The authors studied possibilities of using modern technologies in the process of teaching the discipline «Fundamentals of health and safety», identified specific factors for optimizing the mastery of the discipline in higher education in the context of digitalization of education. 339 students from the 1st to the 4th year of education who finished the study of «health and safety» and «Fundamentals of health and safety» in autumn semester of 2023–2024 were polled with the usage of Google Disc questionnaire. Student`s attendance of classes, results of student`s assessment of organizing of educational process were analyzed by authors. Authors revealed the difference in perception of information by students of the 1st educational year and students of 3rd and 4th educational year. It must be taken into account when choosing teaching methods and technologies. All students agree that practical classes of «Fundamentals of health and safety» should be held offline and give preference to having tasks in mini-groups. The vast majority notes the insufficient number of classes for studying the discipline. Periodic monitoring of the quality of education, considering student`s surveys helps in time to identify difficulties in students’ mastery of the material and carry out corrective measures not only in the educational process, but also directly in the classroom. The universality of the disciplines of «health and safety» and «Fundamentals of health and safety» allows to use effectively modern technologies, including digital ones in the process of teaching in higher education, considering the specifics of the subject matter of the material being studied.

Problem statement. The unprecedented pace of development and application of artificial intelligence in higher education attracts the academic staff of scientists to analyze and discuss the problem of opportunities, risks and boundaries of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the organization of higher education. The purpose of the study is to analyze the integration of AI into the educational processes of higher education as a strategy for using digital technologies, indicated by accelerating the achievement of educational transformation goals in the activity sphere, where opportunities are found for teaching, learning, and scientific activities of the teacher and students. Methodology . Analytical and theoretical research methods (literature analysis, data synthesis, generalization, induction, deduction, establishment of cause-and-effect relationships) were applied to assess the current state of the educational sphere regarding the widespread introduction of AI capabilities, and an express survey was conducted in the number of 105 people: students of additional education programs “Teacher” and “Teacher of a higher educational institution” on the topic of psychological adaptation to the active use of AI technologies in the framework of pedagogical practice. Results. There are opportunities to optimize the learning process using AI, such as assessing the level of knowledge of students according to predetermined criteria, organizing and conducting tests and exams, ability to get rid of routine work, translating and voicing any text. Conclusion. It is summarized that the most promising direction for application of AI technologies in higher education is an additional education, which is organized primarily for acquisition of specific knowledge and skills by reducing the time spent searching for literature, scientific reviews, setting specific tasks and problems, organizing communication, etc.

In the article the focus of the research interest is directed to the advantages and limitations of work at university as assessed by scientific and pedagogical employees. The empirical study was conducted using the semi-structured interview method with 145 scientific and pedagogical employees from 7 leading Russian universities. The classification of strengths (advantages) and weaknesses (disadvantages) of working at university has been formed, which are combined on the following grounds: organizational and managerial, social and academic, financial and economic, and territorial and infrastructural. Advantages of working at university: favorable conditions for academic development; stable team of professionals and comfortable working atmosphere; lack of inertia and routine of the labor process; developed material and technical base and formed infrastructure of university; job stability and social guarantees. Disadvantages of working at university: high workload, which leads to emotional overwork and lower quality of work; bureaucratic procedures distract from the main work; lack of desired support from the management. Comprehensive work of university management, aimed at the systemic development of personnel policy, will eliminate the above- mentioned shortcomings and ensure the reduction of their occurrence risk. The obtained results of the sociological research can be used in practical work and in justification of managerial decision-making by top management in universities, can be useful to other stakeholders such as scientific and pedagogical employees, graduate students, and young people oriented to employment in higher education institutions and building an academic career.

The article develops a methodological and practical basis for assessing the attractiveness of regional tourist sites from the point of view of educational tourism. An assessment methodology was created, including groups of criteria and sub-criteria (6 and 53, respectively), selected based on expert evaluation; a matrix was formed, allowing us to calculate integral indicators step by step, which was tested on the example of 50 objects of five regions of Kazakhstan (Central, Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern). In addition, the article implements hierarchical cluster analysis on three blocks of parameters: the first—indicators characterizing the level of education development in the context of 17 regions and 3 cities of republican significance; the second—indicators reflecting the cultural development of the country's regions; the third—parameters showing the level of development of tourism activities in the regions of Kazakhstan, which allowed us to obtain three clusters that can be used to develop recommendations for the development of education in the regions of Kazakhstan. The article is devoted to the study of the organizational and managerial context of the development of project-based learning in Russian universities. The sample of the study is represented by twelve universities of different types (federal, research, reference) Volga, Ural, Siberian and Southern Federal districts. Based on the traditional analysis of official documents posted on the official websites of universities, an assessment of key aspects of university policies in the implementation of project-based student education was carried out, reflecting the development of the organizational infrastructure of the analyzed practice and forming an environment of social interaction between students, teachers, curators, employers and representatives of educational management. The development of assessment tools was based on the methodology of systemic, organizational and managerial, process, situational and temporal approaches. The purpose of the study is to analyze the organizational and managerial context of project–based education in Russian universities. It is established that the institutional practices of implementing project-based learning in the universities under study have different resource capabilities and are implemented along different trajectories that have their own logic. The study recorded that in the information space, and accordingly in the organizational and managerial environment, diversity is represented in determining the goals and effectiveness of project training. The demarcation lines in the existing organizational and managerial models are strategic forks that ensure: the mass or selectivity of project-based education in universities; orientation towards educational and/or product results; integration of project-based learning into the educational process or the implementation of students' project activities beyond their educational activities. The dependence between the organizational design of project training and its resource provision – regulatory, personnel, and information support is revealed. The scale and intensity of managerial innovations associated with the transition of the educational process to project-based learning formats are more typical for universities included in the “Priority-2030” university development program. They determine not only serious institutional and organizational changes, but also the transformation of social interaction practices in higher education.

