow noise was summarized. • The rapid drop of noise means that ejector enters the subcritical working condition. The flow noise and the performance of trans-critical carbon dioxide ejector were simulated to summarize the correlation between them. This correlation is the basis of judging working condition of ejector by monitoring the flow noise. In this article the homogeneous model (HEM) was employed to simulate the inner flow in the ejector. Based on the flow field, the flow noise distribution was derived using broadband noise simulation (BNS). The simulation results showed that major noise sources locate in the premix and diffuser section. The noise source in the premix section is caused by the great velocity difference between primary and secondary flow. The noise sources in diffuser are the back flow and vortexes caused by flow separation. The characteristics of flow noise under variable back pressure are as following: the premix noise remains unchanged while the diffuser noise decreases with the increase of back pressure. Comparing the trend of flow noise and the performance parameters under variable back pressure, it was found that with the decrease of diffuser noise, the pressure ratio and the efficiency of ejector were increased. The correlation between the entrainment ratio and diffuser noise lies in: before the critical back pressure, the entrainment ratio remains constant with the decrease of noise. After that, the noise and entrainment ratio decrease simultaneously. Especially, the back pressure range when the entrainment ratio starts to decline is consistent with the range when the diffuser noise rapidly drops. The oxygen evolution reaction (OER), characterized by a four‐electron transfer kinetic process, represents a significant bottleneck in improving the efficiency of hydrogen production from water electrolysis. Consequently, extensive research efforts have been directed towards identifying single‐atom electrocatalysts with exceptional OER performance. Despite the comprehensive understanding of the OER mechanism, its application to other valuable synthetic reactions has been limited. Herein, we leverage the MOOH intermediate, a key species in the Mn−N−C single‐atom catalyst (Mn‐SA@NC), which can be cyclically delivered in the OER. We exploit this intermediate' s capability to facilitate electrophilic transfer with silane, enabling efficient silane oxidation under electrochemical conditions. The SAC electrocatalytic system exhibits remarkable performance with catalyst loadings as low as 600 ppm and an exceptional turnover number of 9132. Furthermore, the catalytic method demonstrates stability under a 10 mmol flow chemistry setup. By serving as an OER electrocatalyst, the Mn‐SA@NC drives the entire reaction, establishing a practical Mn SAC‐catalyzed organic electrosynthesis system. This synthesis approach not only presents a promising avenue for the utilization of electrocatalytic OER but also highlights the potential of SACs as an attractive platform for organic electrosynthesis investigations. Angrites are a small group of basaltic meteorites and their origin is currently disputed. Among these, Northwest Africa (NWA) 12774 is a quenched angrite that was reported having an anomalously high bulk Cr 2 O 3 content (∼0.45 wt%). However, the reason behind this anomaly, which is critical for understanding the evolution of the angrite parent body, remains unknown. Here, we performed a detailed petrographic, mineralogical, and bulk oxygen and chromium isotopic composition study on this meteorite. NWA 12774 consists of porous olivine macrocrysts, phenocrysts of olivine and Al-Ti-rich augite, and spinel micro-phenocrysts with fine-grained groundmass. The olivine macrocrysts and the magnesian cores of olivine phenocrysts show compositional correlations distinctly different from typical olivine phenocrysts. The olivine macrocrysts contain small chromite/chrome-spinel inclusions which have the highest Cr 2 O 3 content (53.2 wt%) for chromite/spinel in angrites to date. Based on these textural and chemical features, the olivine macrocrysts and the magnesian cores of olivine phenocrysts are identified as xenocrysts. Some pyroxene phenocrysts contain regions with complexly zoned microtextures, which have much larger chemical variations compared with those with simply zoned microtextures. The regions with complexly zoned microtextures are likely to be of xenocrystic origin. The bulk Cr 2 O 3 content in NWA 12774 was estimated through two approaches, both of which show the bulk Cr 2 O 3 content to be around 0.3 wt% or possibly up to ∼ 0.45 wt%, which is consistent with previously measured values. The high Cr 2 O 3 content in NWA 12774 could be attributed to both the high abundance of spinel micro-phenocrysts and their high Cr 2 O 3 contents, rather than the presence of Cr-rich xenocrysts. The calculated melt rare earth element concentration in NWA 12774 equilibrated with the most Mg-rich augite is essentially identical to those in LEW 87051 and Asuka 881371, which however have Cr 2 O 3 contents much lower than NWA 12774. We suggest that the mantle source of NWA 12774 may not be as depleted in Cr and probably other volatile elements as other angrite sources. As an important means of in situ detection in near space, meteorological rockets can provide a high-precision distribution analysis of atmospheric elements. However, there are currently few studies on the principles of meteorological-rocket detection and the application of rocket-sounding data. The purpose of this paper is to fill this gap by providing a detailed introduction to the detection principle of a meteorological rocket launched in the East China Sea in November 2022. Moreover, empirical models, satellite data, and reanalysis data were selected for comparison and verification with the rocket-sounding data. Furthermore, the accuracy of these widely used datasets was studied based on the rocket-sounding data in the near space over the East China Sea. Additionally, gravity-wave power–frequency spectra were extracted using the maximum entropy method from both