In order to effectively treat skin diseases, an accurate and prompt diagnosis is required. In this article, a novel method for classifying skin disorders using a multimodal classifier is presented. The proposed classifier utilizes multiple information sources to enhance the accuracy of disease classification. It incorporates images of skin lesions and patient-specific data. The multimodal classifier simultaneously classifies diseases by combining image and structured data inputs. The effectiveness of the proposed classifier was evaluated using the ISIC 2018 dataset, which includes images and clinical data for seven categories of skin diseases. The results indicate that the proposed model outperforms conventional single-modal and single-task classifiers, achieving an accuracy of 98.66% for image classification and 94.40% for clinical data classification. In addition, we compare the performance of the proposed model with that of other methodologies, demonstrating its superiority. Despite yielding promising results, the proposed method has limitations in terms of data requirements and generalizability. Future research directions include incorporating additional information sources, investigating genetic data integration, and applying the method to various medical conditions. This study illustrates the potential of integrating multimodal techniques with transfer learning in deep neural networks to enhance the classification accuracy of cutaneous diseases. La problématique de l’évaluation des apprentissages au sein d’un MOOC suscite un grand débat. Ce type d’environnements d’apprentissage offre des cours limités dans le temps, organisés en ligne et ouverts à tous. L’apprentissage au sein des MOOC consiste en l’échange du savoir entre les participants et l’interaction avec les concepteurs (forum, chat, etc.) en se libérant des contraintes de temps et d’espace. En effet, le MOOC est un outil d’apprentissage en ligne et rythmés. L’évaluation des apprentissages au sein des MOOC représente un pilier essentiel pour la favorisation d’un apprentissage rythmé. Cet apprentissage libère les apprenants dans le temps et dans l’espace. Les concepteurs des MOOC ont largement investi sur des modalités d’évaluation automatisées, tels que des modes de la correction automatique (les quiz ou les questionnaires à choix multiples). Pourtant, ces modalités restent très limitées face au développement d’une pensée critique au cours d’une séquence d’apprentissage. Dans ce papier nous allons aborder les techniques et les méthodes d’évaluation qui permettent de mesurer l’atteinte des objectifs d’apprentissage dans un MOOC. Ensuite, nous présentons l’architecture d’un modèle d’apprentissage basé sur les agents susceptibles de fournir une évaluation formative et personnalisé de cours en ligne massifs.

Handwriting recognition is a multi-step process that includes data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification in order to create a final prediction. This process becomes more and more delicate when dealing with the scriptures of college or secondary school learners. The primary purpose of this research is to offer an improved model for classifying images of computer science words vocabulary written by learners. Indeed, the aim is to develop a reliable handwriting recognition system for the benefit of the educational field. The proposed recognition model based on the combination of four pre-trained CNNs models, namely ResNet50 V2, MobileNet V2, ResNet101 V2, and Xception. Our earlier established Computer Science Vocabulary Dataset (CSVD) is used to build and validate the proposed concatenated model. Then, we have applied preprocessing operations to reduce irregularities, like fuzzy letters and distorted undefined symbols. The proposed CNN model is trained on the concatenated features generated by the four pre-trained CNNs using a parallel deep feature extraction approach. To evaluate the performance of our recognition system, we have used different common evaluation measures. The average accuracy of the proposed system for handwritten words vocabulary is 99.97%, and the overall loss rate is 3.56%. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is the most prevalent coronavirus infection with respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, dyspnea, pneumonia, and weariness being typical in the early stages. On the other hand, COVID-19 has a direct impact on the circulatory and respiratory systems as it causes a failure to some human organs or severe respiratory distress in extreme circumstances. Early diagnosis of COVID-19 is extremely important for the medical community to limit its spread. For a large number of suspected cases, manual diagnostic methods based on the analysis of chest images are insufficient. Faced with this situation, artificial intelligence (AI) techniques have shown great potential in automatic diagnostic tasks. This paper aims at proposing a fast and precise medical diagnosis support system (MDSS) that can distinguish COVID-19 precisely in chest-X-ray images. This MDSS uses a concatenation technique that aims to combine pre-trained convolutional neural networks (CNN) depend on the transfer learning (TL) technique to build a highly accurate model. The models enable storage and application of knowledge learned from a pre-trained CNN to a new task, viz., COVID-19 case detection. For this purpose, we employed the concatenation method to aggregate the performances of numerous pre-trained models to confirm the reliability of the proposed method for identifying the patients with COVID-19 disease from X-ray images. The proposed system was trialed on a dataset that included four classes: normal, viral-pneumonia, tuberculosis, and COVID-19 cases. Various general evaluation methods were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model. The first proposed model achieved an accuracy rate of 99.80% while the second model reached an accuracy of 99.71%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
