Abstract Septins are a family of cytokinesis-related proteins involved in regulating cytoskeletal design, cell morphology, and tissue morphogenesis. Apart from cytokinesis, as a fourth component of cytoskeleton, septins aid in forming scaffolds, vesicle sorting and membrane stability. They are also known to be involved in the regulation of intracellular calcium (Ca2+) via the STIM/Orai complex. Infertility affects ~ 15% of couples globally, while male infertility affects ~ 7% of men. Global pregnancy and live birth rates following fertility treatment remain relatively low, while there has been an observable decline in male fertility parameters over the past 60 years. Low fertility treatment success can be attributed to poor embryonic development, poor sperm parameters and fertilisation defects. While studies from the past few years have provided evidence for the role of septins in fertility related processes, the functional role of septins and its related complexes in cellular processes such as oocyte activation, fertilization, and sperm maturation are not completely understood. This review summarizes the available knowledge on the role of septins in spermatogenesis and oocyte activation via Ca2+ regulation, and cytoskeletal dynamics throughout pre-implantation embryonic development. We aim to identify the currently less known mechanisms by which septins regulate these immensely important mechanisms with a view of identifying areas of investigation that would benefit our understanding of cell and reproductive biology, but also provide potential avenues to improve current methods of fertility treatment.

Pendidikan kewirausahaan telah menjadi fokus utama bagi banyak lembaga pendidikan tinggi sebagai respons terhadap tuntutan pasar kerja yang semakin kompleks dan persaingan yang semakin ketat. Di tengah kemajuan teknologi yang pesat dan transformasi digital, keterampilan adaptasi, inovasi, dan pengambilan risiko sangat berharga. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis terkait peran pendidikan kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi dalam meningkatkan daya saing mahasiswa dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode kualitatif, mengutamakan analisis literatur sebagai sumber data. Dengan menggunakan basis data seperti Google Scholar, artikel diidentifikasi, disaring berdasarkan relevansi, dan dianalisis secara induktif untuk mengekstraksi dan mensintesis data. Validitas dijamin melalui dokumentasi sistematis dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program kewirausahaan secara signifikan membentuk sikap dan keterampilan wirausaha mahasiswa. Tantangannya termasuk integrasi kurikulum, pengembangan keterampilan lunak, dan penyesuaian dengan kemajuan teknologi. Keberhasilan program kewirausahaan tidak hanya diukur dari berdirinya bisnis tetapi juga dampaknya pada masyarakat. Kolaborasi dan peningkatan berkelanjutan penting. Dengan demikian pendidikan kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan daya saing mahasiswa. Upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas, relevansi, dan inklusivitas program merupakan hal penting. Upaya ini sangat vital dalam membentuk generasi wirausaha yang inovatif dan berpengaruh, mengatasi tantangan, dan memanfaatkan peluang dalam dunia bisnis yang kompetitif saat ini.

Abstract Axon initial segment (AIS) cell surface proteins mediate key biological processes in neurons including action potential initiation and axo-axonic synapse formation. However, few AIS cell surface proteins have been identified. Here, we use antibody-directed proximity biotinylation to define the cell surface proteins in close proximity to the AIS cell adhesion molecule Neurofascin. To determine the distributions of the identified proteins, we use CRISPR-mediated genome editing for insertion of epitope tags in the endogenous proteins. We identify Contactin-1 (Cntn1) as an AIS cell surface protein. Cntn1 is enriched at the AIS through interactions with Neurofascin and NrCAM. We further show that Cntn1 contributes to assembly of the AIS extracellular matrix, and regulates AIS axo-axonic innervation by inhibitory basket cells in the cerebellum and inhibitory chandelier cells in the cortex.

The focus of this study aims to analyze the egoistic, biospheric and green self-identity values of green purchase intentions in Indonesia who have experience consuming green brands. Because the research approach used purposive nonprobability sampling, questionnaire techniques and PLS data analysis were chosen. The results of this study show that egoistic value has a positive effect on green self-identity but negatively on green purchase intention. The value of the biosphere hurts green self-identity but positively on green purchase intention. Finally, green self-identity has a positive effect on green purchase intention. Of course, this will be an essential contribution to future research as additional knowledge, especially for governments, developers, managers or other business actors in realizing environmentally friendly behaviour. The practical and theoretical implications of this study are discussed in more depth.

This research explores the multifaceted concept of religious moderation within the context of Islamic education in Indonesia. The study investigates four primary aspects: the foundational idea of religious moderation, its diverse perspectives and approaches, the implications of religious moderation in education, and its practical implementation in Islamic educational institutions. Various perspectives on religious moderation education, including theological-normative, sociological, anthropological, and cross-cultural communication perspectives, are examined in detail. Normatively, religious moderation education is guided by the concept of "wasathiyyah" (middle path) along with its defining characteristics. In the sociological aspect, the cultivation of religious moderation is achieved through socialization, fostering individuals to become responsible members of society and citizens who exhibit religious moderation in their social interactions. In the anthropological aspect, religious moderation education is realized through processes of acculturation, encompassing enculturation, socialization, and internalization. Furthermore, the communication aspect highlights the significance of cross-cultural communication as a means to promote religious moderation by facilitating middle-ground communication between diverse cultural backgrounds. The study also underscores the presence of religious moderation content within the scientific traditions of Islamic boarding schools and colleges, emphasizing the importance of preserving and enhancing this aspect. However, it is noted that there is room for improvement in the realm of madrasas, as they still need to strengthen their focus on religious moderation. This can be achieved through deliberate efforts in socialization and fostering a civilizing environment within the madrasah setting. Additionally, incorporating character moderation into the curriculum structure, hidden curriculum, and extracurricular activities is considered vital in nurturing religious moderation among students in madrasas. In conclusion, this research offers valuable insights into the comprehensive understanding and implementation of religious moderation in Islamic education within the Indonesian context. The findings presented here are significant for educators, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to promote a balanced and moderate approach to religious education in the country.

