Objective To evaluate the Health Education Accurately Linking System (HEALS) combined with case-based leaning (CBL)I n nursing teaching ward round in the encephalopathy clinic. Methods Totally 19 registered nurses were recruited. The routing management had been adopted in nursing teaching ward round between January and December. 2021. A modified model based on the HEALS combined with CBL was adopted in the in nursing teaching ward round between January and December. 2021. Practical skills of nurses and their evaluation on nursing teaching ward round were measured. Results Nurses had achieved a higher score of practical skills assessment after implementation of HEALS combined with CBL model (P＜0. 05). The evaluation of enhancing interest, problem solving skills and independent learning in nursing ward rounds based on HEALS combined with CBL was superior to that in routine nursing ward rounts (P＜0. 05). Conclusion The HEALS combined with CBL model has obvious advantages in nursing teaching ward rounds, which can better meet the needs of clinical nursing teaching, effectively cultivate clinical practice and thinking ability, and is conducive to teaching management. Objective To construct and validate a prognosis prediction model and a risk stratification tool for more precise and individualized evaluation of prognosis for patients following resection of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), and provide real-world evidence for informing optimal decision-making about adjuvant therapy. Methods The comprehensive clinical data and follow-up data were collected from consecutive patients with ESCC in the Anyang Cancer Hospital (Anyang center) from May 31, 2011 to July 31, 2018, and in the Cancer Hospital of Shantou University Medical College (Shantou center) from August 1, 2009 to December 31, 2018. Patients from the Anyang center formed the training cohort, and a two-phase selection based on backward stepwise multivariable Cox proportional hazard regression and minimization of AIC was used to construct prediction model for overall survival (OS). Bootstrap with 1 000 resamples was used for internal validation, and cohort from the Shantou center was used for external validation. Furthermore, a risk stratification tool was constructed according to the tertiles of the total points derived from nomogram in the training cohort. Results A total of 4 171 eligible patients were included in the training cohort, and 1 895 patients were included in the validation cohort. The final model incorporated nine variables: age, sex, primary tumor location, T stage, N stage, number of lymph nodes harvested, tumor size, adjuvant treatment, and preoperative hemoglobin level. A significant interaction was observed between N stage and adjuvant treatment (P < 0.001), which means that N+ stage patients were likely to benefit from addition of adjuvant therapy as opposed to surgery alone, but adjuvant therapy did not improve OS for N0 stage patients. The C-index of the model was 0.728 (95% CI: 0.713-0.742) in the training cohort, 0.722 (95% CI: 0.711-0.739) after bootstrapping, and 0.679 (95% CI: 0.662-0.697) in the external validation cohort. Calibration plots demonstrated favorable agreement between model prediction and actual observation for 1-, 3- and 5-year OS. In both training and validation cohorts, this model outperformed the seventh edition of the AJCC TNM (tumor, lymph node, and metastasis) staging system in terms of the accuracy of prognostic prediction (P < 0.05). Moreover, within each TNM staging group, this model achieved ideal risk stratification. Conclusions The prediction model constructed in this study may provide individualized survival prediction for patients with resected ESCC in China. This study also demonstrated that the N stage may be a fundamental determinant in planning postoperative adjuvant therapy for ESCC patients.

The timing of the onset of Taiwan sediment input to the northern South China Sea (SCS) is still controversial even though many provenance proxies had been used. To analyze the change of Taiwan input since the Late Miocene (11.63–0 Ma), we applied the major-element-based proxies R AK and R KCN, combined with the published clay mineral and Sr–Nd isotope data, to study the sediment provenance near the northern SCS slope. The results show that significant Taiwan sediment input began at ∼6.5 Ma in the Late Miocene, consistent with the timing of Taiwan uplift. Moreover, Pearl River input increased after ∼3.6 Ma, corresponding to the sea level fall caused by the ice sheet expansion in the Northern Hemisphere. The Taiwan input increased during the Mid-Pleistocene Transition (MPT, 1.25–0.7 Ma) because of the Northern Pacific Intermediate Water expansion. After the MPT, the Pearl River input re-increased in response to the lowered sea level in glacials. In general, tectonic activities such as the Taiwan uplift control the sediment provenance in the northern SCS from 6.5 to 3.6 Ma. After 3.6 Ma, as the weathering regime of Taiwan sediment became more stable, climate change became a more important factor in influencing sediment provenance.