Introduction. One of the central problems of training a foreign language teacher within the framework of a continuous development program “Teacher” in the field of “Theory and Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures” is the content of the education process. The focus is on the determination of the place of the theory of upbringing and learning in the structure of the educational program and its role in the professional pedagogical consciousness formation of the graduate. To solve this problem it is necessary to draw an eventual line between “The Theory of Education and Training” and “Pedagogy and Psychology” as the courses forming pedagogical competences, but at the same time performing different functions in the educational process.Goal. The article aims to study inseparability and continuity of the courses in forming theoretical and practical skills of a foreign language teacher.Materials and methods. The fundamental method of the study is the analysis of psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature, in which the main stages of professional training of a teacher are considered, the terminological base is presented. Generalization of the results of pedagogical experience within the framework of work in the university and participation as experts in various competitions of pedagogical excellence is also of practical importance.Results and discussion. The conducted research has shown that the process of professional pedagogical competences formation of a teacher implies an inseparable connection and continuity between the courses “Theory of Education and Training” and “Pedagogy and Psychology”. These courses are complementary in the educational process, forming theoretical and practical skills of students of the program. It is advisable to include thematic sections of the discipline “Theory of Education and Training” in the curriculum of the additional educational program after studying the theoretical foundations of pedagogy and psychology, mastering the terminological basis of the discipline, its principles and methods. Such educational process design will allow to form not only professional pedagogical competences of the future teacher of a foreign language, capable of carrying out scientific research in the field of pedagogy and methodology of teaching foreign languages at different levels, but also prepare them for the role of a class tutor.Conclusion. The results of the study can be used in the process of optimizing both basic professional training programs and continuous development programs for training foreign language teachers in higher education. Special importance should be given to the construction of educational trajectory based on the principle of continuity of education.

The aim of the article is analysing the advantages and disadvantages of group work for students while teaching foreign languages at university, showing the feasibility of using group work in higher education. Methods of analysis and systematization of primary sources, interviews, questionnaires, and focus groups were used during the consideration of the problem. The process of teaching English in higher education has certain features that are associated with different initial levels of language training of freshmen; the number of hours to study the subject; the number of groups; and sometimes absent enthusiasm for learning a foreign language. We emphasize that group work plays an important role in the educational process, and its introduction into the educational process should be one of the main tasks for students of philological specialties. Practice has proved that high-quality training in foreign languages for philological specialties can be carried out through the introduction of modern educational technologies, such as: vocational training, project methodology, technology, such as: vocational training, project methodology, technology of fixing and distance learning, information and communication technologies, and educational and control work. The study found that the use of interactive learning technology involves seeking help in communication, including cognitive communication and constructivist methods of teaching a foreign language. The facts proved that the use of innovative methods of teaching English and multimedia teaching methods can enhance the motivation of students to study foreign languages, provide access to new alternative sources of information, develop independent psychological activity, and develop communication skills, intercultural and professional abilities. Interactive technologies and online resources play an important role in group work while learning foreign languages, providing an effective and engaging learning process. They promote active interaction between students, stimulate involvement in language learning and improve language skills. To determine the advantages and disadvantages of group work, we conducted interviews with teachers and students to collect their impressions and thoughts about group work in the context of teaching foreign languages. Subsequently, the reviews of teachers and students about their experience in groups during the study of foreign languages were analysed. Questionnaires were compiled, which included questions about impressions and thoughts about group work in the context of studying foreign languages. The questions concerned the advantages and disadvantages of this training method, the efficiency from group work, the influence on motivation, etc. Focus groups were held with students and separately with teachers to discuss their impressions and thoughts about group work. This allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of different points of view and identify general trends. In group work during the study of foreign languages, the teacher and students play different roles, each of which has its own importance for successful learning. We will discuss the role of the teacher-facilitator. The teacher acts as an organizer and leader of group work, promoting structured learning and problem solving. Students actively interact with each other and with the teacher, exchanging ideas and opinions, completing tasks and solving problems. Scientists have demonstrated that the active participation of students in group work contributes to the improvement of critical thinking and the development of communication skills. The use of group work while teaching foreign languages at university has its advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, it promotes the development of communication skills, and stimulates cooperation and motivation of students. On the other hand, there may be a risk of social blind steering, problems with the distribution of responsibilities and conflicts between group members. It has been concluded that it is important to properly organize and control the process of group work to achieve maximum efficiency in teaching foreign languages.