This study explores management strategies and practices carried out by campus dakwah institutions in building a solid movement ideology within one of the public tertiary institutions in Banjarmasin. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique was done through participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis was done through data reduction, visualization, and conclusion. The study results show that managing campus da'wah institutions involves various strategies that focus on developing a solid movement ideology, namely, partnership cooperation with lecturers, preparation of study materials for campus da'wah institutions, mentoring and strengthening of ideological foundations. The management of campus dakwah institutions plays a significant role in building the movement's ideology at public universities in Banjarmasin. Management strategies and practices carried out by campus da'wah institutions contribute to strengthening movement ideology and increasing the effectiveness of da'wah on campus and in the surrounding community. This research provides guidance and insight for campus da'wah institutions in developing a strong and sustainable movement ideology.

This service aims to practice using Mendeley reference management in Thesis and Scientific Articles of Islamic Education Management students of UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi to comply with the ethical principles of student scientific publications. This service involved all students in semester VI who would be dealing with making final assignments to hold a bachelor's degree with the observation method, namely pre-test activities, the counseling method through PowerPoint material, the practical approach that was direct training, and evaluation activities through post-test. The results of the service that had been carried out in the use of Mendeley reference management for students could be stated that 100% of students could operate Mendeley applications both based on Mendeley Web and Mendeley Desktop in carrying out citations and making automatic bibliography on each student's Thesis and Scientific Articles.

Green fashion telah menjadi tren dan perhatian penting dalam konsep keberlanjutan. Green fashion adalah seni komprehensif multidisiplin dalam mendorong perkembangan pesat keterampilan UMKM fashion yang ramah lingkungan. Konsep green fashion bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan dan menggunakan bahan tidak habis pakai atau limbah, serta bahan-bahan alami menjadi pakaian yang memiliki nilai dan manfaat lebih sebagai orientasi keberlanjutan. Hal paling penting dalam konsep green fashion adalah pengenalan dini terhadap pakaian yang ramah lingkungan dipastikan akan memberikan perubahan signifikan pada UMKM fashion, melalui desain seni, mode etis, dan estetika. Telah lama diakui bahwa konsep green fashion dibangun melalui tiga unsur, yaitu: reduce, reuse, dan recycle yang berlandaskan teori Triple Bottom Line adalah sebuah solusi efektif dan efisien sebagai implementasi dalam mencapai kemakmuran dan keberlanjutan setiap elemen bangsa.

Cooperative learning (CL) has a pivotal role in the teaching and learning process to achieve better academic performance using an attractive teaching trait. This study aims at investigating the use of the Cooperative Learning method type listening team, knowing the students’ response and their learning outcomes in a social science subject. The study is conducted at one of the Public Elementary schools in Rangkasbitung. Classroom Action Research was employed in this study. The Cooperative Learning method type of listening team was conducted within 2 cycles. There are 22 students as the subjects of the current study. The data of the study were collected using two research instruments, they are observation and written test. The results of the study revealed that the activities of both teachers and students in the learning process using a Cooperative Learning type listening team improve students’ learning outcomes. The level of students’ learning mastery in the pre-cycle was 24%, in cycle 1 was 48% and in cycle 2 the passing grade reached 79%. While, the activities of teachers and students increased by 75% in the use of cooperative learning methods of the previous team listening and learning outcomes of students also increased, and 75% of the number of students achieved the standard of minimum completeness of mastery learning predetermined. Based on the data findings, it can be highlighted that the CL method type listening team is an effective method to improve both students’ learning outcomes and their activities during the class.

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan berbagai macam upaya kesehatan yang melibatkan orang banyak seperti penyuluhan kesehatan tidak dapat dilaksanakan. Kader posyandu sebagai agen perubahan perlu melakukan adaptasi dan inovasi agar program kesehatan tetap berjalan. Tujuan pemberdayaan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan, keaktifan dan kemandirian kader posyandu dalam mengedukasi masyarakat di era pandemi. Sasaran pengabdian yaitu 20 kader posyandu Desa Cipancur, Kecamatan Kalimanggis, Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan kader tentang kesehatan reproduksi sebesar 38,40%, meningkatkan kemampuan kader dalam membuat informasi kesehatan menggunakan metode 5W+1H, serta meningkatkan peran kader posyandu sebagai peer educator melalui media sosial. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi efektif promosi kesehatan reproduksi di era pandemi Covid-19.

