This study aims to (1) comprehensively describe the design of web-based sexual violence information systems (SIM) in universities, (2) Describe sexual violence efforts in (3) Explore and explain the role of web-based Management Information Systems (SIM) in efforts to prevent sexual violence in Higher Education. This research was designed with the type of Research and Development research. This type is directed to show facts or events systematically and accurately regarding certain conditions as the focus of the study. The data collection method is carried out in three ways, including: (1) observation, (2) interview, (3) questionnaire, (4) documentation. All four are carried out in a planned manner to obtain complete and relevant data. The collected data are then analyzed using induction techniques, namely by drawing conclusions ranging from specific statements or facts to conclusions of a general nature. Research reports are presented in the form of detailed descriptive descriptions, equipped with product prototypes, images and tables as the scope of discussion. The findings of this study show that (1) the sexual violence management information system in higher education is a form of service that manages data into information with the support of website facilities as a medium of interaction, (2) efforts to prevent sexual violence in universities include task force making activities, training and workshops on sexual violence assistance, and (3) the role of web-based management information systems in preventing sexual violence in universities as a form of university commitment to make decisions / policies in developing educational institutions, and also helping service users (stakeholders) to channel their aspire for the development of institutions.

This research examines the effect of the blended project-based learning (PjBL) model and creative thinking ability on engineering students' drawing learning outcomes. Using a pre and post-test quasi-experimental design, the research included a sample of 80 students from two different classes at the Faculty of Engineering, UNIMED, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through two-way ANOVA. Subsequently, the results showed that the members of experimental group I, comprising students who participated in the blended PjBL model, obtained the highest engineering drawing learning outcomes. The creative thinking ability outcomes of the students taught with this model were higher than those of the group II students who used the ordinary blended learning model. However, those with low thinking abilities taught with the ordinary model exhibited higher learning outcomes than the experimental group. These results show an interaction between the effect of the PjBL model and creative thinking ability on the learning outcomes of engineering students. Therefore, lecturers need to use a blended PjBL model to ensure improved outcomes, alongside enhancing students' creative thinking abilities to increase the model's effectiveness.

The review explores the philosophical basis of the application of Rosenblatt's Reader Response Theory (RRT) to teach reading-to write of literary works in practical senses in EFL contexts across borders. Grounded in the integration of paradigm shift from text- to reader-oriented, critical pedagogy and literacy, and socio-constructivism, reader response-based teaching pedagogy places learners among the active meaning makers as members of a democratic classroom community while getting immersed in critical reading-writing (literacy) events. Moreover, this critical review highlights the possible classroom practices as framed by RRT principles that offer freedom and enjoyment in reading literary works to face the sophistication of varied modern 21st century educational web-based platforms that lead to the use of e-response journal and e-literature circles by means of e-peer-reviewing. Drawing on the current technology-enriched teaching media, RRT application is expected to benefit most EFL learners in gauging literature-based literacy development to sensitize their intercultural communication across global contexts. Moreover, recommended practical trends of RRT principles are presented in this review.

This research is an evaluation study using context, input, process, and product (CIPP) evaluation model to analyze whether the literacy developed in educational institution has met the acceptable literacy level used in the workplace. Two business E-mails about sales written by a professional writer and a student were analyzed to investigate the contexts and products. Input analysis was carried out on the data from observations and texts while process analyis was performed on the data elicited from observations. All four analyses were also supported by data elicited through interviews from both writers. The results of CIPP analysis indicated both similarities and differences between the two E-mails which reflected the literacy levels of both writers. In context analysis, both E-mails used mixed literacy types which were realized in 11 language aspects. The differences were in the cognitive process involved in the professional writer's performance that showed a high literacy level while the student's E-mail presented a low to medium literacy level. According to the input analysis results, both writers used most of the available designs as intangible resources except for style and declarative knowledge. There were differences in using the instructional materials and people as tangible resources. In process analysis, although there were similarities in some steps of knowledge building phase; however, some differences were still found between the two writers in this phase and in the phases of modelling, joint construction and independent construction of the text. The results of product analysis showed that the professional writer's E-mail presented a good to excellent literacy level while the literacy level of the student's E-mail ranged between inadequate and fair. The differences indicate that the literacy developed in educational institution does not meet the requirements of literacy used genuinely.