the rocket-sounding data and the remote-sensing data. Furthermore, the relationship between gravity waves and Kelvin–Helmholtz instability (KHI) was investigated by analyzing the gravity-wave energy and the Richardson number. The research findings indicate that among the remote-sensing data describing the atmospheric environment over the launch site, the COSMIC occultation data is more accurate compared with the SABER data. The wind-field distribution derived from rocket detection is consistent with the Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications (MERRA) reanalysis data, while also providing a more detailed description of the wind field. The main wavelengths of gravity waves extracted from rocket-sounding data are consistently smaller than those obtained from satellite remote-sensing data, indicating that rocket sounding is capable of capturing more intricate structures of gravity waves. The good correspondence between the peaks of gravity-wave energy and the regions where KHI occurs indicates that there is a strong interaction between gravity waves and KHI in the middle atmosphere. Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is an abnormal neurological condition caused by hypoxic-ischemic damage during the perinatal period. Human placenta derived mesenchymal stem cells (hPMSCs) have been shown to have protective and reparative effects in various neurological diseases; however, the research on HIE is insufficient. This study aimed to establish a rat model of HIE and transplant hPMSCs through the lateral ventricle after hypoxic-ishcemic (HI) brain damage to observe its protective effects and mechanisms, with a focus on brain apoptosis compared among groups. Differentially expressed apoptosis-related proteins were screened using a rat cytokine array and subsequent verification. Neuropilin-1 (NRP-1) and Semaphorin 3A (Sema 3A) were selected for further investigation. Western blotting was used to quantify the expression of Sema 3A and the proteins related to PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway. Exogenous Sema 3A was added to evaluate the effects of Sema 3A/NRP-1 on hPMSCs following HI injury. hPMSCs transplantation ameliorated HI-induced pathological changes, reduced apoptosis, and improved long-term neurological prognosis. Furthermore, Sema 3A/NRP-1 was a key regulator in reducing HI-induced apoptosis after hPMSCs transplantation. hPMSCs inhibited the expression of Sema 3A/NRP-1 and activated the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway. Additionally, exogenous Sema 3A abolished the protective effects of hPMSCs against HI. In conclusion, hPMSCs transplantation reduced apoptosis and improved long-term neurological prognosis after HI by downregulating Sema 3A/NRP-1 expression and activating the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway. Tuning the anionic site of catalyst supports can impact reaction pathways by creating active sites on the support or influencing metal‐support interactions when using supported metal nanoparticles. This study focuses on CO2 hydrogenation over supported Cu nanoparticles, revealing a 3‐fold increase in methanol yield when replacing oxygen anions with hydrides in the perovskite support (Cu/BaTiO2.8H0.2 yields ~146 mg/h/gCu vs. Cu/BaTiO3 yields ~50 mg/h/gCu). The contrast suggests that significant roles are played by the support hydrides in the reaction. Temperature programmed reaction and isotopic labelling studies indicate that BaTiO2.8H0.2 surface hydride species follow a Mars van Krevelen mechanism in CO2 hydrogenation, promoting methanol production. High‐pressure steady‐state isotopic transient kinetic analysis (SSITKA) studies suggest that Cu/BaTiO2.8H0.2 possesses both a higher density and more active and selective sites for methanol production compared to Cu/BaTiO3. An operando high‐pressure diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy (DRIFTS)‐SSITKA study shows that formate species are the major surface intermediates over both catalysts, and the subsequent hydrogenation steps of formate are likely rate‐limiting. However, the catalytic reactivity of Cu/BaTiO2.8H0.2 towards the formate species is much higher than Cu/BaTiO3, likely due to the altered electronic structure of interface Cu sites by the hydrides in the support as validated by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. In order to explore the horizontal joint connection performance of the innovative tooth groove connection and vertical reinforcement lapping in the reserved hole, five horizontal joint specimens were designed and constructed in this paper. Through the combination of monotonic horizontal load tests and finite element simulation analysis, the effects of axial compression ratio, vertical reinforcement connection degree, reserved hole type, mortar strength, and tooth groove depth on the horizontal joint connection performance of innovative tooth groove connections and vertical reinforcement lapping in reserved holes were comprehensively analyzed and discussed. The results indicated that the specimens were subjected to penetration failure at the tooth groove joint, but the vertical reinforcements and UHPC in reserved holes can effectively transfer the stress, ensuring satisfactory connection performance. With the increase in axial compression ratio and vertical reinforcement connection degree, the joint connection performance enhanced gradually, while the reserved hole type had little effect on the joint connection performance. In addition, it was found that increasing the mortar strength and the tooth groove depth can significantly improve the peak bearing capacity through finite element analysis. Finally, the optimization design suggestions for this innovative tooth groove connection and vertical reinforcement lapping in the reserved hole were given considering factors such as joint connection performance and construction assembly. Background: There is a complex relationship between social anxiety and sleep quality. However, network analysis studies of associations between social anxiety and sleep quality are