For the nonlinear systems with input delay, an adaptive fixed-time tracking control strategy based on multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN) is proposed for the first time. First, to address the main challenge brought by input delay, an auxiliary system is constructed, which transforms the input delay systems into non-delay systems. Second, the MTNs are introduced into the backstepping design process, which reduce the design difficulty by approximating unknown nonlinear functions. Thus, a control scheme subject to low complexity is obtained. Third, aside from ensuring that the tracking error converges within a small neighbourhood of the origin within a fixed-time, the designed control scheme not only makes all signals in the closed-loop system remain bounded, but also avoids the problem of finite-time control relying on initial state. In this article, the problem of adaptive finite‐time tracking control for a class of nonlinear systems subject to backlash‐like input hysteresis and multiple objective constraints is investigated. For the purpose of realizing multiple objective constraints, a new time‐varying barrier function (TVBF) is introduced to ensure that all objective constraint functions are always within the defined range. Meanwhile, based on the combination of the command filter approach and adaptive backstepping control, an error compensation system (ECS) is supplied to reduce the impact of filter error on control performance. Additionally, the problem of "singularity" caused by hysteresis is avoided by linearizing the backlash‐like hysteresis model, and Nussbaum‐type function is also applied to reduce the influence of hysteresis on the stability of the system. Then, by combining multi‐dimensional Taylor network (MTN) technology and command filter backstepping approach, an adaptive finite‐time control strategy is designed. The proposed control strategy ensures that all the signals in the closed‐loop system realize finite‐time semi‐globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB), and the output signal of the system can track the reference signal greatly while adhering to multiple objective constraints. In this paper, an adaptive prescribed performance tracking control(PPTC) problem of uncertain nonlinear systems with unknown hysteresis input is investigated. For the purpose of implementing the PPTC, a performance function and an error conversion function are introduced. Moreover, a backlash-like hysteresis model is adopted to describe the hysteresis nonlinearity, which makes the controller design feasible. Additionally, by converting the backlash-like hysteresis model into a linear model with bounded error, the difficulties caused by hysteresis behavior on controller design are settled. Thus, integrating multi-dimensional Taylor network(MTN) approximation technique into adaptive backstepping method, an adaptive control scheme for uncertain nonlinear systems is proposed. Apart from ensuring that all signals of the closed-loop system keep bounded, the proposed control scheme not only makes the tracking error converge to an arbitrarily small neighborhood around the origin, but also guarantees the tracking error trajectory within the limits set by PPTC. For the tracking control problem of a class of nonlinear systems with input saturation constraint and time-varying delay, an adaptive tracking control scheme based on multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN) is designed, and the proposed control scheme has the advantages of simple structure and small computation. A Gaussian error function is introduced to transform the input saturation into a linear model with bounded error. The Lyapunov-Krasovskii function is constructed, and the nonlinearity of the system is approximated using MTN, and an adaptive control strategy is constructed based on the backstepping method. The results show that the proposed control method can both ensure that all signals in the closed-loop system are bounded and achieve convergence of the tracking error to a small neighborhood near the origin. In this paper, the problem of sampled-data adaptive tracking control for a class of switched nonlinear systems with prescribed performance is considered. In order to guarantee the system is stable and achieves the prescribed performance in sampled-data control, a coordinate transformation satisfying the prescribed performance is introduced. In addition, the neural networks (NNs) used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions and the backstepping technique are applied to design the sampled-data controller and the adaptive laws. An upper bound on the sampling period is obtained to maintain the stability of the systems. It is confirmed that the designed sampled-data scheme ensures that all signals of the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) and the tracking error is limited to the prescribed performance function. Summary: In this paper, an event‐triggered adaptive tracking control strategy is proposed for strict‐feedback stochastic nonlinear systems with predetermined finite‐time performance. Firstly, a finite‐time performance function (FTPF) is introduced to describe the predetermined tracking performance. With the help of the error transformation technique, the original constrained tracking error is transformed into an equivalent unconstrained variable. Then, the unknown nonlinear functions are approximated by using the multi‐dimensional Taylor networks (MTNs) in the backstepping design process. In this paper, the control issue of adaptive fault-tolerant is studied for a class of stochastic nonlinear systems with multiple faults and full state