In the present study, the elastic scattering angular distribution of 6He on 58Ni is investigated at incident energies of 12.2, 16.5 and 21.7 MeV. Three different nuclear potentials by means of the phenomenological and the microscopic approaches based on the optical model are used in the calculations. The elastic scattering results of all the models are compared with the literature resultsas well as the experimental data.

In the present study, the elastic scattering angular distribution of 6He on 58Ni is investigated at incident energies of 12.2, 16.5 and 21.7 MeV. In the calculations, three different nuclear potentials obtained with the phenomenological and the microscopic approaches based on the optical model are used. Firstly, the phenomenological Woods-Saxon potential for both real and imaginary parts of nuclear potential is considered. Secondly, the double folding potential for the real part together with an imaginary part in Woods-Saxon form is applied. Finally, the real and imaginary parts of nuclear potential are assumed as the folding potentials. The elastic scattering results of all the models are compared with the literature results as well as the experimental data. The results are in agreement with the experimental data.

It is clear that detailed studies performed under identical experimental conditions are desirable to determine the effect of the chemical environment on the value of intensity ratios. To better understand this effect, we conducted measurements on K beta(1)/K alpha, K beta(2)/K alpha, K beta(2)/K beta(1) and K beta/K alpha x-ray intensity ratios. The K alpha and K beta(1,2) emission spectra for compounds of 4d transition metals Y, Zr, Nb, and Mo were measured using a Si(Li) solid-state detector. The samples were excited by 22.69 keV x-rays emitted from a Cd-109 radioisotopes source. Angular Dependence of Fluorescence X-Rays and Alignment of Vacancy State Induced by Radioisotopes

K beta-to-K alpha X-ray intensity ratios of Fe, Ni, Co, Ti, V in pure form and PERMENDUR49 (Fe49Co49V2), KOVAR (Fe54Ni29Co17) and Ti50Co50 alloys were calculated in order to determine valence-electron structure of the samples. The obtained experimental K beta-to-K alpha X-ray intensity ratios were found to be 0.1252 +/- 0.0025, 0.1256 +/- 0.0027, 0.1298 +/- 0.0026, 0.1327 +/- 0.0028, 0.1346 +/- 0.0027 for pure Ti, V, Fe, Co and Ni, respectively. These values of present pure metals have increased with the increment in atomic number of these pure metals. Also, although the obtained these values for metal atoms in PERMENDUR49, Ti50Co50 and for Fe, Ni metal atoms in KOVAR approximately compatible with respect to results same pure metals, the obtained experimental Kb-to-Ka X-ray intensity ratios for Co in KOVAR are significantly different from the appropriate values for pure Co metal. Then, the valence-electron populations of these alloys were calculated in order to answer as to why the characteristic properties of the studied alloys are distinct from each other. The valence-electron structures of these metals in pure form and alloys were determined by comparison of the calculated Kb-to-Ka X-ray intensity ratios with the results of multi-configurations Dirac-Fock (MCDF) calculations to understand the charge-transfer and/or delocalization phenomena of these alloys. The experimental n(3d) values were found to be 3.2694, 4.7905, 7.7941, 7.9618, 8.500 for pure Ti, V, Fe, Co and Ni, respectively. The calculated 3d and 4s, 4p electron population values for Ti, V and Co in pure form have shown very little deviation from the appropriate values of Ti in Ti50Co50 and Co, V in PERMENDUR49. Also, the deviation for these values is greater for Fe, Ni, in KOVAR, Co in Ti50Co50, Fe in PERMENDUR49 with respect to the corresponding values of pure metals and the largest deviation for these values is observed for Co metal atoms in KOVAR alloy. We have also calculated the weighted average numbers of 3d and 4s, 4p electrons per one atom as well as the superposition of 3d and 4s, 4p electrons, as obtained from pure metal values. While the obtained superposition 3d electron numbers of present alloys exhibit a decreasing tendency as S-3d(Ti50Co50) < S-3d(PERMENDUR49) < S-3d(KOVAR), the obtained weighted average 3d electron numbers of present alloys has opposite tendency (A(3d)(KOVAR) < A(3d)(PERMENDUR49) < A(3d)(Ti50Co50)). The analysis show that valance-electron population of elements in these alloys indicated differences with respect to the pure metal and each other. These differences can be related to type of alloy elements, concentration of alloy elements, charge transfer and/or delocalizationphenomena between of individual metal atoms in alloys. Also, the obtained results show that there are alloying effect on valence-electron population due to charge transfer and/or delocalization phenomena. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Parafinin nötron ve gama parçacıklarını iyi soğuran bir materyal olduğu bilinir. Bu çalışmada amaç parafine belli oranlarda metal tozu karıştırarak nötronları en iyi soğuran zırhlama malzemesini elde etmektir. Monte Carlo Simülasyon tekniği kullanılarak Parafin, Epoksi, Alüminyum, Bor Karbür, Niyobyum, Bor, Krom, Nikel metal tozları ile parafin örnekleri oluşturuldu. Bazı materyaller 4,5 MeV'lik nötronlarla ayrı ayrı ışınlanarak nötron soğurganlıkları gözlemlendi. Metal tozu dolgulu materyallerin diğer materyallerden nötronları soğurmada daha uygun olduğu belirlendi., It is known that paraffin is a material that absorbs neutron and gamma particles. The aim of this study is to obtain the armor material that absorbs neutrons by mixing metal powder with certain proportions of paraffine. Paraffin, epoxy, aluminum, Boron Carbide, niobium, boron, chromium, nickel metal powders and paraffin samples were created using Monte Carlo simulation technique. Some materials were irradiated separately with 4.5 Mav neutrons, and neutron attenuations were observed. It was determined that metal powder-filled materials were more suitable for absorbing neutrons than other materials.

