Various finger dimensions of interdigitated electrodes in TiO2-B2O3 nanocomposite sensors were proposed in this study. To study the silver diffusement effect on the hydrogen sensing characteristics at different operating temperatures. The result showed that some of the silver particles diffused to the surface of the TiO2-B2O3 nanocomposite sensor after the annealing process at 500°C. The amount of silver particles diffused into the TiO2-B2O3 surface was contributed by the finger dimension of the interdigitated electrode used in the nanocomposite sensor. The results revealed that the structure of interdigitated electrodes in T65 nanocomposite sensor enhanced the performance at low hydrogen concentrations with response values were approximately 4.78, 11.47, 14.47, 16.58, and 20.00 for 100 ppm, 300 ppm, 500 ppm, 700 ppm, and 1000 ppm, respectively, at the optimum operating temperature of 200°C. This paper addresses the bandwidth limitations inherent in microstrip patch antennas, which are commonly employed in radar applications owing to their compact size and integration convenience. To overcome these limitations, this study explores the application of Prosopis Africana conductive ink-based thick film, an innovative and environmentally friendly material. Originating from the African mesquite tree, this ink exhibits high conductivity owing to its elevated carbon content, presenting a compelling solution for enhancing microstrip patch antenna bandwidth. The research entails thoroughly examining microstrip antenna design principles and associated challenges, followed by exploring the unique properties of Prosopis Africana conductive ink. A detailed methodology outlines the fabrication process of the ink-based thick layer or film on the substrate, with simulation and measurements employed to evaluate its impact on impedance matching and radiation characteristics. Emphasizing the eco-friendliness of Prosopis Africana conductive ink aligning with green electronics trends, the study showcases its potential for advancing wireless communication systems while reducing ecological footprints. Results demonstrate a substantial bandwidth improvement exceeding 1.85 GHz, a simulation |S11| return loss value of -16.19 dB, and achieved 84.5% radiation efficiency of the operating frequency at 9.5 GHz and a peak realized gain of 7.10 dB. Hence, integrating Prosopis Africana conductive ink-based thick film is a viable strategy for augmenting microstrip patch antenna bandwidth, rendering them more adept for radar applications. The Terahertz (THz) band antenna configuration operates in the 0.1-10 THz frequency range and offers a stable performance for future 6th Generation (6G) wireless communication systems. However, the available metallic axial mode helix antenna designs exhibit a peak directivity of lower than 18 dBi within 0.5-1 THz, making it inappropriate to be applied in wireless communication systems. Therefore, this study proposed a high-performance THz metallic five-turn axial mode helix antenna with an optimised truncated hollow cone ground plane for 6G wireless communication systems. Following the creation of the proposed antenna design using cost-effective copper (annealed), the truncated hollow cone ground plane of the THz axial mode helix antenna was optimised via simulation in a Computer Simulation Technology Microwave Studio (CST MWS) software and a verification of the proposed THz antenna design in Analysis System High-Frequency Structure Simulator (Ansys HFSS) software for a fair comparison. Based on the results, the proposed THz metallic axial mode helix antenna with optimised truncated hollow cone ground plane recorded an impedance bandwidth of 0.46 THz, Fractional Bandwidth (FBW) of 61.33% for |S11| ≤ -10 dB, and a maximum directivity and realised gain of 21.8 dBi and 21.5 dBi at 0.85 THz, respectively. Within the 0.5-1 THz, the proposed optimised THz antenna design achieved an outstanding performance, including an FBW of more than 50%, excellent directivity of higher than 15.8 dBi, radiation efficiency of greater than 87%, circular polarisation, and low-profile helix turns. This work enlightened the synthesis of graphenated-carbon nanotubes sheet (g-CNT) using the floating-catalyst chemical vapor deposition method (FCCVD) for dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) application. The carbon injection flow rate in the experiment was varied to 6, 8, and 10 ml/h. The morphological findings revealed that the g-CNT formed a highly conductive network. Excellent conductivity was obtained for the sample g-CNT8 (34.5 S/cm) compared to the sample g-CNT6 (11.2S/cm) and CNT10 (4.76 S/cm). This excellent feature is due to the hybrid structure of the g-CNT8, which creates efficient electron transfer in the materials resulting in higher conductivity. The hybrid structure provides a high surface area that improves conductivity. Therefore, the g-CNT sheet is an excellent candidate to replace the conventional platinum used as a counter electrode (CE) in DSSC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