constraints, with multiple faults including the actuator faults and the external system fault. The problem with full state constraints are solved by constructing a logarithmic barrier Lyapunov functions (BLFs). By integrating multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN) technology into the backstepping process, a new adaptive MTN-based fault-tolerant controller is designed. On the basis of considering multiple faults, the proposed control strategy can ensure that all signals in the closed-loop system are semi-global ultimately uniformly bounded (SGUUB) in probability, and all states of the system are constrained within the given boundary. This paper considers the problem of randomly varying trial lengths of a class of two-dimensional (2D) linear systems represented by Roesser model, and two new iterative learning control (ILC) schemes are proposed. One is a conventional P-type control rule with a modified tracking error; the other is an ILC law with an iteration-average operator. Both learning control schemes are developed by a 2D stochastic variable to describe varying trial lengths. Under the Bernoulli distribution assumption and the initial state conditions, the convergence analysis is performed rigorously in the probability sense. For a class of stochastic nonlinear systems, this paper proposes a novel event-triggered adaptive control scheme by means of multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN) approach for the first time, which has the advantages of alleviating computational burden and reducing communication frequency. In addition, the event-triggered control (ETC) strategy can effectively save network resource by alleviating the computational burden and reducing the communication frequency. In this article, the problem of event‐triggered adaptive asymptotic tracking control (ATC) for stochastic nonlinear systems with unknown control directions (UCDs) and full state constraints is concerned. It must be said that the controller design and system analysis is more complex and difficult since the existence of stochastic disturbances, UCDs and full state constraints simultaneously. By introducing the lower bound of the UCDs into the barrier Lyapunov functions, an event‐triggered adaptive MTN ATC scheme is proposed based on the boundary estimation method and a new event‐triggered control (ETC) strategy, which can achieve satisfactory asymptotic tracking performance and control performance of the system, while reduce the occupation of network resources. The simulation results not only verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme, but also present different tracking performances between three ETC strategies for comparison, further confirming the superiority of the proposed ETC strategy in achieving asymptotic tracking performance. Summary: This paper focuses on an adaptive decentralized prescribed performance control problem for a class of large‐scale stochastic nonlinear systems with asymmetric input saturation and full state constraints. Firstly, the obstacle of input saturation is overcome by introducing the Gaussian error functions. Secondly, the transient performance of the system output is realized by introducing the asymmetric error transfer functions. Thirdly, the full state constraints are considered in the backstepping control process, and the boundary of state constraints is ensured by constructing barrier Lyapunov functions. For switched nonlinear systems with output hysteresis, by working on multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN), an adaptive control strategy is put forward, which can effectively solve the tracking control problem. Firstly, the modified Bouc–Wen hysteresis model is employed to cope with the nonlinear problem caused by output hysteresis. Secondly, the Nussbaum function is introduced into the control design process, and MTN is used to approach nonlinear structures. Thirdly, a novel network adaptive control strategy is constructed with the help of a common Lyapunov function, which can realize the tracking control and stability of the system simultaneously. It is worth noting that as a new type of neural network, MTN is first used for control of switched systems with output hysteresis. For the large-scale nonlinear systems subject to dynamic uncertainties, an adaptive multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN)-based decentralized control strategy is proposed, which can effectively solve output tracking control problem of the systems. Firstly, a dynamic signal is introduced to cope with the problem of unknown nonlinear dynamic uncertainties. Secondly, in each step of the backstepping, only one MTN is used to approximate the combination of unknown nonlinear functions. Then, in the last step of the backstepping, a new adaptive control scheme is designed, which realizes the stability and boundedness of the controlled systems. It is worth noting that the large-scale nonlinear systems, the unknown dynamic uncertainties and the MTN appear in the same framework for the first time. This paper investigates the adaptive decentralized control problem for a class of large‐scale nonlinear systems with finite‐time output constraints. In order to ensure that the tracking errors are constrained within a predefined boundary in finite time, a novel adaptive barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) control method is proposed by combining the modified finite‐time performance function (FTPF) in the first step of backstepping process. Besides, the mean value theorem and regulating functions are employed to handle the difficulties caused by interconnection functions in large‐scale systems.
