Abstract

Naringenin (NRG), a flavanone compound present in citrus fruits, has a variety of beneficial physiological active functions such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and hypoglycaemic. In this study, an sensor was constructed by electrodeposition and used for the electrochemical study of NRG. Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and glutathione (GSH) showed the ability to synergistically amplify NRG signals and possessed good linearity in the concentration range of 10.00–1200.00 μ mol l−1. The linear equation is Ip = 0.0776logc + 0.9353 (R2 = 0.9901), and the limit of detection is 3.33 μ mol l−1. The sensor performed well in terms of reproducibility, stability, and selectivity, which in turn enabled the detection of NRG in tomatoes. The average recovery of the sensor is 95.68% to 111.92%, with RSD less than 11.89%. The results were also verified by Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy(UV-vis). Furthermore, density-functional theory was employed to analyse the front track of the NRG, speculating that the NRG underwent a transfer of two electrons and two protons. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

39. Improvement of the electrochemical properties of Na2MnPO4F by dual modification of Na3V2(PO4)2F3 and Ti3C2-CQDs.

Abstract

The effects of the two materials, Ti3C2-CQDs and Na3V2(PO4)2F3, on the electrochemical properties of Na2MnPO4F were systematically investigated by double modification of Na2MnPO4F by spray drying method combined with high-temperature calcination. Firstly, different ratios of xNa2MnPO4F-(1-x)Na3V2(PO4)2F3 materials were synthesized and discussed to obtain 0.6Na2MnPO4F-0.4Na3V2(PO4)2F3 material as optimal ratio. Ti3C2-CQDs were added on this basis, and electrochemical tests were performed at the same time. The initial discharge-specific capacity of 0.6Na2MnPO4F-0.4Na3V2(PO4)2F3/Ti3C2-CQDs was 137.4 mAh-g−1, indicating that Ti3C2-CQDs can improve the electronic conductivity as well as the ion diffusion rate of the material and the capacity retention rate. Na3V2(PO4)2F3 can effectively inhibit the Jahn–Teller effect, enhance the stability of the material structure, and improve the electrochemical activity of the material. The synergistic modification leads to a double enhancement of the electrochemical performance of Na2MnPO4F. 48. A fluorescence visual detection for glyphosine based on a biomass carbon quantum dot paper-based sensor.

Abstract

Pesticide residues are a serious problem towards agriculture, environment and food safety, so it is highly desirable to develop a swift, efficient and portable pesticide detection method. A fluorescence visual sensing method for glyphosine based on a nitrogen-doped biomass carbon quantum dot (N-CQD) paper-based sensor was developed. The fluorescence signal was quenched by Fe3+ in a static quenching process, and then the fluorescence of N-CQDs was recovered after adding glyphosine. Under the optimal experimental conditions and when tested with a fluorescence spectrofluorometer, the detection of glyphosine showed a two-stage linear pattern in the range of 0.1–0.6 μM and 0.6–1.6 μM with a detection limit of 0.075 μM. Then, the RGB values of different concentrations of glyphosine on the filter paper chip were detected by the software of the smartphone-color identifier. The logarithm of the glyphosine concentration was linearly related to the G value of RGB in the range of 0.25–10.00 mM and with a detection limit of 0.15 mM. The method was applied to measuring glyphosine-spiked juice and flour samples, and the recovery rates were 87.60–112.69% and 93.27–105.83%, respectively. The proposed N-CQDs/Fe3+ system had wide applications, and it was expected to be fast and effective at detecting pesticide residues. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