lacking, particularly among patients with breast cancer. The current study aimed to extend this research to a sample of patients with breast cancer and to examine symptom-level associations between social anxiety and sleep quality using network analysis. Methods: Network analysis was conducted to explore their associations and identify bridge items of social anxiety and sleep quality. Results: The network structure revealed 9 important edges between social anxiety and sleep quality. "Subjective sleep quality" had the highest EI value in the network. "Working difficulty under watching" and "Sleep disorders" had the highest BEI values in their own communities. Conclusion: There are complex pathological correlation pathways between social anxiety and sleep quality in breast cancer patients. "Subjective sleep quality", "Working difficulty under watching" and "Sleep disorders" have the potential to be intervention targets for sleep disorder-social anxiety comorbidity. Medical staff can take corresponding interventions according to the the centrality indices and bridge centrality indicators identified in this study, which is likely to effectively reduce the comorbidity of sleep disorders and social anxiety. Leucism, a widespread occurrence observed in Northern snakehead (Channa argus), bestows a striking white jade-like body coloration upon affected individuals and has gained substantial popularity in commercial breeding. While the visible manifestation of leucism in snakeheads is primarily limited to body coloration, it is crucial to explore the potential influence of leucism on organ development and elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms. Through a comparative analysis of growth differences, our study revealed that at 150 days post-fertilization, the white variety exhibited an 8.5% higher liver index and intestinal index, but experienced a 20% and 38% decreased in spleen index and renal interstitial index, respectively, suggesting an enlarged digestive area but relatively smaller immune tissues. Nonetheless, no significant differences were observed in the intestinal flora between the two varieties, suggesting the exclusion of any exogenous impacts from symbiotic flora on the growth and development of the white variety. Importantly, transcriptome analysis demonstrated that the white variety exhibited higher expression levels of innate immune genes. Furthermore, annotation of the gene sets expressed in the liver and spleen revealed 76 and 35 genes respectively, with the white variety displaying lower expression in genes associated with "Viral protein interaction with cytokine and cytokine receptor", "Protein processing in endoplasmic reticulum", and "TNF signaling pathway", while exhibiting higher expression in "Estrogen signaling pathway". Notably, three genes, namely pcdhf 4, nlrc3 card 15-like, and a pol-like were identified in both the liver and spleen, indicating their potential involvement in altering the development and innate immunity of the white variety. This study reveals the systemic impact of leucism that extends beyond mere pigmentation alterations, highlighting the prominent characteristics of this phenotype and providing a foundation for future molecular breeding programs aimed at enhancing this variety. To extend the practicability of ceramics in immobilizing nuclear waste with fluctuant composition, structural design should be abandoned. The simulated tetravalent actinide waste An4+ (Ce4+) was directly doped into prepared Gd2Zr2O7, and the waste forms were synthesized by high‐temperature solid‐state reaction. It has been shown that the maximum loading of CeO2 in Gd2Zr2O7 lies between 20 and 30 wt.%, and Ce elements are uniformly distributed in the matrix. Existing in Ce3+ and Ce4+, cerium ions automatically occupied both the Gd and Zr sites in Gd2Zr2O7 according to valence equilibrium. This occupation causes the change of r(A3+)/r(B4+) and eventually leads to the structure transition from pyrochlore to fluorite. In addition, the normalized leaching rate of the sample with 60 wt.% of dopant was about 2.5 × 10−7 g m−2 d−1 on the 35th day. Sweet syndrome is a rare complication of azathioprine treatment with unelucidated clinical features. The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of azathioprine-induced Sweet syndrome (AISS) and provide a reference for diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. We collected relevant case reports of AISS by searching Chinese and English databases from 1960 to December 31, 2022, extracted the data and carried out a retrospective analysis. The median age of the 44 patients was 50 (range 9–89) years, and they included 32 males (72.7%). Fever (86.4%) and arthralgia (31.8%) were the most common clinical symptoms. The skin lesions were mainly pustules (54.5%), papules (40.9%), plaques (40.9%) and nodules (31.8%), which were mainly distributed on the extremities (54.5%), face (38.6%) and hands (36.4%). Laboratory examination revealed neutropenia (65.9%) as well as elevated C-reactive protein (63.6%) and erythrocyte sedimentation (40.9%) rates. Histopathology of the lesioned skin showed neutrophil infiltration (93.2%) and dermal edema (38.6%). Symptom relief was achieved at a median time of 7 days (range 2–28 days) after azathioprine discontinuation in all patients. Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the treatment effect of G protein‐coupled receptor 30 (GPR30) agonist G1 combined with hypothermia (HT) on cognitive impairment and anxiety‐like behavior after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) in rats. Methods: Fifty male rats were randomly assigned to one of five groups: Sham group, SAH group, SAH + G1 group, SAH + HT group, and SAH + G1 + HT group. The SAH rat model was established by modified endovascular puncture in all groups except the Sham group. Neurological function after the operation was assessed by Garcia scoring. The degree of rat cerebral edema was determined using dry‐wet weighing method on the 28th day after operation. Moreover, the behavioral test was performed on rats on the 4th and 28th days after operation. Results: Compared with Sham group, the Garcia score of each SAH rat model group decreased significantly on the first day and thereafter increased gradually. However, the recovery rate of each treatment group was higher than the SAH group (no treatment), and the Garcia score of SAH + G1 + HT group was much higher than the SAH group on the seventh day after operation. In addition, each treatment group could obviously reduce the cerebral edema degree of SAH rats, among which rats in SAH + G1 + HT group had lower cerebral edema degree than SAH + G1 group and SAH + HT group. Behavioral test results showed that the combination of GPR30 agonist G1 and HT markedly improved the learning and memory ability of SAH rats, alleviated their anxiety‐ and emotion‐related behavior, and enhanced their social interaction. This research explores the potential causes for student's lack of interest in enrollment in marketing analytics courses. We reveal that a misconception of marketing as a "soft skills" major of study persists, which leads to biased assessment of the relevance and applicability of curriculum in regards to future career. As a result, students become less interested in quantitative courses. Furthermore, we identified self-efficacy view as a mitigating factor in the effect. The effect of Transgelin 2 (TAGLN2) on clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is unknown. This study explored the potential role and mechanism of ccRCC. The expression of TAGLN2 in Pan-cancers was analyzed using the Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) databases. TCGA-KIRC database was used to analyze subsequent prognostic survival, pathway enrichment, and immune infiltration. Relevant experimental methods could explain the effect of TAGLN2 expression on tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and apoptosis. Apoptosis, proliferation, Epithelial-to-Mesenchymal Transition (EMT), and PI3K/AKT signaling pathway-related protein expression were determined through western blotting. In the TCGA + GTEx database, mRNA-TAGLN2 expression was clearly increased in pan-cancer tissues, and the same result was found in ccRCC patients based on KIRC analysis results. In addition, TAGLN2 was associated with poor clinical stage, pathological grade, and survival prognosis. TAGLN2 is highly expressed in ccRCC tissues and in vitro TAGLN2 silencing of cells inhibits the proliferation, migration, invasion, and EMT of ccRCC cancer cells. Furthermore, TAGLN2-related differential genes enriched in the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway were negatively regulated after TAGLN2 silencing. Moreover, TAGLN2 may promote tumor immune escape and increase the risk of distant metastasis in immune infiltration-related analyses. TAGLN2 can be used as a single indicator to explain the survival probability of patients with ccRCC. With the development and progress of medical technology, the survival rate of premature and low-birth-weight infants has increased, as has the incidence of a variety of neonatal diseases, such as hypoxic–ischemic encephalopathy, intraventricular hemorrhage, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, necrotizing enterocolitis, and retinopathy of prematurity. These diseases cause severe health conditions with poor prognoses, and existing control methods are ineffective for such diseases. Stem cells are a special type of cells with self-renewal and differentiation potential, and their mechanisms mainly include anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic properties, reducing oxidative stress, and boosting regeneration. Their paracrine effects can affect the microenvironment in which they survive, thereby affecting the biological characteristics of other cells. Due to their unique abilities, stem cells have been used in treating various diseases. Therefore, stem cell therapy may open up the possibility of treating such neonatal diseases. This review summarizes the research progress on stem cells and exosomes derived from stem cells in neonatal refractory diseases to provide new insights for most researchers and clinicians regarding future treatments. Extreme events have become more frequent in the Northern Hemisphere mid‐latitudes in recent decades, hugely impacting the ecosystem and society. The quasi‐resonance amplification (QRA) of planetary waves is considered one of the dynamic mechanisms leading to extreme weather. However, the specific impact of resonant waves caused by QRA on surface heat extremes is still an open issue. Here we show that the QRA of planetary waves leading to heat extremes is closely related to double jets, accompanied by the enhancement of atmospheric blocking and the weakening of planetary wave escaping into the stratosphere. Our results illustrate the important role of mid‐latitude planetary waves with zonal wavenumber m = 6–8 caused by QRA in the increasingly frequent heat waves in recent years, as it can increase the coverage area and occurrence frequency of heat extremes in mid‐latitudes and show a significant impact on preferred regions, especially in Eurasia. At certain frequencies and wavelengths (short‐wavelength), this circumglobal waves disturbance can be significantly amplified through resonance, resulting in heat extremes. • A dynamic model of transcritical CO 2 multi-ejector refrigeration system is developed. • The dynamic responses of the system under different disturbances are simulated. • The optimal ejector combination maximizes the system COP and pressure lift ratio. • A wide working condition adaptive regulation strategy is proposed. This paper presents a dynamic model of transcritical CO 2 refrigeration system with multi-ejector which is developed based on the real CO 2 properties and considering the internal transonic flow, phase change and choking, and its predictions are in good agreement with experimental data from the literature. The transient response of the system is studied by adjusting the speed of compressor, water flow of heat exchanger, opening of expansion valve and combination of ejector as disturbance