The present study analyses the impoliteness of criticism over social status and distance, incorporating the concept of "levels of imposition." Criticism as a fundamental speech act is commonly used by people in the modern era, either in the digital world or the real world. It usually contains impoliteness if it embodies negative behavior, conveying criticism. This study belonged to an interlanguage pragmatics study and used forty participants from English language learners having Javanese backgrounds. It also applied the role play technique to take data to be analyzed using mixed method analysis. The data showed that the criticizer performed various impoliteness strategies in criticism, considering familiar and unfamiliar relationships in different social status levels. They mainly performed bald-on-record impoliteness and adhered to other strategies such as negative, positive, and mock politeness. Besides that, delivering criticism in high intonation was also perceived as a part of impoliteness. This paper describes the design and implementation of a portable internet of things (IoT)-based system for online monitoring of soil nutrients, specifically nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), to improve precision and efficiency in smart farming. The main goal is to use IoT technology to analyze soil conditions on-site and provide advice about fertilization and soil management. The system measures soil nutrient levels using field-based sensors, such as an NPK probe, and transmits data over a wireless sensor network. The research comprises a quantitative evaluation of the performance of the IoT system using various sensors. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the accuracy of the IoT device with industrial soil nutrient measurement equipment, demonstrating differences in P and K values but not in N values. This disparity points to certain areas where the accuracy of the P and K measurements in the IoT system should be improved. This IoT-based soil nutrient monitoring system highlights the potential of smart farming technology to boost agricultural output, optimize resource consumption, and support sustainable farming practices. The system's portability and online data availability provide farmers with exact soil condition information, allowing them to make more efficient and intelligent farming decisions. This study explores the development and evaluation of an internet of things (IoT) system for real-time soil nutrient monitoring, focusing on crucial soil parameters such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (NPK), and pH. By integrating message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) as the communication protocol, the system ensures low latency, reliable data transmission, and effective management of soil data. The tested NPK and pH sensors showed high accuracy and reliability, with the pH sensor providing highly consistent readings, while the NPK sensor demonstrated variability but reliably tracked nutrient trends. We highly recommend further calibrating the NPK sensor to significantly improve its accuracy across various soil conditions. The IoT system, Soil Station 2.0, effectively assists in decision-making for fertilization and soil management, improving crop yields and soil health. GPS testing of the system revealed high positional accuracy, which is suitable for precision agriculture. MQTT data transmission's testing showed differences in latency, indicating the need for system optimization for large data transmissions. Overall, the system demonstrated good accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in supporting agricultural decision-making and environmental monitoring. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aimed to analyze the quality of Apis mellifera-produced honey generated from 6 mo old Acacia crassicarpa nectar at 28 d harvest period. The tests referred to the procedures required by the Indonesia National Standard (SNI) 8664-2018. The quality variables tested were of odor and taste and diastase enzyme activity as well as hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), water, reducing sugar (glucose), sucrose, acid, water insoluble matter, and ash contents. The data were analyzed by using the student t test, where one sample group was prepared to compare each honey quality variable with the quality standard value. The results showed a distinctive smell and taste of honey, enzyme activity > 1.52 DN, HMF 0 mg kg-1, water content 24.2 % w w-1, reducing sugar content 66.56 % w w-1, sucrose content 1.50 % w w-1, acidity 113.05 NaOH kg-1, water insoluble matter content 0.018 % w w-1, and ash content 0.26 % w w-1. It is concluded that the quality variables for honey samples that met the quality requirements were odor and taste, HMF, reducing sugar, sucrose, water insoluble matter, and ash. Meanwhile, those that do not meet the quality requirements are the activity of the attached enzyme, water content and acidity.
