본 연구의 목적은 부모의 조건부 관심과 고등학생의 완벽주의와의 관계 및 이들 사이에서 내현적 자기애가 매개하는지 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구를 위해 고등학생 357명을 대상으로 자기보고형식의 설문지로 실시하였다. 연구 도구는 부모의 조건부 관심 척도, 다차원적 완벽주의 척도, 내현적 자기애 척도를 사용하였으며, 분석 방법은 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 성별에 따른 부모의 조건부 관심, 내현적 자기애, 완벽주의는 유의한 차이는 없었다. 둘째, 부모의 조건부 관심은 부적응적 완벽주의 및 적응적 완벽주의, 내현적 자기애와 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 셋째, 부모의 조건부 관심과 부적응적 완벽주의 관계에서 내현적 자기애는 부분 매개의 역할을 수행하였으며, 부분 매개의 역할은 유의한 것으로 조사되었다. 반면 부모의 조건부 관심과 적응적 완벽주의와의 관계에서 내현적 자기애는 매개하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 부모의 조건부 관심이 자녀의 부적응적 완벽주의와 내현적 자기애의 원인이 될 수 있다는 점을 경험적으로 확인함으로써 조건부 관심 양육의 예방 및 개선을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 점에 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of task and relationship conflict on job burnout and the moderating effects of achievement motivation of engineers in plant design and engineering division. To study this investigation, 483 questionnaires were collected from the staff in big and medium size engineering companies in Seoul. The result of this study was summarized as below; Firstly, task and relationship conflicts have positive relationship on emotional exhaustion and cynicism. Secondly, relationship conflicts have negative relationship on reduction of accomplishment but task conflicts showed no relation on it. Thirdly, interaction effects of task and relationship conflict, and achievement motivation showed significant moderating effects on job burnout partially. In conclusion, conflicts were identified as significant predictor variable on job burnout and achievement motivation showed the moderating effects partially. Accordingly, as per meaningful results of this study, it was proposed ideas to utilize these results in counseling for prevention of job burnout.

Urban African American first-year high school students' absenteeism was found to be negatively related to grade point average (GPA) and avoidance as a means of coping (use of substances as a way to escape—food, alcohol, smoking, caffeine, etc.) and positively related to use of social support as a means of coping (efforts to stay emotionally connected with people through reciprocal problem solving and expression of affect). Nonattenders tend to have lower GPAs, report using avoidance less often as a means of coping, and report using social support more often. In other words, those students who attend school most frequently tend to have higher GPAs, use avoidance more often as a means of coping, and use members of their social support less often than do those who have more absences. Implications are discussed for educational reform, school counseling service delivery, and future research.
