Abstract In order to further improve the accuracy of short‐term traffic flow prediction on designated sections of highways, a combined prediction model is designed in this paper to predict the traffic flow on designated sections of highways. Firstly, for the shortcomings of artificial rabbits optimization (ARO) algorithm, sine cosine ARO (SARO) is proposed by incorporating sine cosine algorithm (SCA) idea into ARO, and introducing the non‐linear sinusoidal learning factor. Secondly, three mobile inverted bottleneck convolution (MBConv) modules are utilized to form the MB3 module, and with BiGRU are utilized to form the MB3‐BiGRU combined prediction model. Finally, the MB3‐BiGRU model is optimized by SARO to achieve short‐term prediction of traffic flow. The analysis results show that using the United Kingdom highway dataset as the data source, the SARO‐MB3‐BiGRU presented in this paper reduces the root mean squared error (RMSE) by 32.58%, the mean absolute error (MAE) by 30.25%, and the decision coefficient (R2) reaches 0.96729, as compared to BiGRU. Compared with other common models and algorithms, the SARO has good solving capabilities and versatility, and the SARO‐MB3‐BiGRU model has been greatly improved in terms of prediction accuracy and generalization ability, which has better prediction ability and engineering reference value.

Abstract The emerging pseudohalide metal-free perovskite (pseudohalide–MFPs) X-ray detector caters to the demands of timely mobile diagnosis owing to its lightweight, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. However, the performance of these devices is severely limited by poor X-ray absorption, ultra-wide band gap, relative instability, and their unknown biotoxicity. Herein, we construct heavy atom covalent bonds (C–Br/Cl) on the A-site organic cation to reinforce component coordination to modulate X-ray absorption and band gap in pseudohalide–MFPs and further enhance its stability. Molecular dynamics simulations demonstrate that the introduction of halogen atoms can strengthen hydrogen bonding interactions, thereby improving the coordination between different components. The resultant (MDABCOBr)–NH4(BF4)3 (MDABCO = N-methyl-N’-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octonium) single crystal significantly increases X-ray absorption cross-section and crystalline density (from 1.728 to 1.950 g cm−3), and synergistically realizes the band nature modulation (from 7.4 to 5.5 eV) and enhanced ionic migration inhibition (628 meV) with optimized stability. As such, our X-ray detectors realized a sensitivity of 2377 μC Gyair −1 cm−2, an ultralow detection limit of 50.1 nGyair s−1, and impressive operation stability. Moreover, cytotoxicity assay confirmed the compatibility of pseudohalide metal-free perovskite. Finally, within this framework, we successfully fabricate the (MDABCOBr)–NH4(BF4)3-based flexible device to create an ideal in vitro wearable X-ray detection.

Objective The pedicle screw technique has been widely used in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis orthopedic surgery, but misplacement of screws may damage important structures such as blood vessels and nerves around the pedicle, resulting in serious consequences. Therefore, our research team has independently developed a surgical tool to assist in the placement of pedicle screws. This study aims to investigate the safety and accuracy of postural awareness tool assisted nail placement in orthopedic surgery for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Method A retrospective analysis was performed on 24 adolescent patients with idiopathic scoliosis admitted to our hospital from July 2019 to July 2022, including 10 males and 14 females, with an average age of 14.88 ± 2.36 years (10–19 years). The mean follow‐up was 15.67 ± 2.20 months (12–20 months). We divided the patients into postural awareness group (n = 12) and C‐arm group (n = 12) according to whether the postural awareness surgical tool was used during the operation. All patients were treated with posterior spinal orthopedic surgery. The postural awareness group was assisted by pedicle screw placement with a postural awareness surgical tool, while the C‐arm group was given a pedicle screw placement with freehand technique. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative fluoroscopy times, nail placement related complications, nail placement accuracy, and scoliosis correction rate were recorded and compared between the two groups. Highlights The classification of 2D perovskite is summarized, and the preparation methods of 2D perovskite according to the requirements of X-ray detection materials are introduced. We analyzed the advantages and insufficiency of different devices and introduced improvement measures, including ion migration, charge transfer performance, stability, and 2D/3D heterojunctions. Finally, we introduced the potential preponderances of 2D perovskite in the scintillation detection field; meanwhile, the main challenges facing the practical application of 2D perovskite X-ray detectors are analyzed.

BackgroundThe relationship between exposure to organophosphate esters (OPEs) and the risk of developing overactive bladder (OAB) is uncertain. The purpose of this study is to examine the potential link between urinary metabolites of organophosphate esters and OAB.MethodData from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) database of the 2011–2016 cycles were utilized. Four urinary metabolites of organophosphate esters: diphenyl phosphate (DPHP), bis (1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate (BDCPP), bis (2-chloroethyl) phosphate (BCEP), and dibutyl phosphate (DBUP) were included in the study. Multivariate logistic regression and restricted cubic spline (RCS) were used to evaluate the relationship between urinary OPEs metabolites and OAB. Interaction analysis was conducted on subgroups to confirm the findings.ResultsA total of 3,443 United States (US) adults aged 20 years or older were included in the study, of whom 597 participants were considered to have OAB. After adjusting for potential confounding factors, we found a positive association between DPHP and the risk of overactive bladder. The risk of overactive bladder increased with increasing DPHP concentrations compared with quartile 1 (quartile 2, OR = 1.19, 95% CI, 0.82–1.73, P = 0.34; quartile 3, OR = 1.67, 95% CI, 1.10–2.53, P = 0.02; Q4, OR = 1.75, 95% CI, 1.26–2.43, P = 0.002). However, after dividing the participants by gender, only the female group retained consistent results. Additionally, restricted cubic spline analysis revealed a nonlinear dose-response correlation between DPHP and OAB in female participants. In the subgroup analysis based on age, race, body mass index (BMI), recreational activity, smoking status, drinking status, hypertension, diabetes, and stroke, the interaction analysis revealed that the findings were uniform.ConclusionOur findings indicate that exposure to DPHP could elevate the risk of OAB in US adult females. Further experimental studies are needed to explore the underlying mechanism in the future.