The recent COVID-19 pandemic led to many drastic changes in not only society, law, economics, but also in science and medicine, marking for the first time when drug regulatory authorities cleared for use mRNA-based vaccines in the fight against this outbreak. However, while indeed representing a novel application of such technology in the context of vaccination medicine, introducing RNA into cells to produce resultant molecules (proteins, antibodies, etc.) is not a novel principle. It has been common practice to introduce/inject mRNA into oocytes and embryos to inhibit, induce, and identify several factors in a research context, while such aspects have also been proposed as potential therapeutic and diagnostic applications to combat infertility in humans. Herein, we describe key areas where mRNA-based platforms have thus far represented potential areas of clinical applications, describing the advantages and limitations of such applications. Finally, we also discuss how recent advances in mRNA-based platforms, driven by the recent pandemic, may stand to benefit the treatment of infertility in humans. We also present brief future directions as to how we could utilise recent and current advancements to enhance RNA therapeutics within reproductive biology, specifically with relation to oocyte and embryo delivery.

This study described the implementation of the morality of santri in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Serang City to prevent radicalism-terrorism under the guise of religion. This study used qualitative research because it concentrated on curiosity about implementing santri's morality in preventing radicalism-terrorism. In collecting research data, researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that students' morality could be improved through the implementation of habituation (habit) of students such as Qiyamul Lail Prayer, Reading, Memorizing and Practicing the Quran, Morning and Evening Remembrance, Learning Faith, Sharia, and Morals. Religious education in Islamic boarding schools has a role in filtering and countering the notion of radicalism-terrorism. Religious education applied in the form of habituation to students in learning according to the curriculum of religious education, especially the education of aqidah firqah (group) Ahlussunnah waljama'ah, Islamic sharia manhaj (method) four schools of thought, and morals tariqah (way) sufism. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi akhlakul karimah santri di pondok pesantren se kota serang dalam upaya mencegah paham-paham radikalisme-terorisme yang berkedok agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, hal ini dikarenakan akan lebih konsentrasi pada keingintahuan tentang implementasi akhlakul karimah santri dalam mencegah radikalisme-terorisme. Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian di lapangan, peneliti menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah akhlakul karimah santri dapat ditingkatkan melalui implementasi pembiasaan (habit) santri seperti Shalat Qiyamul Lail, Membaca, Menghafal dan Mengamalkan Alquran, Zikir Pagi dan Petang, Belajar Ilmu Akidah, Syariah, dan Akhlak. Pendidikan keagamaan di pondok pesantren memiliki peran filterisasi dan menangkal paham radikalisme-terorisme. Pendidikan keagamaan diterapkan dalam bentuk pembiasaan pada santri dalam belajar sesuai dengan kurikulum pendidikan agama terutama pendidikan akidah firqah (golongan) ahlussunnah waljama’ah, syariah Islam manhaj (metode) empat madzhab, dan akhlak thariqah (jalan) tasawuf.

Much of what is known about the mechanisms that control the developmental expression of the myelin proteolipid protein gene (PLP1) has been attained through use of transgenic animal models. In this study, we analyzed expression of related transgenes which utilize PLP1 genomic DNA from either human or mouse to drive expression of a lacZ reporter. Human PLP1 (hPLP1) sequence span either the proximal 6.2 or 2.7 kb of 5′-flanking DNA to an internal site in Exon 2, while those from mouse comprise the proximal 2.3 kb of 5′-flanking DNA to an analogous site in Exon 2. Transgenes with hPLP1 sequence were named, in part, to the amount of upstream sequence they have [6.2hPLP(+)Z/FL and 2.7hPLP(+)Z]. The transgene containing mouse sequence is referred to here as mPLP(+)Z, to denote the species origin of PLP1 DNA. Mice which harbor the 6.2hPLP(+)Z/FL transgene were used as a model system to investigate the developmental expression of splice variants that incorporate supplementary exons from what is classically defined as PLP1 intron 1. While expression of the splice variants were detected in brain through RT-PCR analysis, they are present at much lower levels relative to the archetypal (classic) transcript. Additionally, we show that mice which harbor the 6.2hPLP(+)Z/FL transgene demonstrate wide-ranging expression throughout brain at P2, whereas expression of mPLP(+)Z is quite limited at this age. Therefore, we generated new transgenic mouse lines with the 2.7hPLP(+)Z transgene, which contains hPLP1 sequence orthologous to just that in mPLP(+)Z. Of the seven lines analyzed, six showed higher levels of 2.7hPLP(+)Z expression in brain at P21 compared to P2; the other line expressed the transgene, only weakly, at either age. This trend, coupled with the robust expression observed for 6.2hPLP(+)Z/FL at P2, suggests that the distal 3.5 kb of 5′-flanking PLP1 DNA specific to 6.2hPLP(+)Z/FL contains regulatory element(s) important for promoting early postnatal expression in brain.

White oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is a popular mushroom. Mushroom cultivation produces waste because baglog should be replaced every production cycle. In the location of mushroom cultivation, i.e Kutalimbaru Subdistrict, North Sumatra Province, every year BW are produces about 118 tons. This study was aimed to determine the use of fermented BW as forage in local goat feeding. BW were fermented at different times first, i.e. 7 until 28 days in order to know the best result on Crude Fiber, Crude Protein, Crude Fat and Ash Content. The best result was 21 days fermentation. The research then followed by in vivo of 21 days fermented BW as forage for local goat. The design was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which was consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Materials were 12 local goats, age 6 months, body weight were 12.23±1.51 kg. The result showed that fermented BW could be given up to 15% in the local goat feeding.

A primary reason behind the high level of complexity we embody as multicellular organisms is a highly complex intracellular and intercellular communication system. As a result, the activities of multiple cell types and tissues can be modulated resulting in a specific physiological function. One of the key players in this communication process is extracellular signaling molecules that can act in autocrine, paracrine, and endocrine fashion to regulate distinct physiological responses. Neurotransmitters and neuropeptides are signaling molecules that renders long-range communication possible. In normal conditions, neurotransmitters are involved in normal responses such as development and normal physiological aspects; however, the dysregulation of neurotransmitters mediated signaling has been associated with several pathologies such as neurodegenerative, neurological, psychiatric disorders, and other pathologies. One of the interesting topics that is not yet fully explored is the connection between neuronal signaling and physiological changes during oocyte maturation and fertilization. Knowing the importance of Ca2+ signaling in these reproductive processes, our objective in this review is to highlight the link between the neuronal signals and the intracellular changes in calcium during oocyte maturation and embryogenesis. Calcium (Ca2+) is a ubiquitous intracellular mediator involved in various cellular functions such as releasing neurotransmitters from neurons, contraction of muscle cells, fertilization, and cell differentiation and morphogenesis. The multiple roles played by this ion in mediating signals can be primarily explained by its spatiotemporal dynamics that are kept tightly checked by mechanisms that control its entry through plasma membrane and its storage on intracellular stores. Given the large electrochemical gradient of the ion across the plasma membrane and intracellular stores, signals that can modulate Ca2+ entry channels or Ca2+ receptors in the stores will cause Ca2+ to be elevated in the cytosol and consequently activating downstream Ca2+-responsive proteins resulting in specific cellular responses. This review aims to provide an overview of the reported neurotransmitters and neuropeptides that participate in early stages of development and their association with Ca2+ signaling.

Summary: Background: Early death after cancer surgery is higher in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs) compared with in high-income countries, yet the impact of facility characteristics on early postoperative outcomes is unknown. The aim of this study was to examine the association between hospital infrastructure, resource availability, and processes on early outcomes after cancer surgery worldwide. Methods: A multimethods analysis was performed as part of the GlobalSurg 3 study—a multicentre, international, prospective cohort study of patients who had surgery for breast, colorectal, or gastric cancer. The primary outcomes were 30-day mortality and 30-day major complication rates. Potentially beneficial hospital facilities were identified by variable selection to select those associated with 30-day mortality. Adjusted outcomes were determined using generalised estimating equations to account for patient characteristics and country-income group, with population stratification by hospital. Findings: Between April 1, 2018, and April 23, 2019, facility-level data were collected for 9685 patients across 238 hospitals in 66 countries (91 hospitals in 20 high-income countries; 57 hospitals in 19 upper-middle-income countries; and 90 hospitals in 27 low-income to lower-middle-income countries). The availability of five hospital facilities was inversely associated with mortality: ultrasound, CT scanner, critical care unit, opioid analgesia, and oncologist. After adjustment for case-mix and country income group, hospitals with three or fewer of these facilities (62 hospitals, 1294 patients) had higher mortality compared with those with four or five (adjusted odds ratio [OR] 3·85 [95% CI 2·58–5·75]; p

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the economy of a nation. The aim of research was to know the factors that can increase and effect on increasing of the competitiveness of MSMEs. To achieve this goal, a study was conducted on MSMEs in Regency and Serang City through a population of 26,909. Survey method was used to achieve this goal, while the sampling technique was simple random sampling. Based on this technique, a total sample size of 100 MSMEs was obtained, while the analysis in achieving the objectives used path analysis. The results showed that the innovation variables and the quality of human resources had an effect on the competitiveness of MSMEs. The variable which is significant and affects the competitiveness of MSMEs is the variable of human resources. Theoretically, human resources have a more important role in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs compared to innovation

Abstract Background Although coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) has been associated primarily with pneumonia, recent data show that the causative agent of COVID‐19, the coronavirus severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2), can infect a large number of vital organs beyond the lungs, such as the heart, kidneys, and the brain. Thus, there is evidence showing possible retrograde transmission of the virus from the olfactory epithelium to regions of the brain stem. Methods This is a literature review article. The research design method is an evidence‐based rapid review. The present discourse aim is first to scrutinize and assess the available literature on COVID‐19 repercussion on the central nervous system (CNS). Standard literature and database searches were implemented, gathered relevant material, and extracted information was then assessed. Results The angiotensin‐converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptors being the receptor for the virus, the threat to the central nervous system is expected. Neurons and glial cells express ACE2 receptors in the CNS, and recent studies suggest that activated glial cells contribute to neuroinflammation and the devastating effects of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection on the CNS. The SARS‐CoV‐2‐induced immune‐mediated demyelinating disease, cerebrovascular damage, neurodegeneration, and depression are some of the neurological complications discussed here. Conclusion This review correlates present clinical manifestations of COVID‐19 patients with possible neurological consequences in the future, thus preparing healthcare providers for possible future consequences of COVID‐19.

