Mixed crystals of potassium dihydrogen phosphate and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate were grown onto point seeds by the method of temperature reduction. It was found that the regeneration process of zcut point seeds became more and more difficult with increasing KH2PO4concentration in the solution mixture. The interior stress and cracking of the mixed crystals were analyzed by synchrotron Xray topography. Large numbers of stress stripes were found at the seed and sectors boundaries. The lattice parameters of the pyramid and prismatic sectors of the prepared mixed crystal were calculated according to the Xray diffraction patterns. With solution containing 8 mol KH2PO4, the lattice volumes of the prismatic sector of the mixed crystal were 1.3 larger than that of the pyramid sector of the crystal. Chemical etching revealed microcracks with length of hundreds of microns in the mixed crystals, which tended to spread and led to crystal cracking. © 2009 WILEYVCH Verlag GmbH & Co. (Ba0.4Pb0.3)Sr0.3TiO3 thin films were fabricated via pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrate. The crystallization of the films was characterized by XRD and FSEM, and the experimental results suggested deposition parameters, especially the deposition temperature was the key factor in forming the perovskite structure. The dielectric properties of the film deposited with optimized parameters were studied by an Agilent 4294A impedance analyzer at 1 MHz. The dielectric constant was 772, and the loss tangent was 0.006. In addition, the well-shaped hysteresis loop also showed that the film had a well performance in ferroelectric. The saturated polarization P s, remnant polarization P r and coercive field E c were about 4.6 μC/cm2, 2.5 μC/cm2 and 23 kV/cm (the coercive voltage is 0.7 V), respectively. Our hospital has instaled a couple of high temperature and high pressure pulsation sterilizers. However, after the process of disinfection and sterilization, we found that many non-woven bags in which wrapped the contaminated medical devices were wet. This abnormal phenomenon continuously has happened a couple of times. Having excessive condensed water inside the wrap bag wil severely affect the sterilization effect, so we did a scrupulous survey of the phenomenon and the structure of the machine and the steam boiler. At last, we came up with a perfect solution, that is, to make a redesign of the steam boiler and the steam conveying pipeline network.