Purpose. The promising directions for transforming scattered electronic testing resources into an innovative training system designed to develop competencies in the field of higher education in modern Russia are considered in this article. The research subject is methodological approaches to the preparation of test databases, the organization of training and pedagogical control in the electronic environment of the university. The main purpose of research is explanation of the basic techniques and methods of practical application of testing for the improvement of students' cognitive activity. Methodology. The methodological basis of the research includes methods such as comparative, monographic and structural-logical analysis, estimating, rating as well as dialectical, didactic and systematic approaches. Results. The algorithm has been developed for the integrated implementation of the instrumental capabilities of computer testing as a methodological basis for an innovative training system at the intra-university level. The authors argue that the variety of test task helps students concentrate their attention on the content of the training material. Alternatively, in the opinion of the authors, regular intra-university and external testing should be used as forms of distance learning and pedagogical diagnostics in combination with traditional forms of organizing independent work and control. It allows us to reveal the creative potential of the individual and motivate students to continue their studies at a higher level of education. Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in the field of higher education in teaching of economic theory, history and other social and humanitarian disciplines.

The modern education system is subject to changes, accompanied by the introduction of a number of innovations, because it must adapt to the requirements of a dynamically developing society. Among such innovations is the introduction of an effective contract in the state universities as an innovative mechanism for stimulating the work of scientific and pedagogical workers. The need for criteria-based assessment of the effectiveness of a higher school teacher, depending on the individual results of his work, has actualized the importance of studying the problem of an effective contract model in higher education and identified the research problem: what is the essence of an effective contract as an innovative mechanism for stimulating the work of scientific and pedagogical workers? The purpose of the research is to reveal the essence of an effective contract as an innovative aspect of stimulating the professional activity of a university teacher and its main components. The following research methods were used: analysis, synthesis, description, interpretation, comparison. Systematic and logical approaches were used. The results of the research: 1) the concept of «performance-based contract of employment» in the legal and scientific-pedagogical field has been described; 2) a brief overview of the concept of an performance-based contract of employment abroad and in Russia has been carried out; 3) the principles for developing criteria for professional achievements of teaching staff have been substantiated. Key conclusions: 1) performance-based contract of employment is a balanced decomposition of criteria and performance indicators of the professional activity of a higher school teacher; 2) foreign and domestic concepts of a performance-based contract of employment are largely similar and include a set of interrelated components that reveal all aspects of a teacher’s professional activity: teaching, methodological, scientific,educational and sports; 3) the main principles of criteria-based assessment of scientific and pedagogical workers are: complexity, objectivity, quantitative assessment, adaptability, stimulation and motivation.

The article attempts to analyse the interim results of digitalisation of the Russian higher education system in the post-pandemic period. The research methods include an analysis of regulatory documents, statistical analysis of data gathered by the Federal State Statistics Service, and a secondary analysis of results from research centres of the Higher School of Economics, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and others. The main findings are related to the analysis of dynamics of indicators responsible for transformation of the social space in the higher education system during digitalisation. The authors view the digitalisation of higher school as a factor that perpetuates social inequality and stimulates the development of its new forms. They conclude that maintaining distance learning in universities contributes to communication barriers within the student community and between students and faculty as well. Slow increase in the digital literacy of teachers is emphasised. During the analysis, the authors conclude that the transformation of higher school through digitalisation is progressing at quite slow rate due to unhurried provision of universities with financial, technical, and personnel resources necessary for the digital transition. The novelty of the work lies in documenting the results of the transformation of social relations within the higher education system during digitalisation and defining its characteristic features, including the readiness of participants of the educational process to implement specific state vectors of the transformation of the Russian higher education

In the article, the authors present the developed didactic model of the practice of using forecasting methods during the study of the discipline "Forecasting socio-economic processes", which consists of three blocks: theoretical-analytical, activity-practical, summarizing-resultative. The theoretical-analytical block contains the theoretical material of the discipline "Forecasting socio-economic processes", which is presented in a convenient digitized format in the distance course environment. The content of this block includes the program, general methodical recommendations and a route map of the practicum in computer rooms. The activity-practical block provides a logical combination of various forecasting methods, which consists in their combination and use in accordance with a specific forecasting task and data characteristics. We focus on the main ways that can be used to combine methods. When studying the discipline "Forecasting socio-economic processes", the main emphasis is on practical exercises: selection of tasks, within which students perform: data analysis, building models, choosing optimal methods, justification. The summarizing-resultative block involves writing a report on each practical work and defending the results. Students should conclude that a combination of different forecasting methods allows for more accurate and reliable forecasts because they take into account different aspects of the data and the system, which helps to avoid one-sidedness and provide a comprehensive analysis of the situation. The article emphasizes the importance and explores the essence and content of the concept of social competence. It identifies the main components of social competence and the conditions for organizing the educational process to foster it. By analyzing the professional and social functions of specialists, the article identifies the components that should be based on an acmeological direction, social functions, and social norms of the individual, all of which are part of the main components of social competence. The optimization of the entire system of professional-pedagogical training involves finding effective approaches (in the context of level education) to develop social competence in future specialists. The article also demonstrates the importance of applying contextual learning theory to develop social competence in specialists. It outlines the components included in the structure of social competence and the main provisions of effective approaches and principles for the formation of social competence in students. In recent decades, the Russian education system has been constantly reformed. Its current state and problems cannot be understood without identifying the subject initiating and carrying out these permanent changes. Such a subject is an innovative bureaucracy - a specific type of bureaucracy that serves innovative processes and creates social and organizational routines from them. This bureaucracy managed to make a conveyor of innovations, which often moves in a circle - without beginning or end. The reforms have become pendulum and repeat at certain intervals. The article considers numerous consequences and excesses of the innovative bureaucracy’s dominance in the higher education management, which are determined by this bureaucracy success in replacing the real, socially significant goals of the higher education system with indicators that can be quickly achieved and reported as if for the public good. The harsh administrative pressure of the innovative bureaucracy leads to the constant updating and combination of standards (although not all their content can be standardized), to an increase in reporting (including in electronic, online form) and in teaching load. The lack and ambivalence of goals and the non-stop projects of changes hinder the formation of institutional matrix to meet the contemporary challenges and determine destabilizing processes in the education system. The authors argue that an institutional approach to the higher education management can change the situation, since it focuses not on administrative orders and formal goals but on establishing norms and rules for the education system self-development. Thus, the efficiency of the education system should be evaluated by the society and the state and not by representatives of the innovative bureaucracy, who strive to preserve the innovation conveyor. The principles of post-industrial management should be applied in the higher education system, replacing the bureaucratic approach to the implementation of innovations.

