Hierarchical multi-label text classification (HMTC) is a highly relevant and widely discussed topic in the era of big data, particularly for efficiently classifying extensive amounts of text data. This study proposes the HTMC-PGT framework for poverty governance’s single-path hierarchical multi-label classification problem. The framework simplifies the HMTC problem into training and combination problems of multi-class classifiers in the classifier tree. Each independent classifier in this framework uses an XLNet pretrained model to extract char-level semantic embeddings of text and employs a hierarchical attention mechanism integrated with Bi-LSTM (BiLSTM + HA) to extract semantic embeddings at the document level for classification purposes. Simultaneously, this study proposes that the structure uses transfer learning (TL) between classifiers in the classifier tree. The experimental results show that the proposed XLNet + BiLSTM + HA + FC + TL model achieves micro-P, micro-R, and micro-F1 values of 96.1%, which is 7.5~38.1% higher than those of other baseline models. The HTMC-PGT framework based on XLNet, BiLSTM + HA, and transfer learning (TL) between classifier tree nodes proposed in this study solves the hierarchical multi-label classification problem of poverty governance text (PGT). It provides a new idea for solving the traditional HMTC problem.

Gastrointestinal (GI) tumors, including liver, pancreatic, gastric, and colorectal cancers, have a high incidence rate and low survival rate due to the lack of effective therapeutic methods and frequent relapses. Surgery and postoperative chemoradiotherapy have largely reduced the fatality rates for most GI tumors, but these therapeutic approaches result in poor prognoses due to severe adverse reactions and the development of drug resistance. Recent studies have shown that ferroptosis plays an important role in the onset and progression of GI tumors. Ferroptosis is a new non-apoptotic form of cell death, which is iron-dependent, non-apoptotic cell death characterized by the accumulation of lipid reactive oxygen species (ROS). The activation of ferroptosis can lead to tumor cell death. Thus, regulating ferroptosis in tumor cells may become a new therapeutic approach for tumors, making it become a research hotspot. Current studies suggest that ferroptosis is mainly triggered by the accumulation of lipid ROS. Furthermore, several studies have indicated that ferroptosis may be a new approach for the treatment of GI tumors. Here, we review current research progress on the mechanism of ferroptosis, current inducers and inhibitors of ferroptosis, and the role of ferroptosis in GI tumors to propose new methods for the treatment of such tumors.

Pipeline leakage and pipeline internal corrosion are two serious threats to pipeline safety operation. In this study, based on the measurement theory of pipeline internal diameter variation and a numerical simulation analysis of existing sensor shortcomings, a novel FBG pipe-fixture sensor is designed and developed to detect pipeline leakage and monitor pipeline internal corrosion simultaneously. A calibration test is conducted, and the test results indicate that the FBG pipe-fixture sensor solves the problem of a large difference between the test values and the theoretical values and eliminates the limitation of measurement range. To validate the actual performance of the sensor, a pipeline leak detection test and a pipeline internal corrosion monitoring test are, respectively, conducted on a steel pipe leak test platform and a steel pipe with different simulated corrosion levels. The test results demonstrate that the FBG pipe-fixture sensor can effectively detect pipe leakage and decrease the localization error of the leakage point to within 1 m. The sensor can also effectively monitor pipe internal corrosion and evaluate the internal corrosion degree with a measurement accuracy of 0.1 mm. The novel FBG pipe-fixture sensor may be a potential sensor for pipeline leak detection and pipeline internal corrosion monitoring.