Bu çalışmada, Alumina (Al2O3) ve Zirkonya (ZrO2) seramikleri, Zirkonya ile sertleştirilmiş Alumina (ZTA) seramikleri (ZTA-10, ZTA-20, ZTA-30,ZTA-40, ZTA-50, ZTA-60, ZTA-70, ZTA-80 ve ZTA-90) ve Alumina ve Zirkonya içeren dört farklı seramik (S1, S2, S3 ve S4) malzemelerinin radyasyon zırhlama kabiliyetlerinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda incelenen seramiklerin radyasyon zırhlama parametreleri arasında olan lineer azaltma katsayıları, kütle azaltma katsayıları, ortalama serbest yolları ve yarı-değer kalınlıkları dört farklı radyoaktif kaynaktan (Co-60, Cs-137, Ba-133 ve Na-22) yayımlanan ve iyi bilinen sekiz farklı foton enerjisi (1,332 MeV; 1,275 MeV; 1,173 MeV; 0,662 MeV; 0,511 MeV; 0,356 MeV; 0,303 MeV ve 0,276 MeV) için hem MCNP-X kodu ile hem de WinXCOM yazılımı ile ayrı ayrı hesaplanmıştır. İncelenen seramiklerin foton zırhlama performansları hakkında kayda değer bir değerlendirme yapabilmek için tüm hesaplamalar hem kurşun (Pb) metali hem de birçok nükleer uygulamada zırhlama malzemesi olarak yaygın bir şekilde kullanılan sıradan beton için de yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar hem foton enerjisine hem de incelenen seramiklerin kimyasal birleşimine bağlı olarak her iki bilgisayar program sonuçları ile birlikte karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlardan hareketle incelenen seramiklerin nükleer uygulamalar için alternatif zırh malzemesi olabilirlikleri değerlendirilmiştir., In this study, it is aimed to investigate the radiation shielding capabilities of Alumina (Al2O3) and Zirconia (ZrO2) ceramics, Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) ceramics (ZTA-10, ZTA-20, ZTA-30, ZTA-40, ZTA-50, ZTA-60, ZTA-70, ZTA-80 and ZTA-90), four different ceramics (S1, S2, S3 and S4) including Alumina and Zirconia materials. In accordance with this purpose, the linear attenuation coefficients, mass attenuation coefficients, mean free paths and half-value layers from radiation shielding parameters of the ceramics examined were calculated separetely by using MCNP-X code and WinXCOM software for the well-known eight photon energies (1.332 MeV; 1.275 MeV; 1.173 MeV; 0.662 MeV; 0.511 MeV; 0.356 MeV; 0.303 MeV and 0.276 MeV) emited from four different radioactive sources (Co-60, Cs-137, Ba-133 and Na-22). In order to make a satisfying assessment about radiation shielding performances of the ceramics examined, all calculations were also made for both lead (Pb) metal and ordinary concrete that is most commonly used as shielding material in many nuclear applications. The results obtained were evaluated comparatively with both computer program results depending on both photon energy and chemical combination of the ceramics examined. Based on the results obtained, the possibility of alternative shielding material of the present ceramics for the nuclear applications was evaluated.

