Abstract

In the process of carrying out the installation of large flue, because the thickness of the flue is thin, it is easy to deform when hoisting with wire rope, and too much deformation will affect the subsequent use of the flue, resulting in waste, so in order to reduce the deformation of the flue, the existing conditions are utilized, and the bracket is added inside the flue to play the role of support, and the deformation of the flue is reduced. Using 3D modeling and numerical simulation software, the flue structure before and after adding supports was modeled and numerically analyzed, and the two simulation results were compared, and the deformation of the flue after adding supports was analyzed to be relatively obvious under the action of hoisting.

According to the practical engineering application, three-dimensional modeling of electric hoist and I-beam track is carried out, and the model is simplified to determine the electric hoist load, roller acceleration and speed, and the Abaqus software is used to simulate, analyze the simulation results, observe the actual maximum load under the track stress and strain to meet the requirements, calculate the allowable stress, Observe whether it exceeds the allowable stress and whether plastic deformation occurs. If the numerical simulation results of stress and strain are within the safety requirements, the project can be implemented.

3. Effect of saline sedimentary environment on pore throats of shale

Abstract

Shale pore throat is one of the key factors affecting shale oil and gas exploitation. In order to study the effect of saline on shale pore throat in the continental lacustrine basin, the paleo-salinity of the lacustrine basin was analyzed using the Couth and Sr/Ba methods, and the pore throat characteristics of shale were observed by thin section and scanning electron microscope. The saline stage is divided into five stages: freshwater (0.5‰–1‰), brackish water (1‰–5‰), brackish water (5‰–15‰), brackish water (15‰–30‰), and high saltwater (>30‰). Shale is mainly reserved in micropores (organic, intercrystalline, and intergranular pores) and microcracks (along-layer, high pressure, structural, and mineral shrinkage cracks). Paleosalinity affects the pore throat characteristics of shale by controlling the mineral composition, rock combination type, and texture. Carbonate minerals tend to dissolve and form dissolution pores, resulting in pore throat enlargement and better physical properties. When salinity is low, the content of carbonate minerals increases with the increase in salinity. However, in the case of high salinity, the content of carbonate minerals gradually decreases, but that of sulfate and gypsum increases with the increase in salinity. The texture is conducive to the development of microcracks. With the increase in salinity, the number of textures first increases and then decreases. When the content is 15 ‰–30‰, there are most abundant textures, making it most likely to form microcracks. The results of this study play an important role in promoting the study of shale in the continental lacustrine basin.

4. The effect of individual tolerance threshold of commuting time on commute mode choice: a case study of Kunming, China.

Abstract

Commuting tolerance constrains people's choice behavior of residential location, workplace location or travel mode. However, the characteristics of tolerance threshold of commuting time (TTCT) and its impact on commuting mode choice have not received enough attention. To reveal the influence of TTCT on commuting mode choice, the semi-compensatory decision-making mechanism was used to modify the commuting utility function. Based on the multinominal logit model (MNL), the constraint characteristic and heterogeneity characteristic of TTCT were considered, therefore, the constrained multinomial logit model (CMNL) and the mixed piecewise logit model (Mixed-PMNL) were established, respectively. The results of an empirical study of 823 commuters in Kunming, China, showed that: Respondents' TTCT is mainly distributed in 30-50 minutes, with a sample mean of 40 minutes. Respondents' commute mode, workplace location, and educational background have a significant impact on their TTCT. The goodness of fit of the CMNL model is higher than that of the MNL model, indicating that integrating TTCT into the commute utility function could help to improve the fitting effect of the commute mode choice model. Furthermore, the goodness of fit of the Mixed-PMNL model is higher than that of the CMNL model, proving that considering the heterogeneity of TTCT into the utility function could help to improve the explanatory power of the commute mode choice model. The utility loss functions of both CMNL and Mixed-PMNL illustrate the penalty effect of TTCT on commuting utility. When the actual commuting time exceeds TTCT, the commuting utility will lose, and the magnitude of the utility loss of different commute modes are different. The utility loss of active commuting is the most severe, while that of car commuting is the least. The more respondents' acceptable commuting cost, the more likely they are to choose cars to go to work. We conclude that it is necessary to consider the impact of the individual commute tolerance on mode choice when formulating the policy to guide car commuters transfer to active modes.