Everyday, artificial intelligence (AI) is being increasingly integrated into the teaching and learning process at Russian universities. The high level of quality of feedback from AI tools leads to the spread of AI plagiarism – unauthorized borrowing of generative AI materials – among students. The purpose of this study is to: a) highlight aspects that determine students’ understanding of the issues of compliance with author’s ethics and the problem of plagiarism when interacting with generative AI; b) develop a questionnaire to determine students’ understanding of the issues of compliance with author’s ethics and the problem of AI plagiarism; c) conduct an online survey of university students, analyze and discuss the results obtained. The paper highlights five aspects that determine students’ understanding of the issues of compliance with author’s ethics and the problem of AI plagiarism when completing educational assignments and preparing research texts: a) students’ general understanding of the issues of compliance with author’s ethics and the problem of plagiarism in an academic environment; b) students’ experience of AI tools for educational purposes; c) students’ understanding of the problem of AI plagiarism and attitude towards borrowing materials from generative AI; d) teachers’ actions to prevent AI plagiarism among students; e) the policy of educational organizations regarding student compliance with ethics and AI plagiarism. An online questionnaire was developed to determine the degree to which students understand the issues of compliance with copyright ethics and the problem of AI plagiarism. 1,599 students from 29 universities of the Russian Federation took part in the survey. The results showed that in general, in the Russian student community, plagiarism is a widespread social phenomenon, many types of which are perceived by young people as a norm of academic behavior. Despite the relatively high awareness of students in the field of AI technologies, the extremely rare use by teachers of specialized subject disciplines of AI tools in the educational process I’d the reason for the current low level of spread of AI plagiarism in the academic environment. At the same time, it is necessary to state that students lack a systematic understanding of exactly how they can “legally” use generative AI materials and what exactly will be considered AI plagiarism. According to students, the importance of understanding the issues of compliance with author ethics and the problem of AI plagiarism will depend, on the one hand, on the actions of teachers to explain to students the rules for using generative AI materials, and on the other hand, the presence in universities of a regulatory framework regulating the field and the extent to which students use AI in the educational process.

Purpose. The requirements for training teachers for the general education system in the Russian Federation are defined by the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education in the field of "Pedagogical Education". The standard document defines universal and general professional competencies that are mandatory for all education (preschool, primary, basic general education and others). Professional competencies are defined on the basis of the professional standard "Teacher", specifically for each field and type of professional activity. The subject of the analysis is the search for an approach to forming the future primary school teachers' professional competencies. The main purpose of the article is to describe the technology of forming the future primary school teachers' professional competencies within a specific academic discipline. Methods. The research is based on a regulatory documents review, psychological and pedagogical literature analysis, and educational process examination. Results. The article presents the experience in organizing the study of a particular discipline. The discipline provides emotional and personal immersion of the future teachers into the professional activity and practical skills development. The author describes the ways to implement and apply effective teaching methods when organizing various types of classes in higher education institution. Practical application of the results. The findings are of direct practical relevance as can be useful for organizing the educational process in higher educational institutions in terms of the successful completion of basic educational programs and programs of additional education (specifically, retraining).

The legal foundations’ study for ensuring infrastructural interaction between business and higher education is the basis for building a hypothesis about the need to improve the conditions for the effective use of scientific developments, the development of intellectual capital and commercialization, as well as for the practical applicability of research achievements. The article analyzes the legislative basis that forms the basis for the interaction of business and higher education, where it is justified that small and medium-sized businesses should act as entrepreneurial activities. The analysis made it possible to identify shortcomings in the legislation that do not consider the requests of all interested parties (stakeholders). The interrelation of national projects is considered and it is highlighted that at the moment there is a trend in legislation to create conditions for interaction between business and higher education. In addition, a number of arguments are given justifying that in order to achieve economic development considering digital transformations of the economy, it is necessary to create conditions for ensuring infrastructural interaction between business and higher education, where small and medium-sized businesses act as entrepreneurship with the active participation of authorities.

The relevance of the study of innovative technologies in education is gaining importance, as it is aimed at improving the quality of education and preparing a new generation of specialists for the requirements of modern society. The rapid changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the military aggression of the Russian Federation, the spread of digitalization processes have led to the modernization of the higher education system and the introduction of innovative approaches based on the use of electronic educational resources and distance learning. The article examines the use of the latest tools, such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and others, in the educational process. The authors consider the implementation of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, online platforms as instruments for individualizing learning and providing access to educational materials in any place and time. The study is aimed at systematization of data on the benefits and risks that are characteristic of the introduction of innovative technologies into the learning process. It is determined that it is necessary to constantly improve pedagogical skills through the integration of innovative technologies in order to achieve a qualitatively new level of education. Overall, the article emphasizes the role of constant adaptation to the rapid pace of technological development to ensure effective and efficient learning.