The harmonic reducer of the space drive mechanism is one of the critical components of the satellite remote sensing system and its reliability is always required strictly in practice. During the manufacturing and usage processes of the harmonic reducer, uncertainties are ubiquitous and performance degradation is inevitable, which is mainly caused by the wear between the meshed tooth surfaces. They influence the reliability of harmonic reducer. In this paper, a performance margin modeling and reliability analysis for harmonic reducer considering multi-source uncertainties and wear is proposed. Firstly, based on the functional principle and the influence of wear, the performance margin model is established using hysteresis and transmission errors as key performance parameters. Then multi-source uncertainties are analyzed and quantified, including manufacturing errors, uncertainties in operational and environmental conditions, and uncertainties in performance thresholds. Finally, the reliability model is constructed based on the performance margin. A case study of a harmonic reducer is applied and the reliability sensitivity analysis is implemented to show the practicability of the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method can provide some suggestions to the design and manufacturing phases of the harmonic reducer.

Background: Aromatase inhibitor-induced arthralgia (AIA) is the most common side effect of aromatase inhibitors (AIs) used in breast cancer patients and is related to the rate of adherence to AIs. The clinical effects of acupuncture on AIA have been assessed by some randomized controlled trials (RCTs). However, some studies reported that acupuncture was effective, while others claimed that it was ineffective. To clarify the clinical and placebo effects of acupuncture in treating AIA, we conducted this meta-analysis. Methods: Two reviewers (XL and GW) independently searched for RCTs in 5 English databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Springer, Cochrane Library) and 4 Chinese databases (China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database (CNKI), SinoMed, VIP and Wanfang Database) from their inception to 30 November 2019. Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, this meta-analysis was performed by fixed or random-effects models, and data were pooled with mean differences (MDs). Results: Seven trials involving 603 patients were reviewed. The primary outcome, the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI) score, significantly differed between the acupuncture and control groups [pain-related interference: MD = −1.89, 95% confidence interval (CI) [−2.99, −0.79], Z = 3.36 ( P = .008 Conclusion: This meta-analysis showed that acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment for breast cancer patients with AIA. Additional research with improved blinding methods is warranted to further explore the nature of non-specific and placebo effects in true and sham acupuncture.

Miniaturized ion thrusters are one of the most important candidates in the task of drag-free control for space-based gravitational wave detection, the thrust of which can be accurately tuned in principle by in-orbit monitoring and feedback control. This work investigates a neural network model (NNM) that can be used for real-time monitoring of the function that relates the grid voltage and the extraction current of a miniaturized ion thruster using optical emission spectroscopy. This model is developed as a component of an ion thruster’s digital twin. A collisional-radiative model relates the plasma parameters in the discharge chamber of the thruster to the emission spectroscopy; an extraction current model relates the plasma parameters to the function that relates the grid voltage and extraction current. The NNM is trained based on the dataset produced by these models, and is examined by experimental results from a miniaturized ion thruster. It is found that the difference between the thrust predicted by the NNM and the experimental value is less than 6%. Discussions are given on further improvement of the NNM for accurate thrust control in space-based gravitational wave detection in the future.

Currently, many strains of influenza A virus have developed resistance against anti-influenza drugs, and it is essential to find new chemicals to combat this virus. The influenza polymerase with three proteins, PA, PB1 and PB2, is a crucial component of the viral ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex. Here, we report the identification of a hit compound 221 by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) direct binding screening on the C-terminal of PA (PAC). Compound 221 can subdue influenza RNP activities and attenuate influenza virus replication. Its analogs were subsequently investigated and twelve of them could attenuate RNP activities. One of the analogs, compound 312, impeded influenza A virus replication in Madin-Darby canine kidney cells with IC50 of 27.0 ± 16.8 μM. In vitro interaction assays showed that compound 312 bound directly to PAC with Kd of about 40 μM. Overall, the identification of novel PAC-targeting compounds provides new ground for drug design against influenza virus in the future.

This paper presents a novel pipeline deformation monitoring method using the inverse finite element method (iFEM) based on the iBeam3 element. This element uses only two end nodes to reconstruct pipeline deformation without any material and/or loading information because only the strain–displacement relationship is employed in the algorithm. A series of experimental studies is conducted to validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the presented method. The maximum error of the pipe node displacement in the numerical simulation is 4.1%, and the average error in the experimental test combined with the data from fiber Bragg grating (FBG) strain sensors is 7.96%. An application of pipe deformation monitoring during the freeze–thaw process of soil is conducted, and the test results demonstrate that the presented method can effectively monitor the deformation process for a buried pipe during the freeze–thaw process of soil with a measurement error of 15.43%, showing potential in practical engineering.

