Background: The hydrogen evolution reaction is a crucial step in electrochemical water splitting to generate molecular hydrogen with high purity, but it usually suffers from a sluggish reaction kinetics in alkaline media because of additional water dissociation and/or improper adsorption energy of reactive hydrogen intermediates. It is desirable to design highly active and robust nonprecious electrocatalysts as alternatives to state-of-the-art commercially available Pt/C catalysts for large-scale hydrogen production via water-alkali electrolysis. Methods: We developed monolithic nanoporous hybrid electrodes composed of electroactive Mo@MoOx nanoparticles, which are seamlessly integrated on hierarchical nanoporous Cu scaffold (Cu/Mo@MoOx) by making use of a spontaneous phase separation of Mo nanoparticles and subsequently, self-grown MoOx in chemical dealloying. Results: Owing to the unique monolithic electrode architecture, in which the constituent Mo@MoOx nanoparticles work as electroactive sites and the hierarchical nanoporous Cu skeleton serves as fast electron-transfer and mass-transport pathways, the monolithic nanoporous Cu/Mo@MoOx hybrid electrode exhibits superior electrocatalysis in 1 M KOH, with a low Tafel slope of 66 mV dec−1 and outstanding stability. It only takes them ~185 mV overpotential to reach −400 mA cm−2, ~150 mV lower than that of nanoporous Cu supported Pt/C. Conclusion: The outstanding electrochemical performance and excellent structural stability make nanoporous Cu/Mo@MoOx electrodes attractive alternatives to Pt/C catalysts in alkaline-based devices.

Objective To investigate the safety and feasibility of laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) in the treatment of giant ovarian cysts. Methods A total of 76 patients with giant ovarian cyst (diameter ≥ 10 cm) who received surgical treatment in our hospital from January 2018 to May 2021 were divided into experimental cohort (single-port laparoscopic cohort) (n = 30) and control cohort (traditional laparoscopic cohort) (n = 46).The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative cyst fluid spillage rate, application of postoperative analgesic drugs, postoperative first anus exhaust time, incidence rate of perioperative complications, length of postoperative hospital stay and other clinical indicators were summarized and analyzed between the two cohorts. Results The LESS cohorts had an earlier onset of age[ (27.6 ± 8.4) ,years of age], shorter of operation time [(82.2 ± 16.0)min], less of intraoperative blood loss [( 17.5 (10-22.5) ml)] as compared with traditional laparoscopic cohort[ (40.9 ± 15.5 )years of age, (102.7 ± 26.2)min, (20 (18.7–35) )m,P ༜ 0.05]. The first postoperative exhaust time,the rate of postoperative analgesic drugs, incidence rate of perioperative complications and postoperative hospital stay in two cohorts were in the similar line. Conclusion After adequate evaluation and screening of patients, the size of ovarian cysts cannot be the reason for refusing LESS surgery. It is safe and feasible for clinical promotion in the management of giant ovarian cysts.

Background Neuroendocrine tumors of the ovary are uncommon malignant carcinomas with a poor prognosis. There are no standardized management guidelines because of lack of knowledge about these tumors. The objective of this study is to analyze the clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of ovarian neuroendocrine tumors (ONETs). Results Median age at diagnosis was 38.4 years (range 20–58). The main clinical presentations were abdominal pain or a pelvic mass. Two patients underwent fertility-sparing surgery and the others underwent cytoreductive surgery. The finial diagnosis depended on postoperative histopathology. According to the staging standard of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), three patients had stage I disease, one stage II, and six patients had stage III disease. Eight patients received chemotherapy alone postoperatively, one was maintained with Olaparib after chemotherapy, and one received chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy. The follow-up time for patients raged from 10 to 48 months. One patient died, while the other 9 patients were in follow-up. Seven patients experienced tumor recurrence. Conclusion Ovarian neuroendocrine tumors are characterized by high malignancy, low incidence and poor prognosis. Histopathological analysis is considered the gold standard for diagnosis. Surgical resection may be the first choice of therapy, and adjuvant chemotherapy and possible radiotherapy may prolong the survival of some patients.

Secondary renal involvement in chronic exposure to metallic mercury is well known. Mercury also causes central nervous system damage and demyelinating polyneuropathy. Here, we describe a case of a patient with daily exposure to mercury in skin lightening cream and hair dyes who was diagnosed with Guillain–Barre syndrome and then developed nephrotic syndrome because of membranous neuropathy. By reviewing the literature describing mercury-associated diseases, we found that mercury components have an immunomodulatory activity, which is also involved in both peripheral neuropathy and glomerulonephritis.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic surgery for women with heterotopic pregnancy. Method: The clinical outcomes of 12 patients with intrauterine and ectopic pregnancy undergoing laparoscopic operation were analyzed retrospectively. Results: The products of ectopic pregnancy were removed by laparoscopically. The median operation time was 12 minutes, and the average blood loss was 21.4 ml. There were no postoperative complications. The wounds recovered well in all cases. Among these women, ten delivered at term whereas two failed to continue their pregnancies, one had an abortion after 8 days of the surgery and another one had an abortion due to preterm premature rupture of the membrane at 15 gestational weeks. Conclusion: Laparoscopic surgery is an effective technique in successful management of heterotopic pregnancy.

The paper tries to app ly real optionsanalysis approach to evaluate this Coal-to-liquid project, simulate the fluctuation of oil price by a designed softwareand also compare the operating value and the value of waiting to invest in this Coal-to-liquid project.

Considering the situation of Inner Mongolia and the international oil industry, two new forces, ‘government regulation’ and ‘industry fluctuation’, are added to the ‘five forces’ analysis model to be a ‘Seven Forces’ analysis model, which is to be used to analyze the competitiveness of Inner Mongolia CTL project. In addition, real options are introduced to compare the competitiveness of CTL in different uncertainties.

The characteristic time τD for decoherence process of a quantum nonlinear oscillator system under a non-zero temperature thermal bath is studied by expanding the linear entropy. By numerical analysis, it is shown that at a non-zero temperature, the quantum coherence decays much faster than at zero temperature. Moreover, the non-zero temperature thermal bath will bring a crucial suppression to the quantum effects of the observables, which causes these quantum effects to become unable to persist up to the Ehrenfest time but is insufficient to destroy the quantum-classical transition.