Purpose – This study aims to find a model and implementation of multicultural Islamic religious education at Darul Muhajirin Praya High School. Design/methods/approach – This research is qualitative research. The data were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Findings – The model and implementation of multicultural Islamic religious education at Darul Muhajirin Praya High School are illustrated by the existence of a curriculum design that is integrated with the school's vision and a multicultural perspective. The implementation model of multicultural Islamic religious education included the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) methods, Student Leadership Basic Training (SLBT) programs, and school cultures such as congregational prayers, Friday prayers at the Great Mosque of Praya, religious discussions across schools, and individual and social piety. Research implications/limitations – This study provides an overview of the model and implementation of multicultural Islamic religious education through the study of case studies in high schools. This study presents findings that can have implications for the direction of determining Islamic education and learning policies in schools. However, this study is limited to the case studies studied so that it allows for different conditions in different cases. Originality/value – This study found the model and implementation of multicultural Islamic religious education at Darul Muhajirin Praya High School. This study presents findings to fill the gaps that occur in the Islamic religious education process, and this research provides an explanation related to school efforts in managing the reality of multicultural life.

This paper aims to explain the principal of the madrasa's leadership in implementing the curriculum program at Madrasa Tsanawiyah Al Ittihadiyah Pangkalan Masyhur Medan. This study used a qualitative method because it revealed madrasa principals' behavior, vice-principal of the madrasa, education staff, and teachers in implementing madrasa curriculum management. For data collection, this study used interview techniques, observation, and document review. The data were collected then analyzed using data reduction steps, data exposure, and concluding. Triangulation techniques were used to ensure the validity of the data, both among participants and between methods. This findings indicated that the madrasa principal's leadership in implementing the curriculum program at MTs Al Ittihadiyah Pkl. Mahsyur is performed effectively. It was indicated by (1) the communication carried out by the principal of the madrasa in socializing the vision, mission, goals, and development of the madrasa curriculum; (2) wise decision making by the principal of the madrasa in curriculum deliberations; (3) exemplary shown by the principal of the madrasa in efforts to develop curriculum; and (4) particular motivation given to teachers in madrasa curriculum development efforts.

This study aims to determine the effect of growth opportunity and return on equity the capital structure of the automotive sub-sector companies and components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018. The sample used in this study is the automotive sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and obtained 8 companies. The data collected is secondary data with the method of documentation through www.idx.com in the form of a company annual report. The analytical tool used for hypothesis testing is SPPS 20. The results of this study are (1) Growth opportunity does not have a significant effect on the company's capital structure. (2) Return on equity has a significant effect on the company's capital structure.

Guna studi penelitian ini mencari pengaruh bauran pemasaran (marketing mix) melalui simultan dan parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian Oppo Smartphone melalui teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Non Probability Sampling. Universitas Serang Raya melalui mahasiswanya ditunjuk sebagai lokasi objek dan subjek penelitian dengan menjadikan mahasiswa Universitas Serang Raya sebanyak 160 orang sebagai sampel. Teknik analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan secarat langsung, simultan dan parsial marketing mix berdampak pada keputusan pembelian Oppo Smartphone.

Islamic educational institutions in South Kalimantan are mushrooming both formally and informally. It is because Muslims are predominantly. They are known to be very religious and even steadfast in applying Islamic values. Most of the educational institutions grow and develop at the initiative of community members (self-help). The distribution of Islamic Religious and Religious Education Institutions in South Kalimantan is 582 institutions. This shows the potential as well as the great responsibility that is carried out in helping the government to realize the goals of National Education. However, it is unfortunate that the diniyah education curriculum experiences stagnation does not up to date. It is not connected to the needs and expectations of the community. It is due to the curriculum tends to focus more on the teacher center. Therefore, the curriculum needs to be adjusted to the needs and expectations of the community. Hence, there is no gap between educational institutions and the community. The research method of this study used Research and Development (R&D). The approach used 2 steps, namely preliminary activities and curriculum improvement (development). The data resources obtained from questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentaries. Participants are ustadz/ustadzah who teach subjects on diniyah curriculum, experts, and graduates. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum for diniyah education especially the wustha level in South Kalimantan is needed to be revised or developed. The curriculum should be adjusted to the aspirations, needs, and expectations of the community.