Objective: To study the effect of mid-frequency pulse therapy combined with external fixation on bone metabolism, inflammatory response and oxidative stress in patients with osteoporotic distal radial fractures. Methods: A total of 72 patients with osteoporotic distal radial fractures who were treated in the hospital between September 2015 and January 2017 were collected and divided into control group (n=36) and observation group (n=36) according to the random number table method. Control group received routine external fixation, and observation group received mid-frequency pulse therapy combined with external fixation. The differences in serum levels of bone metabolism indexes, inflammatory factors and oxidative stress indexes were compared between two groups of patients before and after treatment. Results: Before treatment, differences in serum levels of bone metabolism indexes, inflammatory factors and oxidative stress indexes were not statistically significant between the two groups. After 1 month of treatment, serum BGP, TAC and SOD levels of both groups of patients were higher than those before treatment while β-CTX, AKP, TRAP, CRP, IL-1β, IL-6 and MDA levels were lower than those before treatment, and serum BGP, TAC and SOD levels of observation group were higher than those of control group while β-CTX, AKP, TRAP, CRP, IL-1β, IL-6 and MDA levels were lower than those of control group. Conclusion: Mid-frequency pulse therapy combined with external fixation can promote fracture healing and reduce postoperative inflammatory response and oxidative stress response in patients with osteoporotic distal radial fracture.

For the characteristics of the continuous stirred-tank reactor (CSTR) with coil and jacket cooling system, a CSTR temperature dual control solution based on the analysis of the CSTR exothermic reaction control characteristic was proposed for an organic material polymerization production. The control solution has passive fault-tolerant ability for the jacket cooling water cutting off fault and active fault-tolerant potential for the coil cooling water cutting off fault, and it has good control ability, high saving energy and reducing consumption performance. Fault detection and diagnosis and fault-tolerant control strategy are designed for the coil cooling fault to achieve the active fault-tolerant control function. The CSTR temperature dual control, process fault detection and diagnosis and active fault-tolerant control were full integrated into the CSTR temperature fault-tolerant control system, which achieve fault tolerance control of CSTR temperature for any severe malfunction of jacket cooling or coil cooling cutting off, and the security for CSTR exothermic reaction is improved. Finally, the effectiveness of this system was validated by semi-physical simulation experiment.

This paper proposes a modified strain wedge (MSW) model for nonlinear analysis of laterally loaded single piles in clays. The MSW model is used to calculate the soil resistance under increasing pile deflection. The stress–strain behavior of clays in the MSW, which is needed to calculate the soil resistance, is described in terms of both hyperbolic and bilinear stress–strain relationships. The subgrade reaction modulus of soil below the MSW is assumed to equal the conventional subgrade reaction modulus and to remain constant under the lateral loading of the pile. The applicability of the proposed model was verified by eight case histories. The results indicate that (1) the predicted results are consistent with the measurements for all eight full-scale tested piles; (2) the bilinear stress–strain relationship is not recommended for clays because the clays usually have a large e 50 and, thus, they exhibit a linear behavior in the MSW during loading; (3) the predicted pile response is less sensitive to the effective friction angle than to the undrained shear strength; and (4) the proposed MSW model applies to normally consolidated clays and to overconsolidated clays until they reach their peak strength.