Objective To observe the curative effect of massage technique and acupoint application in treating constipation after stroke. Methods Totally 78 patients with acute constipation after cerebral infarction were selected, divided into control group, acupoint application group (Acupoint application group) and massage treatment group (massage group), among which 22 patients in control group, 31 patients in application group and 25 patients in massage group. The control group patients received integrative medicine treatment and nursing. On this basis, the massage group patients received acupoint massage technique; the Acupoint application group patients were given Traditional Chinese Medicine Shenque acupoint application. The defecation situation of the three groups was observed daily for 2 weeks, and the defecation frequency of the three groups was compared with the 7th and 14th day of treatment. Objective To investigate the effect of Shenfu injection in treating patients with acute internal watershed cerebral infarction. Methods Totally 154 patients with AIWCI admitted to the Department of Encephalopathy of Dongzhimen Hospital from October 2018 to October 2020 were divided into the experimental group (n=96)and the control group(n=58). All cases received a comprehensive treatment including anti-platelet aggregation, lowering blood lipid, regulating blood pressure, replenishing blood volume, improving microcirculation and protecting brain cells. Patients in the experimental group were additionally given Shenfu injection for 14 days as a course of treatment. Before and after treatment, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used to score the neurological impairment, and transcranial doppler (TCD) was used to measure the blood flow velocity of the middle cerebral artery at the affected side. Objective To explore the rehabilitation effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ointment and rubbing technique on motor function in patients with hemiplegia in recovery stage of stroke. Methods Totally 60 patients with hemiplegia in recovery stage of stroke were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group received TCM ointment and rubbing technique on the basis of routine treatment and care; while the control group only received routine treatment and care. After 2 weeks of intervention, the motor function and living ability were assessed and compared between two groups. Results After 2 weeks of intervention, the scores of motor function evaluation scale (MAS) and Barther Index (ADL) increased in both two groups, and scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control groups , with a significant differnce (P＜0. 05) . Conclusion TCM ointment and rubbing technique can promote the recovery of motor function and quality of life in patients with hemiplegia after stroke. Objective To explore the clinical effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)decoction cupping combined with wet compress therapy in the treatment of hemiplegia caused by stroke. Methods Totally 120 patients with hemiplegia caused by stroke were selected. According to TCM nursing interventions provided, they were divided into routine Chinese medicine rehabilitation training group (group A), TCM decoction cupping group (group B) and TCM decoction cupping combined with wet compress therapy group (Group C). The improvement of motor function was evaluated by the simplified Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Assessment Scale (FMA), the recovery of limb muscle strength was evaluated by Lovett's scale before and after treatment, and the improvement of daily living ability were evaluated by Modified Barthel Index (MBI). Patients' satisfaction with TCM nursing treatment was evaluated by self-made questionnaire. Results The symptoms of all patients were significantly relieved after TCM nursing treatment. In comparison between groups, the FMA and MBI scores of patients in group C after treatment were significantly higher than those in groups A and B (t=-3. 871, P＜0. 001; t=-5. 646, P＜0. 001; t=-3. 661, P＜0. 001; t=-2. 131, P=0. 036), while the recovery of muscle strength on the affected side of group C was not statistically different from that in groups A and B (P>0. 05). The patient satisfaction rate was 61. 90%(26/42) in group A, 81. 25%(26/32) in group B and 82. 61%(38/46) in group C. Conclusion TCM decoction cupping combined with wet compress therapy can achieve a sound effect in the treatment of hemiplegia caused by stroke. Additionally, this method is simple, practicable, and with good patient satisfaction, which can be clinically promoted and applied. (目的 探讨中药水罐联合溻渍法治疗中风偏瘫的临床疗效。方法 120例中风偏瘫患者按治疗方式分为A、 B、C3组。A组常规干预, B组在A组基础上实施中药水罐治疗, C组在A组基础上实施中药水罐联合中药溻渍治疗。观察3组患者干预前后偏瘫侧肢体运动功能改善情况、肌力恢复情况以及日常生活能力改善情况, 记录3组护理满意度。结果 干预后, 3组症状均得到缓解, C组患者治疗后的简化版运动功能评定量表(FMA)、改良Barthel指数评分数表(MBI)评分显著高于A、B组(t=-3. 871, P＜0. 001; t=-5. 646, P＜0. 001; t=-3. 661, P＜0. 001; t=-2. 131, P=0. 036), 3组肌力比较无明显差异(P＞0. 05)。A组护理满意度为61. 90%(26/42), B组护理满意度为81. 25%(26/32), C组满意度为82. 61%(38/46)。结论 中药水罐联合中药溻渍治疗中风偏瘫效果显著, 能有效改善患者肢体功能, 提升患者的日常生活自理能力。)

