- Abstract
Adversity quotient has an impact on students' success in living life. Students who are victims of bullying are no exception. The low adversity quotient of students who are bullying victims will impact the chaotic management of their lives, characterized by stress, depression, trauma, and even suicide attempts. Students bullying victims with high adversity quotient will be able to deal with bullying casually and have little impact on themselves. This study aims to describe the adversity quotient in students victims of bullying and analyze the differences in the adversity quotient of students victims of bullying between men and women. Data collection was from 66 students who had been victims of bullying in junior high schools in the city of Padang using purposive random sampling techniques. This study used a comparative quantitative research design. The instrument of this study is the adversity quotient scale. The condition of low adversity intelligence was discovered as a result of research. In particular, if decomposed according to its dimensions, low results are obtained on the dimensions of control, ownership, origin, and reach. But on the endurance of dimensions got high yields. Then, there is a difference in adversity intelligence between male and female students, where the adversity intelligence of women is higher than that of men. Thus, based on the findings of this study, schools should strive to increase the adversity quotient so that the effects experienced by victims of bullying in schools are reduced.

Computer Science - Distributed, Parallel, and Cluster Computing - Abstract
Federated learning (FL) is a novel distributed learning framework designed for applications with privacy-sensitive data. Without sharing data, FL trains local models on individual devices and constructs the global model on the server by performing model aggregation. However, to reduce the communication cost, the participants in each training round are randomly selected, which significantly decreases the training efficiency under data and device heterogeneity. To address this issue, in this paper, we introduce a novel approach that considers the data distribution and computational resources of devices to select the clients for each training round. Our proposed method performs client selection based on the Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) theory by considering available computational resources for each client, the training loss, and weight divergence. To examine the usability of our proposed method, we implement our contribution on Amazon Web Services (AWS) by using the TensorFlow library of Python. We evaluate our algorithm's performance in different setups by varying the learning rate, network size, the number of selected clients, and the client selection round. The evaluation results show that our proposed algorithm enhances the performance significantly in terms of test accuracy and the average client's waiting time compared to state-of-the-art methods, federated averaging and Pow-d.

This superbug is linked to the rapid spread of plasmids carrying these resistance genes. The objective of this study was to evaluate the spatiotemporal prevalence of MDR-K. pneumoniae in the Kitagata hot spring, Southwestern Uganda.Methods: A laboratory-based descriptive longitudinal study was conducted between May and July 2023. During rainy and dry seasons, we collected eighty water samples in the morning and evening from the hot spring. The temperature at each point was measured prior to sample collection, and two samples were obtained at varying depths. 5 mL of each homogenized sample were pre-enriched in brain heart infusion broth, and subsequently in both blood and violet red bile agar. The Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method was performed, followed by the detection of carbapenemase (CR) and extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) production. Polymerase chain reaction showed resistance genes viz. blaTEM, blaCTX-M and blaKPC. Data were analyzed using SPSS-20 to obtain chi-square tests and regression analysis.Results: K. pneumoniae accounted for 30.0% of isolates obtained from Kitagata hot springs, with all isolates classified as multi-drug resistant. All isolates were resistant to ampicillin, rifampicin, ceftazidime, and azithromycin (79.2%). Additionally, 95.8% of isolates harbored blaTEM gene alone and both blaTEM and blaCTX genes, followed by blaKPC alone (33.3%), with 25% harboring all three resistance genes. During the dry season, K. pneumoniae had a higher prevalence (35.0%) compared to the wet season (25.0%). The prevalence of MDR-K. pneumoniae significantly increased over the course of the study. The presence of the three studied resistance genes in the isolates showed a positive correlation with the second phase of sample collection and the dry season but exhibited a negative correlation with temperature, except for isolates harboring either blaTEM alone or blaTEM+KPC+CTX genes.Conclusion: Kitagata hot spring serves as a hotspot for continuous dissemination and acquisition of MDR-K. pneumoniae harboring resistance genes that encode for ESBL and CR production. The healthcare sector ought to implement an ongoing monitoring and surveillance system as well as robust antimicrobial resistance stewardship programs aimed at delivering health education to the community.Keywords: antimicrobial resistomes, one health, first generation genomics, Kitagata healing hot spring, MDR-K. pneumonia