This paper deals with the problem of generating spectrum-compatible artificial accelerograms for seismic dynamic analysis of engineering projects. A wavelet-packet-based, two-step procedure for the issue is proposed. The first step is to generate acceleration time history that could account for temporal and frequency non-stationarities of recorded ground motions. The second step is to decompose it into a desired number of wavelet packet vectors with high frequency resolution and non-overlapping frequency contents. Then each wavelet packet vector is scaled suitably and iteratively for the response spectrum of the simulated accelerogram to fit a specified design spectrum. The advantages of this procedure are that it can simulate user-specified acceleration time history with only 6 input parameters and the adjusted accelerogram has similar characteristics to the recorded one. The proposed procedure has been illustrated by simulating and modifying acceleration time history that are compatible with two different design spectrums for nuclear power plants. In addition, iterative efficiency of the method is investigated by simulating and adjusting acceleration time history for 100 successive times. The maximum relative error of the 76 period control points can reach 6% or below. Results show that the proposed method is effective and practical to generate and find spectrum-compatible ground motions with both stochastic and deterministic aspects.

This paper presents a novel gas pipeline burst detection and localization method eliminating the negative pressure wave (NPW) velocity and improving the leak localization accuracy. For burst detection, a novel fiber Bragg grating (FBG) caliber-based sensor is developed that can accurately measure NPW signals. Based on the sensor array, a leak localization formula is proposed that is only dependent on the sensor spacing and NPW arrival time. A novel linear fitting-based NPW knee point identification algorithm is proposed to measure the NPW arrival time more accurately and quickly to obtain the highest localization accuracy. To validate the effectiveness of the presented method, simulation tests of a high-pressure gas pipe leak are carried out on a pipe leak test platform. The test results show that the average localization error is 1.1 m and the standard deviation of the errors is 0.43. Furthermore, the localization accuracy is stable for different sensor spacings.

As the earliest practical controller, PID controller has more than 50 years of history, and it is still the most widely used and most common industrial controllers. PID controller is simple to understand and use, without a prerequisite for an accurate model of the physical system, thus become the most popular, the most common controller. The reason why PID controller is the first developed one is that its simple algorithm, robustness and high reliability. It is widely used in process control and motion control, especially for accurate mathematical model that can be established deterministic control system. But the conventional PID controller tuning parameters are often poor performance, poor adaptability to the operating environment. The neural network has a strong nonlinear mapping ability, competence, self-learning ability of associative memory, and has a viable quantities of information processing methods and good fault tolerance.

With the establishment of more and more management information systems in the enterprises, many heterogeneous databases have been produced, resulting in the phenomenon of the information island. This paper puts forward a method based on ontology to integrate the heterogeneous databases and presents the framework of the integration method. In this framework A method based on relational database is presented to build the mixed ontology structure Common VocabularyLocal Ontology. The mixed ontology structure is used to establish the semantic web for enterprises. This novel approach exploits the multithreading combined with semantic web to implement parallel retrieval on an integrated platform. The application that this prototype system of the integration method has been implemented in a research institute verifies the method could effectively analyze the user's intention, thereby improving the reuse of knowledge.

Based on Life Cycle Assessment Theory (LCA Theory), the problems of Zhejiang new rural residential buildings at different stages of life cycle were analyzed. LCCM method of engineering project were adopted to highlight the influence of economic factors on energy-saving process and analyze the energy consumption of Zhejiang new rural residential buildings,so as to put forward reasonable energy-saving measures.

This research used CFD softwares to simulate the downforce generated with the airfoil set to different height, and also analyzed the difference on the downforce when the airfoil is set on the racing car. Several pairs of front wing (FW) and rear wing (RW) of different ground clearances were chosen during the wind tunnel experiment and the results were compared with those of the numerical simulations. With the results of the simulations as well as the experiment, an appropriate solution of the ground clearances of the FW and RW for different kinds of race is provided.

Traditional scientific research project cost estimating method cannot meet accuracy and practicability at the same time. Aiming at this problem, scientific research project cost estimating method based on neural network was built. Firstly, the construction and influencing factors of scientific research project cost were analyzed. Secondly, an estimating model based on improved BP neural network was built; a nonlinear expression between influencing factors (input) and cost (output) was created. Finally, an estimating system with the model was implemented by Java. The effectiveness of the method was tested. Testing experiment showed the estimating model based on improved BP neural network is reliable and the precision is high.