K shell X-ray fluorescence cross-sections (sigma(K alpha), sigma(K beta) and sigma(K)), and K shell fluorescence yields (omega(K)) of Ti, Ni both in pure metals and in different alloy compositions (TixNi1-x; x = 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7) were measured by using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique. The samples were excited by 22.69 keV X-rays from a 10 mCi Cd-109 radioactive point source and K X rays emitted by samples were counted by a high resolution Si(Li) solid-state detector coupled to a 4 K multichannel analyzer (MCA). The alloying effects on the X-ray fluorescence (XRF) parameters of Ti-Ni shape memory alloys (SMAs) were investigated. It is clearly observed that alloying effect causes to change in K shell XRF parameter values in Ti-Ni based SMAs for different compositions of x. Also, the present investigation makes it possible to perform reliable interpretation of experimental sigma(K alpha), sigma(K beta) and omega(K) values for Ti and Ni in SMAs and can also provide quantitative information about the changes of K shell X-ray fluorescence cross sections and fluorescence yields of these metals with alloy composition. The investigated fluorescence parameters of present 3d transition elements in alloys indicate significant differences with respect to the pure metals. In this paper, we have reported the structural and magnetic properties of CuxNi1-(x) (x = 055) and CuyNiz Mn-1-(y)_(z) (y = 0.86, z - 0.02) alloys. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy has been used for investigation of paramagnetic centers of these compositions, g values of these alloys have been calculated from EPR spectra recorded at room temperature. Structural analysis of CuxNi1-(x) and CuyNizMn1-(y)-(z) alloys has been carried out by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. Line positions and line intensities have been discussed by the help of XRD spectra. EPR and XRD results have been evaluated to understand the property of being alloy. To understand the surface morphology, scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy experiments have been carried out at room temperature. The results have been given, surface properties and elemental compositions of the alloys have been discussed.

OTOMOBIL BAKIM SERVISLERINDE TOZ RISKLERININ IŞ SAĞLIĞI VE GÜVENLIĞI AÇISINDAN INCELENMESIÇalışanlar iş ortamında fiziksel, kimyasal, biyolojik, ergonomik ve psikolojik risk etmenleri ile karşı karşıya kalmaktadırlar. Tez çalışmasının ilk aşamasında gerçekleştirilen literatür çalışması esas alınarak yapılan saha çalışmasında seçilen dört Oto Bakım Servisi'nde belirlenen iki süreçte toplam sekiz noktada `MDHS 14/3: 'Ortam Ölçümü ve Kişisel Maruziyet Solunabilir/Toplam Toz Ölçümü` metodu kullanılarak toz numunesi alınarak gravimetrik analizi yapılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda oto bakım servislerinin tamamında toz maruziyeti belirlenmiştir. Tüm servislerde ölçülen toz maruziyet değerlerinin yasal mevzuatımızda geçen sınır değerin altında kaldığı görülmüştür. Oto Bakım Servisi'nde çalışanların solunum yoluyla toz maruziyetini değerlendirerek alınabilecek önlemleri belirlemek amacıyla COSHH metodu kullanılarak yapılan risk değerlendirmesinde; en yüksek risk derecesinin zımparalama işleminde oluştuğu, riskin 2'nci risk derecesinde olduğu, G200 kontrol tedbirleri ile riskin kabul edilebilir düzeye indirilebileceği belirlenmiştir. Oto Bakım Servisi'nde fiziksel, ergonomik ve psikolojik risk etmenlerinden kaynaklanan riskleri tespit etmek amacıyla Fine Kinney metodu kullanılarak yapılan risk değerlendirmesinde 42'si çok yüksek, 34' ü yüksek, 39' u önemli ve 7'si olası risk olmak üzere toplam 122 risk tespit edilmiştir. A gravimetric analysis was carried out by collecting dust samples by using `MDHS 14/3: General methods for sampling and gravimetric analysis of respirable and inhalable dust` method, in the two processes, in eight points selected in four selected auto care services in the field study conducted on the basis of the literature study carried out in the first stage of the thesis study. In the analyzes result, all of the auto-care services were exposed to dust. The measured dust exposure values in all services were found to be below the limit value in our legal regulations. In the the risk assessment using the COSHH method was used to determine precautions that could be taken by evaluating respiratory dust exposure in employees of the auto care service; It has been determined that the highest risk level is in the sanding process and this risk, in the 2nd risk level which can be reduced to an acceptable level with the G200 control measures. To determine the risks arising from physical, ergonomic and psychological risk factors in the auto care service, a total of 122 risks were identified in the risk assessment using the Fine Kinney method, with 42 very high, 34 high, 39 substantial and 7 possible risk. It is evaluated that the risks can be prevented by applying the dust measurements and the corrective preventive activities to be determined by risk assessment at the Auto Maintenance Service.Key words: Auto Care Service, Dust, MDHS 14/3, COSHH, Fine Kinney, 303

