Subsea pipelines operate in harsh marine environments, and corrosion is the major cause threatening their operational safety. In this paper, the failure pressure of pipelines with multiple corrosion defects under combined loadings is investigated. A finite-element model of a pipeline with multiple corrosion defects is developed, and this model is verified with experiments. The effect of defect depth, axial, and circumferential spacings between corrosion defects on the pipeline's residual strength is estimated. Furthermore, the failure pressure of a pipeline with multiple corrosion defects under combined loadings, such as internal pressure, axial pressure, and bending moment, is examined. To study the compressive mechanics properties of pillar centered cubic lattice with dif-rent reinforcement directions and their filling structures, silicone rubber filled lattice structure test pecimens were prepared herein. The compressive mechanics properties of two lattice structures(BCC1 r BCC2, loading direction was either the same or perpendicular to the direction of pillar rod in body ntered cubic lattice with pillars) filled with silicone rubber were studied through experimental and mulation methods. The equivalent elastic modulus and compressive platform stress of two lattice ructures were conducted using Timoshenko beam theory and ultimate load method. The results indi-te that the proposed theoretical model may effectively predict the equivalent elastic modulus and ompressive platform stress of two type lattice structures. After filling, the compression strength and nergy absorption performance of the two lattice structures are enhanced, while the enhancement fect of the BCC2 structure is more significant. For the BCC1 lattice, rubber filling enhances the aring capacity of the internal members. However, for the BCC2 lattice structure, rubber filling re-ces the bending deformation of the members near the V-shaped shear band. As the radius of the lattice tructure increases, the energy absorption coupling factors of both lattice structures first increase and hen decrease, yet the energy absorption coupling factor of BCC1 type structure changes more significantly [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The most damaging disease affecting citrus globally is Huanglongbing (HLB), primarily attributed to the infection by ' Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus' ( Ca Las). Based on comparative transcriptome data, two cellulose synthase (CESA) genes responsive to Ca Las infection induction were screened, and one gene cloned with higher differential expression level was selected and named CsCESA1 . we verified the interaction between CsCESA1 and citrus exopolysaccharide 2 (CsEPS2) proteins. Subcellular localization in tobacco indicated that both CsCESA1 and CsEPS2 proteins are primarily located in the nucleus and cytoplasm. RT-qPCR analysis indicated that the expression levels of CsCESA1 and CsEPS2 were associated with variety tolerance, tissue site, and symptom development. Furthermore, we generated CsCESA1 and CsEPS2 silencing plants and obtained CsCESA1 and CsEPS2 silencing and overexpressing hairy roots. The analysis of hormone content and gene expression also showed that CsCESA1 and CsEPS2 are involved in transcriptional regulation of genes involved in systemic acquired resistance (SAR) response. In conclusion, our results suggested that CsCESA1 and CsEPS2 could serve as potential resistance genes for HLB disease, offering insights into the plant's defense mechanisms against HLB.