Background The COVID-19 pandemic claimed millions of lives worldwide without clear signs of abating despite several mitigation efforts and vaccination campaigns. There have been tremendous interests in understanding the etiology of the disease particularly in what makes it severe and fatal in certain patients. Studies have shown that COVID-19 patients with kidney injury on admission were more likely to develop severe disease, and acute kidney disease was associated with high mortality in COVID-19 hospitalized patients. Methods This study investigated 819 COVID-19 patients admitted between January 2020-April 2021 to the COVID-19 ward at a tertiary care center in Lebanon and evaluated their vital signs and biomarkers while probing for two main outcomes: intubation and fatality. Logistic and Cox regressions were performed to investigate the association between clinical and metabolic variables and disease outcomes, mainly intubation and mortality. Times were defined in terms of admission and discharge/fatality for COVID-19, with no other exclusions. Results Regression analysis revealed that the following are independent risk factors for both intubation and fatality respectively: diabetes (p = 0.021 and p = 0.04), being overweight (p = 0.021 and p = 0.072), chronic kidney disease (p = 0.045 and p = 0.001), and gender (p = 0.016 and p = 0.114). Further, shortness of breath (pConclusions Collectively our data show that high creatinine levels were significantly associated with fatality in our COVID-19 study patients, underscoring the importance of kidney function as a main modulator of SARS-CoV-2 morbidity and favor a careful and proactive management of patients with elevated creatinine levels on admission.

Oocyte activation, a fundamental event during mammalian fertilisation, is initiated by concerted intracellular patterns of calcium (Ca2+) release, termed Ca2+ oscillations, predominantly driven by testis-specific phospholipase C zeta (PLCζ). Ca2+ exerts a pivotal role in not just regulating oocyte activation and driving fertilisation, but also in influencing the quality of embryogenesis. In humans, a failure of Ca2+ release, or defects in related mechanisms, have been reported to result in infertility. Furthermore, mutations in the PLCζ gene and abnormalities in sperm PLCζ protein and RNA, have been strongly associated with forms of male infertility where oocyte activation is deficient. Concurrently, specific patterns and profiles of PLCζ in human sperm have been linked to parameters of semen quality, suggesting the potential for PLCζ as a powerful target for both therapeutics and diagnostics of human fertility. However, further to PLCζ and given the strong role played by Ca2+ in fertilisation, targets down- and up-stream of this process may also present a significantly similar level of promise. Herein, we systematically summarise recent advancements and controversies in the field to update expanding clinical associations between Ca2+-release, PLCζ, oocyte activation and human fertility. We discuss how such associations may potentially underlie defective embryogenesis and recurrent implantation failure following fertility treatments, alongside potential diagnostic and therapeutic avenues presented by oocyte activation for the diagnosis and treatment of human infertility.

Mammalian oocyte activation is initiated by intracellular calcium (Ca2+) oscillations, driven by the testis-specific phospholipase C zeta (PLCζ). Sperm PLCζ analysis represents a diagnostic measure of sperm fertilisation capacity. The application of antigen unmasking/retrieval (AUM) generally enhanced the visualisation efficacy of PLCζ in mammalian sperm, but differentially affected the PLCζ profiles in sperm from different human males. It is unclear whether AUM affects the diagnosis of PLCζ in human sperm. Herein, we examined whether the application of AUM affected the correlation of PLCζ profiles with sperm parameters and fertilisation capacity. PLCζ fluorescence levels and localisation patterns were examined within the sperm of males undergoing fertility treatment (55 patients aged 29–53) using immunofluorescence in the absence/presence of AUM. The changes in PLCζ profiles following AUM were examined in relation to sperm health and fertilisation outcome. AUM enhanced the observable levels and specific localisation patterns of PLCζ in relation to both optimal sperm parameters and fertilisation outcome, without which significant differences were not observed. The extent of the change in levels and localisation ratios of PLCζ was also affected to a larger degree in terms of the optimal parameters of sperm fertility and fertilisation capacity by AUM. Collectively, AUM was essential to accurately assesses PLCζ in human sperm in both scientific and clinical contexts.

The main geological structures in the Dammam Dome are defined by integrating geophysical measurements and applying new methodological approaches. Dammam Dome is characterized by a well-developed fracture/joints system; thus, high complexity of the subsurface is expected. Direct Current Resistivity (DCR) and Seismic Refraction (SR) geophysical survey aimed to map the Dammam Dome’s near-surface features. The geophysical data were acquired along two profiles in the northern part of Dammam Dome. To maximize the results from conducting DCR and SR measurements over a complex area, a combined local and global optimization algorithm was used to obtain high-resolution near-surface images in resistivity and velocity models. The local optimization technique involves individual and joint inversion of the DCR and SR data incorporating appropriate regularization parameters, while the global optimization uses single and multi-objective genetic algorithms in model parameter estimation. The combined algorithm uses the output from the local optimization method to define a search space for the global optimization algorithm. The results show that the local optimization produces satisfactory inverted models, and that the global optimization algorithm improves the local optimization results. The joint inversion and processing of the acquired data identified two major faults and a deformed zone with an almost N–S direction that corresponds with an outcrop were mapped in profile one, while profile two shows similar anomalies in both the resistivity and velocity models with the main E–W direction. This study not only demonstrates the capability of using the combined local and global optimization multi-objectives techniques to estimate model parameters of large datasets (i.e., 2D DCR and SR data), but also provides high-resolution subsurface images that can be used to study structural features of the Dammam Dome.