The effect of external magnetic field on the valence-electron structures of Fe and Ni in various Fe-Ni alloy compositions was investigated by using X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy. Firstly, K beta-to-K alpha X-ray intensity ratios of Fe and Ni in Invar (Fe0.64Ni0.36), Permalloy (Fe0.20Ni0.80) and FexNi1-x (x=0, 0.40, 0.52, 0.55, 0.61, and 1) alloys were measured without any magnetic field and under 0.5 and 1 T external magnetic fields, separately. Later, the valence-electron structures of Fe and Ni in both pure form and alloys were obtained by comparison of measured X-ray intensity ratios with the results of multi-configurations Dirac-Fock (MCDF) calculations. The results obtained for valence-electron structures of Fe and Ni in various Fe-Ni alloys were evaluated in terms of magnetic field effect, delocalization and/or charge transfer phenomena. The results have shown that valence electron structure of Fe and Ni in Fe-Ni alloys are dependent on both external magnetic field and concentration of alloy elements. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. International Conference on Advances in Natural and Applied Sciences (ICANAS) -- APR 21-23, 2016 -- Antalya, TURKEY, Effective atomic (Z,tr) and electron numbers (N-eff) for 24 Martian meteorites have been determined m the energy range from 1 keV to 100 GeV and also for sixteen significant energies of commonly used radioactive sources. The values of Zen" and N-eff for all sample were obtained from the DirectZeff program. The obtained results for Martian meteorites have been compared with the results for Earth composition and similarities or differences also evaluated.

A new, reliable and practical semi-empirical equation based on the total interaction cross sections (at) is presented to determine the values of the effective atomic numbers (Z(eff)) of 3d transition metal alloys. With this goal, the total interaction cross sections measured at 22.1, 25.0, 59.5 and 88.0 key incident photon energies for Ti, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni and Cu metals have been used. The effective electron numbers (N(eff)) is also obtained by using the semi-empirical equations. Both the effective atomic numbers and the effective electron numbers produced by means of semi-empirical approach have been compared with the experimental and calculated values based on WINXCOM data. The L X-ray fluorescence cross sections (sigma-(L1), sigma(L alpha), sigma(L eta), sigma(L beta), sigma(L beta 6), sigma(L beta 2,4,15), sigma(L beta 1,3), sigma(L gamma), sigma(L gamma 1), sigma(L gamma 2,3,6,8), sigma(L gamma 4,4),' and sigma(L gamma 5)) and I(L alpha)/I(Li) (i = l, eta, beta(6), beta(2,4,1.5), beta(1,3), gamma, gamma(1), gamma(2,3,6,8), gamma(4,4), and gamma(5) intensity ratios for some elements in the atomic range 66, TUBITAK, M.R. The angular distribution of fluorescent L X-rays and Compton-scattering photons was investigated by measuring differential cross sections for high–atomic-number elements. The measurements were taken simultaneously for L X-ray and Compton-scattering photons using Am-241 radioisotope as photon sources and a Si(Li) detector in various emission angles. The measurements confirm well-known angular dependency of the Compton-scattering differential cross section. L X-ray angular distribution measurements were carried out for the Ll, Lα, Lβ, and Lγ lines. It was observed from measured differential cross sections that Ll and Lα X-ray differential cross sections for the L3 substate depended on the emission angle, meaning that Ll and Lα X-rays had an anisotropic spatial distribution. On the other hand, the Lβ and Lγ X-rays do not show any significant anisotropy.