This paper proposes a modified strain wedge model for the nonlinear analysis of laterally loaded single piles in sandy soils by using the Duncan–Chang model as well as the Mohr–Coulomb model to describe the stress–strain behavior of soils in the strain wedge. The input soil property for sandy soils only needs a relative density which can be easily estimated from in situ tests. The strain wedge depth is calculated by an iterative process and the subgrade reaction modulus below the strain wedge is assumed to increase linearly with depth, though it does not change with the lateral load applied to the pile. Seven case histories are used to verify the applicability of the proposed method. The results show the following: (1) good agreements are found between the predicted and the measured results of full scale tested piles; (2) the predicted deflections and moments using the Duncan–Chang model are almost the same as those using the Mohr–Coulomb model; and (3) the size effect of the pile diameter or width on the subgrade reaction modulus should be considered.

According to our previous studies, we found that curcumin could enhance the efficacy of irinotecan-induced apoptosis of colorectal tumor cells in vitro. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a combination treatment regimen of irinotecan and curcumin in the colorectal cancer xenograft model. RESULTS: Curcumin or irinotecan alone reduced the tumor volume, and the combination had the strongest anticancer effects. Oxidative stress was induced in tumor (MDA: P < 0.01, GPx: P < 0.05, PRDX4: P < 0.01), while was reduced in intestinal tissue (MDA: P < 0.01, SOD: P < 0.05, GPx: P < 0.01). The apoptosis in tumor was accompanied by up-regulation of apoptotic proteins (caspase-3: P < 0.01, Bax: P < 0.01), but down-regulation of anti-apoptotic proteins (pro-caspase-3: P < 0.01, Bcl-2: P < 0.01). Besides, the combination treatment alleviated diarrhea and intestine injury, and also restored the autophagy (PGC-1α: P < 0.05, Atg-7: P < 0.05, and LC3B: P < 0.05) and mitochondrial dynamics (Mfn-1: P < 0.01, Mfn-2: P < 0.01, Drp-1: P < 0.01, Fis-1: P < 0.05) in intestinal tissue. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Nude mice were implanted with LoVo colorectal cancer cells before randomization into the following treatment groups: control; curcumin only; irinotecan only; curcumin + irinotecan. After a 9-day treatment, we compared the tumor weight, tumor volume, morphological change of intestine, and oxidative stress factors (LDH, MDA, SOD, GPx). In addition, we detected the oxidative stress (PRDX4, MnSOD, and p53), apoptosis (Bax, Bcl-2, pro-caspase-3, cleaved-caspase-3) and autophagy (PGC-1α, Atg-7, and LC3B) signaling. CONCLUSIONS: Curcumin could enhance the efficacy of irinotecan-induced apoptosis of colorectal cancer in vivo, while restore the irinotecan-induced autophagy of small intestinal epithelium.

Knowledge reuse is of great significance for enterprises which rely mainly on new product development or design. For reusing knowledge, knowledge component is a feasible and efficient method. However, the implementation of knowledge component is still a new field to be researched. In this paper, a B/S-based multi-server framework to support knowledge component implementation was proposed. In the framework, a B/S-based knowledge component operating structure was introduced to make it easier for the product designers or developers to use the knowledge component. In order to reduce the computing time and alleviate the workload of the server-side, a multi-server mode was designed to separate the knowledge component operating process into three tiers (data tier, logic tier and computing tier). To improve the utilization of the limited computational resource, a real-time scheduling scheme was proposed to allocate the application software service to dynamic requests. Testing results proves that this framework is feasible and can help the designers reuse the existing knowledge rapidly. This framework will be significantly helpful to those enterprises interested in unlocking the potential of design knowledge reuse.

