Entrepreneurship is a global phenomenon because it contributes to economic growth, maintenance of social stability, and reduced unemployment. However, the role of entrepreneurial orientation in Vietnamese universities remains blurred. This study aims to understand the role of university education in shaping the entrepreneurial intention of Vietnamese students through entrepreneurial orientation, perceived desirability, and perceived feasibility. The PLS-SEM technique with SmartPLS 4 software tested the research model and hypotheses. The data set was collected from May 2023 to June 2023 via Google Forms with 411 respondents. The results show that entrepreneurial education has the most decisive impact on perceived desirability, followed by perceived feasibility, and both of these factors have a substantial impact on entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Based on the results, the research has suggested practical implications that enhance entrepreneurial intention and promote the development of Vietnam's economy.

Sarcomas, particularly undifferentiated small round cell sarcomas of bone and soft tissue, pose significant diagnostic challenges due to their nonspecific morphology and the necessity for comprehensive molecular analyses. This paper discusses a rare case of round cell sarcoma exhibiting the EWSR1-CREM fusion, offering insights into the complexities of its diagnosis and management. The patient, a 15-year-old female with a history of Type 1 diabetes, presented with persistent right thigh tenderness and swelling. MRI revealed a large necrotic mass in the retroperitoneal region. Histological analysis showed a well-demarcated tumor with diverse cellular morphologies and distinct necrotic areas. Immunohistochemical (IHC) tests identified dot-like staining for Desmin and Vimentin but negative results for several markers, including Cytokeratin and CD45. Strong ALK positivity was noted. Next-generation sequencing with the Illumina TruSight™ Oncology 500 assay revealed the fusion gene EWSR1-CREM, along with benign and uncertain mutations in other genes. The tumor’s morphology and immunoprofile, along with molecular findings, led to a diagnosis of round cell sarcoma with EWSR1-CREM fusion. This case adds to the spectrum of tumors associated with this fusion, often presenting diverse morphologies. The rarity of EWSR1-CREM fusion sarcomas poses a challenge in treatment, highlighted by the development of pulmonary metastases and disease progression after surgical excision in this patient despite the lack of an effective targeted therapy. In conclusion, this case emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary diagnostic approach in complex sarcomas and highlights the importance of continued research on rare sarcomas, their genetic underpinnings, and potential therapeutic targets.

Abstract Osimertinib is approved as the first‐line treatment for advanced non‐small cell lung cancer patients with epidermal growth factor (EGFR) mutation and for patients who develop EGFR T790M mutation during EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) treatment and disease progression. Asymptomatic elevation of aminotransferase levels is commonly observed during TKI treatment; however, significant hepatotoxicity is infrequent. Here, we report a patient with osimertinib‐related drug‐induced liver injury who was successfully managed with osimertinib rechallenge.

Objectives: This study aims to determine cirrhotic patients’ clinical and laboratory characteristics, thereby examining the correlation between lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio and Child–Pugh and MELD/MELDNa scores. Methods: A cross-sectional study with an analysis of 153 patients admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology–Clinical Hematology at Can Tho Central General Hospital. Data were collected via patient interviews and medical records. Results: The included patients were more likely to be male (66.7%) and were ≥60 years old (51.6%). Excessive alcohol consumption and hepatitis B were the dominant causes of cirrhosis (35.3% and 34.0%). The clinical and laboratory characteristics were similar to previous studies in cirrhotic patients. The mean Child score was 9.3 ± 2.1, including 9.8% of patients with Child A, 44.4% for Child B, and 45.8% for Child C. The mean MELD and MELDNa scores were 16.9 ± 7.1 and 19.4 ± 8.1, respectively. The mean lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) is 2.0 ± 2.2 (from 0.09 to 25.3), being negatively correlated with the other scores (Pearson correlation coefficients were −0.238; −0.211 and −0.245, respectively, all p-values < 0.01). Patients with LMR below 3.31 were more likely to be classified as Child–Pugh B and C. Conclusion: The correlation between LMR with Child–Pugh, MELD, and MELDNa scores was weak and negative.