K beta-to-K alpha X-ray intensity ratios of Ti and Ni have been measured in pure metals and in alloys of Tix-Ni1-x (x=0.7, 0.6, 0.5, 0.4 and 0.3) following excitation by 22.69 key X-rays from a 10 mCi Cd-109 radioactive point source. The valence-electron configurations of these metals were determined by corporation of measured K beta-to-K alpha X-ray intensity ratios with the results of multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock calculation for various valence-electron configurations. Valence-electron configurations of 3d-transition metals in alloys indicate significant differences with respect to the pure metals. Our analysis indicates that these differences arise from delocalization and/or charge transfer phenomena in alloys. Namely, the observed change of the valence-electron configurations of metals in alloys can be explained with the transfer of 3d electrons from one element to the other element and/or the rearrangement of electrons between 3d and 4s, 4p states of individual metal atoms. L alpha, L beta and total L X-ray fluorescence (XRF) cross-sections have been measured for the nine elements (Zr, Nb, Mo, Ag, Cd, In, Sn, Sb and I) using photon energy 5.96 keV. In these the elements, L alpha and L beta spectra were derived from the measured L-shell spectra by fitting process. Experimental results of L alpha, L beta and total L X-ray fluorescence cross-sections have been compared with theoretical results. The total mass attenuation coefficients (mu/rho) for pure Au and Au(99)Be(1), Au(88)Ge(12), Au(95)Zn(5) alloys were measured at 59.5 and 88.0 keV photon energies. The samples were irradiated with (241)Am and (109)Cd radioactive point source using transmission arrangement. The gamma-rays were counted by a Si(Li) detector with resolution of 160 eV at 5.9 keV. Total atomic and electronic cross-sections (sigma(t) and sigma(e)), effective atomic and electron densities (Z(eff) and N(el)) were determined using the obtained mass attenuation coefficients for investigated Au alloys. The theoretical mass attenuation coefficients of each alloy were estimated using mixture rule.

The total mass attenuation coefficients ( μ / ρ ), for pure Ti, Co, Cu and Ti x Co 1 - x and Co x Cu 1 - x (x = 0.8, 0.7, 0.6, 0.5, 0.4, 0.3 and 0.2) alloys were measured at 22.1, 25.0, 59.5 and 88.0 keV photon energies. The samples were irradiated with 109Cd and 241Am radioactive point source using transmission arrangement. The X- and γ-rays were counted by a Si(Li) detector with resolution of 160 eV at 5.9 keV. Total atomic and electronic cross-sections ( σ t and σ e ), effective atomic numbers (Zeff) and electron densities (Nel) were determined using the obtained μ / ρ values for investigated 3d alloys. The theoretical mass attenuation coefficients were estimated using mixture rule and the experimental values of investigated parameters were compared with the calculated values.

Effective atomic numbers (Z(eff)) and effective electron densities (N-el) of 69 samples collected from Comet Wild-2 within scope of Stardust mission were determined in the energy range from 1 keV to 100 GeV. The data were individually evaluated for Wild-2 olivines, pyroxene, Fe-Ni sulfide and silicate glass samples to obtain remarkable information about Comet Wild-2. The photon energy and sample composition dependencies of obtained data were investigated. The results show that Z(eff) and N-el values depend strongly on chemical composition and interaction photon energy. In the present work, the K-shell absorption jump factors and jump ratios for 30 elements between Ti (Z = 22) and Er (Z = 68) were measured by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique. The jump factors and jump ratios for these elements were determined by measuring the K shell fluorescence parameters such as the K alpha X-ray production cross-sections, K shell fluorescence yields, K beta-to-K alpha X-rays intensity ratios, total atomic absorption cross sections and mass attenuation coefficients. The measurements were performed using an Am-241 radioactive point source and a Si (Li) detector in direct excitation and transmission experimental geometry. The results for jump factors and jump ratios were compared with theoretically calculated and the ones available in the literature., Bingol University Research Fund [BAP-195-162-2013], A part of this work was done with the support of the Bingol University Research Fund under Project No. BAP-195-162-2013.

