Abstract

Blockchain is a decentralised peer to peer ledger of data. It provides features like Immutability, Transparency, and Trustworthiness. Due to all the benefits, blockchain can have a great impact in the field of education. In education, there is already a growing problem of fake certificates. Blockchain can prove to be a great solution to solve this issue. For this purpose, we took a deeper look at what is blockchain and what is being done in the education domain with regards to storing certificates and verification of them using blockchain technology. Abstract

XML is gradually employed as a standard of data exchange in web environment since its inception in the 90s until present. It serves as a data exchange between systems and other applications. Meanwhile the data volume has grown substantially in the web and thus effective methods of storing and retrieving these data is essential. One recommended way is physically or virtually fragments the large chunk of data and distributes the fragments into different nodes. Fragmentation design of XML document contains of two parts: fragmentation operation and fragmentation method. The three fragmentation operations are Horizontal, Vertical and Hybrid. It determines how the XML should be fragmented. Abstract

Operating System (OS) is a critical piece of software that manages a computer's hardware and resources, acting as the intermediary between the computer and the user. The existing OS is not designed for Big Data and Cloud Computing, resulting in data processing and management inefficiency. This paper proposes a simplified and improved kernel on an x86 system designed for Big Data and Cloud Computing purposes. The proposed algorithm utilizes the performance benefits from the improved Input/Output (I/O) performance. The performance engineering runs the data-oriented design on traditional data management to improve data processing speed by reducing memory access overheads in conventional data management. The OS incorporates a data-oriented design to "modernize" various Data Science and management aspects. The resulting OS contains a basic input/output system (BIOS) bootloader that boots into Intel 32-bit protected mode, a text display terminal, 4 GB paging memory, 4096 heap block size, a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) I/O Advanced Technology Attachment (ATA) driver and more. There are also I/O scheduling algorithm prototypes that demonstrate how a simple Sweeping algorithm is superior to more conventionally known I/O scheduling algorithms. A MapReduce prototype is implemented using Message Passing Interface (MPI) for big data purposes. Abstract

One of the main functions of NLP (Natural Language Processing) is to analyze a sentiment or opinion of the text considered. In this research the objective is to analyze the sentiment in the form of tweets towards the Covid-19 vaccination. In this study, the collected tweets are in the form of a dataset from Kaggle that have been categorized into positive and negative depending on the polarity of the sentiment in that tweet, to visualize the overall situation. The reviews are translated into vector representations using various techniques, including BagOf-Words and TF-IDF to ensure the best result. Machine learning algorithms like Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and others, and Deep Learning algorithms like LSTM and Bert were used to train the predictive models. The performance metrics used to test the performance of the models show that Support Vector Machine (SVM) achieved the highest accuracy of 88.7989% among the machine learning models. Compared to the related research papers the highest accuracy obtained using LSTM is 90.59 % and our model has predicted with the highest accuracy of 90.42% using BERT techniques.