Background: Thymoma is an epithelial mass arising from the thymus. Most thymomas are located in the anterior mediastinum. Ectopic intrapericardial thymoma is very unusual; to date, only eight cases of pericardial thymoma have been reported. Among thymoma patients, 20% to 25% are associated with myasthenia gravis. However, postoperative myasthenia gravis occurs in less than 1% of cases. Here, we share a rare case of ectopic intrapericardial thymoma that developed postoperative myasthenia gravis six months after surgery. Case presentation: A 66-year-old woman visited the outpatient department due to productive cough and chest pain. Chest radiography showed increased soft tissue opacity over the mediastinum. A soft tissue mass in the pericardium and a ground glass nodule in right upper lung were noted using chest computed tomography. The diagnosis of thymoma, type B2, pT3N0M0, and stage IIIA and synchronous adenocarcinoma in situ of the right upper lung was confirmed after surgical removal. Six months later, the patient developed postoperative myasthenia gravis. Conclusions: Thymoma is rarely considered a differential diagnosis in pericardial tumors. Surgical removal with adjuvant radiation therapy should be performed considering the malignancy potential of thymomas and cardiac complications. In patients without myasthenia gravis, a small chance of postoperative myasthenia gravis remains. Patients should be carefully monitored for myasthenia gravis after surgery.

Intestinal intussusception is relatively rare in adults and accounts for approximately 5% of intestinal obstruction. Intussusception is classified into subtypes according to the location, including ileoileal, ileocolic, ileo-ileocolic, colo-colic, jejuno-ileal, or jejuno-jejunal; the ileocolic type being the most common. However, intussusception of a combination of different subtypes has rarely been reported in the available literature. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) is the most accurate tool to evaluate intestinal intussusception. The pathological lead point in the intestine typically results in adult intussusception. Surgical intervention is usually adopted in cases of adult intussusception due to a high incidence of underlying bowel malignancy. An inflammatory fibroid polyp (IFP) is one of the uncommon benign neoplasms of the gastrointestinal (GI) system, which can result in intestinal intussusception. Herein, we present a case of a 50-year-old female with combined ileoileal and ileocolic intussusception, which was initially diagnosed by abdominal CT. Therefore, laparoscopic right hemicolectomy surgery was performed, confirming the final diagnosis as ileoileal and ileocolic intussusception secondary to IFP.

This paper presents a 591×438-DPI ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The sensor is based on a piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducer (PMUT) array that is bonded at wafer-level to complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) signal processing electronics to produce a pulse-echo ultrasonic imager on a chip. To meet the 500-DPI standard for consumer fingerprint sensors, the PMUT pitch was reduced by approximately a factor of two relative to an earlier design. We conducted a systematic design study of the individual PMUT and array to achieve this scaling while maintaining a high fill-factor. The resulting 110×56-PMUT array, composed of 30×43-μm2 rectangular PMUTs, achieved a 51.7% fill-factor, three times greater than that of the previous design. Together with the custom CMOS ASIC, the sensor achieves 2 mV kPa-1 sensitivity, 15 kPa pressure output, 75 μm lateral resolution, and 150 μm axial resolution in a 4.6 mm×3.2 mm image. To the best of our knowledge, we have demonstrated the first MEMS ultrasonic fingerprint sensor capable of imaging epidermis and sub-surface layer fingerprints.

The current study examined the phonolexical processing of Mandarin segments and tones by English speakers at different Mandarin proficiency levels. Eleven English speakers naive to Mandarin, 15 intermediate and 9 advanced second language (L2) learners participated in a word-learning experiment. After learning the sound and meaning of 16 Mandarin disyllabic words, they judged the matching between sound and meaning pairs, with half of the pairs being complete matches while the other half contained segmental or tonal mismatches. The results showed that all three groups were more sensitive to segmental than tonal mismatches. The two learner groups outperformed the Naive group on segmental mismatches but not on tonal mismatches. However, their reaction times revealed that the learners but not the Naive group attended to tonal variations. The current findings suggest that increasing L2 experience has limited benefit on learners' phonolexical processing of L2 tones, probably due to their non-tonal native language background. Experience in a tonal L2 may enhance learners' attention to the tonal dimension but may not necessarily improve their accuracy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