Intelligent resource includes the knowledge, hardware and software resources even workflow and human resource, etc. From the point of view of enterprise information management, the service composition is an essential element for companies’ informatization construction. Therefore, the paper describes a web service composition framework for semantically-annotated web service. Based on the state of art ontology technology, an OWL-S process model for the CAM software is established to describe resource service. Then a service discovery process which mainly consists of services’ property matching algorithm for words is set up. A backward chaining framework for service composition is employed to dynamically compose resource services finally.

Based on VB platform, a stress redistribution and cutting simulation system of enlarging the hole of coal and rock is developed by using the computer technology, finite element analysis, the second development, combining with structure parameter selection and Object-Oriented Programming method as well as using VB to encapsulate ANSYS and writing APDL command to call the ANSYS calculation program. The soft provides a convenient parameters input and graphical interface, and has completed the preprocessor simulation solving of the model and analysis of the results. Even not capable of mastering the finite element theory and FEA soft, users can use the system to perform the stress analysis and simulation when enlarging the hole of coal and rock easily.

This paper focuses on the wind-induced vibration control of the Dalian international trade mansion (DITM) by using the tuned liquid dampers (TLDs). To avoid the intensive computationally demanding problem caused by tens of thousand of degrees of freedom (DOF) of the structure in the numerical analysis, the three-dimension finite element model of the DITM is first simplified to the equivalent series multi-DOF system. The wind loading is subsequently simulated by the Davenport model according to the structural environmental condition where the actual samples of wind speed are measured. Following that, the shallow- and deep-water wave theories are applied to model the liquid sloshing inside TLDs, the tank sizing, and required water depth, and numbers of TLDs are given according to the numerical results of different cases. Comparisons between uncontrolled and controlled displacement and acceleration responses of the DITM under wind forces show that the designed shallow tank has higher efficiency than the deep one, which can effectively reduce the structural response amplitudes and enhance the comfortableness of the mansion. The preliminary TLD design procedure presented in this paper could be applied as a reference to the analysis and design of the wind-induced vibration for high-rise buildings using the TLD.

Effects of mold electromagnetic stirring (M-EMS) on the solidification structure of 45# steel billet were investigated by examination of interdendritic corrosion. The results show that the primary and secondary dendrite arm spacings increase from the edge of the billet to the center and decrease obviously with increasing electromagnetic torque, which will be beneficial to refine the solidification structure and enlarge the equiaxed crystal zone. The ratio of equiaxed crystal increases by 15.9% with the electromagnetic torque increasing from 230 to 400 cN·cm. The increase of stirring intensity can improve the cooling rate and the impact of M-EMS on it reduces from the edge of the billet to the central area, where the cooling rates are similar at different torques. The closer to the central area, the less the influence of M-EMS on the cooling rate is. The ratio of the primary to secondary dendrite arm spacing is approximately 2.0, namely, λ1≈2λ2, and is constant irrespective of the stirring intensity and position of the billet. Original position analysis (OPA) results indicate that the center segregation of the billet is greatly improved, and the more uniform and compact solidification structure will be obtained with the increase of stirring intensity.

The frame theory has been one of powerful tools for researching into wavelets. In this article, the notion of orthogonal nonseparable quarternary wavelet wraps, which is the generalizati- -on of orthogonal univariate wavelet wraps, is presented. A novel approach for constructing them is presented by iteration method and functional analysis method. A liable approach for constructing two-directional orthogonal wavelet wraps is developed. The orthogonality property of quarternary wavelet wraps is discussed. Three orthogonality formulas concerning these wavelet wraps are estabished. A constructive method for affine frames of L2(R4) is proposed. The sufficient condition for the existence of a class of affine pseudoframes with filter banks is obtained by virtue of a generalized multiresolution analysis. The pyramid decomposition scheme is established based on such a generalized multiresolution structure.