In modern conditions, search for an ideal combination of resources to meet needs of society with maximum benefit for the participants is becoming a key task of the modern economy. This is provided by the infrastructure which is a space that allows for material and non-material resources to move freely and ensures the achievement of the intended goals. In this regard, the infrastructure is a link, a service subsystem that provides vital activity of the system itself and its survival in the market. The article analyses the key indicators, characterising the infrastructure of higher education. The patterns, providing both positive and negative trends in the development of higher education, are revealed.Among the key factors that require close attention of both theoretical and practical economists are the factors that describe the decline in demand for higher education. This is the position of students and employees of higher school organisations.

The article provides a meaningful definition of the concepts of STEM technology, STEM education, STEM approach, and STEM training; the meaning and main ways of using elements of augmented and virtual reality for higher education as a means of implementing STEM education are revealed. The purpose of the article is to show the importance and necessity of using elements of augmented reality in higher education as a means of implementing STEM education. As a result, an experimental study was conducted to clarify the state of development and the use of modern innovative technologies in education, clarifying the question -- of to what extent modern technologies can effectively organize distance learning, and STEM education in higher education when using elements of augmented reality, which are provided to messengers preference of educators, which platforms are used by teachers in working with students of higher education during quarantine, etc. The conclusions summarize the most effective modern technologies for preparing and conducting practical online classes in higher education as a means of implementing STEM education and highlight the most important condition for creating a STEM environment in higher education. Informatization of the educational space during postgraduate studies is a priority task of training applicants for the third educational and scientific level of higher education. A fundamentally important characteristic of the current stage of the development of science is its informatization. The process of informatization of society includes mediatization, computerization, and intellectualization. The Government of Ukraine has legislatively approved the task of informatization of society, thereby confirming the relevance of the issue. Among the scientific developments in open print on the issue of integration of educational and scientific activities of graduate students, the question of the influence of informatization on this process is little researched. The purpose of the study is to study the impact of informatization on research and educational work of graduate students and the possibility of using it as a tool for integrating these interrelated aspects of the activities of graduate students. In the national doctrine of the development of the education system, the determining factor of the effectiveness of its informatization is the ability of teachers to carry out professional activities using information and telecommunication technologies. The development and informatization of science and education require universities to constantly adjust the methods of training graduate students, taking into account new progressive methods of teaching and scientific research. Educators-researchers prone to innovation find it easier to introduce the results of modern scientific research into the educational process and effectively use modern information technologies. It is useful to increase the attention of graduate students to the fact that computer equipment and information technologies contribute to the automation and intensification of research. The article discusses the problem of implementing an integrated approach in the system of preschool education at the present stage both in preschool education institutions and in the system of higher school. Why did it become necessary to reconsider this problem, the relevance of which was discussed at length in the early twenty-first century? The appeal to the organization of the educational process in the preschool education system of Ukraine is connected with the adoption of the Concept "New Ukrainian School", which states that the leading principle of the content of education in primary school is the integration of the content of related new modules from other subjects (NUS, 2016: 25). The implementation of the principle of continuity in the organization of the educational process in preschool education has again raised the issue of intensifying the integrated approach in the system of preschool education, the core of which is the principle of integration. The article presents the results of the analysis of the scientific and terminological field of the concept of "integration" in terms of the variety of its interpretations and terminology in the definition of methodological approaches (integration, integrative, integral, integrated); specifies the application of the integrated approach in the modern educational field of both preschool education and higher school. Purpose of the article: to characterize the current state of implementation of the integrated approach in the modern practice of preschool education. The objectives of the study are to analyze the views of scientists on their understanding of the content position of scientific concepts that are components of the integrated approach. To focus the current practical application of the integrated approach in the system of preschool education.

The issue of personalized education in accounting disciplines in higher schools is posed in the present paper, rather to provoke interest in the topic than to categorically formulate answers. The author’s goal is to attempt to outline the degree of opportunity for personalized education versus mass education in accounting disciplines and to reveal some potential advantages of implementing this approach. Introduction. In modern social and educational conditions, the process of uncertainty in pedagogical practice occurs at a rapid pace, due to the globalisation and digitalisation of education, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, there are teachers’ transformations and new functions, which cannot affect their pedagogical capabilities; therefore, the article presents a problem on this issue.Aim. The aim of this problematic article is to consider from different points of view the phenomenon of uncertainty in pedagogical activity and the transformation of the functions of higher school teachers in the conditions of uncertainty caused by the digitalisation of education.Methodology and research methods. The work was based on the methodology of interdisciplinary analysis of theoretical sources, foreign and Russian pedagogical experience in the field of uncertainties; the method of questioning and interviewing teachers of higher education was used to identify attitudes to professional activity in conditions of uncertainty.Results and scientific novelty. In the course of the study, it was found that at the present stage of education development, the transformation of the functions of higher school teachers in conditions of uncertainty is not investigated either in Russian pedagogical practice or abroad due to the undeveloped theoretical provisions in this area of pedagogical activity. The problem is posed in the field of transformation of the capabilities and functions of higher school teachers in conditions of uncertainty from the perspective of different sciences. The scientific novelty of the research is the following developed provisions: 1) a new interpretation of the concept of “professional functions of a teacher” is proposed, including professional competence and professional activity of a teacher in a digital educational environment within his/her subject area at the university; 2) a pedagogical model of transformation of teacher functions in a digital educational environment is developed, including the functions of teaching, upbringing, methodological function, as well as the function of digital didactics and the digital competence function of the teacher; 3) the uncertainty factors and their content that influence the process of transformation of the functions of higher school teachers are identified: technological management of pedagogical activity; pedagogical practice without emotional contact between the subjects of the educational process; self-realisation in a virtual environment; the need for design thinking; personal growth of a teacher in a digital educational environment; transformation of the functions of managing their own pedagogical practice; 4) a classification of uncertainties encountered in the professional activities of higher school teachers has been developed based on two characteristics – belonging to professional educational activities and digital support of pedagogical practice.Practical significance. The proposed classification and uncertainty factors influencing the process of transformation of the functions of higher school teachers can be used in pedagogical practice to determine internal and external influences on teachers in the digital educational environment.

