A multitude of factors contribute to quality service in restaurants, classified into dimensions such as tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Gratifying guests is crucial for retaining current patrons and enticing new ones, resulting in benefits like heightened loyalty and positive word-of-mouth promotion. This, in turn, influences profitability and the restaurant's long-term presence in the market. This paper seeks to analyze the factors impacting guest satisfaction in Kosovo's restaurants, including assessing the quantifiable impact of these factors on overall guest contentment. A structured questionnaire on Five point Licker scale was used to collect the data. The survey covers 200 guests in classic restaurants in different cities in Kosovo. A cross-tabulation of the survey variables was performed, applying the correlation method and multiple regression analysis to determine the direction and strength of each group of factors on guest satisfaction in Kosovo. The study reveals a positive impact of all service quality dimensions on guest satisfaction, including tangible elements (correlation 0.859, determination 0.738), reliability (correlation 0.870, determination 0.758), responsiveness (correlation 0.948, determination 0.889), assurance (correlation 0.876, determination 0.768), and empathy (correlation 0.804, determination 0.646). This underscores the importance for restaurants to focus on these dimensions to retain existing and attract new guests. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Tourism is a major factor in economic growth and development, especially in rural tourism trends where it is a stimulus for sustainable development. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of economic, environmental, and social factors on the sustainable development of tourism in Kosovo. Also, structural (questionnaire) data were used because this method is more effective and helps us to collect reliable data to achieve the objectives of the study. The sample in this research is 85 individuals that we have discovered who have visited these tourist places during 2021. The collected data are processed using the program SPSS 23 (Statistical Package for Social Scientists). To confirm the hypotheses in this research we used the method of correlation and linear regression. Rural tourism has a positive impact on the development of the local economy, increasing the number of jobs, increasing the quality of businesses, developing local culture, increasing local knowledge and it helps raise awareness of residents. COVID-19 pandemic ,TOURISM ,MODERN society ,GASTRONOMY ,IMMIGRANTS - Abstract
Our country Kosovo is affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic undoubtedly, the pandemic has left consequences on the economy of all countries of the world, as well as our country Kosovo is facing an unfavorable economic situation, which has affected almost all sectors of economy, where among the sectors most affected by this situation are considered to be that of Tourism. Measures taken by the Government to prevent the spread of the pandemic have greatly affected these sectors, who initially had to close businesses or work to order and deliver food to the customer for months, ensuring that very low income, enough to pay their workers or even enough to ensure the survival of these businesses. Kosovo is still facing the COVID 19 pandemic, and we have already entered the seventh month and we have not yet managed to implement even the first fiscal package, which would help these sectors to overcome this crisis. The ban on gastronomy and other businesses has greatly affected tourism, precisely because these businesses are highly interrelated. In Kosovo, the Covid-19 Pandemic has undoubtedly left great consequences in the tourism economy because as always in this season, our emigrants living abroad are under pressure, and during this time all businesses are merged with their arrival. ETHNOPSYCHOLOGY ,DECISION theory ,CULTURAL values ,CLOTHING stores ,EMPLOYEE motivation - Abstract
We make many decisions in a day (when we go to a restaurant, clothing store, when preparing for work, how much we need to save for a future vacation trip, etc.). It may be that our decisions are unconscious, but often we have to make conscious choices about the alternatives. Imagine a student who has finished high school. He has to decide whether to study psychology, accounting or art. How do cultural values influence individual decisions? One can expect an answer to this question either from descriptive (cognitive) psychology or from cross-cultural psychology. The purpose of this study is to highlight the importance of culture in decision making, in order to reflect on the main work related to employee behaviors on motivation and the latter’s influence on decision making. Descriptive theories in decision making, however, rarely consider culture factors in decision making. Therefore the study of culture and decision-making is a relatively new and unexplored field. This study discusses three examples of individual and collectivist decision-making using different methodologies to describe them. Decision-making is the choice between several options. TOURIST attractions , *ECONOMIC competition , *STRATEGIC planning - Abstract