The tolerance analysis methods are usually used to test the result of product design and assembly; moreover the tolerance analysis also is a fundamental technique in precision design process. So far, there are two kinds of tolerance analysis methods: statistical tolerance analysis and worst-case analysis; they have their own characteristics and drawbacks. In this paper, it presents a nonlinear tolerance analysis method which uses Matlab tool to construct the nonlinear tolerance analysis mathematical formulation and calculate the result of nonlinear tolerance analysis based on the principle of worst-case tolerance analysis. All the processes are dealt with and tested by computer. The engineers only enter some basic parameters through the standardized interface, and then the result can be obtained without artificial intervention. In addition, the accuracy of calculation result meets the production requirement. The system of the nonlinear tolerance analysis is easier for engineers to use.

A Generalized Hammerstein Model with Impulse Response for symmetric nonlinear systems was presented in this paper. A hyper-quadratic object function was developed by adding highest order control input term with a symbolic function into the object function, and a constrained multi-step model algorithmic control for the non-minimum phase systems with open-loop stable characterization was established by forcing the control input with saturated limitation. The algorithm with one control policy can guarantee the simulative results without steady state deviation and the control input being converged to a varying region centered in the zero-point. Simulated results validated the constrained model algorithmic control for Generalized Hammerstein Model with impulse response is reasonable and applicable.

Mobilization production is an effective model to respond to emergency situation, which can organize all kinds of production resources and enlarge production capacity in short time. The design of mobilization production plan needs numerous data and to be revised repeatedly. Therefore, it is very difficult for the traditional design approach to work out right results and forecast the performance of mobilization production plan. A parametric simulation modeling approach is presented in this paper to solve those problems. The approach separates the control logic from modeling elements through creating simulation database, typical model base and control logic base. A model generator is built to automatically create the finial simulation model based on those kinds of bases. The simulation software of AutoMod is applied to realize the modeling process above. Finally, a case study is presented to illustrate the application of the proposed approach.

This paper firstly discussed the definition of knowledge integration in the field of product development and proposed the multidimensional knowledge integration model which could be the guidance during the implementation of knowledge integration. Subsequently the framework of knowledge integration is presented, three layer (the enterprise distributes resources layer, enterprise managed knowledge layer and product development process layer) in the framework are explanted respectively. The ontology is introduced to provide the semantic fundament for the framework. The structure of integrative ontology is studied and constructed with OWL(Ontology Web Language). The ontology plays an important role in knowledge organization and knowledge service and it’s the core part of the whole framework. At last a prototype system based on the previous techniques is developed and basically fulfills knowledge integration in product development process.

Particle-enhanced is the way to improve properties of solder alloys. In the present work, the influence of Ag particle-enhanced on the wettability and creep rupture life of 99.3Sn0.7Cu eutectic solder with Ag content of 1vol% to 10vol% were investigated. It was indicated that the wettability of the composite solders could be improved by adding minute amount of Ag particles. With increasing the amount of Ag particles, the spreading areas of the composite solders increased when Ag was below 5vol%. When Ag was above 5vol%, the spreading areas started decreasing. When Ag content was up to 10vol%, the wettability of the composite solder sharply deteriorated. In addition, the creep rupture lives of the composite solders were longer than that of 99.3Sn0.7Cu eutectic solder at the same condition. When Ag content was 5vol%, the creep rupture life of the composite solder was the longest among the investigated composite solders and about 23 times of that of 99.3Sn0.7Cu eutectic solder.