Oil spills during exploration and transportation can pollute the land and water environment. Oil Spill Dispersants (OSD) are needed to disperse petroleum spills, thus facilitating the subsequent handling process. Bio-OSD is an environmentally friendly product because it uses surfactants derived from palm oil. This study aims to obtain information about the marketing strategy for Bio-OSD products by considering market potential and marketing risks as one of the important stages in the commercialization process. The research was carried out by analyzing the needs and availability, form of the market, and conditions of competitors for the Bio-OSD product and designing a risk-based marketing strategy through a mix between Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning (STP), and Product, Price, Place, Promotion (4P), as well as risk analysis. They were using the House of Risk (HOR) method. As a comparison, commercial OSD products were used. The results showed that the Bio-OSD product gave positive and superior values in terms of quality and price parameters compared to commercial OSD products, so it was feasible to be commercialized. The B2B marketing strategy design results in segmentation and target markets aimed at PT Pertamina (Persero) subsidiaries, as well as product positioning as a diversified product. The marketing mix design resulted in products that meet the needs standards, with a price range of IDR 50,000-IDR 80,000/L, target sales in Java, and promotions carried out both online and offline. The marketing risk management plan indicates three priority risk mitigation actions namely; regular monitoring and analyzing of marketing data, training and development for improving workers capability, and expanding promotional media.

- Abstract
Each nation has its motto, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" is the motto of the Indonesian nation which first appeared in the Sutasoma Text written by Mpu Tantular. The purpose of this study is to find the character values that exist in the motto. This study uses a hermeneutic approach and follows the research steps of Paul Ricoeur. The primary data of this research is the Sutasoma text which is then analyzed using the stages of emancipatory hermeneutics. The results of the study found six-character values on the motto of "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika": (1) religious, (2) global diversity, (3) mutual cooperation, (4) brave and self-sacrificing, (5) loving, and (6) clever. These characters emerge from the values that have been carried out by Prince Sutasoma in Kakawin Sutasoma. This finding is beneficial for supporting the policy of the Indonesian government in adding the concept of strengthening character education in schools. In addition, the character values in the motto become one of the components in developing indigenous counseling typical of Indonesia in the aspect of human nature.

This research aims to analyze the approach of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic boarding school in handling the mental health disorders of students. The method used is a qualitative case study type. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique consists of three lines of activity: data reduction, data presentation, and concludingand . The research results show that the process of memorizing the Al-Qur'an requires high concentration and optimal mental endurance so that students can carry out routine activities of memorizing the Al-Qur'an; they also must study in formal education. To support this, physical and spiritual endurance is needed to avoid mental health disorders. The impact of this physical and spiritual imbalance is felt in adaptation and concentration, and it not only affects individual health but also plays a vital role in preparing students to read and memorize the Koran well. The way to prevent this is to use an approach to establishing discipline and Islamic mystical therapy. Islamic boarding school caregivers provide practice to students who experience mental disorders in the form of stress, weak memorization ability, and depression through a spiritual approach.

A typical anatomical congregate and functionally distinct multicellular cerebrovascular dynamic confer diverse blood-brain barrier (BBB) and microstructural permeabilities to conserve the health of brain parenchymal and its microenvironment. This equanimity presupposes the glymphatic system that governs the flow and clearance of metabolic waste and interstitial fluids (ISF) through venous circulation. Following the introduction of glymphatic system concept, various studies have been carried out on cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and ISF dynamics. These studies reported that the onset of multiple diseases can be attributed to impairment in the glymphatic system, which is newly referred as central nervous system (CNS) interstitial fluidopathy. One such condition includes cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) with poorly understood pathomechanisms. CSVD is an umbrella term to describe a chronic progressive disorder affecting the brain microvasculature (or microcirculation) involving small penetrating vessels that supply cerebral white and deep gray matter. This review article proposes CSVD as a form of “CNS interstitial fluidopathy”. Linking CNS interstitial fluidopathy with CSVD will open a better insight pertaining to the perivascular space fluid dynamics in CSVD pathophysiology. This may lead to the development of treatment and therapeutic strategies to ameliorate the pathology and adverse effect of CSVD.

The synthesis of ketones from stearic fatty acids using the fatty acid decarboxylation method to ketones has been carried out to increase the added value of palm oil derivative products. One of the derivative products of palm oil is Crude Palm Oil which can be converted into fatty acids through the triglyceride hydrolysis process. Palm fatty acids are Indonesia's most potentially environmentally friendly raw material. This research aims to synthesize ketones from palm fatty acids using a catalyst. Ketone compounds were synthesized using a solid base catalyst as a double hydroxide layer based on Mg-Al-Cu. Identification of the presence of a C=O ketone group was carried out by testing the Fehling test, Tollens, spectrophotometer (FTIR), and computing the yield. The results showed the success of ketone synthesis using the fatty acid decarboxylation method into ketones through a test of Fehling's on stearic fatty acid ketone products. Meanwhile, in the Tollens test, there wasn't a change in the silver mirror. Furthermore, the spectrophotometer test (FTIR) showed the presence of a C=O bond or a carbonyl group at the peak wave 1707 cm-1. Ketone's synthesis produced was 95.09%.

