When software systems are introduced, they are typically deployed in field environments similar to those used during development and testing. However, these systems may also be used in various other locations with different environmental conditions, making it challenging to improve software reliability. Factors such as the specific operating environment and the location of bugs in the code contribute to this difficulty. In this paper, we propose a new software reliability model that accounts for the uncertainty of operating environments. We present the explicit closed-form mean value function solution for the proposed model. The model's goodness of fit is demonstrated by comparing it to the nonhomogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) model based on Weibull model, using four sets of failure data sets from software applications. The proposed model performs well under various estimation techniques, making it a versatile tool for practitioners and researchers alike. The proposed model outperforms other existing NHPP Weibull based in terms of fitting accuracy under two different methods of estimation and provides a more detailed and precise evaluation of software reliability. In survival and stochastic lifespan modeling, numerous families of distributions are sometimes considered unnatural, unjustifiable theoretically, and occasionally superfluous. Here, a novel parsimonious survival model is developed using the Bilal distribution (BD) and the Kavya-Manoharan (KM) parsimonious transformation family. In addition to other analytical properties, the forms of probability density function (PDF) and behavior of the distributions' hazard rates are analyzed. The insights are theoretical as well as practical. Theoretically, we offer explicit equations for the single and product moments of order statistics from Kavya-Manoharan Bilal Distribution. Practically, maximum likelihood (ML) technique, which is based on simple random sampling (SRS) and ranked set sampling (RSS) sample schemes, is employed to estimate the parameters. Background: According to Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (2022), neonatal mortality, comprising 67% of under-5 deaths in Bangladesh, is significantly attributed to prematurity and low birth weight (LBW), accounting for 32% of neonatal deaths. Respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) is a prevalent concern among preterm and LBW infants, leading to substantial mortality. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends bubble continuous positive airway pressure (bCPAP) therapy, but the affordability and accessibility of conventional bCPAP devices for a large number of patients become major hurdles in Bangladesh due to high costs and resource intensiveness. The Vayu bCPAP, a simple and portable alternative, offers a constant flow of oxygen-enriched, filtered, humidified, and pressurized air. Our study, conducted in five health facilities, explores the useability, acceptability, and perceived treatment outcome of Vayu bCPAP in the local context of Bangladesh., Methods: A qualitative approach was employed in special care newborn units (SCANUs) of selected facilities from January to March 2023. Purposive sampling identified nine key informants, 40 in-depth interviews with service providers, and 10 focus group discussions. Data collection and analysis utilized a thematic framework approach led by trained anthropologists and medical officers., Results: Service providers acknowledged Vayu bCPAP as a lightweight, easily movable, and cost-effective device requiring minimal training. Despite challenges such as consumable shortages and maintenance issues, providers perceived the device as user-friendly, operable with oxygen cylinders, and beneficial during referral transportation. Treatment outcomes indicated effective RDS management, reduced hospital stays, and decreased referrals. Though challenges existed, healthcare providers and facility managers expressed enthusiasm for Vayu bCPAP due to its potential to simplify advanced neonatal care delivery., Conclusions: The Vayu bCPAP device demonstrated useability, acceptability, and favorable treatment outcomes in the care of neonates with RDS. However, sustained quality service necessitates continuous monitoring, mentoring and retention of knowledge and skills. Despite challenges, the enthusiasm among healthcare providers underscores the potential of Vayu bCPAP to save lives and simplify neonatal care delivery. Development of Standard Operating procedure on Vayu bCPAP is required for systematic implementation. Neonatal seizures can lead to long-term neurodevelopmental problems. This study aims to identify predictors of poor developmental outcomes in neonates with seizures to aid in early intervention and referral for follow-up and rehabilitation. This observational study was conducted in the Department of Neonatology and Institute of Paediatric Neurodisorder and Autism, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Among 75 study cases of neonatal seizure, 23 died, and 46 were followed-up at 6 and 9 months after discharge. EEGs were performed on every patient. A comprehensive neurological examination and developmental evaluation were performed using Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, Third Edition (Bayley