conditions. The presented results show that the developed dynamic model has similar response rules with the same type of system. Changes of cooling water flow of gas cooler and chilled water flow of flooded evaporator can cause significant response of other pressures in the system except low-temperature evaporator, and can regulate the cooling and heating load to some extent. Opening of medium and low temperature expansion valve plays a decisive role in the system's medium and low temperature refrigeration capacity respectively, and the low-temperature expansion valve is the only regulation means of the low-temperature cooling capacity. Optimal operating combination of multi-ejector maximizes the system performance and ejector pressure lift ratio. Furthermore, the optimal ejector combination of the system under the refrigeration capacity of 75∼115 kW is studied and compared, a control strategy of adjusting ejector combination by "nozzle mass flow rate" is put forward to adapt to the high-performance operation of the system under different loads. In order to clarify the migration mechanism and wake behavior of a single bubble rising near a vertical wall, three-dimensional direct numerical simulations are implemented based on the open-source software Basilisk and various types of migration paths like linear, zigzag and spiral are investigated. The volume of fluid (VOF) method is used to capture the bubble interface at a small scale, while the gas-liquid interface and high-velocity-gradient regions in the flow field are encrypted with the adaptive mesh refinement technology. The results show that the vertical wall has an obstructive effect on the diffusion of the vortex boundary layer on the surface of the bubble migrating in a straight line, and the resulting reaction force tends to push the bubbles away from the wall surface. Oxidation resistance is pivotal to the application of thermal barrier coating (TBC) composites in high-temperature structural components. In this study, the effect of TaSi 2 on the oxidation resistance of a traditional YSZ/MCrAlY TBC was investigated. The results show that during prolonged oxidation in air and water vapor, the formation of spinel above the thermally grown oxide in the TBC was reduced, causing the coating to undergo more severe internal oxidation in air. We apply methods of machine-learning, such as neural networks, manifold learning and image processing, in order to study 2-dimensional amoebae in algebraic geometry and string theory. With the help of embedding manifold projection, we recover complicated conditions obtained from so-called lopsidedness. For certain cases it could even reach ∼ 99 % accuracy, in particular for the lopsided amoeba of F 0 with positive coefficients which we place primary focus. Using weights and biases, we also find good approximations to determine the genus for an amoeba at lower computational cost. In general, the models could easily predict the genus with over 90% accuracies. With similar techniques, we also investigate the membership problem, and image processing of the amoebae directly. In this study, nanoscale protuberances were fabricated on poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) thin-film surface by mechanical scanning probe lithography, namely dynamic plowing lithography (DPL). However, the formation mechanism of protuberances by DPL remains unclear. Therefore, this paper investigated the formation mechanism and fine control of the protuberances. Considering the influence of the dynamic response of the probe cantilever, proportional gain and integral gain were investigated when the tip scratched PMMA film in scan mode. Using feedback loop control, the increased depth of the groove at the beginning was attributed to the peak of the oscillation amplitude caused by the interplay between lithography and feedback. The cantilever vibrated dramatically when integral gain was increased. When the integral gain was increased to 5, the machined depth was approximately 82 nm, which exposed the substrate. Furthermore, the machined depth depended on the proportional gain when the integral gain was 0. The increased steady-state error that occurred at decreased proportional gain caused the tip to penetrate the sample deeper. In addition, the volume of the pile-up was larger than the removed material. And the material pile-up contributed to the fabrication of the protuberance. Finally, uniform and reliable protuberances were fabricated without proportional gain and integral gain. Fibrous dysplasia (FD) is a skeletal stem cell disease caused by mutations in the guanine nucleotide-binding protein, alpha-stimulating activity polypeptide (GNAS) gene, which results in the abnormal accumulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and hyperactivation of downstream signaling pathways. Parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) is secreted by the osteoblast lineage and is involved in various physiological and pathological activities of bone. However, the association between the abnormal expression of PTHrP and FD, as well as its underlying mechanism, remains unclear. In this study, we discovered that FD patient-derived bone marrow stromal cells (FD BMSCs) expressed significantly higher levels of PTHrP during osteogenic differentiation and exhibited greater proliferation capacity but impaired osteogenic ability compared to normal control patient-derived BMSCs (NC BMSCs). Continuous exogenous PTHrP exposure on the NC BMSCs promoted the FD phenotype in both in vitro and in vivo experiments. Through the PTHrP/cAMP/PKA axis, PTHrP could partially influence the proliferation and osteogenesis capacity of FD BMSCs via the overactivation of the Wnt/β-Catenin signaling pathway. Furthermore, PTHrP not only directly modulated cAMP/PKA/CREB transduction but was also demonstrated as a transcriptional target of CREB. This study provides novel insight into the possible pathogenesis involved in the FD phenotype and enhances the understanding of its molecular signaling pathways, offering theoretical evidence for the feasibility of potential