Nowadays, there is no shortage of options for customers when choosing where to put their money. As a result, customer churn and engagement have become one of the top issues. With the increase in the number of service providers for the same targeted population, there is a need for service providers to try to find the changing customer behaviour and their rising expectations to retain them. Various studies have proposed customer churn. Data mining was routinely used to predict telecom customer attrition. Most researchers have compared and proposed different approaches for the prediction of customer churn, though some of the Machine learning (ML) algorithms used were unable to provide the performance needed to identify customer churn. Therefore, this paper presents a comparative analysis of Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Tree (DT) and Random Forest (RF) in the Telecommunications Dataset. To prepare the dataset for machine learning algorithms, chi-square was used for feature selection to select the most informative features from the original dataset. We validate our model using a ten-fold cross-validation approach to test the performance of our models. RF model performed better than other models in terms of accuracy (94%), precision (94%) and F-measure (94%), respectively. Additionally, we compared our results with existing models that used the same dataset; the proposed strategy outperformed them. Water scarcity is a major global challenge that affects both developed and developing countries, with Indonesia serving as a prime example. Indonesia's archipelagic nature, combined with its dense population, exacerbates the severity of water scarcity. The increased population density in these areas raises the demand for water resources, putting a strain on the available supply. The purpose of this research was to create porous mortar filters (PMFs) with different ratios (1:4, 1:5, and 1:6) by incorporating 10, 15, and 20% adsorbent material by weight of fine aggregate. The research was carried out in three stages: determining PMF properties, preparing synthetic wastewater, and assessing treatment effectiveness. Various PMF compositions consistently achieved notable success, with reductions in total dissolved solids and turbidity exceeding 25 and 75%, respectively. The PMF performed admirably in eliminating bacterial concentrations, achieving a 100% removal rate, and was critical in efficiently reducing metals, with compositions achieving over 80% reduction for manganese (Mn) and 38% reduction for iron (Fe). PMF emerges as a practical solution as a cost-effective and simple water treatment technology, particularly suitable for areas with limited technological infrastructure and resources, providing accessible water treatment for communities facing challenges in this regard. HIGHLIGHT Porous mortar filters contribute to the improvement of water quality by addressing physical, biological, and chemical aspects through their adept filtration properties. This technology effectively mitigates issues related to total dissolved solids, turbidity, bacterial concentrations, and various chemical contaminants, thereby serving as a comprehensive solution for enhancing overall water quality.;

The sorting or separation process is crucial in the delivery of goods or packages, especially when viewed from the many regions in Indonesia. From the management system of separating goods which is generally still done manually, causing some goods to experience destination errors and delivery delays or commonly called Criss-Cross (CC). Delivery delays are also influenced by human error factors, so special tools are needed to separate goods based on the destination city of the goods, one of which uses a conveyor with a GM65 QR Code Scanner sensor. This sensor works based on commands from Arduino which has been programmed in such a way that it can control all inputs and outputs used in the system. In this system, the goods to be separated are made in the form of 3D mode boxes, where each box is affixed with a different QR code, namely A, B, and C. Each QR code represents the destination city of the goods to be separated, namely city A and city B, but for QR code C indicates data other than city A and city B which will be separated as foreign goods so that in this case it does not match any separation. After testing, the tool can work properly and obtain the results of separating goods in the form of a type of QR code that is read with the destination city of each item that has been separated.

Background: Sports values arise because of sports activities. These values have a positive impact on personal development. If physical education at school incorporates sports values, it becomes extremely significant. Research Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of sports values in physical education. Methods: This research employed a quantitative descriptive method and was conducted at a high school in Bandung City. The participants were all school students, totaling 425 students, consisting of 193 male and 232 female students aged 15–17 years. The students completed the questionnaire in approximately 15 minutes. The study used a questionnaire to measure physical education sports values, specifically the Youth Sport Values Questionnaire-2 (YSVQ-2). Data analysis was performed using the SPSS program. We conducted statistical analysis and additional testing to investigate differences in the obtained means. Findings/Results: The research findings highlight a substantial disparity in average scores among sports values, with moral values emerging as the highest. This underscores the pivotal role of physical education in fostering moral development, achieved through active participation in game scenarios and facilitated by appropriate teaching methodologies. However, the successful internalisation of sports values and the holistic development of students extend beyond the confines of the classroom, involving significant contributions from parents and the broader environment. These external factors play a crucial role in shaping students' personalities, both within and outside the school environment. Conclusion: Future research endeavours should focus on designing and implementing structured and systematic sports values programmes to further enhance our understanding and implementation of sports values in physical education. These programmes should provide students with tangible opportunities to objectively observe and engage with sports values, thereby fostering their integration into both educational settings and the wider community.

