Background Adolescent non-suicidal self-injury has become an increasingly serious mental health problem, and its course is protracted, causing serious burdens to patients, families and society. Intervention of non-suicidal self-injury in adolescents requires a comprehensive intervention model, and the practice of online intervention management in China is still in its infancy. Objective To investigate the intervention effect of "Internet+" dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) on suicidal ideation, cognitive emotion regulation, and alleviation of depression in adolescent patients with non-suicidal self-injury. Methods A total of 120 adolescent patients with non-suicidal self-injury who were discharged from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from May 2021 to May 2022 were selected and randomly divided into the control group (n=60) and intervention group by randomized controlled single-blind method (n=60). The control group received drug intervention, telephone follow-up and psychological counseling, the intervention group implemented a one-year "Internet+" DBT training based on the control group, which was divided into 4 modules of mindfulness training, interpersonal effectiveness training, emotion regulation training and pain tolerance training. Before the intervention, 6 months and 12 months after the intervention, the Self-rating Idea of Suicide Scale (SIOSS), Chinese version of Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, (CERQ-C) and Montgomery and Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) were used to evaluate the suicidal ideation, cognitive emotion regulation, and depression status of the two groups of patients. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used to compare the health status of the two groups at different time points. Results Finally, 57 cases in the control group and 55 cases in the intervention group completed the study. There was an interaction between group and time on SIOSS, CERQ-C, and MADRS scores (P0.001). Objective To investigate the expression of adenosine deaminase acting on RNA-1 (ADAR1) in lung adenocarcinoma and its association with clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis. Methods Immunohistochemical staining was applied to detect the expression of ADAR1 in the tumor tissues and corresponding adjacent normal tissues of 131 patients with lung adenocarcinoma treated in our hospital from December 2015 to September 2017. The association between the expression of ADAR1 protein and clinicopathological parameters was analyzed. Kaplan-Meier analysis was performed to analyze the correlation between ADAR1 level and patients' overall survival (OS), and fitting Cox model was used to evaluate the prognostic values of different indixes. Results ADAR1 was highly expressed in 102 cases (77.9%) of the patients, while only 21 cases (12.5%) of paired para-carcinoma tissues, indicating a significant difference (P < 0.001), and the level of ADAR1 was correlated with clinical stage and lymph node metastasis (P < 0.05). Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that higher expression of ADAR1 was remarkably associated with shorter OS (HR=2.671, 95%CI: 1.282~5.563, P < 0.01). Multivariate Cox regression analysis suggested that clinical stage and lymph node metastasis (P < 0.01) were independent risk factors for prognosis of the patients. Conclusion ADAR1 is highly expressed in lung adenocarcinoma tissues, and the patients with higher expression indicate poorer prognosis.

Magnetic particle imaging (MPI) is an emerging non-invasive tomographic technique based on the response of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) to oscillating drive fields at the center of a static magnetic gradient. In contrast to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which is driven by uniform magnetic fields and projects the anatomic information of the subjects, MPI directly tracks and quantifies MNPs in vivo without background signals. Moreover, it does not require radioactive tracers and has no limitations on imaging depth. This article first introduces the basic principles of MPI and important features of MNPs for imaging sensitivity, spatial resolution, and targeted biodistribution. The latest research aiming to optimize the performance of MPI tracers is reviewed based on their material composition, physical properties, and surface modifications. While the unique advantages of MPI have led to a series of promising biomedical applications, recent development of MPI in investigating vascular abnormalities in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, and cancer are also discussed. Finally, recent progress and challenges in the clinical translation of MPI are discussed to provide possible directions for future research and development., (© 2023 Wiley‐VCH GmbH.)