The current study evaluated effects of zearalenone (ZEA) and its derivative alpha-zearalenol (alpha-ZOL) on male mouse semen quality, fertility and serum testosterone concentrations. Adult male mice were exposed to intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection of ZEA or alpha-ZOL at 0, 25, 50, and 75 mg/kg body weight (b.w.) daily for 7 days, and then mated with sexually mature untreated female mice. Semen quality, serum testosterone concentrations and fertility of treated mice were assessed. The results showed that the number of abnormal spermatozoa increased and the amount of live spermatozoa decreased significantly in males treated with ZEA at all doses. As well, a significant decrease in spermatozoa with integrated acrosome was observed in mice treated with 50 and 75 mg/kg b.w. alpha-ZOL. Significantly low pregnancy rate was observed when females were mated with ZEA or alpha-ZOL exposed males. Male mice exposed to ZEA had significant reductions in b.w. and relative epididymis weights. However, relative seminal vesicle weights were higher than those of controls. Conversely, significant increases in b.w. and relative preputial gland weight were observed in mice exposed to alpha-ZOL. Testicular and cauda epididymal sperm counts, efficiency of sperm production and serum testosterone concentrations were significantly reduced in mice treated with ZEA or alpha-ZOL at all doses in a dose-dependent manner. In conclusion, we demonstrate that ZEA or alpha-ZOL have adverse effects on reproductive system of adult male mice.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) has been used in the health monitoring of large structures in recent years since it is weather independent, capable of autonomous operation, and does not require a line-of-sight between target points. In this paper, a structural health monitoring system based on the GPS is devised for a high-rise building. The field data, such as wind speed, wind direction and displacement responses were simultaneously and continuously measured under strong wind conditions. The relation between velocity components of the atmospheric wind and pressure fluctuations on the roof of the building are analyzed using the wavelet scalogram and wavelet coherence method, and a statistical significance level estimation method based on Monte Carlo simulation is presented to isolate the meaningful coherence from the spurious noise map. Finally, the responses of the high-rise building are investigated using the Periodogram method to conclude that the identified results agree well with the results computed by the Finite Element Method (FEM).

The simplified computational models of high-voltage transmission tower–line system under out-of-plane and in-plane vibrations are presented due to seismic excitations in this paper. The equations of motion are derived and the computer program is compiled to obtain the earthquake responses of the coupled system. To verify the rationality of the proposed approaches, the shaking-table experiments of the coupled system of transmission lines and their supporting towers are carried out and the results indicate that the errors of theoretical and testing results of systemic seismic responses are within the acceptable arrange in engineering area. Based on these studies, a simplified analysis method is proposed to make the seismic response calculation of coupled tower–conductor system faster and more effective.

A random synthesis procedure based on finite fault model is adopted for near field strong ground motion simulation in this paper. The fault plane of the source is divided into a number of sub-sources, the whole moment magnitude is also divided into more sub-events. The Fourier spectrum of ground motion caused by a sub-event in given sub-source, then can be derived by means of taking the point source spectrum, attenuation with distance, energy dissipation, and near surface effect, into account. A time history is synthesized from this amplitude spectrum and a random phase spectrum, and being combined with an envelope function. The ground motion is worked out by superposition of all time histories from each sub-event in each sub-source, with time lags determining by the differences between the triggering times of sub-events and distances of the sub-sources. From the example of simulations at 21 near field points in a scenario earthquake with 4 dip angles of the fault plane, it is illustrated that the procedure can describe the rupture directivity and hanging wall effect very well. To validate the procedure, the response spectra and time histories recorded at three near fault stations MCN, LV3 and PCD during the Northridge earthquake in 1994, are compared with the simulated ones.

The high-chromium cast iron sample was microwave-assisted digested with aqueous regia in a closed vessel. Series standards were prepared with matching Fe matrix and adding Y as internal standard. Line intensities of the prepared standards and the digested sample solutions were determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. Accuracy of the proposed method was verified by the analysis of three national standard Materials GSBH 41018, GBW 01120 and GBW 01121, and the results were well agreed with the certification data.

The influence of boron existing in sample solution on the excitation temperature of the ICP was studied in the present paper. Method of Boltzmann plot of Fe lines were used for the excitation temperature determination. Slop of the plot was obtained from linearity regression. Experimental results showed that excitation temperature was varied with the reference values of Ig(gf), and boron concentration has no effect on the temperature. The conclusion is quite different from Ref[5] which was earlier reported by Broekaert.
