Background: To understand the status of cancer patients’ awareness and demand for remote palliative care service and to provide a reference for promoting the formulation of remote palliative care policy.Methods: A small across-section design involved a sample of 148 cancer adults in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, who were conducted by self-designed questionnaire via the Questionnaire Star. The questionnaire contained basic information (14 items) and the attitude towards the remote palliative care (6 items).Results: The rate of patients who supported to take remote palliative care was 41.2%. It related with age, education level, occupation, family income, insurance type, self-care ability, smartphone and communication app using, and the using time(p＜0.05). Most of them hoped to get remote palliative care 24 hours. Almost half of the patients would like to be charged by items and they hoped the price of remote palliative care be cheap. Most of the patients didn’t really care about the working years and title of the care provider, but half of them more believed Grade 3, Class A hospital. The top three demand of remote palliative care were pain reducing, nutrition counseling, and nursing instruction.Conclusion: Remote palliative care has a good application prospect for cancer patients, but there are still some challenges, which need further exploration and development, including appropriate infrastructure, reasonable price and sufficient personnel to provide remote palliative care services.

The risk of radiation-induced heart damage (RIHD) is a growing concern since recent advances in radiation therapy (RT) for cancer treatments have significantly improved the number of survivors. Radiation-induced myocardial fibrosis (RIMF) is the final pathological condition of RIHD and main change leading to serious cardiovascular complications following RT. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of ultrafiltration extract of Radix Angelica Sinensis and Radix Hedysari (RAS-RH) on the proliferation, apoptosis, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) of cardiac fibroblasts after X-irradiation in vitro. The RAS-RH extract was from the Danggui Buxue decoction (DBD) in TCM. Primary cardiac fibroblasts were irradiated with 1 Gy X-ray to evaluate the effect of RAS-RH on the expression levels of cell proliferation, apoptosis, ROS, and fibrotic molecules. Our data demonstrated that X-irradiation at 1 Gy resulted in the proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts; RAS-RH attenuated the myocardial fibrosis. Furthermore, X-ray radiation reduced the apoptosis of cardiac fibroblasts; RAS-RH accelerated the apoptosis of these cells after irradiation. In addition, the damage driven by ROS in primary cardiac fibroblasts after irradiation was weakened by RAS-RH and the expression of TGF-β1, Col1, and α-SMA increased after irradiation; RAS-RH decreased the expression of these makers. Overall, these data indicate that low-dose X-ray irradiation boosts myocardial fibrosis, and the effect of RAS-RH protects against fibrosis via attenuating the proliferation and accelerating the apoptosis of myocardial fibroblasts after X-irradiation.

Sardinella zunasi Bleeker, an edible and medicinal marine fish, is largely distributed in tropical oceans. However, the chemical composition and nutritional properties of this species have not yet been investigated. In the present study, proximate composition, fatty acids, amino acids, taurine, and minerals of S. zunasi Bleeker were characterized, and the immunostimulatory properties of its glycoprotein were evaluated. The results indicated the presence of crude protein (19.66%), crude lipid (6.29%) and carbohydrate (0.74%) in S. zunasi Bleeker; monounsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids in the fatty acid composition of S. zunasi Bleeker were 25.00% and 31.01%, respectively; S. zunasi Bleeker was rich in taurine (219 mg/100 g) and essential amino acids (5.57 g/100 g). In addition, the glycoprotein of S. zunasi consisted of protein and sugars, with a total content of 34.25% and 16.27%, respectively. The glycoprotein showed significant effects on promoting NO, TNF-α and IL-6 in a dose-dependent manner in RAW264.7 macrophage cells. Thus, these findings provide a scientific basis for the further utilization of glycoprotein from S. zunasi Bleeker.

A dual-channel interferometer (DCI) is proposed for vibration-resistant optical measurement. The DCI employs a dual-channel interference optical path design, wherein an assistant channel is used to generate dense fringe patterns by introducing a spatial carrier frequency, and the coefficients of the vibration tilt phase plane are then extracted. The sparse fringe patterns of the main channel are combined with the coefficients of the tilt phase plane to calculate the measured phase distribution. This study reports the optical path and principles of the interference system. Simulations are performed using the proposed DCI phase extraction algorithm. To verify the DCI performance, phase measurements are carried out in a vibrating environment, and the results obtained using the proposed method are compared with those obtained using spatial phase-shifting interferometry (SPSI). The experimental results demonstrate that the DCI can effectively overcome the effect of vibration. Unlike spatial carrier frequency interferometry, although the spatial carrier frequency is also introduced in the assistant channel in the proposed DCI method, the dual-channel information extraction algorithm helps eliminate the calibration process of the retrace error before measurement, making this a calibration-free measurement. Moreover, the DCI utilizes environmental vibration to generate a ‘phase shift’, thus not only eliminating the need for a vibration isolation platform but also the need for a precise phase shifting device, with advantages such as structural simplicity, ease of operation, and low cost.

In multi-sentence level natural language generation (NLG) system, the first task is to classify the constraint-value pairs into several groups. Following that, each group will be translate to a talk session. In this paper, we propose three classification algorithms. The first method looks for talk session group directly, the second one applies sentence frame search, and the third one utilizes dynamic programming. After classification, we propose sentence level and phrase level generation method. Although these algorithms are not sophisticate, they work well due to easy training, fast response and high quality. Dialogue system for operating in-car devices and services require fast system response time, and some PND applications are rare in memory/computational resources, so this method would be a good choice for these environments.

A series of the micrometeorological observations have been carried out on the slopes have of the hilly region of the southeastern part of the Loess Plateau over a two year period from ray 1989. Heat balance on the surface of the slopes which face north and south are roughly estimated from the data of solar radiation, air and soil temperatures and air humidity etc.The results of these observations show that the direction and gradient of the slopes remarkably affect thermal environments, temperature and soil freeze of the ground in winter. The numerical models of heat flow through the ground, vegetation and boundary layers were applied to estimate the thermal conditions on the slopes. The results calculated from the numerical models are substantially in accord with the observed ones.