The diversity of readers' responses in literary works is called reception aesthetics. This study aims to elucidate the readers’ response and the reception aesthetics towards the values of religious moderation in Serat Carub Kandha by Prince Linggabuana. Employing the research design of the synchronic experimental reception method, the data collection utilized note-taking and literature study techniques. It involved twenty respondents of Islamic university students as the readers. The data analysis technique used reader criteria assessment and Hans Robert Jauss' theory concerning the reader's experience of the novel, horizon of expectations, aesthetic distance, the spirit of the times, literary series, and literary history. The chosen manuscript was Serat Carub Kandha Pupuh Mijil as the fifth branch of the story. The results demonstrated that the noble value readers capture is in the form of religious moderation values. They are tolerance (tasamuh), neutral (tawassuth), uprightness (i’tidal), deliberation (al-shura), anti-violence (la' unf), and culture friendly (i'tibar al-'urf). These are manifested through respect for diversity and multicultural in the part of allowing residents to establish Islamic learning centers even though the Padjajaran kingdom practiced Buddhism. Notably, the wife of Prince Linggabuana, Dewi Subang Kranjang, embraced Islam, while his three sons secretly studied Islam with Sheikh Quro'. Indubitably, the combustion of fossils fuels has really hampered the preservation of the environment as it raises the content of CO2 in the atmosphere which consequentially results in global warming. Adsorption process remains the popular technique owing to its cost-effectiveness, faster reaction rates and flexible design. This review detailed the research progress in preparation of modified zeolite-based and novel adsorbents towards enhanced CO2 capture. In addition, the review presents an overview on available techniques of capturing CO2 and mechanism of reaction. Large surface area, distinctive mechanical characteristics and uniform dispersion of the exchangeable cations in the porous framework is prerequisite for high adsorption capacity and stability over zeolite materials. Novel nanostructured and polymeric zeolite composite materials seem promising because they offer solutions to energy-related problems while also contributing to environmental preservation. It is anticipated that this review could offer a conclusive roadmap in the pursuit of a cost-effective, industrially potent adsorbent suited for enhance CO2 capture.

As an alternative to the physical storage of hydrogen as compressed gas or liquid hydrogen requiring high-pressure tanks and cryogenic temperatures, the material-based storage of hydrogen in solids involves hydrogen uptake and release from the surface of adsorbents or within interstitials of hydrides. We report a hydrothermic reduction of rutile-ilmenite mineral into hydrogen-rich fibrous products, η-Ti2FeO0.2H2.8, in an ethanol-water system at 120°C for 4 hrs. As part of a project to generate hydrogen from water-ethanol system using advanced catalysts containing graphene oxide (GO) as carbon source, a system of 62.5 μg graphene oxide per g of rutile-ilmenite mineral was employed in a concentration of 50 mg/mL of ethanol-water solution. As well as in the original mineral, XRD of thermal annealed mineral between 500 and 800°C showed no hydride or phase change in rutile-ilmenite. With hydrothermal treatment of GO/rutile-ilmenite (50 mg/mL) in ethanol-water (1:1 v/v) at 120°C, a hydrogen-rich ferrotitanium hydride phase was formed, and there was a change in morphology from plate-like and granular particles into fibrous structures. Like the release of hydrogen by its ‘carriers’ (e.g., CaH2, NH4BH4, NaBH4, NH3, formic acid), it is anticipated that hydrogen was generated from the ethanol-water system in-situ, which reduced the rutile-ilmenite mineral into a hydride. EDX results showed that the reduction affected specifically the oxides of Fe and aluminosilicates in the mineral. The study demonstrated a possibility of in-situ hydrogen generation and storage via low-temperature graphene oxide hydrothermic reduction of rutile-ilmenite mineral in an ethanol-water system.

This paper studies the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on Indonesia’s labor market, using the exogenous timing of the pandemic in a seasonal difference-in-differences framework. We use multiple rounds of Indonesia’s National Labor Force Survey to establish a pre-pandemic employment trend and attribute any difference from this trend to the estimated effect of the pandemic on employment outcomes. We find mixed impacts of the pandemic on Indonesia’s labor market. While the pandemic has reduced the gender gap in employment participation due to the “added worker effect” among women, it has also lowered overall employment quality among both women and men. The increase in female employment was mainly driven by women in rural areas without a high school education entering either informal agricultural employment or unpaid family work. For men, the pandemic had negative employment impacts for all subgroups. Among the employed, both women and men work fewer hours and earn lower wages.