III). Three-fourths of neonates were born at term (76.1 %), and over half were male (56.5 %). The majority were appropriate for gestational age (79.7 %) and had an average birth weight of 2607 ± 696 g (±SD). Over half of the neonates (52.2 %) had adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes, with global developmental delay being the most common. Recurrent seizures, the number of anticonvulsants needed to control seizures, and abnormal Electroencephalograms were identified as independent predictors of adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes. Since the areas close to the Sundarbans mangrove estuary, which is one of the most dynamic and productive ecosystems in the world, are very suitable for urban and industrial activities, the coastal areas of this ecosystem are constantly exposed to metal contamination. In this study, we analyzed the levels, spatial distributions, sources, pollution status, ecological risks, and health risks for recreational users of 16 metals in surface water collected from 18 sampling sites in the Sundarbans estuary. Considering the mean values of metals, Sr (2523 μg/L), Al (1731 μg/L), B (1692 μg/L) and Fe (1321 μg/L) were the most abundant metals in the coastal waters of the estuary, while Cd (0.977 μg/L), Ni (3.11 μg/L), Cu (5.98 μg/L) and Cr (9.77 μg/L) were the less abundant metals. All metals except Zr had the coefficient of variation (CV) values of over 35%, suggesting that other metals showed strong variation between sampling sites due to anthropogenic activities. Al, Fe and Pb levels of all sampling sites were above the limit values set for coastal and marine waters. Similarly, Pb levels of all sites exceeded the USEPA chronic criterion set for saltwater aquatic life. The results of pollution indices indicated that there was a serious metal pollution in almost all sampling sites. Low ecological risk (ER) at four sites, moderate ER at five sites and considerable ER at nine sites were recorded. Dual hierarchical clustering analysis grouped 16 metals into four clusters based on their potential sources and 18 sampling sites into three clusters based on their similar pollution characteristics. Health risk assessment results indicated that total hazard index (THI) values of all sites for recreational children were above the acceptable level of 1, indicating that water of all sites is not safe for health of children. However, THI values of all sites except ST8 (1.1) and ST11 (1.19) for recreational adults were below 1. Among the metals studied, Zr was found to be metal that contributes the most (75.89%) to total health risk in this coastal estuary. This finding reveals the necessity of monitoring of such less-studied metals such as Zr in the surface water of coastal estuaries. This paper is interested in the Bayesian and non-Bayesian estimation of the stress-strength model and the mean remaining strength when there is fuzziness for stress and strength random variables having Lindley's distribution with different parameters. A fuzzy is defined as a function of the difference between stress and strength variables. In the context of Bayesian estimation, two approximate algorithms are used importance sampling algorithm and the Monte Carlo Markov chain algorithm. For non-Bayesian estimation, maximum likelihood estimation and maximum product of spacing method are used. The Monte Carlo simulation study is performed to compare between different estimators for our proposed models using statistical criteria. The purpose of this paper is to provide a high-level overview of the most important non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) protocols in 5G and 6G networks that incorporate code division within the context of 3GPP standardization. The article's objective is also to look into and compare the various strategies that have been proposed as a solution to the issue of resource distribution to achieve high performance. Many different NOMA plans for 5G and 6G systems have been suggested by a multitude of businesses. NOMA is currently developing in two primary directions: one of them is with power division, and the other is with code division. During the process of standardization carried out by the 3GPP, the attention of the developers was concentrated in the second direction for the application of NOMA schemes in 5G and 6G systems. Hardware communication, also known as D2D communication, performs a significant role in the process of communication between devices. This will increase the efficiency with which network resources are utilized. Devices are now able to interact directly with one another, avoiding the need for transmission nodes. It also serves as one of the approaches to the problem of limited network coverage, which can be improved by utilizing D2D, and as a result fees and energy can be reduced. Increasing the size of the network is one way to achieve this goal, the explained of NOMA technology as well as its primary benefits in wireless technology. The most common variants of code division NOMA and the characteristics of those variants are discussed, as well as the opportunities and challenges associated with implementing those variants. NOMA protocols allow continuous expansion of wireless communication networks, i.e., 5G and 6G, which leads to enhanced performance of the networks.