This study aims to develop a model of creativity and innovation in building the entrepreneurial spirit. The population are 145 young people from the study group in Anyer District, Serang Regency. The location selection is based on the fact that young people in that area are more interested in working on the Cilegon industrial area than become entrepreneurs, while business opportunities in the digital economy era are wide open to the younger generation. The research data is collected by giving tests, questionnaires, guidelines, observations, interviews and documentation studies. The data is analyzed using descriptive analysis, percentage, with non-parameter statistics with Microsoft Excel, and SPSS 19. The results of this study show that: 1) model planning is ready to be carried out based on theory and empirical research results in field of entrepreneurship courses in structured concept;. 2) the process of applying this model is carried out in community learning groups through three stages: introductory material, model development, and model testing; 3) the model that encourages the development of creativity and entrepreneurial innovation towards community learning groups is a training model oriented to build the entrepreneurial spirit in the digital economic era; 4) This training model enables the creation of entrepreneurial institutions in the digital economic era that require more creativity and innovation.

Several researchers have utilized multipath summation to manage the common problem of scattered energy within GPR sections. Such energy results in degrading the lateral resolution and continuity of reflectors. If detailed velocity models are known, then it is fairly easy to focus the scattered energy by means of conventional migration methods. However, this is rarely the case in GPR sections, as the common-offset antenna array is mostly used, and therefore cannot provide velocity models. This gives an important advantage for the multipath summation method, which has proved to be successful in focusing such diffractions, without the need to build a detailed migration velocity field model. This multipath summation method is based on stacking (summation) of constant velocity migrated sections (weighted or not) over a predefined velocity range. The main drawback of this technique is the high computational cost and the need for user interference to select the appropriate stacking weights. We developed an improved implementation of the weighted multipath summation method that reduces both the computational cost, and the user interference in stacking weights selections. This data adaptive methodology can expedite the migration process, suppress the need for a detailed velocity model, and reduce the user subjectivity. Moreover, a data adaptive spectral scaling scheme was developed. This is applied on the output of the multipath summation process to reduce the expected blurriness in the resulting GPR sections.

Employees students face major threats related to the development and implementation of the industrial revolution 4.0. However, how employees students handle this situation scientifically is rarely found in the behavioural science literature. This study tries to fill this gap and at the same time extends the Theory of Planned Behavior by adding a variable of religiosity. A total of 421 Muslim students in Banten Province who are still working, were sampled using the purposive sampling method. Structural Equation Modeling is used to test hypotheses simultaneously. The results showed that all independent variables, namely religiosity, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control had a positive effect on the entrepreneurial intentions of employees students. That is, although the influence of religiosity is second only to perceived behavioural control, empirically, extending the theory of planned behaviour with religiosity is still acceptable. For policymakers, the results of this study can be used to make policies that can increase perceptions about the ease of doing business in Indonesia, especially for employees students. This article aims to discuss the Arabic translation of the names of English political doctrines by focusing on Mausū’ah as-Siyāsah written by ‘Abdul-Wahhab alKayyaliy. This research was conducted in three steps, namely data collection, analysis, and presentation of results. The source of this research data is literature data that is the names of political doctrines which was translated to Arabic in Mausū’ah as-Siyāsah. The names are recorded on the data card with certain marks and are classified to obtain terminology that clearly describes the process of its formation. In the next step, the terminologies chosen as a sample are analyzed using the theory of semantic fields. The study shows that the Arabic translation for the names of the political doctrines has two types, namely the Arabization (taʻrīb) and using the equivalent of Arabic. Besides, the translation itsels was conducted through a hermeneutical process in which the translation as much as possible took a high accordance with original English text.

This study aimed to determine the effect of seminal vesicle extract administration to increase the concentration and motility of spermatozoa and testosterone level of kacang goat. The experiment was arranged using a randomly completely block design (RCBD). Three kacang goats were used and each goat received three treatments namely P0 (2 mL of 0.9% NaCl), P1 (1.5 mL Capriglandin, PGF2α), and P2 (2 mL of seminal vesicle extract, EVS). Semen and blood were collected two days post-treatment to measure the concentration and motility of spermatozoa and testosterone level. Testosterone levels were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Duration between treatments was one week after semen collection. The result showed that the average spermatozoa concentration (x106) in P0; P1; and P2 respectively were 2,763.0±395.0; 2,060.00±678.2; and 2,387.0±442.7 (P>0.05), while the spermatozoa motility score in P0; P1; and P2 respectively were 3.7±1.1, 3.4±0.5, and 3.4±0.5 (P>0.05). This study uses a descriptive method and in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 77 respondents who were the samples of this study, the data came from populations that were normally distributed and had the same variance. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement. correlation coefficient R = 0.723, while the coefficient of determination seen from R Square = 0.522 which means that entrepreneurial leadership and motivation of independent variables in explaining the dependent variable by 52.2% the remaining 47.8% is influenced by other factors such as work culture, employee discipline, environment work, etc. which were not included in this study. And there is a significant influence between entrepreneurial leadership and motivation on employee job satisfaction at Serang Raya University in the t test, the results obtained t count> t table (4,281> 1,992), it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between entrepreneurial leadership (X1) and motivation (X2) on employee job satisfaction (Y) at Serang Raya University.