The jump factors and jump ratios for these elements were determined by measuring K shell fluorescence parameters such as the K alpha X-ray production cross-sections, K shell fluorescence yields, K beta-to-K alpha X-rays intensity ratios, total atomic absorption cross sections and mass attenuation coefficients. The measurements were performed using a Cd-109 radioactive point source and an Si(Li) detector in direct excitation and transmission experimental geometry. Bu çalışmada E-80 uluslararası karayolunun Gürbulak hudut kapısı – Erzurum arasında kalan kısmında trafik kaynaklı olarak toprakta meydana gelebilecek ağır metal kirliliği araştırılmıştır. Bunun için Gürbulak hudut kapısından Erzurum'a kadar olan güzergâh üzerinde seçilen 15 farklı yerden otoyola 0, 10 ve 20 metre uzaklıktaki noktalardan 5 cm derinlikten toprak örnekleri alınmıştır. Toplanan örnekler gerekli işlemlerden geçirildikten sonra ICP – MS (Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry) ile örneklerdeki element (B, Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Mo, Cd, Sb, Ba, Au, Hg ve Pb) konsantrasyonları tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar her bir nokta için trafik yoğunluğu ve çevre koşulları dikkat alınarak birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmış ve ağır metal birikimleri için kabul edilebilir sınır değerleri üzerinde bir kirliliğin oluşup oluşmadığı araştırılmıştır., In this study, it was investigated heavy metal pollutıon that emitted from traffic in the soils of the E-80 International Hıghway line between Gürbulak Boarder Entrance and Erzurum. The soil samples were taken from 15 different locations selected at distances of 0, 10, and 20 meter away from highway and at a depth of 5 centimeter. After the necessary process the concentrations of the elements of (B, Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Mo, Cd, Sb, Ba, Au, Hg, and Pb) in the soil samples collected were determined by using ICP – MS (Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry). Data obtained for each location was compared based on traffic density and environmental conditions and it was investigated whether or not pollution above acceptable limits for the heavy metals.

Pomzanın radyasyon zırhlama özellikleri farklı foton enerjileri için kütle soğurma katsayıları ölçülerek araştırlmıştır. 59,5, 80,9, 295,5 ve 361,3 keV enerjili fotonları elde etmek için 241Am ve 133Ba radyoaktif nokta kaynaklar kullanılmıştır. Her bir numune ve enerji için kaynaktan gelen soğurulmamış Io şiddeti ve numune tarafından soğurulduktan sonraki I şiddeti MCA ile birleşik bir NaI(Tl) dedektör transmission geometrisinde kullanılarak ölçüldü ve kütle soğurma katsayıları bu şiddetler kullanılarak belirlendi. Radiation shielding properties of pumice have been investigated by measuring mass attenuation coefficients for different photon energies. The 241Am and 133Ba radioactive point source are used to get photons with energy 59,5, 80,9, 295,5 and 361,3 keV. For each sample and energy, Io and I intensities which are without and after attenuation were measured by a NaI(TI) detector coupled to MCA using narrow beam transmission arrangement and mass attenuation coefficients were determined using these intensities. To determine its ability for attenuation of photons (such as X-rays or ? -rays), the results obtained for pumice have been compared with the results for lead, cement and lead and cement aggregate containing different concentrations (0%, 25%, 50% and 75%) pumice. Also, the experimental values of the mass attenuation coefficients have been compared with theoretical values obtained from Monte Carlo simulation and WinXcom software. In most cases, there is an agreement between the experimental and theoretical values within the standard uncertainties.

Farklı şifalı bitkilerin X-ışını floresans (XRF) analizleri bitkilerin elementel kompozisyonları ve konsantrasyonlarının belirlenmesinde metodun güvenilir olduğunu göstermiştir., The details of elemental composition and concentrations of some plants used herbal tea or drug have been determined using wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) and portable energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (P-EDXRF) spectrometers. All the samples was obtained from herbalist and usually composed of the leaves. The X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyses of different herbal plants show that the method is reliable and useful for determination of elemental composition and concentration in plant.