Abstract Organic‐inorganic halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have drawn tremendous attention as their power conversion efficiency (PCE) has soared to 25.2%. Yet the most efficient halide perovskite materials all contain the toxic element lead (Pb). The search for an alternative element is a crucial research direction. Among all candidates, tin (Sn) appears to be the most promising one for its nontoxicity and physical similarity to lead (Pb). Herein, we review and summarize recent advancements in this emerging research area of Sn‐based perovskites. First, we discuss the photophysical dynamics of the Sn‐based perovskites and the relatively high efficiency of corresponding PSCs and other applications. Then, the attention is focused on the fabrication process and methods to improve the performance of Sn‐based photovoltaic devices. Despite the fact that the stabilities of the materials and related devices are far from perfect, the Sn‐based perovskites are still the best candidates with vast potential among all the Pb‐free perovskites for PSC application.

We report a novel Mn-Co-Ni-O (MCN) nanocomposite in which the p-type semiconductivity of Mn-Co-Ni-O can be manipulated by addition of graphene. With an increase of graphene content, the semiconductivity of the nanocomposite can be tuned from p-type through electrically neutral to n-type. The very low effective mass of electrons in graphene facilitates electron tunneling into the MCN, neutralizing holes in the MCN nanoparticles. XPS analysis shows that the multivalent manganese ions in the MCN nanoparticles are chemically reduced by the graphene electrons to lower-valent states. Unlike traditional semiconductor devices, electrons are excited from the filled graphite band into the empty band at the Dirac points from where they move freely in the graphene and tunnel into the MCN. The new composite film demonstrates inherent flexibility, high mobility, short carrier lifetime, and high carrier concentration. This work is useful not only in manufacturing flexible transistors, FETs, and thermosensitive and thermoelectric devices with unique properties but also in providing a new method for future development of 2D-based semiconductors.

Here we propose a novel quartz micromachined gyroscope. The sensor has a simple cross-fork structure in the x-y plane of quartz crystal. Shear stress rather than normal stress is utilized to sense Coriolis’ force generated by the input angular rate signal. Compared to traditional quartz gyroscopes, which have two separate sense electrodes on each sidewall, there is only one electrode on each sidewall of the sense beam. As a result, the fabrication of the electrodes is simplified and the structure can be easily miniaturized. In order to increase sensitivity, a pair of proof masses is attached to the ends of the drive beam, and the sense beam has a tapered design. The structure is etched from a z-cut quartz wafer and the electrodes are realized by direct evaporation using the aperture mask method. The drive mode frequency of the prototype is 13.38 kHz, and the quality factor is approximately 1,000 in air. Therefore, the gyroscope can work properly without a vacuum package. The measurement ability of the shear stress detection design scheme is validated by the Coriolis’ force test. The performance of the sensor is characterized on a precision rate table using a specially designed readout circuit. The experimentally obtained scale factor is 1.45 mV/°/s and the nonlinearity is 3.6% in range of ±200 °/s.

A novel quartz micromachined gyroscope is proposed in this paper. The novel gyroscope is realized by quartz anisotropic wet etching and 3-dimensional electrodes deposition. In the quartz wet etching process, the quality of Cr/Au mask films affecting the process are studied by experiment. An excellent mask film with 100 Å Cr and 2000 Å Au is achieved by optimization of experimental parameters. Crystal facets after etching seriously affect the following sidewall electrodes deposition process and the structure’s mechanical behaviours. Removal of crystal facets is successfully implemented by increasing etching time based on etching rate ratios between facets and crystal planes. In the electrodes deposition process, an aperture mask evaporation method is employed to prepare electrodes on 3-dimensional surfaces of the gyroscope structure. The alignments among the aperture masks are realized by the ABM™ Mask Aligner System. Based on the processes described above, a z–axis quartz gyroscope is fabricated successfully.

Structure optimization and simulation analysis of the quartz micromachined gyroscope are reported in this paper. The relationships between the structure parameters and the frequencies of work mode were analysed by finite element analysis. The structure parameters of the quartz micromachined gyroscope were optimized to reduce the difference between the frequencies of the drive mode and the sense mode. The simulation results were proved by testing the prototype gyroscope, which was fabricated by micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology. Therefore, the frequencies of the drive mode and the sense mode can match each other by the structure optimization and simulation analysis of the quartz micromachined gyroscope, which is helpful in the design of the high sensitivity quartz micromachined gyroscope.

The vibration characteristic analysis method for a quartz microgyroscope based on the admittance circle is reported in this paper. Admittance theory is introduced and the admittance circle principle is analysed to study the vibration characteristics of the quartz microgyroscope. The prototype gyroscope was fabricated by micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology. The admittance and phase diagram of the work mode were obtained by vibration mode test systems. Then the admittance circle of the work mode was drawn, and the parameter identification of the transfer function between the voltage and current was completed to analyse the vibration characteristics. Therefore, the vibration characteristic analysis method based on the admittance circle can be used to build the transfer function of the quartz microgyroscope, which is helpful for the design of a high performance quartz microgyroscope.
