Aims: Renal insufficiency is a common comorbidity in patients with haematological malignancies. This study aimed to assess how end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) might affect the pharmacokinetics of venetoclax, a Bcl‐2 inhibitor, in participants with ESRD undergoing haemodialysis. Methods: Venetoclax was administered as a single 100‐mg dose to 6 female participants with ESRD (estimated glomerular filtration rate <15 mL/min) both prior to haemodialysis and between haemodialysis days and 7 healthy female participants with normal renal function (estimated glomerular filtration rate >90 mL/min). Intensive pharmacokinetic and protein binding samples were collected from all participants. Arterial and venous samples were collected from ESRD participants during haemodialysis to assess the effect of haemodialysis on venetoclax pharmacokinetics. Pharmacokinetic parameters were estimated using noncompartmental methods. Results: There was no difference in plasma venetoclax concentrations between arterial and venous samples, suggesting that haemodialysis did not affect the pharmacokinetics of venetoclax. The fraction unbound (fu) of venetoclax was ~2‐fold higher for participants with ESRD compared to participants with normal renal function. The unbound maximum plasma concentration and area under the plasma concentration–time curve from time 0 to 48 h were comparable between ESRD and normal function groups. The mean half‐life ranged from 10.4 to 12.2 h across groups, demonstrating that ESRD did not affect the half‐life of venetoclax. No new safety signals were observed during this study. Conclusion: ESRD and dialysis do not alter unbound venetoclax plasma concentrations. No pharmacokinetics driven dose adjustment is needed for patients with renal insufficiency. As the "Internet of Medical Things (IoMT)" grows, healthcare systems can collect and process data. It is also challenging to study public health prevention requirements. Virus transmission can be prevented by wearing a mask. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends wearing a facemask to protect against the COVID‐19 pandemic—the levels of a pandemic rise across almost all regions of the world. By following the WHO rules, we support the development of face mask‐detecting technologies and determine whether or not people are using masks in public locations. The proposed paradigm in this paper will work in three stages. Firstly, we use an Image data generator to import the images. In addition to using a Haar cascade (HC) classifier for detecting faces, residual learning (ResNet152V2) trains a model that detects whether someone is wearing a face mask. Detection and classification are carried out in real‐time with high precision. Compared with other recently proposed methods, the model achieved 99.65% accuracy during training and 99.63% during validation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The extant literature on mobile financial services indicates that the work on merchants' adoption of mobile wallets is sporadic and under-researched. Taking into account the critical role of merchants in the mobile payment ecosystem, this study intends to study the factors that impact merchants' intention to adopt mobile wallets. A comprehensive model combining the UTAUT model, TTF model, perceived trust, and price value was empirically tested using the PLS-SEM approach. The data was collected from 236 merchants in New Delhi, India. Among all the variables that are significant in impacting behavioral intention to use mobile wallets, the task-technology fit is the most important factor, followed by price value, perceived trust, performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions. Also, significant positive relationships were found between technology characteristics and task-technology fit, and task characteristics and task-technology fit. Ribosome‐inactivating proteins (RIPs) are toxic proteins with N‐glycosidase activity. RIPs exert their action by removing a specific purine from 28S rRNA, thereby, irreversibly inhibiting the process of protein synthesis. RIPs can target both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. In bacteria, the production of RIPs aid in the process of pathogenesis whereas, in plants, the production of these toxins has been attributed to bolster defense against insects, viral, bacterial and fungal pathogens. In recent years, RIPs have been engineered to target a particular cell type, this has fueled various experiments testing the potential role of RIPs in many biomedical applications like anti‐viral and anti‐tumor therapies in animals as well as anti‐pest agents in engineered plants. In this review, we present a comprehensive study of various RIPs, their mode of action, their significance in various fields involving plants and animals. With the increasing use of the Internet, education availability to large masses through online mode has become easy. The platforms for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) like Udemy, Udacity, Edx, Coursera etc. and mobile learning technologies like mobile live video streaming system have evolved all over the world. Through these platforms it has become quite easier for the academicians to provide education. In several remote areas, the learners are not able to attend classroom teaching. But, with the help of emerging technologies like Electronic Learning (MOOCs) and Mobile Learning, many people can now learn things at any time from anywhere at free or very less cost. It also allows academicians to make their content and teaching skills reach everywhere. These technologies help both academicians as well as students. Various multimedia tools are also used for making out the content look attractive and interactive. Students join these courses to compete among themselves, gain knowledge and earn certificates. Almost every type of course is offered ranging from basic to specialization courses. These technologies are a boon to our learning culture. This paper makes an analysis of advantages and limitations of MOOCs based and mobile learning modes. This paper also maps the findings with a survey on 770 students of Delhi NCR region (India). As in this era of technology we all see the future of education in MOOCs and Mobile based learning, hence the major findings of this work is to identify the gap in these modes based learning methodology.