This article explains the model for assessing tourism destination potential, consisting of three elements: factors (sources), attractions (tourist offers) and service systems (or support systems). This model is known as the "FAS model" (from "F-factors, Aattractions, S-support systems"). This model analyses and optimizes the behavior of the parties involved in the tourist destination, both internal and external, as a way of understanding the dynamics of that tourist destination. The FAS model can be applied as a tool that contributes to the strategic positioning of the tourist destination and to the achievement of greater competitiveness and sustainability, which contributes to the development of tourism. This model was created in the context of a study by European "Eureka" as a project tested and implemented in several tourist destinations. The implementation of the FAS methodology, in order to identify the tourism potential of Kosovo, will contribute to the recognition, emphasis and exploitation of the most important potentials of this country in terms of tourism development in general or certain types of tourism separately. At the same time, all tourism resources should be identified as the basis for creating a tourist offer and such a bid will be more easily implemented with the help of services. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

GLOBALIZATION ,INTERNATIONAL economic integration ,ECONOMIC development - Abstract
Globalization represents an unavoidable phenomenon in the history of mankind, which is making the world smaller and smaller by increasing the exchange of goods, services, information, knowledge and cultures between different countries. Globalization is a process that has changed a lot in our everyday lives. This multidimensional and contradictory process brings to life the hopes and achievements that life can bring to it. The rush for greater competition is one of the main objectives of globalization. Such a thing can only be reached with market liberalization, economic integration and technology development. It is important for us to benefit from globalization. Therefore, during this paper we will discuss the importance of globalization for the integration and development of countries in the US and as a case study for Kosovo. Globalization is an unstoppable process for Kosovo, and a hope for integration and development that will impact on economic development and integration into the European Union. Following the Declaration of Independence of Kosovo on 17 February 2008 and the entry into force of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo on 15 June 2008, the same objectives, more than before, were introduced in Kosovo. Like other transition countries, Kosovo also declared membership in the EU not only objective of foreign policy, but also a strategic social and state goal. The definition of this decision puts Kosovo at the forefront of the transition, reform and harmonization process with EU criteria. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BANKING industry ,ECONOMIC development ,INTEREST rates - Abstract
Developing a sustainable banking system is a prerequisite for developing an economy. The purpose of this paper is to extract all the important factors in the nature of banks and their direct role in economic development. This market study aims to analyse the banking system in Kosovo by determining and then analysing its structure, the degree of concentration of commercial banks in the banking market, their behaviour towards price, number of participants, banks operating in this market, types of products and services they provide, in order to assess the level of competition in this sector, in accordance with the right of competition. For this purpose, the study describes the functioning of the banking system as a whole and its special segments, regulatory supervisory instruments and their role not only in the functioning of the banking system but also in effective competition. Since the beginning of the operation of commercial banks, which is over 16 years, the market still dominates high interest rates on loans, which, to some extent, is a burden on economic entities, and thus the economy as a whole. Unlike modernization, globalization is a process somewhat independent from the will of its adhering participants. This thesis represents Robertson sociologist giving a description based on which capital, ideas and cultural codes, with the help of new communication tools, expand worldwide. With rapid development of media and mass electronic communications is eliminated the importance of space and leads to shrinking (narrowing) of time and space which is a serious threat to national cultural identities. Fukuyama in his apology of liberal democracy warns "final political neutralization of nationalism" in terms of overall centralization and linguistic unity of the world. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Tourism as an economic activity is a consumer of agricultural products. Since most of the population of the Republic of Kosovo live in rural settlements, and given the extremely favorable physical and geographical conditions, then the country has a potential at its disposal for the development of rural tourism. The latitudes in which the Republic of Kosovo extend create conditions for the development of tourism in rural areas. Elements and climatic factors are the determining basis which gives us to understand that the Republic of Kosovo can develop rural tourism. There are a series of components that the country has at its disposal for the development of this form of tourism which will be very profitable for the local economy. The development of rural tourism in the Republic of Kosovo represents an untapped potential for the local economy. The Republic of Kosovo with the available conditions, very suitable geographical position, physical-geographical and socio-geographical conditions has an important basis for the development of rural tourism. This form of tourism development is in its infancy. Over time it will be functional and will bring benefits to the local economy. Rural settlements with the youngest population in Europe, including local products from agriculture and other economic activities are a good basis for developing a quality tourist offer. We will increase tourist consumption which will affect the increase of local gross domestic product and overall economic development. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