The purpose of the study is a comparative analysis of some indicators of physical development and physical fitness of university students of various physical education groups before and after the restrictions of COVID-19. The article presents the experience of monitoring the physical development of higher school students by the Laboratory of Sports and Tourism (LS&T) of the Institute of Physical Culture of Sports and Tourism (IFKSiT) of the Siberian Federal University (SFU).The indicators of physical development and physical fitness of students of 1–3 courses, boys and girls aged 17–22 years of physical education groups: aerobics, basketball and special medical group (SMG) of various institutes of SFU are represented, the analysis shows that these indicators in the groups under study during the predominance of distance learning are insignificantly reduced. The most reduced indicator is the relative strength indicator. The lowest indicators of physical development and physical fitness for all the considered parameters are characteristic of SMG students. The least reduced indicators of physical development and physical fitness were characteristic of the representatives of the aerobics groups, while the flexibility indicator was improved. The current unfavorable epidemiological situation has confirmed the need for the development of various systems for monitoring indicators of physical and functional conditions, physical development, health and physical fitness for higher education, both in the context of the implementation of the subject of physical culture in the educational process and correction of developmental influences during classes, and in the formation of a health-preserving environment of educational institutions.

Aspects of successful application of distance learning technologies are introduced. It is stated that for their effectiveness, modern educational material must have methodical, pedagogical and technological authorship. When misused, the wide range of remote technologies can cause deficiencies that reduce the effectiveness of educational systems and reduce the motivation for their use.

Problem statement. Nowadays, people are increasingly talking not about the progressive development of higher education in the context of the use of digital technologies, but about its more drastic digital transformation. The problem of identifying and systematizing patterns characterizing the development of universities in the context of the mass introduction of new digital technologies, as well as changes in external influences on student training systems, is urgent. The solution of this problem is significant for determining further scientific and pedagogical research, as well as ways to develop teacher training systems. The purpose of the study is to identify on the basis of domestic and foreign analytical data (OECD, UNESCO and others) directions, characteristics, problems and prospects of informatization of higher education. Methodology. The analysis of scientific publications on the development of didactics and the use of modern teaching tools in universities is based on the study of the species composition and specifics of existing digital resources, the use of mathematical methods for processing numerical data and technologies for their visualization. Results. It is shown that modern informatization of higher education is characterized by the spread of online courses, collections of digital resources, a decrease in the number of computer equipment in universities, the penetration of technologies of the new industrial revolution and many other factors. The development of a fundamental component of higher education that is invariant with respect to the development of technologies, the preparation of students for the use of promising technologies in professional activities, the pooling of resources into a single digital educational environment are significant. Conclusion. Research should be continued to ensure and evaluate the quality of all types of learning tools, to identify theoretical and practical approaches to the integration and unification of disparate information systems. There is a need for a scientifically based substantive and methodological update of the systems of training and retraining of all specialists working in the conditions of digital transformation of higher education.

The ambivalent nature of the higher educational process was clearly manifested during the COVID–19 pandemic. Such an organization of teaching process generates new cognitive learning model, thus being the relevance of this study. Purpose. It is aimed at identification of students’ verbal ambivalent behavior and function to the new learning format over two time periods in dynamics: 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. The scientific novelty of the study is to establish students’ ambivalent assessment of the educational process in terms of COVID–19. This assessment was proved experimentally during the survey. Materials and methods. Materials of research are written recorded responses received from students during pragmalinguistic survey at the university. The following research methods were used: survey, lexico-semantic, pragmalinguistic experiment, as well as quantitative and interpretive methods. Results. The pragmalinguistic survey gives a detailed analysis of appraisal vector over the two reference groups: the survey of the first period has changed significantly compared to the second period. All 167 respondents showed ambivalent reactions, the first group demonstrates positive-negative ambivalence, while the second group shows negative-positive ambivalence. Thus, the ambiguous, diametrically-opposed attitude of students to the educational reality from the ambivalence research approach was established.