therapeutic targets for FD. The concept of "oil to electricity" is crucial for expanding the share of electricity in final energy consumption as well as for encouraging energy efficiency and emission reduction. Initially, a multidimensional strategy analysis is conducted for the government, ports, and ships concerned. From an economics perspective, a mathematical model of electricity substitution benefit analysis based on multiagent cooperative game theory under cap and trade and carbon tax policies is constructed, and the effect of carbon emissions caused by ships on the environment and society is converted into economic value. How several variables, such as transformation costs, ship electricity consumption, subsidy rates, carbon tax prices, and the ratio of shore power usage time to berthing time, affect the functioning of shore power is analyzed. The best electricity price under various circumstances is determined while considering the benefits of the three parties to maximize social welfare. The reduction in carbon dioxide and pollutant emissions is calculated. Meanwhile, the environmental advantages of the "replacement of oil with electricity" procedure are estimated. An example supports the claim that the suggested modeling approach can successfully resolve the economic benefits of each participant for the period that fosters the growth of electricity replacement projects and offers a sound scientific foundation for the formation of pertinent legislation. We show that standard machine learning algorithms may be trained to predict certain invariants of low genus arithmetic curves. Using datasets of size around 105, we demonstrate the utility of machine learning in classification problems pertaining to the BSD invariants of an elliptic curve (including its rank and torsion subgroup), and the analogous invariants of a genus 2 curve. Our results show that a trained machine can efficiently classify curves according to these invariants with high accuracies (>0.97). The Fusarium oxysporum species complex (FOSC) includes both plant and human pathogens that cause devastating plant vascular wilt diseases and threaten public health. Each F. oxysporum genome comprises core chromosomes (CCs) for housekeeping functions and accessory chromosomes (ACs) that contribute to host-specific adaptation. This study inspects global transcription factor profiles (TFomes) and their potential roles in coordinating CC and AC functions to accomplish host-specific interactions. Remarkably, we found a clear positive correlation between the sizes of TFomes and the proteomes of an organism. With the acquisition of ACs, the FOSC TFomes were larger than the other fungal genomes included in this study. Among a total of 48 classified TF families, 14 families involved in transcription/translation regulations and cell cycle controls were highly conserved. Among the 30 FOSC expanded families, Zn2-C6 and Znf_C2H2 were most significantly expanded to 671 and 167 genes per family including well-characterized homologs of Ftf1 (Zn2-C6) and PacC (Znf_C2H2) that are involved in host-specific interactions. Manual curation of characterized TFs increased the TFome repertoires by 3% including a disordered protein Ren1. RNA-Seq revealed a steady pattern of expression for conserved TF families and specific activation for AC TFs. Functional characterization of these TFs could enhance our understanding of transcriptional regulation involved in FOSC cross-kingdom interactions, disentangle species-specific adaptation, and identify targets to combat diverse diseases caused by this group of fungal pathogens. The three most abundant phyla in fecal microbiota were Firmicutes (48.68%), Bacteroidetes (34.45%), and Euryarchaeota (15.42%). There are 11 genera with more than 1.0% abundance at the genus level. Both alpha diversity and beta diversity showed significant differences among the four groups (p < 0.05). Further, primiparous women were associated with a profound alteration of the fecal microbiota. The most representative taxa included Rikenellaceae_RC9_gut_group, Prevotellaceae_UCG_003, Christensenellaceae_R_7_group, Ruminococcaceae UCG-005, Ruminococcaceae UCG-013, Ruminococcaceae UCG-014, Methanobrevibacter, and [Eubacterium] coprostanoligenes group, which were associated with energy metabolism and inflammation. Rewritable paper is of great significance for environmental and sustainable development. Specially, the water rewritable paper based on hydrochromism has aroused extensive research interesting for being clean, convenient and compatible with the current ink jet printer. Nevertheless, previously reported water rewritable paper requires complex and time-consuming fabricating process. Here, we report a facile strategy to fabricate structural colored water rewritable paper simply via two step infiltration on commercially available paper. After infiltration of graphene laminates and SiO 2 colloidal spheres in sequence, the obtained paper is integrated with assembled graphene laminates (AGLs)/amorphous colloidal arrays (ACAs) hierarchical composite structure. Owing to the advantageous micro-topography, selective separation capacity and high visible light absorption property of the underlying AGLs, SiO 2 ACAs with vivid structure color can be realized. Moreover, the hydrochomism of the hierarchical composite structure is resulted from the synergistic contribution of the hydrophilic structural color and the visible light absorption property of AGLs. However, Li dendrite generation is still one of the most important factors hindering the application of SSLMBs since interface contact degradation, dead Li accumulation, and continuous solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) growth are always caused by Li dendrite growth, making the performances of SSLMBs deteriorate rapidly. In this study, a poly(ether block amide) (PEBA) based polymer electrolyte with lithium bis-(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI) as the Li salt is developed. It is found that the PEBA 2533-20% LiTFSI electrolyte possesses an ion conductivity of 3.0 × 10−5 S cm−1 at 25 °C. Especially, the Li dendrite suppression ability of SEI is greatly enhanced since it provides abundant amide groups to activate TFSI- anions and further enriches lithium fluoride (LiF) content in the SEI layer, which endows the full-cell with enhanced cyclability. As a result, the fabricated solid-state Li/PEBA 2533-20% LiTFSI/LiFePO 4 (areal capacity: 0.15 mAh cm−2) battery remains 94% of its maximum capacity (127.5 mAh g−1) at a rate of 0.5C and 60 °C after 200 cycles. In particular, the full cell can cycle for almost 1000 times without short circuit. