This paper presents a conceptual framework that guides organizations through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices and CSR performance in Malaysian automotive suppliers. It provides a framework based on CSR practices dimensions (employee involvement, customer focus, environment, corporate governance, community and society, and human right) and CSR performance measurements (social performance and environmental performance). CSR practice plays a vital role in contributing to developing employees, communities, and customers to improve the CSR performance for Malaysian automotive suppliers. This’s main contribution is to link the CSR implementation practices initiatives and CSR performance measurement.

Pentaksiran bilik darjah memerlukan guru menumpukan autonominya secara optimum dalam pentaksiran tanpa perlu diganggu oleh lain-lain bentuk penilaian terutamanya dalam kalangan guru tahap 1 di sekolah rendah di Malaysia. Tiga objektif kajian ditetapkan iaitu mengenalpasti samada guru masih menjalankan peperiksaan pertengahan tahun dan akhir tahun untuk murid tahap 1 di sekolah, mengenalpasti sokongan terhadap pemansuhan peperiksaan untuk murid tahap 1 dan mengenalpasti peningkatan autonomi dalam PBD. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan kaedah tinjauan sebagai teknik kutipan data dijalankan menggunakan instrumen soal selidik atas talian. Seramai 662 orang guru yang mengajar di tahap 1 telah dipilih secara rawak berstrata sebagai responden. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 25 secara deskriptif. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan guru merasakan peningkatan autonomi dalam PBD serta menyokong pemansuhan peperiksaan untuk murid tahap 1. Namun begitu majoriti guru masih menjalankan peperiksaan sebagai sebahagian dari pentaksiran.

The purpose of present study is to analyses the critical success factors of WEP implementation in Malaysia. The study indicates six critical success factor of WEP (entrepreneurial traits, entrepreneurial experience, management skill, customer relation, training and education and environment). A total of 38 responses from women entrepreneurs in Malaysia were collected through email and on-line questionnaires. The result shows the mean values are 5.811 to 5.461, consider good at WEP implementation. The dimension TE (5.811) and EE (5.758) have the highest mean value and shown to be the most important dimensions of WEP implementation for women entrepreneur in Malaysia SMEs. The implications present study is anticipated to help better understand women entrepreneurs' condition, needs and provide new insights for the critical success factors of a more gender-specific practice for women entrepreneurs in Malaysia. This study also provides important guidelines to implement WEP. In future research, the relationship between WEP and business performance of women entrepreneur in Malaysia will be analyses and then compare the results to other countries.

Purpose – This study aims to examine the relationship between environmental cost (EC) on organisational performance (OPM) through an environmental management system (EMS) as the mediating variable. Design/methodology/approach – A total of 2,600 manufacturers were identified and consequently selected as the entire study population. Additionally, this study used the structural equation modelling technique to identify the mediator effects of EMS between EC and OPM. Findings – The EC and EMS relationship on OPM produced direct and indirect consequences. Hence, it is concluded that manufacturing industry in Malaysia are focused on the OPM when implementing EC and EMS. Originality/value – The model would incorporate EC and EMS implementation on OPM in the Malaysian manufacturing industry. This study could also be advantageous to the industry in improving EC, EMS and OPM.

This paper emphasizes on the variables of live commerce and the relationship with Customer engagement in e-commerce platform in Malaysia. An interdisciplinary literature review suggesting positive relationship between live commerce and customer engagement. Therefore, using the Social Cognitive (SC) theory and stimulus–organism–response (SOC) model, researcher propose to analyze the practice of live commerce and the relationship with Customer engagement in SMEs Malaysia. These theory and model will be employed to develop an integrative conceptual framework that combines various relational bonds, affective commitment, visual attention, and consumer engagement. Through understanding majority live commerce consumer in Malaysia, can reflect live commerce customer expectation and need and contribute to customer engagement. The implication of this study is expected to give insight of live commerce practice in Malaysia and indirectly assist ecommerce operator and related industry that wish to venture in live commerce. For future study, researcher will add culture and ethnicity as mediating effect and a research model will be developed by testing the proposed conceptual framework using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).

The aim of this conceptual paper is to review the relationship between environmental management system and organizational performance in Malaysian manufacturing industry. The paper is prepared by reviewing the relevant literatures on environmental management system and organizational performance. The framework will provide a guide to Malaysian manufacturing industry to improve the environmental management system and organizational performance. The conceptual framework developed in this study can be used as a guideline to implement the environmental management system and organizational performance in Malaysian manufacturing industry. Thus, a conceptual framework of the importance of environmental management system and organizational performance, can serve to guide future research.

Pemansuhan peperiksaan tahap 1 dan pelaksanaan PBD sebagai bentuk penilaian murid telah mula dilaksanakan pada tahun 2019. Kajian ini adalah untuk melihat kesan perubahan ini terhadap autonomi guru iaitu dengan mengenalpasti tahap autonomi guru, perbezaan autonomi guru berdasarkan demografi serta mengenalpasti samada peperiksaan pertengahan tahun dan akhir tahun masih dijalankan di sekolah sebagai sebahagian dari PBD. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kaedah tinjauan mengunakan instrumen soal selidik terhadap 58 orang guru sekolah rendah yang mengajar tahap 1 dengan sampel dipilih secara rawak mudah. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan autonomi guru berada pada tahap tinggi dan aspek pendidikan pempunyai perbezaan yang signifikan kepada autonomi guru selain lebih separuh responden masih mengamalkan peperiksaan formatif sebagai sebahagian dari PBD. Isu dan cabaran autonomi guru dalam PBD dibincangkan dengan cadangan terhadap peranan pentadbir sekolah, PPD, JPN dan KPM dalam pengupayaan guru, kesedaran guru tentang peningkatan akauntabiliti seiring dengan peningkatan autonomi serta kajian impak berterusan.