This text puts the primary emphasis on the relationship of postmodern time and artistic discourses in the context of the Higher School. It attempts to analyse the advantages and disadvantages of postmodernism in relation to artistic texts that can be used in pedagogues’ training. Postmodernism is a whole movement of ideas that changes perspectives on both learning and teaching, and it is up to us to use them successfully. Particular attention has been paid to reading as a cultural and pedagogical phenomenon, which significantly determines the direction in understanding and interpreting artistic texts for instructional purposes. The message of this study is that the artistic pedagogical discourse and texts of postmodernism have new characteristics and issues that are to be known and applied correctly by teachers in their professional thinking. New information technologies for learning a foreign language, which are necessary for the high-quality training of a specialist, have been analyzed. The goal of informatization of education is determined, and it is shown as a priority and necessary direction of informatization of society, which has a mandatory priority of applying new information technologies in the education system. Information technologies, improve the study of a foreign language, provide an opportunity for deep and rapid assimilation of vocabulary, learning to write, clarity of pronunciation, dialogic and monologic speech, and improvement of grammatical structures. The peculiarities of distance learning when learning a foreign language are determined. When learning a foreign language, a mandatory element of its quality study is the use of telecommunication technologies in the educational process. The most powerful and effective elements of information and computer technologies during education, essential innovative technologies in the methodology of teaching foreign languages, which should be used by students in higher education, are singled out. For teaching a foreign language, in general, and for stimulating the cognitive activity of students, in particular, it is necessary to use digital tools. Providing inclusive learning at higher school is fulfilled on the basis of using specialized infrastructure, pedagogical practice and pedagogical workers' effective work. An important direction of the study in the academic paper is the analysis of the key principles of forming inclusive learning at higher school using the experience of developed countries and its implementation in pedagogical practice. The issue of ensuring inclusive education is an urgent one for the social policy of any country, as it plays a significant role in ensuring the development of human capital and promoting demographic policy. The purpose of the present academic paper is to analyze the features of organizing inclusive learning at higher school. The state policy for inclusive education formation should include several measures aimed at improving the educational environment, training highly qualified pedagogical workers and a number of tools used during the educational process. The academic paper studies the key principles of organizing inclusive learning and the basis for its further development. Particular attention is paid to the issue of using the means of organizing inclusive education aimed at developing emotional and academic intelligence. The scientific article outlines the basic principles of establishing inclusive education and opportunities for improving the implementation quality. The research results indicate the necessity to improve the state social policy, the introduction of innovative infrastructure and specialized means used to improve the quality of inclusive education. The article presents an assessment of the level of social prestige of the academic profession in Russia and European countries. In literature a thesis about the crisis of academic profession in prevail. The empirical part of the study is based on the results of in-depth interviews with academic staff in Europe (45 informants, 2016–2019) and Russia (120 informants, 2019–2021). Informants from European universities note the high prestige of the profession, but aslo point out its decrease from the end of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st century. One of the reasons is the ignorance of society about the professional activities of scientific and pedagogical workers and their official duties, which are much broader than the transfer of knowledge to students. In addition, socio-economic factors, insufficient funding for higher education, multitasking and multidisciplinary functions of academic workers, consumer attitude of students to the educational process were named as reasons for the decline in prestige. In opposite to foreign colleagues, Russian informants has noted the increase in the prestige of the profession in recent years. At the same time, this trend does not apply to all scientific and pedagogical staff, but only to those who meet high qualification requirements. Informants from Russian universities note a positive and respectful perception of the academic profession, both by the general public and by the social environment.

The research analyzes a survey of Ukrainian teachers regarding the advantages of cloud technologies provided by Google Workspace for Education. We surveyed 167 respondents from different regions of Ukraine. They were asked to complete a specially designed questionnaire that included three closed-ended multiple-choice questions and two open-ended questions that required extended responses. It was found out that during distance or blended learning teachers together with students most often use Google Sheets, Google Meet, Google Forms and Google Documents. The most significant advantages of Google Workspace for Education services are the convenience and usability, as well as a possibility of distance learning.

The article studies an acute issue of university development, in particular the Russian Plekhanov University of Economics, in the context of participation in the contest of universities claiming leadership in working out new academic knowledge, technologies and innovation to be introduced in Russian economy and social sphere under the program of strategic academic leadership ‘Priority 2030’. Restructuring of the current organizational structure of governing educational and academic work acts as a fundamental trend providing implementation of the new strategic program of university development meeting the principles of ‘Priority-2030‘. After a long period of splitting education and science by vertical lines of the predominant linear-functional model, today restructuring implies their integration on the basis of a new strategic unit, i. e. higher school. Concrete advantages of higher school as a new strong point in the system of university governance were demonstrated in comparison with faculties and chairs and hyper-faculties or departments in other universities. A project mechanism of education program management was put forward, which leans on its academic leader. The authors formulated the algorithm of building the academic and educational potential of university and developed a principle scheme of the university educational and academic platform organization, illustrated by the subject field ‘Economic and Management’.

The article considers preconditions of creation and the history of opening, formation and transformations of the first Russian higher education institution – Slavic Greek Latin Academy in Moscow.

In the article the position of philosophy as the subject intended for obligatory studying by the future technical experts is considered. Merits and demerits of a philosophical discourse for dominating technical rationality are shown. The leading role of philosophy in construction of a new, not-technogenic and more humane society is defined.