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the soft tissue prediction accuracy of patients undergoing orthognathic surgery to correct skeletal class III malocclusion using maxillofacial regional aesthetic units. Materials and methods: Pre- and postoperative cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and 3D facial scans were taken for 58 patients who had undergone orthognathic surgery. The preoperative 3D facial scan was integrated with the preoperative CBCT using ProPlan CMF software. The software simulated the surgery and generated postoperative soft tissue prediction. The simulated 3D facial scan was then compared with the actual 3D facial scan obtained at least 6 months after the surgery by the maxillofacial regional aesthetic units and the facial soft tissue landmark points. Results: The anatomical regions of the upper lip, lower lip, chin, right external buccal and left external buccal prediction were above 2.0 mm. As for the soft tissue landmarks, at chl, chr, ls, stm and li, the position of predicted scan was higher than that of the actual postoperative scan. Conclusions: The accuracy of 3D soft tissue predictions using ProPlan CMF software in Skeletal III patients was clinically satisfactory according to maxillofacial regional aesthetic units combined with facial soft tissue landmark points. However, the accuracy of prediction still needed improvement in some areas. Clinical relevance: The accuracy of soft tissue prediction can be analyzed more clearly through maxillofacial regional aesthetic units so that clinicians have a deeper understanding of the use of the software to predict soft tissue change after orthognathic surgery. In this study, first-principles calculations were performed to investigate the catalytic effect of NiN4-G on the dehydrogenation of MgH 2. Side-on MgH 2 can be adsorbed stably on the NiN4-G monolayer and is preferentially adsorbed on the NiN4 site compared with the graphene site. The hydrogen desorption process, in which MgH 2 dissociated to the Mg atom on the NiN4 site or graphene site and an H 2 molecule in the vacuum, should overcome lower barriers than pure MgH 2. This is because the corresponding Mg–H bond is weakened owing to the electron transfer between the Mg atom and the substrate. The hydrogen desorption enthalpies of the (MgH 2) 5 cluster on the NiN4 active and graphene sites are significantly smaller (0.11 eV and 1.50 eV, respectively) when H2+H2 is released from the cluster compared with those of the undoped MgH 2 cluster (2.48 eV). Therefore, the NiN4-G monolayer can provide the double effect of the NiN4 active and graphene sites on improving the dehydrogenation performance of MgH 2. A new isotropic plastic-damage cap model of concrete is proposed in this study to overcome the limitations (e.g., crack closure behavior) of the existing continuous surface cap (CSC) model in the hydrocode LS-DYNA. The explicit return mapping algorithm of the cutting plane is used in the proposed model to update the plastic behavior of concrete. A scalar damage variable based on the two different damage laws, i.e., brittle damage and ductile damage, is employed to represent different damage mechanisms of concrete under different stress states. Utilizing the concept of effective stress and the hypothesis of strain equivalence decouples the plastic-damage algorithms in the numerical integration process. The principal strain rules are employed to capture the crack closure feature and reversal load-bearing capacity of concrete. The proposed cap model is implemented into LS-DYNA as the user-defined material model. A significant number of simulations are performed to validate the rationality and accuracy of the newly developed plastic-damage cap models. It is found that the proposed plastic-damage cap model not only captures the basic mechanical behaviors and damage modes of concrete under different stress states but also is superior to the existing model in the predictions of the crack closure behavior and reversal load-bearing capacity of concrete under static and impact loadings. Background: Systemic inflammation is currently regarded as a hallmark of cancer. This study aimed to accurately clarify the prognostic value of various inflammatory markers in patients with stage IV cancer.Methods: This study assessed 2,424 patients with cancer diagnosed with cancer in tumor, node, metastasis (TNM) stage IV. After evaluating the predictive value of 13 inflammatory indicators for patient prognosis using the C index, the lymphocyte C-reactive protein ratio (LCR) was selected to elucidate the prognostic and predictive values in patients with stage IV cancer. Kaplan-Meier and Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to analyze long-term survival.Results: A total of 1,457 men (60.1%) and 967 women (39.9%) diagnosed with TNM stage IV cancer were enrolled. A ratio of 2,814 was defined as the optimal cut-off value for the LCR. The LCR was the most accurate prognosis predictor for patients with stage IV cancer among the 13 inflammatory nutritional markers evaluated. The multivariate-adjusted restricted cubic spline plot suggested that LCR had an L-shaped dose-response association with all-cause mortality risk. Patients with lower LCR levels tended to present with worse prognoses. Kaplan-Meier curves and log-rank test results showed that the high LCR groups (LCR ≥ 2,814) exhibited a better prognosis, whereas patients with stage IV cancer of different sex and tumor types (for example, gastrointestinal tumor, non-gastrointestinal