Objective To investigate the effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing in prevention of pulmonary infection in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Totally 120 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were divided into control group (n = 60) and observation group (n = 60) according to different types of nursing care. A new T-type connection structure consisting of composite sandwich plates, reinforced cores and adhesive was proposed for the construction of lightweight ships to resolve connection problems between bulkheads and decks of composite lightweight ship superstructures. Based on the design principles and mechanical properties of composite structures, the mechanical behaviour of the structure under a dangerous loading condition was investigated. In addition, the ultimate bearing capacities and damage modes were examined, the results of which demonstrated that the strength of the structure is weak, and that the adhesive and reinforced core between the face plate and the web plate is the primary weakness of the structure. A numerical simulation method was verified using the results of the mechanical tests, and five characteristic paths at the connection area were established. The stresses and displacements along the five paths were calculated using the numerical method. Then, variations in the geometric parameter and the strength and weight of the connection were summarised. The optimal angle of the adhesive bonding area is approximately 60°, which supports the optimal design and practical application of the lightweight ship adhesive-bonded connection structure.

In order to solve the problem of rotor airflow interference to the wing of tiltrotor UAV, the lift and drag in the slipstream area and the free flow area were calculated respectively according to the hydrodynamics theory and CFD simulation. The longitudinal nonlinear dynamics model of tiltrotor UAV is established by Newton-Euler method. In order to solve the problem that the lift and thrust are difficult to balance the body gravity in the transition flight mode, a method for calculating the transition corridor of a tiltrotor UAV without cyclic pitch is proposed. The boundary of the transition corridor is restricted by the Angle of attack of the wing and the thrust of the rotor. Considering the requirements of UAV cruise speed, flight safety and minimum energy consumption, the optimal transition curve is selected. The result show that the designed transition curve can ensure that the lift and the rotor thrust can balance the gravity completely and the Angle of attack is in a reasonable range, and the rotor force has enough margin of safety.

BACKGROUND The needle-like inclusions in rose quartz are considered to be rutile or dumortierite, and their orientation is related to the c-axis. However, there is no consensus on this statement. OBJECTIVES To find out the distribution characteristics and component of needle-like inclusions in rose quartz using multiple methods. METHODS Four starlight powder crystals containing acicular inclusions were selected, observed and tested using gemological Microscopes, Laser Raman Spectroscopy, and Ultraviolet-visible Absorption Spectroscopy. RESULTS The Raman experiments show that the characteristic vibration peaks 949 cm-1 and 999 cm-1 of needles match those of dumortierite and the needle-like inclusions are dumortierite or minerals similar to dumortierite. Magnification examination reveals that the inclusions are approximately 0.5 μm in diameter, with a length of up to millimeters, a near-directional distribution, and a convergent shape as a whole. They can be roughly divided into three groups at certain positions. The needle-like inclusions in the same group are distributed approximately parallel. The three blue-ray lines of six-pointed starlights intersected three-dimensionally, and no obvious three-dimensional symmetry was observed. It was not directly related to the crystallization habit of crystals. CONCLUSIONS It is believed that blue-ray stones form inclusions first and are captured during the growth of crystals. The UV-visible Spectroscopic Spectrum only absorbs the pink dumortierite, indicating that a large number of pink dumortierite inclusions contribute to the pinkness of the pink crystal.

With the development of general aviation, the urban aircraft is around the corner. The urban aircraft with composite is considered as an ultralight vehicle and the crashworthiness is of vital importance for such an ultralight aircraft. Composites are being widely and increasingly used in the aerospace industry because of their advantages that include the high specific strength and stiffness over traditional metallic materials. Besides, composites have the potential for absorbing the energy in a crash event. The crashworthiness of the cockpit section is analyzed in this paper and some modifications in the subfloor have been made to improve the survivability of the pilot. Advances in commercial softwares have enabled engineers to simulate crash events. The three-dimensional structure model is established by use of CATIA software and the crash process is simulated by MSC/DYTRAN. By comparing the crashworthiness of composite structures, reliable basis is provided for the design of a safe and sound structure.

An interactive MDO platform for multivariate and high coupling aero-structural interactions is presented in this paper. Programs based on RSM and GA are utilized as optimization solver, which is connected with CAD/CAE software by a friendly GUI. To generate and modify CAD models in the analysis and optimization process, CATIA Automation Technique is adopted to create a CAD model generator. During the analysis process, high-fidelity models in both disciplines are used. For aircraft wing MDO problems, optimal wing shape and structural configuration can be obtained using this platform in the preliminary design phase. While the current platform is aiming at solving Aero-Structural problems in the preliminary design phase of UAV components, it also provides a reference solution for other related MDO problems. Two cases are provided to verify the validity and practicability of this platform. Besides the design ideas and techniques, this paper also demonstrates its further development capabilities.