The development of technology, digitization and Internet have an impact on business, education, etc. The speed of knowledge that becomes obsolete requires the continuous acquisition of new knowledge to be competitive in the labor market, resp. to implement the lifelong learning strategy. All this requires analyzing the problems about training in accounting in Bulgaria in accordance with the changing accounting practice. The object of research is training in accounting at higher schools, which as of January to December 2022 are accredited to train students in the professional field "Economics" in the educational and qualification degree Bachelor and Master in the field of accounting, and the subject -- the new requirements of employers for specialists with higher accounting and economic education, the impact of new technologies on training and accounting practice. The aims are to visualize the key trends in the development of accounting education, the options for their integration into the educational process, and to bring out the possibilities for increasing the competitiveness of specialists with higher accounting and economic education in the Tsenov Academy of Economics, Svishtov on the educational market. The research thesis is that the improvement of accounting education in accordance with European and national priorities, standards and regulations, and in accordance with the changing needs of practice, incl. innovations in the educational process, will stimulate the economic development of the country. The organization of the educational process in terms of competence-based approach provided by the Federal state standards of higher education requires the teacher to review the structure, forms of organization of activities, principles of interaction of subjects of the learning process. Interactive technologies that combine problem learning, information and communication technologies, and project methods are becoming promising learning technologies. The use of dialogical methods of communication, a variety of creative activities ofjoint search for the truth in the process of environmental training of students contributes to the formation of environmental-oriented component of competencies.

The article considers the regulatory mechanism of remuneration of teachers, the specifics of the economic component of remuneration in higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. The fundamental differences between economics and legal regulation of incentive payments to teachers of higher education have been investigated, aspects of compensation payments have been analysed. A number of problems of an economic, regulatory and law enforcement nature have been identified, which can reduce the motivation of the pedagogical community and negatively affect the quality of training of graduates of higher school. For each problem area, proposals have been developed to improve the provision of incentive and compensation payments in higher education institutions. The proposals are designed to increase the demand for pedagogical work and the competitiveness of domestic universities and enterprises.

Purpose: of the article is to study the basic principles of higher education and their impact on the formation of a socially active position of universities and their involvement in achieving sustainable development goals on the scale of global humanity.Methods: is based on the application of systemic and institutional approaches to the study of the role of higher education in solving the problems of society, as well as a group of methods of scientifc cognition: dialectical and retrospective, induction and deduction, comparative analysis, the method of rating assessment and others.Results: the essence of the fundamental principles of higher education – academic freedom and academic responsibility, which form the value basis of classical education in its historical period of development, is revealed. In modern conditions, these principles are increasingly reflected in the activities of universities related to their key role in solving economic, social and environmental problems. More and more often universities declare their social responsibility and prove it by the example of their decisions in the conditions of social crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic isconsidered one of the crisis situations, and the measures taken by the university leadership to support the teaching staff and its student audience are a kind of indicator of social responsibility. The range of tasks in which the higher school is involved is quite wide. It covers problems of a global nature, one of which is the search for ways of sustainable development of mankind: universities take responsibility for achieving the selected Sustainable Development Goals and report to society for the effectiveness of this area of their activities.Conclusions and Relevance: the implementation by universities of socially responsible behavior towards their internal stakeholders (teachers, students, employees), integration into solving vital problems of society, as well as involvement in achieving Sustainable Development Goals clearly demonstrate the transformation of their mission. Universities enter into an active dialogue with society to solve problems at different levels of economic systems, making efforts to combine the spheres of knowledge production, scientifc research expected by society, the transformation of knowledge and scientifc results into practice through the initiation of new directions and activities, technological transformation of the scientifc and educational space, diversifcation of channels of interaction with society

The article deals with new challengers in higher education system in terms of reality caused by coronavirus COVID-19. Some positive experience in English distance teaching and learning (at the basis of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Ukraine) is described as it is significant in pandemic and may become useful for post pandemic society to improve educational processes. The purpose of the paper is to share positive ideas for English e-learning organization at the tertiary level in pandemic in order to use e-learning gains in further educational practice, highlight and solve its problems. General theoretical methods (analysis and synthesis) as well as empirical (observation and discussion) helped to find out advantages and identify disadvantages of the issue under study. The study has reached the following conclusions: asynchronous distance learning is effective for highly motivated students; synchronous forms demonstrate ability for developing all kinds of language skills. Advantages of distance teaching and learning there are: opportunity to display necessary didactic material on screen, to play audio recording or video materials for students in better quality. We have identified these problems: necessity of strong students’ motivation, connected with self-organization and the ability to work independently; sometimes insufficient technical skills of academic staff; academic dishonesty, which leads to meaninglessness of testing.

Global experience shows that society has to be focused on the model of new economy and recommendations of cognitology to improve the reliability of the functioning and development of society. Although many publications partially suggest options for solving this problem, complex analysis of the resources for the development of Ukrainian society still lacks methodological and practical substantiation. Thus, this article is aimed at summarizing the prerequisites for the development of theoretical and practical support for the formation of a social pattern within the new economy alongside with the development and utilization of cognitive resources. The article presents analysis of a) the trend to change social patterns, and b) factors that ensure the switch to using new knowledge that can provide designing and implementing successful reforms of society, as a whole and its economic system, in particular. The article proposes a variant of a collective survey hypothesis: “In a steady growth of the role and value of the latest knowledge in the innovative development of the economy, the cognitive capital of the firm, that is, knowledge of how to produce the latest corporate knowledge becomes a critical factor in providing large-scale and continuous innovations and progressive social and economic development of a country, in general.” Almost all scientists performing research of resources for the development of new economy have determined that it updates knowledge development. Combining provisions of philosophy, psychology and management presented in various research works, we have formed the theoretical basis for studying the cognitive potential of an employee. The necessity of gradual introduction of a research component into the academic activity of higher school is substantiated. The characteristic of each stage is presented as for the following: the purpose of the educational process, the criteria for assessing its results, the peculiarities of student's academic counselling.