tumor, and lung cancer) had a worse survival time.Conclusion: The LCR score can be regarded as a stable and useful biomarker to predict prognosis in patients with TNM stage IV compared to other evaluated inflammation indicators. In the present study, metallophthalocyanines were modified with NIT nitroxide radicals through chemical bonds to prepare a series of metallophthalocyanines–NIT catalysts (MPcTcCl8-NIT, M=Mn2+, Fe2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+) applied for oxidative desulfurization of thiophene (T) in model fuel. The MPcTcCl8-NIT catalysts were characterized by FTIR, UV-Vis, ESR, and XPS spectra. The oxidative desulfurization activity of MPcTcCl8-NIT catalysts was studied in a biomimetic catalytic system using molecular O2 as the oxidant. The MPcTcCl8-NIT catalysts exhibited high catalytic activities for the oxidation of thiophene in model fuel. The desulfurization rate of ZnPcTcCl8-NIT for thiophene reached to 99.61%, which was 20.53% higher than that of pure ZnPcTcCl8 (79.08%) under room temperature and natural light. The results demonstrated that MPcTcCl8-NIT catalysts could achieve more effective desulfurization rate under milder conditions than that of the metallophthalocyanines. The NIT nitroxide radicals also could improve the catalytic activity of metallophthalocyanine based on the synergistic oxidation effect. The stability experiments for ZnPcTcCl8-NIT showed that the catalyst still had a high desulfurization rate of 92.37% after five times recycling. All these findings indicate that the application of MPcTcCl8-NIT catalysts provides a potential new way for the desulfurization performance of thiophene in fuel. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Driven by the Silk Road Economic Belt idea, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region can fully play its regional advantages and innovate the open economic system. It can transform and upgrade industrial structures with strong regional characteristics and advantages in Shihezi.Objective: The purpose is to explore the impact of knowledge-based employee incentive mechanism (EIM) on innovation performance. It is hoped to innovate the knowledge-based worker (KBW) management in Shihezi enterprises.Methods: Based on the psychological theory, the actual production, and living conditions in Shihezi, a questionnaire survey is conducted on the KBWs of typical enterprises in Shihezi. The questionnaire is designed by considering the characteristics of KBWs in Shihezi City under the Development Strategy of Western Chinese Cities. In addition, relevant structural equation models and hypotheses are proposed to comprehensively explain the relationship between psychological capital (PsyCap), EIM, and employee innovation performance (EIP).Results: Among the KBWs of Shihezi enterprises surveyed, the proportion of male and female employees is basically balanced, and both groups have bachelor's degrees or above. They are mostly young, with a relatively short working year. Most employees are in the rising stage of career development. The overall scores of KBWs on the PsyCap, EWM, and EIP scales are all above 3.5, a high overall score. Model analysis and hypothesis verification show that Shihezi knowledge-based EIM significantly affects EIP and PsyCap. The PsyCap has a positive impact on EIP. The KBWs' PsyCap plays an intermediary role in EIP.Conclusion: The research results provide an objective reference for Shihezi enterprises to improve the innovation performance of KBWs. Adopting the Mahler measure from number theory, we introduce it to toric quiver gauge theories, and study some of its salient features and physical implications. We propose that the Mahler measure is a universal measure for the quiver, encoding its dynamics with the monotonic behaviour along a so-called Mahler flow including two special points at isoradial and tropical limits. Along the flow, the amoeba, from tropical geometry, provides geometric interpretations for the dynamics of the quiver. In the isoradial limit, the maximization of Mahler measure is shown to be equivalent to a-maximization. The Mahler measure and its derivative are closely related to the master space, leading to the property that the specular duals have the same functions as coefficients in their expansions, hinting the emergence of a free theory in the tropical limit. Objective: Evidence for the association between subclinical thyroid dysfunction before conception and its pregnancy outcomes is inconsistent. Thus, we evaluated the relationship between preconception thyroid‐stimulating hormone (TSH) levels and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Design: Retrospective cohort study. Methods: A total of 50,217 women without prior thyroid disease who became pregnant within 1 year after undertaking a routine TSH test in the Chongqing Municipality of China (2010–2016) were studied. Restricted cubic spline regression and logistic regression were used to estimate the association between preconception TSH levels and pregnancy outcomes. The main outcomes were individual and composite adverse pregnancy outcomes (CAPOs) comprising pregnancy loss, small for gestational age, large for gestational age, and preterm birth. Results: Incidence of CAPO was 24.19%. Increased preconception TSH level was positively associated with CAPO (odds ratio [OR]/SD: 1.04, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.01–1.07) when TSH was ≥2.1 mIU/L, positively associated with pregnancy loss (OR/SD: 1.06, 95% CI: 1.01–1.12) when TSH was <2.1 mIU/L, negatively and positively associated with preterm delivery when TSH levels were <1.3 mIU/L (OR/SD: 0.90, 95% CI: 0.83–0.97) and >3.0 mIU/L (OR/SD: 1.08, 95% CI: 1.00–1.17), respectively. Women with subclinical hypothyroidism before conception were at a higher risk for CAPO (adjusted odds ratio [aOR]: 1.12, 95% CI: 1.04–1.22), while those with subclinical hyperthyroidism had a higher risk of preterm delivery (aOR: 1.31, 95% CI: 1.01–1.70). Conclusions: Nonlinear associations were indicated between preconception TSH levels and pregnancy outcomes.
