The confinement of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) offers strong field strengths also for longitudinal field components. Phenomena like spin‐momentum locking can thus be exploited for novel functionality in nanodevices. External control of transport or directional coupling of propagating SPPs would be highly interesting for applications. Herein, the coupling of noble metal and magnetic nanoparticles to a silver nanowire acting as SPP waveguide using a hybrid self‐assembly approach is demonstrated. A designated setup is reported to isolate and investigate magnetically controlled transport in such devices. Various configurations are measured to quantify the required sensitivity for the typically tiny magnet response at moderate strengths of the magnetic field. Although magnetic control cannot be achieved, the required improvements can be estimated based on a heuristic numerical model. It is suggested using an approach to enhance magnetic response using a combination of metal and magnetic nanoparticles. Property development otherwise referred to as real estate development or investment appears to be facing challenges in recent times due to the effects of the twin challenges of global warming and climatic change. No thanks to man’s activities on land and exploration to natural resources. Exploration of natural resources and human activities have continued to impact the ecosystem which has created great concerns. This paper reviewed literature on property development amidst global warming and climate change. A number of issues were raised including concern about how investors’ confidence can further be secured on real estate development. With the above mind, there are initiatives to reduce the impact of flooding and other weather events via incorporation of green infrastructure and storm water management, build resilient structures that can withstand extreme weather events, incorporate green spaces into the landscape, conduct risk assessments, create emergency plans, build infrastructure that can withstand extreme weather events, use recycled materials, utilize green spaces, and minimize disruption of natural habitats to reduce the impact of development on the environment, use drought-tolerant landscaping, and incorporate green infrastructure such as rain gardens. Monoclinic α‐Ag2S is an intriguing member of transition metal sulfides with great potential for all‐inorganic flexible optoelectronics and thermoelectrics. Fabrication of large‐area, high‐quality α‐Ag2S thin films and understanding their charge transport properties are critical for device operations yet have remained largely unexplored. Here, a novel two‐step, the solution‐processed approach is reported to produce wafer‐sized, highly crystalline α‐Ag2S thin films. Ultrafast terahertz (THz) conductivity measurements reveal that photogenerated charge carriers undergo efficient band transport, with room‐temperature mobility of ≈150 cm2 V‐1 s‐1 and a diffusion length exceeding 500 nm. Furthermore, introducing poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as the rigid component into the aqueous silver thiolate precursor enables the synthesis of free‐standing α‐Ag2S thin films with a mobility of ≈35 cm2 V‐1 s‐1, demonstrating their potential for flexible optoelectronics. This study provides a facile synthesis route for high‐quality, large‐area α‐Ag2S thin films with good charge transport properties, relevant for their integration into optoelectronics and wearable electronics.