The Influence of Managerial Competence Social Competence School Of Teacher In SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This study aimed to determine the effect of the principal managerial competence of the social competence of teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar. This is a descriptive quantitative research the population of all teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar, which amounted to 74 people. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis with data normality test, product moment, and linear regression analysis. The results showed for the level of managerial competence headmaster of SMAN 11 Makassar are in either category, from the aspects of conceptual abilities, human abilities, and engineering capabilities, to the level of social competence of teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar are in either category, from the aspect of adaptation , communication, and interaction, so there is significant influence between the principal managerial competence with social competence of teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar.

The objective of this research is to determine the estrous performance and steroid level of repeat breeding in Aceh cattle. This research included 17 female Aceh cattle, aged 3-5 years, who had been pregnant at least once. The cows were divided into two groups, fertile cows (n=7) and repeat breeding cows (n=10). All cows were estrous synchronized by 5 ml PGF2α intramuscularly (LutalyseTM, Pharmacia & Upjohn Company, Pfizer Inc.) via double injection pattern, with 11 days interval. Estrous detection to measure the intensity, heat onset and heat duration after PGF2α injection was conducted twice a day at 08.00 and 16.00, each for 30 minutes. Blood collection for progesterone measurement began on the day of the last PGF2α injection, while the blood sample for estradiol was collected during standing heat. Steroid analysis was performed by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay method (ELISA). Injection of the second PGF2 in both treatment groups managed to induce estrus in 5 cows (71.4%) in fertile cow group, and 9 cows (90.0%) in repeat breeding cow group. Intensity, onset, and duration between fertile cows group vs. repeat breeding cows group were 4.0±1.0 vs. 2.9±1.1, 46.4±29.1 vs. 49.8±28.0 hours, and 59.2±34.7 vs. 64.4±42.1 hours, respectively (P>0.05). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan mengambil subjek dan objek penelitian, subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX D di SMP Negeri 1 Bakarangan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dalam bentuk deskriptif, untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik pengolahan data menggunakan editting, dan klasifikasi data. penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan-temuan yaitu : dari hasil wawancara guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Baca Tulis Alquran tersebut sebelum melakukan pengajaran ada hal-hal yang perlu dipersiapkan seperti, buku pembelajaran dan menyiapkan format penilaian apabila melakukan praktik membaca Alquran. Kemudian penulis melakukan observasi pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam membaca Alquran pada SMP Negeri 1 Bakarangan sudah masuk kategori cukup. Meski ada beberapa hal kekurangan dalam membaca Alquran tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh simpulan bahwa tingkat kemampuan peserta didik kelas IX D di SMP Negeri 1 Bakarangan dalam membaca Alquran termasuk dalam kategori cukup, dengan nilai rata-rata (mean) 74,6. This study reports performance of lecturers of Serang Raya University (UNSERA) measured using scorecard balanced approach. This study used survey method describing findings in numerical data and narrative data each of which was incurred in four perspective measures: finance, students’ satisfaction, business, and growth and instruction. Data were collected using questionnaire, documents, and Focus Group Discussion. The study revealed that description of research and social charity in 2011-2014, (1) finance perspectives showed that lecturer incurred small attainment as lecturers received small amount of donor provided by other institutions; (2) a significant increase was achieved in perspectives of growth and instruction in that lecturers were motivated to conduct researches and improved teaching-learning performances; (3) in all, lecturer performance of UNSERA was good, indicated by the increase of journal articles published in national and international journals.

This study was conducted to determine the best level of noni fruit extract (Morinda citrifolia L) addition into citrate-yolk extender on the motility of boer goats spermatozoa preserved at 5℃. Semen was collected using artificial vagina once a week from 1 healthy male aged ±7 years,. The treatments were citrateyolk administrated by noni fruit extracts (P0: 0 g, P1: 2 g/100 ml, P2: 4 g/100 ml, P3: 6 g/100 ml, P4: 8 g/100 ml) and stored at 5℃. The parameters were motility spermatozoa percentage. Observations were made at 2, 24, 48, 72 96 hours after refrigeration. The data obtained was analyzed with split plot analysis of variance (ANOVA) follo wed by Duncan test. This study aimed to estimate the gestational age of Etawa crossbred goats based on ultrasound images of embryo and fetal using transcutaneous ultrasonography. Etawa crossbred does (n= 5) were synchronized using double PGF2α injection with 10 days interval and mated naturally. Early pregnancy was diagnosed on 20th day after mating base on isoechogenic image of the embryo (2.65±0.75 mm) and hypoechogenic appearance of gestational sac. On 30th day of the first trimester, the embryo size was 8.31±0.42 mm. The embryo reached 10.44±0.51 mm on 35th day. On 60th day, the existence of the fetal were clearly appeared along with isoechogenic of umbilical cord, hyperechogenic os cranium (25.5±0.1 mm), and body length (51.83±1.59 mm). On 75th day, the diameter of the os cranium was 33.03±0.20 mm, body length of 110±1.73 mm, and bones structures appeared hyperechogenic for os thoracalis and os vertebrae. The placenta was isoechogenoic with diameter of 23.3±0.2 mm. On 90th day, the placenta dominated the uterus (22.67±1.70 mm) and reached its maximum diameter on 145th day (33.73±2.91 mm).
